Best Halal Restaurants in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"Beloved local Pakistani bakery cafe Dil Bahar has moved from Norcross to Sandy Springs, though it is still serving up its variety of Karachi-style chaat, Masala fries, panipuri, and samosas, as well as desserts like shahi tukray (bread pudding) or glasses of refreshingly cold falooda. Try the chicken roll, the bun kabab, or the savory, deep-fried kachori served with sabzi (mixed vegetables). Pair snacks with a hot cup of chai or a mango lassi. Make sure to keep an eye out for specials here, including beef and lentil haleem. And it’s all halal." - Eater Staff

Finally got a chance to try Dil Bahar Cafe at their new location! It was great seeing the same friendly uncle — always so nice to meet him. When I asked why the old location closed, he said it had become too crowded to manage, which shows how popular the place was! The food was freshly made, flavorful, and definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic and fresh food!

I usually order via uber eats and had never been to this location in person. They almost always give me a treat to try on uber eats and the hospitality is the same if not more in person! Must try their mango lassi and samosa’s. I also love their kachori with sabzi and chicken biryani. My favorite is the chappli kabab platter that I got to try in-person for the first time! The owner is always on site or someone from her family. This place is a hidden gem in the middle of an office park. I will definitely come back and always order more online!

I just recently started working in the area so the location is extremely convenient for me. I go for lunch all the time! The owners have always been nice to me, they remember my name, and they offer friendly conversation. They make sure the food is good, and offer recommendations. I love the family friendly atmosphere! Pricing ranges, depending on what you get I’d say the pricing is pretty reasonable. I do get their lunch specials all the time. The chai is my favorite. They have different flavors. I aim to try everything on the menu. So far I’ve tried the chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, veg parathas, chicken puff pastry, beef chappli, and the kachoris. So far everything has been amazing! The foods are flavorful and just the perfect amount of spice for me! The lassis are a bit too sweet for me, however, I’m picky about my sweets. I love their raita! I did take my coworkers here but they did mention the spices are too strong for them. They mentioned not liking cardamom. But I am Mexican so the flavors were perfect for me! They also have frozen foods to go, and few spices, and a few dried grocery items like rice. Has definitely become a go to restaurant for me.

This place was truly a gem in the middle of an office park in Sandy Springs. I heard about it from someone else who works nearby and had to try it out. And absolutely so glad I found this spot! The Chico shake was creamy and refreshing. The Chapli Kebabs have so much flavor, and kachoris are my new addiction. Definitely go heavy on the refreshing raita, just pour it over every bite. Fantastic. I’ll be back!!

This place is great for lunch! The food is great with a lot of variety, but the dessert pops are my favorite. The ladies working there are very helpful and answer all my questions (picky eater here). The prices are fair and there's a small seating area for anyone wanting to dine in. I'm glad this place is in my office complex!

Amazing food and hospitality. My mom, son, and I went for lunch last week and we got a variety of food. Everything was delicious and the owners were so hospitable. The daughter brought over a free brownie for my son and the parents chatted with us. Felt very welcoming. Super clean and organized.
