Diggi Palace Hotel | Best places to stay in Jaipur

"Built in 1860 by a wealthy noble family, this rather stately haveli, or mansion, has been enlarged by successive generations. All of its seventy rooms are unique and have an appealing heritage feel, with period furniture, ‘ethnic’ décor, arched windows and coloured glass. It’s comfortable and atmospheric rather than flashy and opulent, and offers excellent value for money with the bonus of a spacious and tranquil garden. Since 2006 Diggi has hosted the annual Jaipur Literary Festival, drawing A-list writers and literati from across the world. " - Amar Grover

Staying at Diggi Palace in Jaipur was truly one of the most wholesome and enchanting experiences we’ve ever had. This stunning mansion-turned-heritage hotel beautifully captures the charm and elegance of Rajasthan, making us feel like we had stepped into a living fairytale. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the delightful sounds of peacocks singing and the sight of squirrels playfully running around the lush gardens — it genuinely felt like a scene out of an enchanted movie. The ambience of the palace is serene yet vibrant, a perfect blend of history and nature. The location is another huge advantage — situated strategically within a short distance from the city’s attractions and only about 10–15 minutes’ drive to the fort areas. It made exploring Jaipur incredibly convenient, yet we always had the peaceful retreat of the palace to return to. The hospitality was beyond impeccable. The entire team went out of their way to make our stay memorable, catering to every need with warmth and professionalism. A special mention goes to Akash, who was exceptionally helpful in sharing insights on travel options and must-visit places around the city. The hotel also offers guides and drivers at a very reasonable price, which made exploring Jaipur stress-free and enjoyable. Jaipur itself is a vibrant city filled with vibrant people, colors, and culture — and Diggi Palace is the perfect place to immerse yourself in it all. We left with hearts full of gratitude and unforgettable memories, and we cannot recommend this heritage hotel enough to anyone visiting Jaipur.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Diggi Palace, Jaipur! The property has an old-world charm that instantly makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, yet it’s equipped with all modern comforts. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of heritage and comfort. The lush gardens and open courtyards are a delight to walk through, and the peaceful ambience makes it a perfect escape from the city’s hustle. The staff is extremely warm, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast spread was fresh and delicious, with plenty of local and continental options. As its right between the heart of Jaipur city, its well connected to all the tourist places. Overall, Diggi Palace is a charming heritage hotel that offers an authentic Rajasthani experience — highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaipur!

This is the best place I’ve stayed. We were personally welcomed by the friendly and generous family owners during our stay who ensured we were well cared for through their connections Jaipur. The Diggi palace has been beautifully and thoughtfully restored. The carefully attention to detail by owners in every room creates a relaxed but luxurious environment perfect for recouping after the excitement and hustle of Jaipur. The rooms are huge, with large bathrooms, comfy beds, dressing rooms and lovely views. The marble floors are artful, the decore perfectly captures the atmosphere of a bygone era. Vintage furniture and furnishings combined with touches like stone soap dishes and healthy pot plants have been lovingly combined by the talented family to give guests a beautiful unique experience. We ended up eating in mostly because the homemade, organic farm fresh food was authentic, healthy and delicious - best mango and lime pickles I’ve eaten. Staff were attentive, super friendly and helpful. The owners gave us an insight into the history of the family and farming practices. Food from the kitchen comes from the Diggi organic farm. We had such a wonderful time that we’d return just to stay at Diggi again.

Our 3rd time visiting the Diggi Palace and the experience was wonderful until the arrival of a yapping dog. It began in the morning and continued till after 3.30pm. Pet friendly should not be to the detriment of other guests, nor should pets be allowed in the dining room. The hotel offers wonderful facilities and the restaurant is exquisite.

We recently booked Diggi Palace for our group of 22 people, including children. We arranged everything from overseas. The service and the hospitality was excellent. Wilson helped us plan our private event exactly how we wanted it.Bhupender took great care of our meals and made sure we enjoyed authentic Rajasthani food. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere. The kids loved playing on the lawn and swimming in the pool. They were excited to see the peacocks and squirrels that often visit the property. Ample parking and buffet breakfast is a plus. We had a wonderful time overall.

It is a heritage hotel with a old rustic feeling. I felt at peace even though the hotel is situated near the city. Perfect stay with large spacious rooms as well. So picturesque with many peacocks in the premises. Food is average. If you want to try traditional Rajasthani cuisine there are better places that this. This hotel focusses on neutral options like continental and Indian. It is expensive considering that pool and many other facilities were under renovation and were not usable.

**A wonderful stay at Diggi Palace!**|Located right in the heart of Jaipur, Diggi Palace is perfectly situated — most of the city’s main attractions are just 5 to 10 minutes away, making it incredibly convenient to explore.||Waking up to the sounds of peacocks and watching these beautiful birds dance and roam freely across the lush lawns was truly magical. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience.||Above all, the staff and everyone at Diggi Palace were exceptionally warm, helpful, and always greeted us with genuine smiles, which made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaipur!

Recently, we visited Jaipur to enjoy the weekend time but, our Booking at this Diggi Palace didn't match to our expectations. We had booked four rooms and checked in at about 03.30 pm. We placed our luggage there in the allotted rooms and visited the Dinning Hall to enjoy Tea Snacks.
