DID IT MY WAY DETROIT CIGAR & WINE BAR

1st off, this is NoT a hit on any other cigar lounge. I visit every cigar lounge in metro detroit, frequently!! Different spots have different vibes. I enjoy them all with different expectations. This newer cigar lounge screams VIP upon entering. THIS was my choice for tonight's mood. Soooo, this night was my alone, chill time. No live band, loud DJ, or motorcycles with annoying radios. To view the humidor for that spectacular choice, paired with an equally amazing libation, was MY destiny. I chose the esthetically inviting bar to sit. Staff was friendly & very attentive. For the serious cigar enthusiast, this is a must stop when in downtown detroit.

By far one of the best cigar bars I’ve ever been to. The humidor had a variety of choices, the drink was made to perfection (ask for Wolf, he is awesome!) and the vibe and conversation was top notch. I will be traveling back to Detroit just to visit this place

Literally sitting here got served raw biscuit and overly fried chicken. Chicken looks raw. No seasoning My date ordered this food not me. Drinks mediocre. Bar tender just asked me how was everything and I told him no and he walked away. Cool whatever. First time here. This is definitely my type of atmosphere but with the trash food and mediocre drinks I don't see myself coming.

A new hotspot immaculate, contemporary, and thoughtfully curated. The cigar selection is excellent, with prices that feel just right. The God of Fire line alone is worth the visit. Sarah and Kendra have a gift for hospitality they make you feel like a long-time regular, even on your first visit. If they expand their niche whiskey selection, this place could easily become the premier lounge experience in Detroit.

This might be my new go to spot downtown for a drink and a cigar. Love the ambiance inside it is very classy and upscale! They have a great cigar selection and the drinks were creative and flavorful. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is beautiful the food was just okay - we got the chicken wings and they were very fatty and felt like they came out of a Tyson bag. Overall though this spot is amazing and will be recommending it to my friends and family! Cannot wait to come back.

From the moment I opened the doors I knew I had fallen in love with my new favorite place for dinner or just a night out. This place is so aesthetically pleasing I could not stop taking pictures of everything in there. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and the staff is very attentive and made the best recommendations. The bathrooms are nice with these huge full length gorgeous mirrors which the girls will definitely love for their bathroom pics. There's also a beautiful fire place inside that I loved sitting by to stay warm. I mean you could have a full on photo shoot in the place and not be disappointed. If you're looking for a pleasant and soothing ambiance with delicious food and more, this is where you need to be and it will become addicting.

Had some time so was looking around the map and found this cigar lounge. Drinks and cigars are on my list of things that make me smile. What really sets I Did It My Way apart was the Salmon.. so good! The vibe is great! Drinks terrific and service is tops Don’t be like me and pull at the door when it clearly says PUSH 😆 Well worth a visit! Sandra took great care of me 👍

I'd start by saying it's hard to find a Cigar Bar downtown that checks all the boxes when it comes to cigar selection, service, drinks and food. This place misses on a few marks. The Cigar selection is okay. I'm sure it might cater to the casual smokers, but if you like specialty sticks then I'd recommend bringing your own. They have a cut fee of $10 per cigar if you bring your own sticks so be aware of that. As for the drinks. The liquor selection is definitely lacking. Not many scotch and bourbon options at all, they have the bare minimum which for a cigar car is disappointing. The girls ordered an espresso martini each and one came out different than the other which lead to some confusion between us, the server, and bartender. Once that was sorted out, instead of remaking it, they just reshook the martini with the coffee beans still in it so you were stuck with little coffee bean bits inside your drink. Not very enjoyable. Also the other Espresso Martini had 7 beans in it which was a bit strange as well and is a small detail but details mater when it comes to customers experience. The food menu isn't something to brag about, and it's my understanding some of the options aren't available which is disappointing. I do recommend the ice cream though, it's sourced from a local spot. As for service, the first time was dissppointing / almost non-existent and service was extremely slow when we did order a drink. BUT I will say this last time our server was great. She made sure we were taken care of and helped sort out the drink issue which was appreciated. The ashtray though was starting to overfill a bit and not addressed which all ties back to details that contributed to customer experience especially if you're at a place for a few hours. The decor is nice, and the music can be loud at times and when it's busy the noise level is very high but it's a cigar bar and that's to be expected. They do charge an automatic gratuity to your bill and if the service isn't up to par it feels like you're being taken advantage of. This place does have potential and I'm sure some customers have a good time. Unfortunately it just wasn't the case for myself and the people I was with.
