Cool little local brewery. Small, fun, and very inviting. If u like a hard seltzer, come here because the purple drink is great! They host meetings there for different topics. Their outdoor spot would be nice to sit at because it faces a small local park. The IPAs are really good too!

Google
This is both my after work and my neighborhood brewery, and I couldn't be happier with it. They have a varied and constantly rotating tap list, and a steady schedule of special events. The staff is great, and there's always a beer for everyone's taste. I love hanging out with my neighbors (both human and the furry four-legged kind) at Diebolt!

Google
Nice bar, interesting seasonal beer. Neko rice bear is bright and light summer, Gebroni pony sweet on the front and mild bitter in the back, imperial stout was too sweet for my taste, dandelion was very mouth full of taste, light and full bodied, hard seltzer quite tasty. B Cowboy IPA not too bitter but one note compared to others.

Google
What a great place! First and foremost this brewery has delicious beers and seltzers! What we love equally about our experiences here are the owners and staff, everyone was so helpful, kind, patient, and "chill". Positive good vibes flowing. When we learned that you can book the back rooms for private events, We chose this venue to host our Holiday Party and I could not have been more pleased. We had over 100 people, our set up included food tables, tables with chairs, and coolers with water; there was more than enough space to mingle. The projector and screen was perfect in setting a nice backdrop. We put together a collage of photos and videos highlighting great moments over the last year that looped during our event. The acoustics were surprisingly excellent! We will continue to stop in to try new batches of beer and seltzers and will definitely use this venue again for private parties.

Google
Diebolt brewing is a smaller “neighborhood feeling” taproom located in the Sunnyside neighborhood. We have found ourselves here more often lately due to work schedules and their expanded later night hours that aren’t always easy to find on some days of the week here in Denver. The staff is always friendly and fun and willing to offer their suggestions if you aren’t sure what you are in the mood for. And the beer? It’s also fantastic. (Anton Francis, their French Amber Ale being one of my favorites.) Not a beer drinker? Their hard seltzers are also great, with the current Oh Yeah! – Purple Hard Seltzer being one of the best they have had! (At 6.8% ABV, after a few of these, imagine yourself yelling the name of this seltzer, as even you will possibly be entering the room through a brick wall…) I wanted to give a shout out to one of their beertenders Mike who went above and beyond during our past visit. We intended to bring some beer home, and unfortunately, another guest cleared the fridge of the to-go Anton’s. Mike went on a mission to come up with at least a 6-pack, and came back successfully! PS – I highly recommend you find and follow them on Instagram if you haven’t already! You will soon see why they are number 1 in the nation for personality. (However, I also believe that may be a self-given title or award...) Friendly Staff, Personality, and Great Beers - what more could you ask for?

Google
Great local vibe. Fantastic service. Everything you can ask for a brewery. Great beer names and staff.

Google
I knew nothing about these guys before I stopped in, but definitely one of their biggest fans now. 2023 Bronze winner for their barrel aged imperial stout, amazing beer, well deserving. Great job guys.

Google
Stopped in on my neighborhood brewery for the first time this afternoon. Was really impressed by the selection and quality of the offerings. Vladislav was the big winner- make sure you sample that. Great music selection and vibe too

Yelp
What a great gem in Sunnyside/the Highlands. Super friendly and knowledgeable. I talked at length with the owner about beer and a number of other breweries (both local and out-of-state). Electric Cowboy WC IPA Crisp, earthy, just the right amount of bitter. This is a really good WC. Don't let the 85 IBU scare you. It's approachable and worth a try. Big Michigan Mack IPA A great combination of hops, including Mackinac, Paradigm, and Copper. The aroma is clean and fresh, like a summer meadow. It starts a little sweet and finishes slightly bitter. Motley Hue (fruited wheat) Slightly tart. The golden berries round out the flavor. This is a collab with Lady Justice and it's a refreshing summer brew.

Yelp
Got a "flight" so we could try some beers. This place is pretty hidden, fairly small, but could tell a loyal fan base. A father and son started it, I actually met the father! He was very nice. Let us try a beer, I believe the stout, that we didn't get in the flight. It really wasn't too busy when we were there. Great conversation and we felt like family. Beers weren't to my liking, I'm more of a saison and sour girl, but the amber, stout, and lager we did try was decent!
google avatar

Rachael H.

Yelp
So I finally made it to Diebolt, after loving the Electric Cowboy from afar for so long. And it just so happened to be Sidecar Sunday, so I got a 3oz Cowgirl as a companion. Good beer and good vibes in Sunnyside. Service was friendly, prompt, and chill. Highly recommend. Oh, and there's ping pong!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place lots of variety when it comes to beer whatever your favorite style is they've probably got it. Large bar plus plenty of high-top and when the weather permits outdoor picnic-table seating. Outdoor and indoor is dog friendly.
google avatar

Jay C.

Yelp
Great food truck outside and fantastic spot with the boys. Even got to meet the owner!
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
Follow them on instagram for updates on when they will be tapping a new beer! Great rotation for the seasons while also keeping the usuals on the menu. Small patio out front open in the summer and they'll have food trucks every once in a while. Perfect for sunnyside neighborhood residents!

Yelp
A Sunnyside neighborhood & locals favorite brewery. Located on the outskirts of the city. We walked to and from this location and it was a nice little outing for us. A nice trip on a hot n thunder-stormy day. The evaporating sprinkles felt great while it cooled us off a bit. Making it more manageable to sit outside on their weather warped picnic benches. It was pretty happenin' inside with many socializing with their moderately sized group of friends. Looks like they have themed meetups here as many guests were dressed in fun, vibrant & spunky attire. The guests complimented our shirts and welcomed us while also recommending us to try their favorite brew. An animal friendly venue and some might even be roaming around greeting everyone while off-leash. They were well behaved so I didn't mind them checking us out too. They also had a food truck Big Belly Brothers BBQ. We shared a sandwich and it was very moist and flavorful. We had the tasting flight and enjoyed pretty much everything that we tried & because we favored the lager that's what we decided to linger a bit longer with. Sipping on a pint and enjoying the people the, pups, good food and ambiance. *The only thing we didn't like was the playlist the manager had on. Music that is derogatory and objectifies women, in very explicit language, will never fit my vibe. While inside you couldn't hear the actual words so much because everyone socializing muted over the music. But where we sat outside the lyrics were crisp and clear. I like places where people are singing along with the jams and are socializing albeit at the same time. This didn't feel like that was true for the day we visited. I wanted to try some of their archived brews of their past. They keep the old menus on display (which looks like lots of luv went into decorating them) so those boards became nice art pieces throughout the back hall area. Pretty Cool place.

Yelp
I always enjoy Diebolt. Their beer is very tasty and they have a cool atmosphere that is ideal for hanging out. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and they're dog friendly. They also have changing tables in the bathroom, which is a huge plus if you're grabbing a beer with a little one in diapers! The bartenders have been friendly every time I've been in as well. Finally, if you try a beer you really like you can take some home in a 6 pack!
google avatar

Eddie C.

Yelp
I enjoyed my visit to Diebolt. It was a good vibe in the taproom, good service too. I got a flight of five beers and three out of five were delicious. The other two not so much. But the 3 good ones saved the night.

Yelp
Small, local spot with unique beer options! I came here with a group of 5 on a Friday night before dinnertime and nearly every chair was taken. Seemed like a super local crowd with customers having conversations with the people behind the bar. Their menu is pretty big, so I was expecting to see more stouts and porters based on seasonality but sadly only saw a couple. With that said, what I did get -the Baltic Porter - was pretty good, as were all the other beers I tried from my group's pours. I'd come back for the chill vibe + to try some more of their unique choices!

Yelp
We stopped at Diebolt as we were passing through Denver. It's about four minutes off of I 70 with plenty of street parking. Nice mix of beer varieties including a fun Black IPA. Has a nice neighborhood feel with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Nice mix of beers with over six IPAs on the menu. Nice place to hang with friends and have a beer nice option if you're passing through and spending the night in Denver.

Yelp
Great brewery good beers specially friendly open air outside tables need a little work but other than that

Yelp
Diebolt Brewing Company was the perfect place to host my event! Jack was very accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. The space was set up with extra tables and chairs when we got there and Jack even stationed some games like ping pong, foosball and corn hole for our guests to play! Jack and the rest of his staff made our party feel very welcome and added to the celebratory energy. We had about 60 people coming in and out so having quick service is no easy feat, but jack and his team absolutely nailed it! The beer was delicious and service was super fast! They had plenty of options for beer, so everyone could find something they liked! My personal favorites were their IPAs. Jack also let us hire our own food truck to cater the event, which was a huge added bonus to our guests! I received a ton of great feedback from the guests about how cool the location was as well, which I have to second. Very happy I booked at Diebolt, we will definitely be back here again next year!

Yelp
Disappointed to say that I did not like any of the beers I tried here. I tried the Strawbigly, an IPA and a few others that I don't remember the names of, but I did not find any of them drinkable. I was also confused when I ordered the Strawbigly that it came in a can? Why aren't all your beers on tap?? I was here with a big group for a bachelorette party, and staff were nice and accommodating and there was ample space for us. I did like that they had a food truck out front where we were able to order some snacks. Overall, the taproom was nice and spacious, but was not a fan of the beer.

Yelp
Great happy hours with a nice range of drinks. The staff is friendly and the drinks hit the spot! The Mariposa was my favorite. We tried Populator, the taste is good (after a few sips) but it sure puts some hair on your chest. The brewery has a nice relaxed feel with some games so it's a very enjoyable time.

Yelp
After gorging myself at Bacon Social House, I decided to pop in to Diebolt Brewing Company and see what was on tap. Low and behold, I was the first patron in the door (followed shortly by three regulars) and they had three saisons and a gose on tap! Oh my lucky day! Service: The beertenders and who I'm assuming was one of the brewers were both so friendly! They made great conversation and also suggested the order I should sample my flight to ensure I got the best flavor out of each brew. They asked my opinion of the beers and genuinely wanted to know which I favored, while also discussing their favorites with me. Space: Is it safe to say I'm smitten with exposed brick?! Cause man everywhere I end up lately is covered in it and I LOVE it! The building is traditional red brick on the outside and inside behind the bar is some raw looking wood and grey painted cinder blocks along one of the other walls. The tap listing has each beer on it's own little chalkboard with art surrounding the names. Plenty of seating is offered both inside and they have a small patio space on what appears to be an old loading dock. Brews: I chose a sampler of four and opted for three saisons: Saison Voila, Rayon Solaire, Wiggy Wiggy, and ones gose: Reunion. They were all so unique! I love when a brewery offers a few options of each type/genre of brew. It really displays their talents as a brewery! Each of the saisons had very distinct flavors. Starting from the Saison Voila which was a great middle of the road sessionable flavor, to the Rayon Solaire which featured a more hoppy play on the genre, to my favorite the Wiggy Wiggy which was a honey hibiscus saison. Yum! The Reunion, which was the gose, is listed as having French sea salt and pink peppercorn notes but neither flavor over powers the other. Very well balanced! Eats: Like most breweries in the Denver area they do not have a kitchen. However they do have menus on hand for Denver Deep Dish (who I'm assuming also delivers to the brewery) for your beer drinking, sustenance needing, enjoyment. Diebolt Brewing Company was def a solid choice for my afternoon beer sipping enjoyment. Safe to say that I'll be back in the future!
google avatar

Markita L.

Yelp
This place was pretty laid back; the employees were really nice and the beer was pretty good. I had the wiggy wiggy saison. Very good. I would suggest this place for people who love to try different breweries and love beer.

Yelp
Of all the sunny side breweries out there, Diebolt is hands down the best. French inspired- they have some of the best Saisons I've sampled. They also have a variety of other crowd favorites, and are constantly rotating their beer menu, meaning anytime is a great time to come back, as it keeps things fresh and interesting every time! You also won't find a more friendly tap room staff, and the owners are absolutely fantastic as well. As far as the atmosphere- I love the more industrial look and feel, and they even have a game area in the back and live music from time to time. I got a chance to check out Hello Bourbon last night - and they absolutely crushed it! I hear that they play here from time to time- so definitely worth checking them out if you see they are playing here.

Yelp
I dug this place. We were here for a private event, but came early to get a few beers and check it out. They have a different set of beers than your average craft brew joint. French brews, barleywine and your more traditional IPAs, etc... I liked the Sunnyside Wheat & the Augmenter (French style spring beer). The front seating area is cozy, but plenty of tables and a big bar. The back area is really big and can accommodate quite a few people (maybe 100?). No parking lot, but tons of street parking. It also was a stop on a brew bus tour or something because as the day went on it was out the door PACKED with people!! Great joint. We go to the Bug Theater near(ish) this place, so I could see popping in before a show.
google avatar

Peter G.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere and good beer. Parking wasn't an issue even though it seemed busy. We got a pretzel, the Charlie Blackberry sour and the Wiggy Wiggy honey hibiscus saison, all of which were delicious!
google avatar

Lisa F.

Yelp
We have the 2018 Pub Pass and try out best to scope out places when we are in different neighborhoods. On the way to Pochitos as we were craving some serious enchiladas we stopped by Diebolt. The place inside is very modern, clean, and inviting. There is plenty of indoor seating as well as outdoor seating (but it was waaaay to hot for that on the day we visited). We ordered at the bar and sat at a table - two Pale Ale's both a little more malty than I tend to like them but very good. I was most impressed with the signage that Diebolt uses. It was quirky, creative, and super attractive indicating the beer itself. If I lived in the neighborhood I could totally see myself frequenting this spot - approachable, clean, and solid beer selections.

Yelp
I really liked Diebolt! I am glad there is a brewery in the Northeast section of Denver. The area can teeter towards being a nicer neighborhood or it could be slightly rough too. So with a brewery in the area instead an outright bar perhaps it will enhance the nice part more. I got something a bit different on my visit here. I got their French Ale which was delicious! The beer had a great bready and hopiness to it which was excellent! The beer had a great smoothness to it as well! The place is very close to The Original Chubby's restaurant so it would be an awesome idea to stop and have great beer and great Mexican food back to back!
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
Diebolt has a great chill vibe with cool laidback bartenders. Unfortunately for me they had no sours. I did try a wheat beer that had lilikoi. It was good, but too wheat heavy for my "I only like sour beer" tastebuds.
google avatar

James T.

Yelp
What a feel good place.. neighborhood brewery with all sorts of beers, food truck outside and an occasional burlesque show. Stop by and feel the vibez
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
Nice local vibe, cozy interior and a tasty and wide selection of beers. Affordable and friendly service. Not too busy on a Friday night and a food truck parked outside for your hunger needs. Typical brewery, but I'm so glad that we were able to check this place out.

T M.

Yelp
The owners and especially Mike the bartender offer up some of the best hospitality you'll find in a brew house! Oh and the beer is dynamite!!!
google avatar

Heather C.

Yelp
Good times at Diebolt Brewing! This place has a really nice neighborhood chill vibe. It's not a huge space, but we visited on a Tuesday in the early evening and they have plenty of tables and some room at the bar as well. They had a LOT of choices compared to some other neighborhood breweries I've seen, and the bartender was nice enough to let us try 3 or 4 different ones before we settled on a Hawaiian wheat beer. They seemed to have a lot of choices for the beer conniseur- French saisons and Belgian beers, all sorts of different styles. The Rainbow Lightning brewed with Mandarin Oranges was my favorite. They had some board games in the corner, and they seemed to have a lot of different events and things happening in the community too! Definitely worth a visit back again.
google avatar

Krystle T.

Yelp
Chill brewery with good beers. Every Monday, they offer a special brew that you can only buy one glass of because it's so limited. Happy hour $1 off pint.
google avatar

Roy H.

Yelp
I really dig Diebolt! Their French style saisons are magnifique! Denver's neighborhood breweries are really one of my favorite things to explore. Hop on a bike and ride over...acutally the most recent time I went my GF and I ran there from RiNo. The bar area is cozy. They also have space in the back brewing area for games/additional seating. Bar staff has always been very nice too. The standard beers are very tasty and the few times I have been in I have also enjoyed some really great seasonals.

David K.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Beers were good to very good, staff got OVERLY chippy because I forgot to wear my mask to the bar. I immediately complied and apologized, but his initial interaction was over the top. Pedestrian inside of the house, borderline boring, ho-hum patio.
google avatar

Jason J.

Yelp
Came here for a private event in the back room, but we had to come up front and get our own drinks. I tried a couple beers and so did my wife. Everything we tried was top notch and had great flavor. We started a tab and when we were leaving it was a madhouse with a line out the door, so it took forever to finish checking out. So try to come when they're not busy!
google avatar

D W.

Yelp
As has been said their beers are a bit on the eclectic side for my taste but, 'beer people' have great respect for their craftsmanship here. And it is a fun, friendly hideaway, a 'locals know about it' and love it kinda place. Get that outdoor dog friendly patio going and we'll drag people over there more often!
google avatar

Brittany H.

Yelp
On a rainy Saturday afternoon, Lisa H, James F, and I headed up the hill to check out one of Denver's newest breweries after reading several glowing reviews. We arrived to a full tap room, but not so full we couldn't find a seat amongst the several tables and the bar. We snagged a few seats around a table, grabbed a game of Trivial Pursuit, and ordered up a sampler flight of Diebolt's current 8 beers on tap. I'm glad we decided to split the sampler between all of us because that was seriously a lot of beer! Seriously good beer, to boot! It was hard to pick a favorite because each brew was indeed tasty. I really enjoyed the François and ordered a pint of it for myself. The other stand outs for me were the seasonal saisons and the porter. While I couldn't drink an entire pint, the experimental thyme beer was certainly memorable! Perhaps a little less thyme in a future brew would make it more palatable for me. For being so new, I was really impressed with Diebolt! The tap room is polished and welcoming and the staff is friendly and happy to have you visit. We definitely enjoyed spending a few hours sipping beers and playing board games here. I'll be back soon!
google avatar

Alex H.

Yelp
Cool brewery that you can sit down, stand, or play some foosball in the back area. I like their atmosphere and some of their beers. The bartenders were certainly friendly. If you like untraditional beers, this is your spot. If you like traditional beer, this brewery may be a no go. I personally wish they had more traditional ales (pales, farmhouse, etc.) rather than flavored beer. Overall cool brewery, just not for me.
google avatar

Carly B.

Yelp
Super nice people and a convenient location right off of 38th will put this brewery into our usual rotation. They haven't been open for very long but are already kicking out some consistently good brews. On our first visit, they only had three beers on tap: a wheat, a pale, and a porter. The son of the father/son Diebolt team explained that they were getting used to their new brewing equipment and cutting their teeth on some more standard and forgiving beers that can become year-round staples. Now they are beginning to do a bit more experimentation with a focus on French ales and saisons. The French ale (Anton Francois) serves as a great canvas upon which other flavors can be added. They had the Bier Thyme on tap when we visited this weekend which was described as a highly polarizing beer that people either love or hate (more hate) due to the overwhelming presence of thyme. I loved it. It took a few sips from my taster for me to get into it, but once I finished, I was ready for a ten ounce pour (and missed it when I moved onto the Autumnal Saison, which while solid, wasn't as crisp and bright as the Bier Thyme). They also brewed a Bier Lavender that I regrettably missed as it apparently went pretty fast. Prices are standard (about $5 for 16 ounce and $3.50 for 10 ounce pours) and they have a style for everyone. However, the rotating saisons and French ales are worth keeping an eye out for, especially if you're a saison lover like me. The space is nice and open and there are games available to play. You can also bring in food if you want.
google avatar

Mo C.

Yelp
I love this brewery in the Navajo Art District. With so many breweries in the Denver Metro Area, it's difficult for one to stand out. But, this place with its French style beers is truly unique. I especially enjoy their Saison. Take the opportunity to try any seasonal or small batch French beers they have on tap. This place is conveniently located just a couple blocks from The Bug Theater, so we like to grab a beer here before a show. And, it's a great place to meet for a brew before heading to the First Friday Artwalk on Navajo street.
google avatar

Dana D.

Yelp
This was the last stop on a late night brewery tour and it didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed the Charlie Blackberry and having the board games (i.e. drunk librarian Jenga) was a nice addition. The space is fairly large and the staff we really kind and helpful answering my noob questions about beer. Definitely worth checking out and staying a bit.
google avatar

Alix M.

Yelp
Love this place, super friendly! Awesome beer. I like the kokosnuss the most. Thanks Dan!
google avatar

Gabe R.

Yelp
A new brewery in a residential area of Denver. The beers were good and what you'd expect from a solid local microbrewery. Though, I must say, the best part on this visit was the crepes right outside. You'd never think they'd pair well, but they do! There are sweet or savory options. S'mores crepe and a brew is a great combination. The beers certainly lean toward the sweeter/light side. IPAs, pale ales, and wheats are what you can expect. Pretty drinkable for any palette, but don't expect the Guinness style variety.
google avatar

Kelsey L.

Yelp
The brewery is amazing and love the owners. We tried all the beers and literally loved them all. I rarely like IPAs and the greenback was great. The saison was my absolute favorite with the wheat as a close second. The whole place is clean, classy, and it was an overall great experience. We took home two growlers, and I'm sure we will be back for more very soon!
google avatar

Christopher B.

Yelp
I really think this place is about a 3.5 but it's not quite a four-star brewery. I tried a number of tasters, of which most were okay. The brown ale is really the only one to catch my attention. As someone else said, if I had to get a full pint I'm not sure I would be happy with any of these. The space is fine... a bit plain for me but there is some charm in that, too. It definitely has that very local vibe to it, which I like. The staff was nice and there is a back area to play games or corn hole.
google avatar

Sharon G.

Yelp
The server spent all of his time sitting, drinking and talking to his friends and not interacting with the other custoners. The beer is ok, I've have better.
google avatar

Tommy T.

Yelp
I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, ive had some of their beers on tap at local spots and was never impressed. I thought i just needed to go to the source and find out. Finally stopped in and grabbed a flight to see what i was missing. They have a good assortment of beers to choose from, its just that not one of them can i see myself ordering a whole pint of and being happy with that decision. The staff were nice and the space was fine, just none of the beers jumped out at me.
google avatar

Kelly S.

Yelp
This place is great... good beer, awesome people, nice space. Wonderful spot to have in the neighborhood! We go here often and have formed many amazing friendships over the years enjoying the beer. My favorite is the Greenback, but don't miss the Charlie or the Wiggy.
google avatar

Marie R.

Yelp
Favorite Denver Brewery. These beers are well crafted and imaginative. Sopheck, Juan, Molly, Meg and Tim are all wonderful, friendly and hilarious bartenders. The owners, Dan and Jack, are welcoming and always excited to talk about their beers. Awesome events and usually a great food truck to grab a bite.
google avatar

Sarina D.

Yelp
We had a wedding reception in their event space and it turned out so nice! We were not necessarily looking for a totally upscale event location. We wanted something more casual that we could "dress up" and this worked out perfectly! In addition to the space they were so wonderful from the planning stage to the actual day. It didn't matter who I was talking to they were all so helpful. Everyone LOVED the beer and it turned out so great! I highly recommend this location for events.
google avatar

Kenny L.

Yelp
10 stars! Great beers, and great service!! The Greenback IPA is a classic, and they have a wide variety of barrel aged brews.
google avatar

Tracie B.

Yelp
We were there for Diebolt's third anniversary. With all of the breweries in the area, this is quite an achievement. Loved the Anton Francois French Amber Ale. Great vibe.
google avatar

Alexander L.

Yelp
Incredible variety of beers. Loved them all. Tons of board games to play and a delicious food truck out front. Very low key place to hang out and sample beers.
