"Reykjavík’s Dill restaurant, run by chef Gunnar Karl Gíslason and sommelier Ólafur Örn Ólafsson, is the firstvenue in Iceland to win a coveted Michelin star.It specializes in New Nordic Cuisine, which means that the kitchenupdatestraditional dishes such as arctic char, pork belly, and lamb shanks in highly creative and ultradelicious ways—often pairing themwith healthy ingredients like barley, berries, and kale. The restaurant is open four evenings aweek, and the seven-course menu changes regularly based on availability of local ingredients. Food can bepaired witha fabulous selection of champagnes and wines. It’s not the cheapest choice in town, but it is one of the best."
This is probably on of the most decent places I've visited lately. A friend of mine brought me here. Perfect atmosphere and great attitude. Staff were all helpful and nice. Food was prepared so good and tasty, that I had to order several meals.

First time in my life I walked out midway through a meal!
The venue is nice and the view of the pond is gorgeous, but reasonable person can be asked to sit through a 5 course meal when the first two took two hours to arrive. The food was good, but the service was terrible and the food was really expensive.
With such a small venue its really unacceptable that we had to wait so long for food.

First restaurant I am not going to forget, for a while at least. Fun and tasty; nicely presented local ingredients and their stories.
