Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row

The atmosphere and service was great, sat out on the pop-up patio in the couch seating and it was awesome. The food on the other hand has some room for improvement, definitely an afterthought. Despite the food, great trendy place to hang out and enjoy great music, drinks, and scenery!

We came to Scottsdale on a girls birthday trip and Whiskey Row was our planned first stop for the night with much anticipation. We arrived for dinner/drinks around 7pm on a Saturday night. There were patrons there, but it was not busy. It took over 10 minutes for our waitress to pull herself away from her bartender friend to come get our drink order. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks. We ordered food right away because we could already tell the waitress was slow. When the food came out, it was bland! I got the BBQ chicken salad. The chicken was good, the salad with toppings was terrible! The worst thing was we were charged a 4+% venue fee and gratuity was add at 22% without them telling us that would happen. We had a party of 5 only. I asked the waitress who explained the venue fee is common in Scottsdale and they automatically add the gratuity when your bill is $250 or more. That is absurd! Never heard of that! They should've said something beforehand. Now it completely makes sense why the waitress could give two shits about her service. She was going to make a tip either way. They are very lucky we didn't dine and dash! Never will we go back there.

It was an extremely slow Wednesday night. The service was fine. They were out of wings, even though the place had just been closed for a couple of days, and we arrived shortly after they had opened. The decor could use some upkeep. There were several wall panels that were peeling, and it didn't look like the place had been cleaned. Again the placed had been closed for a couple of days so we expected to see a very clean, ready to open location by Wednesday at 6pm.

Cool stop to go for a drink or two. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating, all the sports on big screen TVs, and a massive screen showing the biggest game at the moment. Staff were very friendly, and the DJ was very good. My wife had the buffalo wings and thought they were delicious! Would recommend especially if you are a country music fan.

We aren’t from the area and were looking for a nice western bar where we could dance, listen to country music, and enjoy ourselves. We have gone to this bar in a different city and loved it, but this was not it, surprising as this is place is literally named after a country music star. We went to both locations in the area and BOTH were similar. All they played was club music. Thankfully the DJ at this location played the songs we had requested, however the dance floor is small. The staff was ridiculously rude. We have been servers and bartenders in the past so we wanted to leave cash instead. When we didn’t leave a tip on the card the bartender just talked shit. She went to every single other person that was working and told them about it but yet a friend of ours (who was standing right next to me) had cash held out to her in their hand to give to her to cover tips for both tabs. We could not enjoy ourselves what’s so ever because all the staff continued to do was stare at us the remainder of the evening and be completely rude when we tried to order more items.

If you’re looking for another club with country ish decorations this is your spot. Could have been the time of day and i’m not sure what i was expecting, but when our group walked in the place was lit up like a club with loud music playing in the background. Not exactly the country bar we thought we were gonna get, but then again it’s a bar owned by a country singer.

Whiskey Row was a blast the other night. Our bottle girl Mia was on it—super friendly, kept the drinks coming, and brought a great vibe to our table. She made sure we had everything we needed and really added to the night. Perfect spot to kick off the bachelor weekend with the guys!

Ok Dierks Bentley! I see you! We stopped at this place on a whim and it literally was the best decision of the day! We got there super early thinking they opened at 4 for happy hour but they open at 5 so beware! We went and took a walk and came back. We literally were the first ones in the door and they didn't have a bartender yet but the hostess seated us and our waitress Brielle came right away. She helped us make decisions, told us what was on the happy hour menu and recommended drinks too. She told us it might be a minute on the drinks but kept us posted about everything that was going on. She even went to try and get the bartender for us which it wasn't a long wait, maybe 10 minutes. She brought our drink which was the JIMBO. It was strawberry with a little spritzer, very flavorful and they didn't skimp on alcohol. We ordered the southern fries which were half price for half the size which was perfect for 2 people. The fries were amaaaazing!! You could get them with ranch or bleu cheese but we got ranch! Great combo with the BBQ sauce and ranch! I ordered the Mac and cheese with blackened chicken. Before I ordered, I asked if it was good and she said yes but I asked if she was just saying that and she said no they use lots of different cheeses, definitely not Kraft and it wasn't!! I really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the burger with garlic sweet potato fries which were out of this world!!! Brielle was really good about checking on us, refilling our waters without us asking, and checking to see if we needed anything. Great place to watch the game with a huge screen and of course country music! I didn't experience the club or party aspect but would definitely go back for happy hour and the bar scene!
