Diggers Kitchen

Went there a few days ago after a long hike at nearby cape Raoul, fantastic fast service and delicious food. Nothing makes a bloke happier than a Giant Steak, chips, salad and sauce it felt well deserved after such a walk and it was delicious. My partner had the fish of the day which was also generously portioned - I only had a short stay in Tassie but this was one of the few establishments I left feeling truly happy. Fantastic restaurant would recommend and just a bunch of handsome fellows haha. They also had smaller meal sizes as options for people with less appetite which I found was quite rare for an eatery so there is that too.

If you are anywhere near this place around dinner time, treat yourself to a solid top-notch meal! Huge servings. Fast kitchen. Great service from a beaut team! On a side note, they also offer fully self-contained campers a quiet spot for $10 per night. Beware the Cake Cabinet - that looked dangerous… I will be back next time…

What a great find this was. Food was fantastic. Service was swift and friendly. I had the battered fish and hubby had the squid. We both agreed that was possibly the best we have had. Very reasonably priced and the whole vibe was relaxed and friendly. Also great seaviews and parked our van there for the night for $10. Perfect 👌

Absolutely amazing in all aspects. Bar staff were fantastic and happy to recommend their favourite local Tassie beers. Food was 10/10, seafood chowder was the best I've had anywhere, the chicken parmigiana and veg lasagne were both great too with big servings and made by someone who wants to keep people coming back. Highly recommend visiting for a feed and beverage.

We had the most amazing fish chowder, cheesecake and mocha here, we even came back a second time, it was so good. And the two lovely men running this place took great care of us, opening up the kitchen early for us the first time and making sure we had a table when it was super busy the second time. Thanks so much!

Food was fresh and delicious, service was spectacular. Portions were large but we couldn’t resist the cake cabinet so we bought some cake for tomorrow. Would highly recommend

This place is an absolute gem. Went because it was one of the few places open for food and were totally blown away. They had the seafood chowder on special and it was by far the best seafood chowder I’ve ever had. Have travelled around Tasmania since and ordered it many more times and can say this place has the best version I’ve tried. They also have a great range of cakes, really well made coffees and a nice bar. Huge recommend
