Dick’s Sporting Goods Park is an absolute gem of a stadium, offering a fantastic experience whether you’re there for a Colorado Rapids game or a major concert. The atmosphere on game days is simply electric, especially with the passionate Centennial 38 supporters section creating a wall of sound. The design of the stadium itself feels intimate yet spacious, with great sightlines from virtually every seat. You’re always close to the action on the pitch. Beyond the main stadium, the entire complex is a huge selling point. With its sprawling fields, it has a true community feel, bringing together youth sports, adult leagues, and special events. This adds a unique layer that most stadiums lack. The food and drink options have also seen great improvement, with a variety of local-inspired offerings that go far beyond standard stadium fare. While traffic can be a minor hurdle, the energy and experience inside are well worth it. It’s a top-notch venue that truly stands out in the Denver area, making it a must-visit for any sports fan or concert-goer.

Our son is still deciding what will be his sport, so we have been here twice. It is a great stadium experience, especially with young children. Parking is seamless with an easy walk to get to the gates. Entering is quick and easy. Once inside there are lots of food facilities, bathrooms and the seating is simple to find. The stadium seating offers great views no matter where you are seated. Especially, because this is not a huge place. 80% of the seating is covered so rain is not a big problem.

Google
Great stadium. Parking is free which is nice but everyone parks there so it gets pretty crowded and traffic is intense. We found a spot fairly quickly because we drove through one lot to go park in another. There isn’t a bad view in the stadium. The players enter from behind the goal by the scoreboard and the ultras are on the opposite side. The team store is extremely expensive but tickets are pretty cheap so it works out.

Google
This is an amazing venue for lacrosse and concerts (yes, I know it's the Rapids' stadium, but I have yet to come to a Rapids game). I don't think there's a bad seat in the entire stadium. The staff during the Hozier concert ensured policies were enforced to keep the environment great for everyone!

Jamie Garrett

Google
A nice stadium outside of Denver. I'm an MLS fan who was on vacation in Colorado and had the privilege to see a game here (Rapids v Vancouver). Getting in and out of parking were straightforward (and parking was free!) Same with stadium entry and exit. There were good food a drink options. Very few bad seats. Plus, if it's an evening game, you get to see the Colorado sunset.

I’m with everyone else here that tried leaving the Hozier concert from paid venue parking and could not…parking was horrible and we will not be coming back literally just because of that. Maybe if there’s a great concert again we’ll find somewhere to park and walk in. It took 45 minutes to get in to the show to park (before showtime) no one was checking phones for parking passes so not sure why that took so long. We were already walking to our car as the show was ending and it still took an HOUR to move at all. They totally blocked our parking lot exits to let out VIP parking first and then after about 45 minutes or so started to let out maybe 10 cars from our lots between 5-10 minutes of more VIPs only. (I found this out by leaving our car, walking across the entire parking lot again, finding more people standing around because they also left their car, and learning they had only just seen the traffic people start letting people turn out of our lots’ road. Then I went back to our car which had not moved at all during that 20 minutes scouting). We ended up being directed out of the lot and in the opposite direction of most of the traffic so I’m sure it could’ve taken even longer if we had been forced to go the other way back into a fully stopped line. It CANNOT be safe to let people leave a concert that late, sit for an hour, and then go drive around on the highways. Or be trapped in a lot at all for that amount of time. Plus probably not great for the environment to have a ton of people idling in cars for an hour because no one knew what was going on. I have never had such horrible parking anywhere and have been to plenty of concerts and sporting events with similar crowds. Photo is from 12am 👎🏻

Google
First time at this sports park for a Rapids game. Everything was fine except leaving after the game.We waited about 35 minutes to walk to the car. We sat in the car for a bit to wait till our row had no traffic. We went a short distance and got stuck in the middle lane of traffic which took a long while to go through. The problem was that two of the lanes had to merge into one. Once this was done, everything started to move.

Google
Really nice complex! Lots of parking. Some in grass / mud. ?! That was a bit odd but today it was for employees. We are for an Academy game so not on the pro field. No concessions or “real” bathrooms seemed available. When you’re from MO it really neat to see mountains in the background.

Yelp
Great night watching the Rapids! Beautiful night and an awesome stadium! I would recommend visiting!

Yelp
A great soccer stadium with lots of open space around it to showcase the Colorado Rapids, summer concert series and more. I have also attended a 5k here and loved it! As always get here at least 30 minutes before game time or show time because the closer to the start time the longer the lines get. Don't complain because of the long lines when you could have arrived earlier. Also, there is no re entry, so make sure you have everything you need before you come in and know that once you leave you will not be admitted back in. Seating is simply laid out and you can find them easily. The restrooms, however, could be labeled better for everyone to see and find. There are lots of different food and beverage options. One of the most popular places that always has a long line is GB Fish and Chips. One of the best things about the stadium is no matter if you're buying food, checking out the season ticket holder tent or enjoying a drink at Eighteen76 you can always watch the game. It's all right there and within eyesight! This is a great place to have a fun night out and watch a game.

Yelp
Last month, I went to my first large tour since before COVID-19. A show that I had been waiting to see for just shy of two years. This was my first time at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City. Parking was easy (most likely due to getting there pretty early). They charged $20 to park in regular parking, which I didn't see anywhere on their site. As I didn't have cash on me, I was glad that they accept credit card for this. Exiting was also a breeze. I'm so used to horrible experiences when leaving a large show, so it was nice to get out within a few minutes. Inside the venue, I went down to the floor and checked into the PIT section. Got a wristband, which made entering and exiting that area convenient. The venue is pretty standard to most of its kind, so nothing really to report on there. What I did experience, which I'll never forget, was how quickly security helped me out of the pit when I was close to passing out (a poor combo of not drinking enough/eating enough that day, standing for quite a few hours, and flames being blasted from one of the bands' sets). I wasn't feeling well as the second song was starting, sat down, and someone asked me if I was okay. When I replied "No", he got security's attention, who helped out within a minute or two. They brought me over to the first aid tent, and the staff there was also great. A couple of glasses of water, and a Gatorade later, I was feeling better, and able to see the rest of the show. I really am grateful for the help of those there as I was at the show by myself. They really took care of me, so if you are reading this, and were the security and first aid staff at the Hella Mega Tour who helped me out, I appreciate you!

Yelp
Intimate soccer-specific stadium, perfectly sized for crowds. No matter where you are, you aren't far from the game, good a/v setup, and nice construction. Efficient entry. I've been to many games, they're exciting and a good value especially when there are offers. It's surprising they don't usually try to do any sort of halftime entertainment. The location is cool, on the edge of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR, wide open views. Parking is included in game ticket prices. And good community partnership with the surrounding youth fields. There are a good variety of concession stands and decent food, though it might mean going several places to get what everyone wants. And they're operated by volunteers fundraising for various groups, so often not very efficient or knowledgeable about how to correctly use promos. I got an invite to one game in a box, where the food was quite excellent, particularly the barbecue pork tacos.

Yelp
First timer at a professional soccer match! Dick's Sporting Goods Park was a very nice facility with quite friendly staff. The food options were meh but the atmosphere made up for it.

Yelp
This place is a dump. They made everybody with field tickets standing in line for hours, while the stand line had nobody in it. They wouldn't let anybody with field tickets in the stand door and so thousands of people missed out on all sorts of nonsense because dicks. This is turning into one of the worst venues ever.

Yelp
I have now successfully found the worst pizza ever made. Dicks found a way to make middle school lunchroom pizza taste good in comparison. The crust was an airy cardboard texture with a hint of browning. The cheese looked like cheese but tasted like nothing. The sauce is a masterful example of how not to make pizza sauce. I hope the person who designed this pizza gets medical attention because something is obviously wrong

Yelp
Let me rapidly review the Rapids for you. The stadium up here in Colorado is wonderful and they did a great job manufacturing it and giving the fans of MLS one of the better experiences in the league. It opened in 2007 and is the highest elevation stadium for all of MLS. It seats about 20k but hasn't developed the most intense crowd as of yet. Colorado has been one of the standout teams in MLS for a long time and ever since they got Tim Howard, who is the face of the franchise now, they've been doing pretty well and keeping a lot of clean sheets. Having said that I do think they could do a better job at securing titles and many championships. People like Pablo Mastroeni put a lot of heart and soul into the club but the club would have needed to arrange a roster and management really capable of winning and they haven't done that yet. It's one of the best stadiums in MLS though, it's just a shame it's a little bit out of the way and in the middle of nowhere. It's cool with its mountainous tall stand that makes it look different to all others. It just gets so cold here in the cold months though, and is a bit unsheltered from elements. I'll increase it to 5 when they work on it a bit, and on transit to get here too.

Yelp
3 stars, should be more, but here we are. legendary? not sure about that. so for catching a concert, dicks should be legendary. i guess before half the country decided to go 'colorado' it might have been, but the effort and energy and resources to make it out here from the east coast??? well, to be honest, not all its made out to be. we stayed within walking distance, which i do recommend, heard back things about traffic, parking, the usual. cant say much about the lots, but LPT, ask to be dropped off at the balloon festival across the street and save a few bucks on your uber (works the other way too!) for a pandemic show, there wasnt enough space, not in line, not in the venue, not anywhere. getting in and out, closing the bridge limiting egress, bad bad bad. didnt eat or drink anything since you know, pandemic. the grass field to hang out on before the show was well manicured, but they also turn on the sprinklers after, so prepare for that too! for me, it was the final hurrah

Yelp
I had an opportunity to attend a Rapids game. What a cool stadium. Really not a bad seat in the house. We sat in bleacher seating which was COLD! Next time I'll being something to warm my butt! The mini doughnut stand was awesome- by far the longest line in the concessions area. It's cash only but you should try it! Monster nachos were fine and so was the pizza. Parking was easy and I liked that they use Flash seating app for ticket entry. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Only because I can't give zero. Parking is miserable. Did they not consider people might drive here.

Yelp
We came out for Labor weekend for a concert at Dick's. We had been to Red Rocks and we figured we needed to do Dick's at least once. Tickets, my fiance had purchased our tickets a couple of months back. Good thing he did because the show ended being sold out and it seemed like it was a hard ticket to come by. My fiance got mobile tickets and you had to download an app. We were kind of freaking out about it before we went because there was no way to print physical tickets, just the email confirmation, but we ended out to Dick's. Parking was a breeze and well organized. But I was already imaging the messy situation it was going to be leaving the parking lot. We headed into the venue, through the practice fields where it appeared people without tickets were setting up to listen to the show. Apparently the sound isn't half bad from there. Getting in, that was sort of a nightmare. We were at Gate F and it seemed like everyone got crowded to the corner, and the corner was just not moving. I told my fiance we needed to move to the left side... and the second we did, we got straight in. The mobile app worked fine, and it even printed out physical tickets right then and there. The whole venue is general admission or floor, which is also general admission, but you need a floor ticket and wristband. However, I did see a lot of people without wristbands making their way onto the floor with no problems. Seating in the stands is based on first come, first serve. We were lucky enough to find seats in the fifth row, with a pretty good view of the stage. Sound was on point. Bathrooms. They were clean, and surprisingly, the lines moved fast. However, the soap dispensers ran out of soap quick. The food was pretty bad though. It's a concert venue, I know, we shouldn't be that surprised. But I guess recently we have been spoiled with good food options. But not a lot of selections and what there was, was overpriced and bad. We figured getting out would be a nightmare. But it seems like Dick's has their stuff together. We were out of the parking lot and on the highway in less than ten minutes. We will hopefully be back next year.

Jacob V.

Yelp
This place is a complete joke, my friend lost his phone on a Friday night, phone I verified to be inside the venue, probably in lost and found. It is now Sunday evening and they still won't give phone back, the people that run this venue are as unhelpful as ANY experience I have ever had. Not only that but they have changed their story on their procedure to get phone back a about 10 times.

Yelp
The stadium itself is really nice and the soccer fields surrounding were great quality fields. We visited the park for a youth national soccer tournament and we were very impressed. Great experience for the girls!

Yelp
I give Dick's a lot of credit for its design, as it is definitely one of the most intimate places I have ever seen a game. It's open and airy, and the seats offer great views that make you feel a part of the pitch. And they have an excellent team playing there, with some excited fans supporting them (even if some of them seemed a little uninformed about the sport). In addition, beer is served in unusually large 24 oz cups, which some other stadiums could take a lesson from. (On the other hand, DSG Park considers Tecate "premium draft" and price it at $7.75.) But I am discouraged that the defending cup winners could not fill their stadium on a clear, warm, beautiful opening night. The reason: location, location, location. DSG Park is located in the middle of a giant parking lot in the middle of fucking nowhere. The parking situation is great until 17,000 fans want to leave all at the same time, and there aren't many outlets. And without public transit options, you're not getting in or out without the use of a car. If they had been trying to find a way to keep fans away from the winning team they love, they couldn't have done a better job. The Rapids and their fans simply deserve more accessibility to go along with the stadium's terrific design. Oh, one other gripe: DSG's slogan "everything starts at dicks" sounds like it should be on a pro-life billboard. That's not really the stadium's fault. I see now how fortunate I am that my home field is 15 minutes away by bike or light rail, and right across the street from the Bitter End Pub. Every MLS stadium should be so lucky.

Yelp
This was a great location and the grounds were very clean. The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful! There is plenty of parking on these grounds. There are nearby restaurants that are very tasty!

Yelp
I think this venue always puts on a great game. Just like any stadium pro-game the food is over priced, but I like it for the experiences. One thing I greatly admire about this venue and the Rapid's organization is that they have Special "Olympic" teams play after the game. Even though it is late they still put on a game with the national anthem and fire works the same as they do for the Rapid's. Today I saw the Rapid's play Kansas City and after the game the Special "Olympic" Rapid's played the Special "Olympics" Kansas team. I really admire that and think it is so amazing that this venue supports the Special Needs community. I will continue to support the Rapid's for the way they support all athletes no matter their ability.

Yelp
Phish came to our town and helped us party down for three nights out at Dick's over Labor Day weekend last summer. Dick's seems to be a first class sports complex and it's actually a pretty great music venue as well. Here are some highlights: - Friendly staff and reasonable security - Loads of dancing space and awesome sound in the bleachers straight in front of the stage - Conveniently located and evenly spaced concessions, including separate vodka lemonade and beers stands - Decent variety of food options - Plenty of stalls in the ladies room so there were never any lines - Flush toilets available outside the stadium before the gates open (bonus!) - Plentiful parking My major complaint is the exorbitant $15.00 parking fee. The place is out in the middle of nowhere and there isn't any place else to park, so you have no choice but to pay it. All in all we had a superb time at Dick's. If I have to see a concert at a large venue, Dick's is fine by me.

Greg K.

Yelp
Probably the worst large venue to see any sort of concert . I saw Guns and Roses last week here and aside from not being able to see them despite having good tickets, they ran out of beer they ran out of food their computers went down several times the lines at the restrooms were agonizingly long, probably a good place to see soccer, but a terrible place to see any kind of concert.
google avatar

Miguel M.

Yelp
So beyond some lame copy (ctrl-c) paste (ctrl-v) job that the previous reviewer gave you from http://playcoed.com/location.php?id=245 I'd like to expand some thoughts about the fine Dick's Sporting Goods Park. Someone had some good foresight to know that soccer is going to be come more popular here in the States eventually. The Rapids got lucky to get a park that fits them instead of seeing a decent Rapids fan showing that only fill 15-20 rows of Invesco field. About DSGP its reminds me of a horse shoe seating with the majority of seats on the East, South and West sides. Every seat provides great views of the field. The lighting is perfect making the field look spectacular at night. The suites are cool they are lined against the West side of the field. Parking is easy and they do not charge, food and beverage is what you would expect from a large venue. Most of the seats are covered by a large overhang and there are more than just soccer games there i.e. concerts, benefits, fund-raisers and shows.

Eric H.

Yelp
These guys really sucked today at the Hella Mega concert. As they took parking fee of $20 it backed up from stadium to downtown. Everyone missed Weezer, but they still took your money till 7:30 pm. Concert started at 5:30.
google avatar

Shar S.

Yelp
Nice place for a tournament, festival, or any event! Have been here for all of the above. Very clean and orderly, but be careful of getting lost in the ginormous parking lots, lol. Could definitely use better signage.

Christopher S.

Yelp
Really cashless, why. I have Bill that are legal tender for goods and services. Dick's you suck.... well you know
google avatar

Roger G.

Yelp
I have been out to this venue a few times now to see different futbol type of events and concerts. I really like it. The seating is comfortable and the views are great. They have a bunch of concessions, wine and beer included. Don't bring your own food, they won't let you in with it. Parking can be confusing so make sure you know which side of the stadium you are sitting on so you know which side to park on. Hope to see you at some Rapids games.

August B.

Yelp
Where to start...the parking management is a complete disaster, even during the usual half sold Rapids matches. For games where the stadium charges for parking, it can take up to an hour just to get into the parking lot. Water fountains throughout the stadium don't work (and haven't for years), the jumbotron is routinely messed up, the PA system on the east side sounds like the speakers are full of grape soda, and the food and drink options are appalling, considering how most stadiums have graduated beyond gray burger meat and leathery pizza. The security is often poorly trained, rude, and changes its policies on a weekly basis. It doesn't help that there are very few public transportation options to the stadium and no real bars or restaurants nearby. As long as the weather holds up, you will probably have a decent time regardless of the quality of the team or the stadium, but you never walk away from Dick's thinking "wow, that stadium experience was great/good/average."
google avatar

Erin H.

Yelp
Sorry Dick's, but I can't give you any higher than a 3 because the parking situation is just a nightmare. There is no reason it should take 30 minutes to get to a parking space and almost an hour to get back out, when your stadium is not that big. We spent almost as much time dealing with the parking cluster* as we did inside enjoying the Rapids game. And, the stadium wasn't even close to being full/sold out. The parking situation is really unfortunate, considering the stadium itself is beautiful. Every seat gives you a good view of the field. Even the bleacher seats are fairly comfortable, at least the ones with backs. The night we went, the people behind us were annoyingly obnoxious, but the game wasn't sold out so we easily moved to other seats and truly enjoyed ourselves. Food was plentiful and there was some variety in the offerings. My friend hit the Italian Ice cart a couple of times. I practically inhaled my order of mini donuts with chocolate dipping sauce. And, they actually let me keep my cap when I ordered a bottled Coke Zero (being used to the Pepsi Center this was a nice surprise). Replays were easy to see on the jumbotron. The crowd was into the game and avidly cheering on the home team. In short, the experience was just about everything you could want out of a professional soccer game, except for that damn parking... It would be most excellent if one day lightrail came this way.
google avatar

Sherri K.

Yelp
This is one of the best arena's for sprting events I have visited in a long time. Whether Rec or competitive or even Pro - this venue is top of the line. My daughter's soccer team played their first tournament of the season here this past weekend, and I am impressed. The fields are premier. The staff is professional and truly on their game. My experience here made me want to get Rapids season tickets. Exemplary site. Decent parking for all the fields - very accessible. And the Cantina has $3 beers - Waaaaat - stop the presses.
google avatar

Frances H.

Yelp
This venue is downright beautiful. A little far out there, but considering the facilities, space, and design of the structure - it's actually a pretty great destination for any sporting or music event. The roofing to simulate the Rockies is a nice touch, but what really impressed me was the transformation the venue underwent for the Dave Matthews concert. I order to avoid drunk fools trampling the pristine soccer grass, they cover the massive field in a plastic type material that serves as a great platform for the General Admission folk. There was never a shortage of beer vendors with quite a variety of booze. Strongbow, Sierra Nevada, Coors Lite, PBR, and more! And at the end of the night when maybe you've had one too many, there is a somewhat organized, smoothly run taxi line so it isn't a mad, cattle dash to get a taxi. I say Dicks' is worth the drive!
google avatar

Shana M.

Yelp
I've spent a lot of time out here in these numbered fields and I can tell you it can be damn confusing finding them. However, I really enjoy this park. I love the stadium. It's a great view no matter where you sit. I'm a rugby girl so it is awesome watching the games here. Downfall...out in the boonies.
google avatar

Ryan H.

Yelp
No bad seat in the house. It's a great, family friendly place to watch a soccer match, concert, or any other event. Parking is never bad and the customer service is top notch. Food selections are good and the team is amazing.
google avatar

Joey T.

Yelp
Ahhh the sweet sweet smell of commerce city. Oh how I love to just take random drives on 270 to take in the industrial sites and smell the glorious nectar. And now I actually have a reason to go there! This Park is great and the box seats are really nice. I wish there was more soccer to enjoy!
google avatar

Derek H.

Yelp
If you go to an event here, leave yourself over an hour of time after the event to get out of the parking lot. There's only one exit and they don't do any traffic control. Having said that, this is a very nice facility with convenient parking and good food vendors. The place is kept clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
google avatar

Nat S.

Yelp
Went to a concert here in Sept. I am not the biggest Phish fan, but it would have been much better in a smaller venue. Dick's sucks to see live music at. The sound was actually better outside the venue, than inside. You also have to pay for parking, and drinks are like 10$ for a crappy 12 oz Bud. My cousin camped here and seemed quite happy, but who the hell wants to camp in the middle of a parking lot, and it cost 100$ to do that for the weekend. Really sterile and industrial, the whole experience lacked charm. I would never go see music there again. Maybe sporting events are better? I will give them two stars instead of one, because arenas are made for sports, not music. That being who in their right mind says- lets have a concert here. Do yourself a favor, and don't go see music at Dicks.
google avatar

Rob T.

Yelp
Boy, Man, God...Phiiiiiiiiiiiiish! I've seen 9 concerts here, a handful of soccer games and kick ball tournaments on the outer fields. It's just a fantastic facility, there are plenty of concessions and bathrooms. Great sight lines from everywhere in the stadium, plenty of close parking. Even the staff is fantastic. Only downside is it's in Commerce City, but I wont hold that against them.
google avatar

Bobby Y.

Yelp
Great views, great atmosphere, nice modern facilities...but that's where it stops. This place couldn't be further from civilization than perhaps DIA. While there's plenty of parking, the local police are overwhelmed when the event lets out, and they have no viable traffic control plan. Plan on enjoying the sights of Commerce City ghetto as you wait to drive home. Also, what clown designed the layout, there's almost always fans stuck staring at the sun for day or dusk matches. I can see where they wanted a view of the mountains, but you can't see them anyways if there's sun glare staring you in the face from the east stands. While they have a lot of parking, much of it is still unpaved.
google avatar

Yelp
A great complex! Taking off one star simply for the fact that leaving this place can be extremely difficult. More on that later.... As a partial season ticket holder for the Rapids, I've been here a decent amount of times. The stadium is great. The design seems unique compared with other venues I've been to. The atmosphere is fun. From what I can tell, there's not a bad seat in the place. My 10th row seat is amazing. I can see what's going on and really get into and enjoy the game. There are gates all around the outside of the stadium so getting into and out is not that difficult, even with all the people walking around. Parking is included with the tickets, which is nice because unlike all the other sporting venues in Denver, the light rail does not go here. That being said, it can be pretty difficult to leave the parking areas. The traffic situation doesn't seemed to have been planned out quite as nicely as the stadium. I am one of the first to make it to my car and I sit in traffic for 15-35 minutes everytime I try to leave. I was there for the 4th of July, which brought a bigger crowd than usual and I sat in my car for over an hour without ever moving trying to leave. So, stadium, field, atmosphere.. all great! Exiting.. could use some figuring out!

Yelp
This is a great stadium for soccer in Denver. It was amazing the Rapids were able to get their own place. Right before the economy went down, woo hoo!! Note, there are a few cities right now that can not afford a new arena or stadium, look at Seattle losing the Sonics. We are lucky to have modern venues for our teams. The stadium is not big, but it is the right size for soccer crowds. I am taking one star because the stadium does not have an excellent location. Still, the experience is good. Weather during the Rapids season is usually great. Stands are close to the pitch. Fans generally have a closer view to the game than Broncos fans at Invesco Field. Soccer is not for everyone, that is clear. But this is a great venue for the Rapids It is family friendly and you avoid unpleasant things like Raiders fans, lol.

Yelp
This place is awesome but please send the ex-navy seal security guard to the visitors section or something. =)

Yelp
This is a fantastic soccer stadium. Concessions are reasonable for sporting event prices. FREE and ample parking! Many access gates into the stadium. Ample food stands but I wish they'd get a burrito vendor! You get more beer to choose from than just "bud," like tecate, guniess, and a few others!! woo hoo!! GO RAPIDS, CO LOVES YOU!

Yelp
It's a lovely place except for how it's run. At the recent Lacrosse World Championship tournament, everyone was charged $10 to park, per day, just to park in a dirt field - even if they were there to see 1 game of 14 year olds. For some families with kids on different schedules, they ended up having to pay $80 or more just to park for that event over the course of the event, let alone the ticket costs to get into the featured games. The concessions are terrible... unless you like $8 hot dogs and popcorn for a meal. Considering half the people there are playing sports, maybe it would be good to attempt something reasonably nutritional. I wasn't allowed to use a water fountain because it was in a "staff zone" even though the same area was a public space previous weekends. I needed to take medicine but couldn't, thanks to their denial of a sip of water. I was pointed to the concession stands charing $6 for some bottled H20. And it sometimes smells like the dump next door. But to also recognize the positive, they did find a sponsor who adequately represents the experience you might find when visiting. After visiting you'll surely remember your encounters with Dicks.

Yelp
So we came here for the USA vs. Costa Rica WC qualifying game last Friday. Conditions? Snowy. Fans? Enthusiastic. Game??? WE WON!!!! So that's going to positively bias my review, but you'll get over it. :-) The stadium was clean and entry was efficient. There were bathrooms all over the stadium, so I never felt like I had to walk a mile to get to one, which is a plus. I thought the stadium did a good job handling the crowd that night. Wish the parking was a little cheaper - twenty bucks is a little much. Concessions were decent. I wish there were public transportation out here, but maybe that's in the future? Overall, the stadium seemed well built, clean, comfortable, and the USA WON!!!

Yelp
Rapids beat the Galaxy. So there. (This has no bearing on the review yet I feel the need to throw it out there anyway.) Great venue overall. I've been here for a few Rapids games, and even worked a few high school championship matches here. This last excursion found me in the second row with a fantastic view and comfortable seating. The whole park has a spread out feel to it so I don't seem as cramped as I do in others. There's plenty of room to move around. And it's small enough to provide a good view from any seats. The main problem is concessions. Without a doubt the slowest people I've ever seen working. Saturday we waited for 20 minutes for one guy to pour a total of 6 beers for us and the the 2 groups of 2 ahead of us. When we tried for another round at a different stand, it took so long that beer sales were actually cut off before at least 10 people could get an order in. That was pretty horrible. Concessions aside, I really like this venue. It's got a great atmosphere for LA to lose......errr I mean to watch a soccer match.

Yelp
Heads up this review is for a recent concert, not a Rapids game (though I've heard nothing but awesome things about those, so I must check one out). Of course it's no Red Rocks, but it's still a nice concert venue. Really easy to navigate, parking is good (and ample!) and there's lots of choices in terms of concessions. We went for a concert last weekend and we had GA field tickets, so we got pretty close to the action. For a soccer game, I bet the reserved seats are good, but with the stage at one end of the field, I can't imagine you'd get a great view if you sat in the stands to see a show. Getting out of the parking lot proved to be a bit of a cluster-f**k, but not enough to make me not want to go again. All in all a nice outdoor venue - I'll for sure have to check out a game sometime, but for concerts Dick's Sporting Goods Park gets a solid three-stars.

Yelp
DSG Park is a really nice place to watch soccer, great sightlines and decent concessions and how could you go wrong with your own sportsbar, the Cantina. They did a great job of building this field. It's not built in the familiar fashion that most soccer stadiums throughout the world are built and that can be good and bad at the same time. It's not the largest stadium in Major League Soccer, but then again Denver's soccer fanbase is still growing when you compare it to other places in the league like Toronto or Los Angeles. It has one of the largest fields in the league and other organizations across the globe are taking notice of the facilities. DSG Park has hosted international teams as well as our own US national teams. The best soccer stadium in the state by far. Now if only the Rapids would follow suit.

Yelp
We Love Dicks!! Just went and saw Phish here over last weekend and let me tell you it was great!! The sound is great here for a show and most everyone that works here is very nice. Lots of bathrooms and easy to get in and out the only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars and not 5 is because for show you have to pay for parking??? I have been to games and parking is free. So why do I have to pay for parking at a venue when I bought a ticket?? Not really sure but it was $15 each night and VIP is $30 a night:( So it really cuts into the drinking budget for the weekend. So Dicks what up with the paying to park at a show?

Yelp
Not a bad seat in the house! I'm not a big fan of the "supporters" section but you can find great deals on seats and they all provide awesome views of the field. Beers aren't as overpriced as the other sports either, +1 star for that alone! ...if only it wasn't so far in the middle of no where.

Yelp
I can not even believe the poor communication and complete incompetence that I witnessed today. nThe website currently says that the box office is closed and all tickets will be electronically delivered. Then When I purchased tickets for Phish a couple days ago there was not even an option to select electronic tickets and "Will Call" was the only option. I scoured the website for info and called the box office (and left a message) 4 times in the last 2 days. In one place it says that the box office opens everyday at 10 AM. In another place it says it will open at 12PM day of "the event" and like I said earlier it also says the box office won't be open at all. Well I just drove in traffic for 40 minutes to get to the box office at 12:30 today only to find out it won't open until 4PM!!!!!!!! On a Friday of a holiday weekend and the first day of a 3 day run. I am unable to go to the show tonight and am giving my tickets to friends and now I have to GO BACK DURING RUSH HOUR ON A FRIDAY to wait in line and deal with parking lot traffic etc... all because ALL OF THE INFO ON THE WEBSITE IS WRONG!!!!!!!

Yelp
The only downside to this complex is where it is. It would be great if you could ride lite rail here. Nevertheless it's a wonderful venue. ~ Not a bad seat to be had. ~ Ample bathrooms and food/drink vendors. ~ Ample parking and free. A great experience & venue. Now if only more people would support the Rapids!

Yelp
I attended my first soccer game last night and it was fantastic! I'm sure all the things I have to say don't apply to all events held at Dick's Sporting Goods Park but I'll tell you my thoughts anyways. - parking is free and plentiful. Always a plus and must. - the park itself is small enough to easily find your friends if you get split up and still big enough to avoid the annoying people you accidentally invited. (I actually haven't tried the latter, but I imagine it's easily doable.) - lots of bathrooms = no lines. Great for over active bladders, particularly when drinking. - bathrooms are clean. - now for the downside. Getting out of the park was more difficult than expected. It's always expected at any kind of sport/concert venue but where did the 50 million traffic directors we saw when we drove in go? Cause that would've probably made the process a lot easier! Just sayin.
