Really a lovely once-in-a-lifetime experience! Very rustic and that's what creates such a lovely atmosphere. Loved the guy going from table to table singing with his guitar :) All 10 courses were great and interesting to try out. Bathroom facility needs some serious attention, but other than that it was a lovely evening!

It was very nice, great on the beach. I would appreciate a newer unchipped non-rusted enamel mug to drink out of. Knives and forks would also be good. Otherwise, had a great time, service was great, everyone was friendly and looked like they were enjoying it. My favourite course was mussels and then the snoek.

What an awesome experience. Went there on a Saturday evening & had a fab time. Delicious 10 course meal with freshly baked bread & roosterbroodjies as well. Food was delicious & plentiful. There is no beverages on sale, so u need to bring your own refreshments. Awesome vibe, friendly welcoming service. Definitely recommend & will visit again

Wow.... what an experience! Loved the set up. You can bring own drinks and enjoy the ten course meal lovingly prepared by an enthusiastic crowd. Awesome sunset as we did dinner and were so happy we did. Weather was great! Enjoyed everything except the fish curry and the crayfish that was definitely frozen for too long. Over and above that... magical evening withvery full tummies. 😍😍😍

What an amazing day we had at De Strandloper. The Cape Wind blew but it did not spoil the amazing experience! The food was delicious and authentic and the atmosphere was amazing. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The musician who came and sang for us was the icing on the cake! Well done to everyone, this is highly recommended!

10 course of meal was too much to eat. 2kinds of instant bakes bread were really delicious. If you had too much than your course you can not have. Myself after 3 course of meal, I was already full and rest of course was not try. It's beach front, you can bring own drink with ice box, also you can buy basic beer or drinks at beach bar. It's upset temporary shak shade quite hot, you need good sun protection. Place is on beach, beautiful. But as a temporary structure, toilet is construction temporary toilet if you really kin of toilet you can not go. 😅 3 of us enjoyed place. Food was fresh.. for me best was braai bookies??? (may be spelling wrong) that's best part of my meal. Chili tomato jam was beautiful. Pineapple jam also impressive. Was good experience once a life time.

Thank you staff at Strandloper for excellent service,antie Jesse received us with welcoming smile. I appreciated the fact that there is a no smoking regulation in place even though it is open air,smokers is told to smoke in designated areas to respect others.Well worth the hour and a half drive and the fact that you can bring your own beverages is a bonus. Only downer is you cant pack in what you cant finish especially being a 10 course meal and all,some can't finish till the end line and the ablution block could do with upgrade. Uncle Donny brings that old school vibe with the strings and melodies that takes you back in time when sitting next to a fire awaiting the potjiekos or braai the grown ups would entertain with talented musical vibes and that being said without current day usb speaker boxes and such it would be pure blissful talent. Any given time 👌👍
