This place is where the magic happens! French kitchen at its best. Very good Price-Quality ratio. Not cheap but reasonable prices for outstanding food and service. No wonder this one has a Michelin guide star!

After a Long moto trip from Paris, my husband and I arrived in this old place, and we felt like we had traveled in time. The Hotel has kept all the charm from the old walls, and is situated above a very nice park. The rooms are comfy and spacious, and the Restaurant offers a very fine cuisine, traditional and original at the same time. The tenants are the most helpful and friendly. This is definitely a place we'd like to visit again. Probably the best in the area. Finally, the Price is more than reasonable. Really a great surprise. Thank you, Mr and Mrs Dauphin!

That's a restaurant that gives you an experience, not just food. One of the best meals in europe for me. I have been to a few Michelin guide restaurants, this one is the best in it's price range. They have a nice wine collection. The owners are french, it's a perfect french delicacy experience. I will be back definitely!

I spend one night in this old school hotel. Room was huge and clean. Bathroom was normal size and shower in bathtub which is not the best solution. Atmosphere is unique in old building. Sleeping quality high. Breakfast was good. Lack of WIFI in 2017 is not good at all. Value anyhow is good for money.

Well. I had a marvellous meal here - with some thoughtfully inventive, well judged, generous cooking - with a good night's sleep to follow in one of the spacious, warm, clean rooms above the restaurant. I liked the shabby-chic effect and vintage furniture... If you need perfectly square rooms with perfectly flat floors and perfectly colour coordinated decor this may not be the place for you, but I'd take an imperfection or two for the pleasure of waking up with an oak tree right next to the window...and for the feeling that everyone in the place really genuinely cared that I should have as nice a time there as possible

Wir waren mittags im Restaurant und haben uns für das Business Menü entschieden. Eine wunderbare Wahl! Phantasievolle Präsentation der Gerichte, tolle Kompositionen und geschmacklich perfekt. Der Service war ebenfalls perfekt und nie aufdringlich. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder, allerdings dann abends und werden uns dann auf ein großes Menü freuen! Tolle Performance, weiter so!👍🍀🫶

Ich kann nur das Restaurant bewerten da wir dort kein Zimmer gebucht hatten. Vor dem Lokal auf der Straße dachte ich: " oh Gott, hier gibt es doch nur Schnitzel und Pommes in altem Fett"....... Aber ......weit gefehlt. Im Hinterhof befindet sich die Tür zum kulinarischen Highlight. Hier wird Küche auf höchstem Niveau geboten und mit Liebe und Interesse am Gast serviert. Jeder Gang wurde ausführlich erklärt, auf Änderungswünsche am Menü wurde mit einer herrlichen Selbstständigkeit eingegangen. Es war unser erstes Mal dort ( aber nicht das letzte Mal) , wir wurden aber so zuvorkommend und liebevoll empfangen als ob man uns kennen würde. Das Essen? Großartig. Bisher habe ich im Saarland nichts vergleichbares gefunden. Sehr viel Liebe und Fingerfertigkeit. Viele unglaubliche Geschmacksexplosionen. Die Männer am Tisch haben erst etwas dezent geschaut wegen der überschaubaren Portionen in einem acht Gänge Menü, waren aber alle satt und zufrieden. Größer hätten die Portionen aufgrund der Geschmacksexplosion gar nicht sein dürfen. Ich hoffe dass das junge Küchenteam Anklang und Unterstützer findet. Die Anzahl der Köche die noch mit ganzem Herzen und Freude am Kochen für andere findet sind auf diesem hohen Niveau selten
