Dick's Drive-In

I’ve come to dicks a lot in my time. This is the first time my food was not fully. I saw it as my kid had almost finished the burger. 3 out of my 7 cheese burgers were under cooked. As a result to this happening I can not recommend this location in the future

We love this place! Dick’s Burgers is fast, delicious, and always fresh — truly a must-try! The burgers are juicy and flavorful, the fries are perfectly crispy, and the milkshakes are amazing. Highly recommended for anyone craving a classic, satisfying meal!

First time to try. Fresh, simple, good taste. Will be back. It's great if you want to fill up and you're pressed for time.

Dick’s is the drive-in that proves simple is sexy. No frills, no fussy menus—just burgers, fries and shakes done so right they deserve their own fan club. Came opening day but waited until crowd tapered off. The burgers? Old-school straightforward and unapologetically classic. The fries? Kosher, golden nostalgia. Seattleites know, you haven’t really driven in until you’ve had a bag of Dick’s!

Good burger but no changes allowed, except I was able to get a deluxe without cheese. Very tasty burger. French fries are made in sunflower oil, which I'm highly allergic to, so no fries for me.

Walk up fast food. Cheap food is the only reason people eat here. This is the cheapest food in the state of Washington. So I get it. But it was not good. They charge you for ketchup and it’s in a pack. I will not return. I would not recommend this place. I understand that it’s a memory thing for people who were raised in Washington. You have to eat in your car or take it with you.

In today's economy, if you're looking for an affordable Burger that still tastes good, this walk up window style restaurant is just what you need. Some people don't like the deluxe burgers because it has a relish type taste but other people crave it. However, it's difficult to go wrong with their regular hamburger or regular cheeseburger because it's simple, fresh and tastes great. As a "foodie" I would strongly suggest you skip the fries, although tasty they are very soggy and limp due to the one-time cooking style ( as you know many fries are fried twice to get that extra crisp texture and taste) . Make sure you bring a jacket when it's cold though because you do have to stand outside even though there's usually ample parking at the new location in Everett, Washington. Even though it's in a sketchy area, it feels clean and safe any time of day.

I’ve been going to Dick’s all my life and it’s fabulous. I especially love that it’s local, fast, fresh and friendly! The fries are cut in store, the food is always hot and the milkshakes are great! Price is decent and it’s totally worth it supporting and local business. 100% recommend (and I’m very picky about burgers).

First time trying Dick's and coming from California where In-n-Out it was a great comparison. - Price is equal. - Meat is more generous at Dick's - Fries are a tie and both delicious - drink size goes to In-n-Out Overall great value and will visit many times over now.

I can't find anything wrong with Dick's. This location is easy to access with plenty of parking. The wait time on a Saturday night was extremely short to no lines, multiple cashiers ready to take orders. The food comes out quick. The ambiance is classic burger drive-in and casual takeout. It's nice they accept credit card and add a service charge. Their cheeseburger is simple and great. Definitely hits the spot for a late night munchie. The Special is good, too, but only if you can handle the mayonnaise (tar tar sauce). I know the menu stated that the burger is made of mayonnaise, but tar tar sauce is listed as a condiment for 20 cents and that is definitely what they added to the Special. In summary, this is not a fancy or healthy dining option, but one that is quick and fun with tasty cheap burgers.

What can I say, good food, quick service, and affordable. It's not fancy but it is a great meal if you're feeling lazy.

If you aren't from Washington you might not appreciate this restaurant as much as I do. Their food is iconic and nothing like other fast food restaurants you've been to. Their tartar sauce is really a sweet pickle sauce but delicious! I love the fries but some might consider them "limp". They are hand cut in house. They are quick and efficient which is what you want in a fast food. All in all, this place is nostalgic for me. Because they are open late, we would go get a bag of Dick's after hitting the clubs. They aren't gourmet by any means but the food is nummy!

I told the teens about getting "a bag of Dick's." They thought it was hilarious. My parents wanted somewhere cheap and quick. And so we landed here. I'd been to other locations, but not this one. This location is actually still pretty new. There was a crowd, but the lines moved pretty quickly. The service was great - friendly, patient, fast, and got everything correct. The burgers are so yum. Especially for the price. Finding a tasty burger at such a low price is pretty damn near impossible these days. And the fries and shakes are good too. A place that is affordable, tasty, and pleases three generations of family riding in a car together? Oh hell yeah. This was an excellent choice for lunch.

Let me preface this review by saying I'm a born n' raised Southern California Boy! And IN-N-OUT is THE GOLD STANDARD when it comes to burgers. Period. End of story. You cannot convince me otherwise. Ok, with that outta the way, I am always for trying out the spoils of a good bovine. I don't trash a place just for the heck of it, I mean, who wins? I wanted to like this place, but it's just not it. Went there yesterday and all was good until I bit into the burger. It was as dry as a hot California day, and the fries are not anything special. Might I give them another try in the future? I don't know, this impression does not compel me to spend my hard earned money here again. Should you? Happy Eating, -Fj

There's not much to not like about Dicks. Good food, great prices, and friendly service. Only thing that I would change is being able to customize your burgers but unfortunately that's not their MO. I grabbed dinner here last night before going to an event in the area. I got a hamburger, fries and Diet Coke. The fries were piping hot but were limp (they usually are) which wasn't great. I wish they would make their fries a bit crispier. The burger was tasty and comes with just some ketchup and mustard on it. I've also been a number of times and had their ice cream which is always delicious. My parents always detour to Dicks when they're in town visiting just to get some.

It was my first time at this location. Even though it was a new location to me, it looked the same as the other Dick's Drive-Ins and had the window service. There were many open windows, so the service for ordering was quick. I did wait a couple minutes, as I made a large order, but it wasn't long at all. By the time the person behind me was paying, I got my order. The burgers were great! I did feel like compared to the last time I had Dick's, at a different location, the buns were a lot more softer. The fries were crisp and nicely salted.

Nostalgia is a powerful force in the universe. However, it's not powerful enough to make me enjoy a burger that reminds me of the burgers they served in my school cafeteria in grammar school, only worse.

It's not just any drive-in... it's Dick's! We've now had Dick's Drive-In on two separate occasions while down in Everett. The first time, I must have been starving because I went all in with a Deluxe and a Cheeseburger, plus a vanilla ice cream with hot fudge. My husband ordered the Special, a Cheeseburger, and fries. I had my eye on the Special because it came with two patties, even if they were only 1/8 lb each. I'm not a big pickle person--I like them sometimes--but I didn't think to ask if the pickle relish could be left off. The fries were underwhelming, kind of like they were trying to be Five Guys fries but missed the mark. The prices also felt a bit steep for what you get. While it has a cheap, classic drive-in vibe, it adds up quickly if you're a hungry adult looking for extra protein. I do love the retro look of the building and the overall atmosphere, but in my head, a true drive-in should have servers on skates delivering food to your car. All in all, if we're hungry and nearby, we might stop again, but it's not somewhere I'd go out of my way for.

I love Dicks! There is nothing like ordering a big back of Dicks and sitting on the curb or the bed of a truck and stuffing your face. Definitely the best local fast food burger chain in the northwest. The service is always quick and accurate. This is the newest location and I got ho here for the first time! I believe they opened a few weeks ago. It looks basically like every standard Dick's, its just shiny and new. I don't live near any Dick's, but I have a reoccurring dream where they announce that they are taking over Burgerville (which is overrated and way too expensive for what you get) and I eat there every day!

This is the newest location and I am 100% here for it. All of the classics... the Deluxe, Special, Cheese, Regular hamburger + shakes, hand cut fries, fountain sodas + ice cream! This is an iconic no frills drive-in / order at the glass-window establishment located an easy 5 minute ride from the airport at Paine Field. Re-route that navigation app and stop by Dick's on your way into town or before you hit the road. While there might not be seating available it is well worth it to tailgate or stand at the side counter and enjoy a Deluxe w/ root beer & fries. Can't wait to be back!

So fun to have a Dick's in Everett. We came by on a Sunday night and it was packed. Since they are brand new, it was pretty slow service wise as I am assuming they are still working out the kinks. I am sure once they have more practice time they will get more in the groove. Lots of parking spots and central location in Everett!

It's a drive in but we'll know in PACNW. No male to order. Cheeseburger and hamburger can be ordered plain but that's it's. It's not Burger King so you can't have it your way. They are a large supporter of the local community and support charities. They pay a living wage so it's not McDonald's pricing. They do treat her staff with dignity and respect. Please consider dining at this establishment

We heard the Dick's Drive In was a place we must visit while in Washington. We were pleasantly surprised. They have a very simple menu that is quite cheap, service is fast and the food was great! There is no seating so plan to park, walk up to the window to order and leave with your food. The fries are skinny, hot and crispy. The burgers are smashed burgers and have crispy outsides, perfection! Don't expect to order anything extra on the burgers. You can get onions, ketchup, mustard and tartar all on the side but can't add them to your burger. Tartar sauce is the closest they have to mayo. It's literally mayo and pickles and that's what they use on the burgers in place of mayo. The menu says mayo and chopped pickles but they're mixed which is their "tartar". Their milk shakes are also great and cheap. You've gotta try this place out!

They handed it to us when it had milkshake all over the cup then he wiped it last minute when he saw we grabbed tissues. As soon as I drove home (3min drive), the cup was leaking hella. not his fault tho but they could have checked first :(

This location saves us 20ish minutes from going to the Edmonds location, but I doubt we'll be back. Service was slow despite being absolutely dead, but that isn't my big issue. With our order, we ordered two milkshakes. They were given to us half full. Not a little less than full- HALF. FULL. When I pointed it out, we were told that was the new normal. I am all for Dick's paying a living wage to their employees, but when you're charging In-N- Out prices, you damn well better provide In-N-Out quality food and service. This location did not. Being born and raised in Snohomish county, I understand that Dick's is a Puget Sound institution, however, there are other much better burger places for your dollar.

This location just opened near us and it lives up to the hype. The burgers and small and thin and we usually order two each. The fries were good two. Not too crispy but kind of soft. The orange swirl ice cream was really good too. They don't have ranch but they do have tartar sauce. You need to get of your car to order and you eat in your car. The line goes by exceptionally fast and we haven't had to wait long. Definitely will be back next time we are craving burgers.

If I could I would give this place -1 star. This location has very slow and bad customer service-compared to most of the other locations I been going to for years. Me and my family had to wait a long time in line (with only 2 people in front of us) and on top of that we experienced very bad customer service. If you're taking your friends/family members to Dicks Drive- in for the first time I recommend NOT to take them to the Everett location.

We are from California and in Seattle for a couple weeks before headed to Alaska We wanted to try this place out because it looks nostalgic from the outside but I was not impressed at all with their burgers. They are fast as lightning to fill your order but the burgers here are just plain not good at all . They are cheap and fast and not very tasty. We feed the blackbirds and seagulls that were hanging around the fries . The price is not cheap . There's no where to sit except on the curve in the parking lot. I don't get all the hype about this place .

I honestly don't get the hype. The fries were super soggy as if they've been sitting in the bag for a while. The burger was not even good - patty and bread dry and did not go well with the massive amount of sauce they put in it. I prefer Wendy's next door.

Subpar experience all around. Very clean...that's good. Tried this location both times they got my order wrong. Deluxe, fries and coke. Very standard. First time got a Special. Second time no fries. Place was very slow compared to what I've seen at Edmonds and other locations. No line at all but there is a wait go figure. Didn't see anybody working fries. When I went back some guy told me I wasn't charged for fries. Somehow seems to have missed the point. Lots of workers not actively engaged. Usually even at Edmonds people are running around or doing something. Not so here Maybe they were having a bring your friend or partner to work day. Both times my food was way way salty...like barely edible...last time it was my fries... couldn't compare cuz I got no fries even though I ordered some . This time about half my Deluxe was over salted. Strange thoughts crossed my mind about the "new" beef they are using. I think they should do some mystery shopper stuff. Once id sort of okay but twice? Don't take my word for it send in some mystery shoppers. I frequently utilize fast food and this has never happened to me TWICE in a row. I always order small standard stuff. I speak clearly..no accent and English is my native language.

Inconsistent from other locations I've tried. Twice already the fries were hard. The service was fast, and the burger was as expected, but Dick's fries used to be my favorite. Very disappointing. Recommend checking the fries before leaving.

Decided to make a stop on my way to the airport, and luckily there wasn't a wait! Top quality service and the food was on point!!! Chill location and easy to park. I'll be back when I am in town.

I've been going to Dick's since I was young, and I'm 70 yrs old now. They've never been a gourmet burger, but they are tasty and seem to hit the spot, especially after clubbing, (when I was young) I always get the cheese burger and fries. People who grew up with going to Dick's love their burgers and fries, but outside people don't get the big deal, and say the fries are limp, and greasy, well, they're freshly cut and that may be why, but I think they're great! Also, you can't beat the price. They're really quick and got it down pat.

Iconic place reached Everett! Location is easy to get to and will increase my frequency of stopping by being closer!

Great service and food quality despite the price increases. I know they have a homeless problem but it would be nice to have some tables to eat at in front of the restaurant.

First let me say that this is only my opinion, and I'm sure that there are many who love Dick's, and I'm happy for them. Secondly, this is only a review of their Burgers and Fries , not the Ice Cream or Yogurt. This is the second time that I've been so Dick's. Once in 2019, and yesterday, 2 different locations. The Good: the French Fries are very tasty! They're not overcooked, salted perfectly, and just a good all-around French Fry! I would go back and get the fries. The Bad: The Burger . I got the Deluxe with cheese; very little lettuce, no tomato, sauce was meh, it was comparable to McDonald's. Also, my stomach was upset all night after eating that burger (making noises that it doesn't usually make). Not going back for a burger, ever! The Ugly: the guy at the counter, probably 20 years old or so. Not friendly no customer service mindset, no smile. Probably the least friendly Washingtonian that I've met since I've moved here (I love Washington and the people). He was terse when I asked if they grilled onions. He said that he didn't understand when I wanted a plain burger patty with no bun or anything; when I told him it was for my dog, he said they could only sell a plain burger With the bun... okay, fine. But then he messed up the order. We ordered 2 French Fries, 1 Deluxe with cheese, and 1 plain Burger. We got 1 French Fry, 1 Deluxe with cheese, and 2 plain Burgers! No receipt was offered, and after thinking about it, I was overcharged!!! I guess I thought after 6 years, Dick's would be better... If I go back, I'll review the ice cream or yogurt. The Burger... NEVER AGAIN!
