Die Alte Brauerei

My wife and I ate at the restaurant in this lovely hotel tucked away from the main road. We have been to many fine dining restaurants over the years, including ones with 1-3 Michelin stars. If you enjoy this kind of cuisine (where tweezers are as important as knives), It is not an exaggeration to say you must eat here immediately because once they get a star (and they will, soon) it will be almost impossible to get a reservation. We both ordered the shorter set menu with the wine pairing. Usually in other restaurants there is something about one of the courses that does not go perfectly- an imbalanced flavor or good idea not executed correctly. Not the case here. Everything from the amouse bouche to the final dessert was exquisite. The wine pours were generous and perfectly matched with the courses. Lorena and Paula gave us excellent service through the wonderful evening. Overall it was an unforgettable experience that will stay with you for a long time. I am only posting a few pictures to not spoil the surprise. The menu changes every few months. Chef Florian and his wife Lorena have a true gem with Die Alte Brauerei and dream of earning stars. I have no doubt they will reach their goal. We will definitely be back, likely with a hotel stay.

Tasty meals and great ambiance.

That's a restaurant that gives you an experience, not just food. One of the best meals in europe for me. I have been to a few Michelin guide restaurants, this one is the best in it's price range. They have a nice wine collection. The owners are french, it's a perfect french delicacy experience. I will be back definitely!

After a Long moto trip from Paris, my husband and I arrived in this old place, and we felt like we had traveled in time. The Hotel has kept all the charm from the old walls, and is situated above a very nice park. The rooms are comfy and spacious, and the Restaurant offers a very fine cuisine, traditional and original at the same time. The tenants are the most helpful and friendly. This is definitely a place we'd like to visit again. Probably the best in the area. Finally, the Price is more than reasonable. Really a great surprise. Thank you, Mr and Mrs Dauphin!

This place is where the magic happens! French kitchen at its best. Very good Price-Quality ratio. Not cheap but reasonable prices for outstanding food and service. No wonder this one has a Michelin guide star!

I spend one night in this old school hotel. Room was huge and clean. Bathroom was normal size and shower in bathtub which is not the best solution. Atmosphere is unique in old building. Sleeping quality high. Breakfast was good. Lack of WIFI in 2017 is not good at all. Value anyhow is good for money.

Well. I had a marvellous meal here - with some thoughtfully inventive, well judged, generous cooking - with a good night's sleep to follow in one of the spacious, warm, clean rooms above the restaurant. I liked the shabby-chic effect and vintage furniture... If you need perfectly square rooms with perfectly flat floors and perfectly colour coordinated decor this may not be the place for you, but I'd take an imperfection or two for the pleasure of waking up with an oak tree right next to the window...and for the feeling that everyone in the place really genuinely cared that I should have as nice a time there as possible
