Absolutely delightful experience with delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. Super affordable with no corkage charge for bringing your own drinks. Beautiful setting with wonderful people and vibe, including the live guitarist who serenades you throughout. I'll definitely be back, with friends! I think it would be an especially lovely place to bring friends who don't know the Cape, because it's a wonderful experience of tastes, sights and sounds to truly show off the Cape style!

What a great 1st experience. Highly recommendable if you love seafood and rustic atmosphere right by the water. 1st ever 10 courses eaten. Come hungry and be pleasantly surprised and leave content

This spot is pure seafood heaven! If you’re in the West Coast area, it’s definitely worth a visit. There’s a huge amount of food, so come hungry—and if seafood’s not your thing, this probably isn’t the place for you. The vibe is fantastic, with live music and friendly staff. I loved their quirky paper plate concept and the no-cutlery rule—using a mussel shell as a spoon was such a fun touch! Plus, there’s a beachside bar with drinks and stunning views.

This is a great experience. Sea food in all its glory. However, felt like our experience was a little rushed-they combined meal 7and 8. I guess it was due to the weather(rain). Even so, it was a great experience. Perfect for an outing with family or friends. The view by the beach is incredible, and the staff is forever smiling, and friendly.

It’s a lovely experience if you’ve never experienced it before, nice way to try a variety of seafood for one price - although some fish was overcooked it was still enjoyable. You get so much food you won’t want to eat after leaving. There is lovely entertainment & the staff are very welcoming & accommodating. Stunning views too!

If you love seafood and making new friends in a relaxed atmosphere, then a visit to the strandloper is a must. Just an hour outside of Cape Town located in Langebaan, make at least 4 hrs available to enjoy a 10 course feast lovingly prepared for your enjoyment.

An extraordinary seafood experience. Servings are ten courses with 20 min breaks in between, dishes are prepared fresh and the atmosphere is light and jolly with the guitarist uncle Martin setting the mood. Come hungry!
