Dickey's Barbecue Pit

For me the visit was an excellent experience. This was my first time to eat at Dickey"s BBQ Pit since 2016 when I moved to mid Michigan! I ordered the 3 rib combo! The meat was fall off the bones succulent! They were moist and flavorful! The unsweetened tea was smooth tasting and the sweet tea was nicely balanced! The fries were fresh, crispy, hot, and nicely portioned. I will be back soon.

Normally I don't do bad reviews because I don't like to see businesses get a bad rap but the chicken wings we're hard as stones the baked beans tasted like they were out of a can the ribs were very unseasoned and watered down barbecue flavorless sauce and instead of actual Texas toast they are hot dog buns sometimes you can catch a business on a bad day butt unfortunately that wasn't the case

I stopped in there to check out menu. Menu was in 2 different places confusing, sides weren't on board. Asked about 3 meat order, lady in back said we have no ribs not ready. Ok BBQ PIT?? NO RIBS? Sitting at home deciding whether or not to go back. Looked up website, read reviews, always start at the lowest, Nahhh! I'll pass!!!

I don’t typically order online for bbq restaurants but I had to today for work. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries. They gave me 6 fries in total and half of my pulled pork was very hard as if it had been sitting out all day. I usually love eating here but will always go in for best quality from here on out.

The food here seems to be hit or miss. We have been here a couple times and the food quality seems to fluctuate. The Service, however is always welcoming. We enjoy the food here, when its fresh and not dried out.

Clean restaurant.... great smokey food...you can smell it as you get out of the car.... download the app and get free stuff....pulled pork is excellent... staff was friendly and helpful... I'll be back.... you should try it....2 thumbs up

Brisket was juicy— not dried out like last time- but full of ALOT of fat☹️ Definitely not enough meat for $45!! I ordered 2 brisket dinners- both were more fat than actual brisket😡

I got the brisket sandwich combo with chili instead of fries and was very happy with my lunch. The generous portion of brisket was hot, juicy, and tender served on a toasted bun. The chili was meaty and a little spicy like you would expect from a Texas style BBQ. The Texas sized heavy duty traditional yellow Dickey's self-serve drink cup came with the combo. I plan to return for more visits when I'm craving Texas BBQ.

Went in on a Sunday night to get some bbq. The staff were nice but not very helpful. I got the pulled pork plate with 2 sides both fries. I got the order to go and when I got the portion sizes for the meal which ended up being $18, the fry portions seemed really small and only got two sauce cups for the meal. The pulled pork was alright and the toast was good. Probably won't be coming back

Awful. Had a coupon code for a BOGO 2-meat plate, and I still think I overpaid. Start with the positive: the ribs were pretty good- moist and seasoned nicely. The jalapeno cheddar kielbasa was very good as well....but that's about where it ended. The brisket was dry. The pulled pork was...fine. But man...the chicken wings were awful and inedible. First off, they were some of the smallest wings I've ever had. And add to that that they were overcooked....just terrible. Mac and cheese tasted like it was overcooked and then sat out for hours....clumpy, dry, and bland. I ordered the brisket chili (for $1 more) and was told at pickup that they were out. They didn't have any onions sliced, so we opted to just not wait for those. Also ordered pickles and none were included in the order. Lastly, we ordered 4 corn muffins (no, they're not even muffins) and they only had 2 "muffins" prepared. So what do you do when you don't have enough ready? You give the customer FROZEN corn bread. Seriously? Be prepared. We placed our order for pickup at 6:45 and didn't walk out until after 7:00. What a huge let down. Do better.

The Service is good. The Food is great! The Atmosphere is casual and pleasant. Overall Impressions? It's definitely one of my favorites and a regular stop.

The brisket chili was delicious and flavorful and fried okra was very unique to taste since it is rare to find. The sandwiches were very tasty and different compared to others. The meat was tender and juicy the bun was the best part surprisingly. The only bad part is the sides I got. I asked for cheese and they gave me it put it tasted kinda weird but it didn't ruin the flavor of the sandwich. The price is also a bit high but if ur putting high price of food it better be quality food which it is. Would come here again and will recommend to others! I give it a 4.5 since I can't do it on the review on yelp.
