LOVE IT HERE!!!! The donuts are fantastic!!! The people that work there are really friendly. They're patient and will tell you about each donut. I would advise to get there as early as possible because once they're sold out, the store is closed for the day. Always GREAT music playing, too.

A small doughnut shop run by the legacy of J Dilla. The shop is small but not easy to miss on the corner it sits. The decor within is simple yet dope, merchandise like shirts and hats are sold along with the delectable doughnuts. They play music on vinyl connected to an in-house sound system while operating. The doughnuts are heavier and thick, soft yet chewy. They defo put the the "dough" in doughnuts. The flavors aren't vast, and neither is the inventory, but what they have will always please. Come early before the afternoon to get yourself some fresh round ones before the crowd sucks em up.

I got a vegan sweet potato donut. I thought that would be the sweetest thing in the shop but Uncle Herm and Elsie were the real sugar. I came from L.A. to taste these and I would do it again.

I love that the donuts are made by hand and in-house. Although the taste isn't outstanding, I do appreciate the unique flavours and that they are baked fresh daily. I also like that the donuts aren't too sweet. The Aaliyah lemon-filled donut is my favourite. My positive experience was made by the kind and down-to-earth staff here. I had the lovely opportunity to meet and enjoy a conversation with Uncle Herm himself- such a caring, welcoming, and humble human. Will definitely be coming back!

Dilla's Delights donuts are incredible!!! If you haven't been here...get here!!! Ride a bike, drive a car, take an Uber or Lyft, ride a motorcycle, a skateboard...or just plain walk. Just get there. The selection is unlike any other in the D. Try the McNasty Macaroon or the Brewster Banana Pudding. Pair those donuts with a coffee and you won't regret it. ☺️
