DICK'S Sporting Goods

This was my second interaction with Eve in the bike section of the Dick’s in West Ashley. The first was when I purchased a bike from the website and it arrived with some parts missing. I took the bike in and she was able to put it together for me with some parts that were available in the store at no charge. She made all of the necessary adjustments to my bike and made sure that I rode it around the parking lot before calling it good to go. Next, my girlfriend and I were in to get a bike rack and ask about some adjustments that may have been necessary for her current bike. Eve gave us great guidance on selecting a new bike for my girlfriend (which I think was her plan the whole time) for the type of riding that we do regularly. We have a trailer that we use for our two boys. Her level of knowledge was nothing short of impressive and now I have full confidence that we have the right equipment for our lifestyle based on Eve’s recommendations. I will always bring any questions or concerns to this location just because she works here. Amazing service!

Love this place. I shop here allot for soccer gear for my son. And shoes.I have the Dicks credit card, and i earn 1 point for every dollar spent. It's a must-have!

I needed work boots, but dicks only carries one boot. They have always had a great selection of under armor boots. The associate said that they can only carry what they think the consumer wants. Bad business practices.

I bought 2 life vest with a gift card. One was the wrong size. I tried to exchange it, and noone in the whole store could figure out to just swap it out with the right size. All I heard was what is your phone number, and we can't do that because you don't have a receipt. This is why you buy online.

As I was leaving near the front door checkout, I witnessed the manager (~40s M) harassing staff (18-25 F). She was mopping the floor prior to close. I don’t have the full context, but in front of several other customers, it was evident he was reprimanding her. He repeatedly told her, “Whatever your raise was yesterday, double it”. After several repetitions, she stated that she did not receive a raise yesterday, to which he responded, “So what is double of nothing?” He again pushed and went through the whole saga again and only to end again with “So what is double of nothing?” I didn’t get the full context, but it was certainly a disgusting interaction.

Gabe is the best customer service employee ever and this is why! My daughter really wanted a certain color Stanley cup. We couldn’t locate the right size and we asked Gabe if he could check the inventory for the color and size we wanted. Now, normally we get the response, “our entire inventory is on the sales floor” and nobody ever looks in the computer system or the back warehouse. Gabe actually looked for it in the computer system, saw that there were 4 in the store, went to the back warehouse, located it, and brought it to us!!! This sort of work ethic and customer service is awesome and this man deserves an employee of the year award! Gabe, you’re awesome!!!

They always have what I am looking for (plus more). Everyone is friendly and helpful. I buy a lot of my kid’s shoes here and they are so helpful. They have great sales too!
