Unfortunately I'll not be returning or recommending this place to anyone, primarily due to discrimination I experienced here. It's clear that this hotel prioritizes foreign travelers over anyone that looks Indian. I was in a group of 5, with 3 rooms under my name. We were not given the amenities that were promised during booking: 1. No welcome drink 2. We were not given the 10% discount at the restaurant that we should have for dinner. We were also never told how to get this discount (in a normal hotel, the restaurant knows the perks of your room). 3. We were not upgraded even though the hotel was not very booked (the restaurant manager confirmed this) 4. I was largely ignored by the restaurant service staff, but my white wife was able to get service immediately. 5. We saw many groups of white-only people get a warm welcome with song and dance (literally), and prompt service, while I was mostly ignored and given the cold shoulder. EDIT: The hotel claims that two of our rooms were upgraded but this was entirely untrue. All our rooms were in the same block and the manager also informed us that upgrades cannot happen because the resort is full.

The staff was very courteous and welcoming. And so was the owner of the property. They took care of every little need of our baby, it really touched my heart. They made our first trip with our baby memorable and so comfortable. Food is amazing and very hygienic. They have maintained the palace well, retaining it's old world charm

The hotel is very charming and a place of calm away from the busy city. The grounds are beautiful and although parts of the hotel are a little rustic, it’s very attractive. The rooms were a very good size and heaters were provided (chilly in December.) There are a few rickshaw drivers outside the hotel and I would highly recommend Raja, who is well spoken, polite, knowledgable and won’t rip you off! We always felt safe in the rickshaw and he gave us an excellent day rate. I would say the hotel is not 5* as advertised, a couple of small things let it down. The breakfast was okay but could be better. Our water turned off a couple of times and my partner and I couldn’t have a shower back to back without the hot water going. The showers are wet rooms and no materials are provided to redirect the water to the drains after a shower and so you’re walking in and out of a wet room. Slippers are provided but by their nature, slippy on a wet floor! Enjoyed the stay overall but would stay elsewhere on our return.

Diggi Palace is a Heritage Hotel with character and old world charm. The rooms are well equipped and give a feeling as if one is living inside an old palace. More importantly the place has good vibes. I can feel the good vibes when I can sleep comfortably at a place undisturbed. It also means in the traditional way that the property has been a peaceful place in its historicity. There is a huge courtyard which is setting for evening cultural activities. We enjoyed the puppet show and the girls dancing with pots on their heads. Staff is courteous and above all the Manager Mr. Wilson pours his heart and soul in maintaining the hotel to international standards. Kudos to him and his team. Location is inside the city so very convenient. I liked my stay this last Christmas!

This is the best heritage hotel in Jaipur. The owners are completely dedicated to preserve this 300 years old vast and naturally beautiful property. The staff is kind and cooperative, the rooms are big and well maintained. Sighting of the peacocks with their little ones is the bonus which you will not get anywhere else. The location is simply great right outside the old city which has the main tourist attractions. The words are not sufficient to express the kind of experience you have here. Thank you very much the entire team of diggi palace 🙏🙏🙏

We have loved our stay at Diggi Palace Hotel. All of the staff were lovely and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble for them. I saw another review about the Laundry Service but ours came back the same day, all lovely and clean and for a very low price. The Palace gives you a nice, quiet and lush green space to relax after a day in the busy city. The pool area is also great to cool off in. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Jaipur.

The heritage hotel is everything and more that it is advertised to be. We went as a family of four and took 2 rooms thinking space may not be enough. there was plenty of space. The rooms were well ventilated and the furnishings were vintage and cute. The service was impeccable. We saw peacocks and peahens roaming in the gardens especially in the morning hours. The kids really enjoyed running around the hallways, feeling transported back in time. Don't forget to check out Durbar Hall which is grand and gorgeous. The meals were heartening but oil content could be cut down a bit. Overall, superb stay. Not to be forgotten.

We stayed at Diggi Palace for three nights after travelling India for a few weeks. We were meeting a number of friends and family to celebrate an Indian/Australian wedding that was supposed to kick off at the hotel, with all guests arriving at the property for a welcome dinner. So, let's get the bad out of the way first: 1. The restaurant got double-booked. This meant all the wedding guests (who exclusively flew to Jaipur for the wedding) had to wait outside for over an hour until other tourists finished their dinner. To make things worse, the shows that were supposed to be part of the wedding were actually enjoyed by the other guests as the wedding group waited outside. 2. At least half a dozen guests (including ourselves) paid for the laundry service only for our clothes to be returned moist and smelly, or not returned at all. If you do want to risk it, I'd suggest you take stock of what you're sending and what comes back. As for the positives: 1. The hotel is in a super quiet area not far from the city centre, which in a place like Jaipur is a luxury. The grounds are lovely and spacious, making it feel like a retreat from the noise and stress of the city. 2. The pool is rather lovely too, well-kept and a great break from the exhausting heat. All in all, I'd say Diggi Palace is a very good 3-star hotel that's grossly overpriced compared to other similar offerings in Jaipur.
