I’m a true Delhi foodie, and after living in Bellevue for the past two years, I’ve really missed the authentic flavors of home. This restaurant completely exceeded my expectations — it truly captures the essence of Delhi’s food and ambience. The chef has done an outstanding job bringing authentic Delhi-style cuisine to the U.S. Every dish I tried was perfectly balanced and bursting with genuine flavors — nothing felt missing. The service was equally impressive, making the entire experience even better. The restaurant does tend to get busy, so you might have to wait a little, but the wait is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Delhi food in Bellevue!

Dilli-6 Restaurant Review We stopped by Dilli-6 on a Tuesday night without any plans, and the overall experience was underwhelming. Amritsari Kulche: Felt overly hyped. The chole didn’t offer anything special, and while the kulche were different from what I’m used to, they didn’t quite impress my taste buds. At $26, it really didn’t feel worth the price. Kachori Chaat: Cooked peas served on a flat, crispy puff. The flavors were disappointing, and for $15, I expected a far better chaat. Very subpar. Veg Chilly Momo: Fried dumplings tossed in Manchurian sauce. This seems like a hit-or-miss item—didn’t work for me, though my wife enjoyed it. Falooda: Served with rabdi and kulfi, but the kulfi was so frozen it felt like biting into ice. The toppings didn’t add much, and overall I wouldn’t recommend it. When you’re spending around $80, you expect better food and a better experience. I’ve had far superior meals—both in taste and ambience—for the same price elsewhere. The quality, taste, and presentation here were all very average.

Chole bhature are one of the best. Delicious chole and fluffy nice bhature. Kachori chaat was great too. So were chilli momos. Aloo tikki was average. Malai paneer tikka was great. Amritsari kulcha was great. Dahi bhalla was amazing. Malai soya chaap was great too. Chur chur naan was not impressive. Nice drinks - the anar mojito was good. Atmosphere is casual family dining.

Google
One of the best indian restaurant in the state. I would highly recommend this place. They have good options for appetizers. Aloo chaat is my favorite, highly recommended. Curries and daal were equally good. The restaurant has good ambience and the staff is super friendly. I went there twice and hats off to Major Singh for providing us with excellent service and best experience. We always go with his recommendations and never go wrong. Special thanks to him.

Had an amazing dining experience at Dilli 6! Every dish felt like a trip down the lanes of Chandni Chowk — rich flavors, perfectly balanced spices, and beautiful presentation. The service was quick and friendly, and the overall vibe captured the true spirit of Delhi. However, it’s worth noting that Dilli 6 isn’t a fine-dine restaurant, so the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price charged. A little more quantity would make the experience even better. Still, the taste and authenticity make it a great spot for anyone craving true North Indian flavors.

Google
Visited this place recently and it truly brought back the authentic taste of North Indian street food! The starters were the highlight — especially the kachori, which was crisp, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The main course was decent, though it didn’t stand out as much as the starters. We had to make an advanced reservation to get a table, so it’s clearly a popular spot. Overall, a great choice if you’re craving genuine North Indian street flavors and want to relive that nostalgic taste experience.

Google
Gave a few of their vegetarian dishes a try, like their chole kulche, laddus(pakodas), and kachori chaat. The food overall had a good vibe, though it was on the pricier side. The chole had a bit more masala than expected, but it was still tasty. The highlight for me was definitely the shahi tukda for dessert. The ambiance and service were really welcoming, but I’d definitely recommend making a reservation because there was a bit of a wait of 30 mins. Portions could have been a little larger, especially the chole kulche and kachori chaat, but overall, it was a decent experience. Definitely recommend and come back for its exquisiteness!

Google
Authentic Punjabi food at its finest- Edit: Bhatti da Murg and Chole Bhature are a must try here! We’re so glad we decided to try this place. They’ve recently opened and are currently in their soft launch phase, so the menu is somewhat limited, but everything we ordered was packed with flavor. The malai soya chaap and murgh malai seekh were both juicy and full of rich, creamy spices. Bhatti da murg had the perfect smoked flavor! The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the mint sauce it came with was a great complement. The chole kulcha and bhatura was absolutely mouthwatering-one of the highlights of the meal. Bhaturas were the fluffiest we have had yet. We also loved the saag chicken and kadhi chawal-both authentic and deeply flavorful. Drinks were well-made, and the portion sizes for the mains were generous. Service was mostly good, though there were a few small misses like forgetting serving spoons, knives for starters and not clearing plates promptly. That said, the overall experience was excellent. The owner/manager was friendly and genuinely interested in feedback. We’ll definitely be back!

Yelp
We came here for dinner and had a great time! The restaurant is bright and cheerful with great food, showcasing Delhi's famous eats. We had the following: golgappey with dahi chutney: my favorite! The golgappey were authentic, with sweet, savory and tangy flavors. shami kebab: cooked to perfection and very rich in taste. paneer makhni: quite an experience watching the server pour the gravy over the grilled/tandoori paneer. I was a little confused seeing a plate with only two big pieces of plain paneer but then relieved to see the gravy poured on it! I had this with a tandoori roti. Nalli korma: husband's favorite! I liked the gravy/curry but would get a higher spice level next time. Also paired this with a tandoori roti. Daulat ki chaat: so good! This dessert is a light and the fluffiest whipped cream with saffron, rose and pistachios. We shared this between the two of us, but I will get my own next time! I will be back for more!

Yelp
I had heard a lot about this place and was advised to arrive around 5:30 PM to avoid crowds and long wait times. We followed the suggestion and got there at 5:30 PM. Ordered the Amritsari Chole Kulcha and the Dabba-Style Chicken. Being from North India, the chole didn't resemble Amritsari chole at all, which was quite disappointing. I'm not sure why this dish is so popular perhaps many guests aren't familiar with authentic North Indian flavors. The Dabba-Style Chicken was decent, but the amount of garlic was overwhelming. Overall, I don't feel the pricing matches the quality or the portions. Paying around $70 for two dishes, including tip, felt excessive.

Yelp
Dilli6 has a nice vibe and decor, but our experience was ruined by poor service. Our group of four had to wait 20-30 minutes after dinner because their payment system showed a "glitch." The person who claimed to be the general manager -- wouldn't let us leave until one of my friends repaid her share (we had split the bill four ways). Three days later, she found out she'd been charged twice. The manager told us we could call him if there were any issues, When called the person did not respond immediately or apologetically!! The whole experience was stressful and unnecessary, especially with a crowd waiting outside on a Friday evening. In short: Great ambiance, but absolutely terrible customer service.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. I made a reservation for Karwa Chauth and went with my husband and two small kids. The ambiance is lovely, the interiors are beautiful, and our server was very nice and polite. We started with the soya chaap appetizer, which was actually quite good and set high expectations. However, the main course was disappointing. The aloo paratha was deep fried and extremely oily, we couldn't even eat it. The dal makhani was good, but the tandoori momos were overloaded with cheese, which overpowered everything else. What disappointed me more than the food was the billing experience. After coming home, we realized our bill was over $100, which didn't seem right compared to what we had ordered. I called the restaurant to clarify, and the manager said he would call me back but never did. My calls later went to voicemail, and even after leaving a message, I received no response. When I finally reached him, he did process a refund for the extra charge, but he never once apologized for the mistake. Overall, while the ambiance and the soya chaap were great, the food quality and customer service left a lot to be desired. I hope they can improve, because the place does have potential.

Yelp
The food was really good, service was really good. We liked all of the dishes and loved the taste of cholla Kulcha although the quantity felt small for the price. Will go there again

Yelp
Food - 4 stars Ambience - 3 stars Service - 2 stars Price - $$$ This is our first time here after the previous restaurant at the same location was taken over by Dilli-6 . We ordered amritsari chole kulche, dilli-6 chicken, tawa mutton, aloo paratha and adulation ki chaat. The littlest one loved the dilli-6 chicken with a slightly sweet yet flavorful chicken. The oldest liked his aloo paratha. The hubby loved the fiery delicious tawa mutton. The only thing which was underwhelming was chole kulcha. The portions were small. Considering the price + taste, food definitely felt overpriced. Like the famous gourmet Vinod Dua said - It's good, but I won't be composing sonnets for this. They have freshly redecorated the whole place to give a jazzy Dilli vibe. Definitely deserves the 3 stars. If the layout had been changed I would have rated it 4 stars for Ambience. Coming to the worst factor in my rating - service. They were courteous. However we had to flag multiple times to get water. Same for refills. The food arrived promptly after the order, but I expect the service to be premium for the price they are charging. Also I do agree with one of the previous reviews where they mentioned posturing about how busy they are despite the tables being empty or reservations being held. My suggestions would be to start a yelp wait list for transparency. Else honor present customers first. Would I be back ? Just when I want a change of food. But this will most likely not be my regular places. P.S. - There is a 4% credit card fee. They prefer cash.

Yelp
This is a great Indian restaurant offering as close to home dishes as you can expect in the greater Seattle area. The ambience is lively, colorful and spacious, but reservation is required ahead of time. I loved their chole bhature, dahi ke sholey, soya chaamp, shahi tukda to name a few. They charge 4% fee if payment is made through card.

Yelp
My friends and I walked in, got seated right away and within minutes the place started filling up.. clearly word is getting around. It's fairly a new restaurant and seems like off to a great start! We started with the makhhan Murgh Malai Seekh and it was easily the highlight of my meal.. so well cooked, tender and very flavorful. Then we had Chicken Afghani Momo. It's not your traditional momo but it was rich, creamy and absolutely delicious. The only dish that fell short was the Chicken Mughlai Korma.. it needed a bit more salt and the flavors weren't as yummy as I expected. To balance it, Shikanji was so refreshing! So overall good service, good ambiance and a menu with some unique options. I see myself going back!

Yelp
Went in weekday and to my surprise it was quite full. We had to wait for 10 mins and then were seated . Ambiance is lively and service was quick. We ordered soya chap which was really good , tandoori momos where average as momos were deep fried so it loose the texture of it and it lacks flavour in sauce they had over it. For main course we have panner and churnchur naan. Naan was very good but panner was too much gravy and with all hot spice which I was sure my stomach will be upset after eating it . It had gravy but too much of heat due to hot spices and my stomach on real was bad after a day. So won't suggest to order it For dessert we had shahi tukda. Again it was too moist but still had good taste.

Yelp
Always great food and service. They have a great selection of chaat, veg, and meat dishes. This is the best Indian restaurant in Seattle for Northern Indian food.

Yelp
Amazing place for chaat, Chole was okish. Reserve in advance otherwise its hard to get a seat esp given the current crazy demand for this place. They don't have kids size (a minus) , had to get full size curries.

Yelp
Dilli-6 took over the restaurant space vacated by The Turmeric Kitchen. The restaurant basically migrated from Bengali food to Delhi food, hence the 'Dilli' name; they call themselves "unapologetically Desi". We were indeed the only non-Desi customers. The general layout of the restaurant is the same with different wall décor and different bar area. The inside is fairly loud and just as dimly lit with little rechargeable table lamps for mood/ambience lightning. We (2) walked in without reservations at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. The hostess (possibly owner) did the song and dance of "let me check the reservations to see what table is available" while I eye more than half the restaurant space is empty. I hate that kind of posturing. Anyway, surprise, they can sit us right away. Insert eyeroll emoji. When taking our order, our server noted hubby's less-spicy (2 stars) request, while I can handle spicy (4 to 5 stars). Because of my comment about spiciness, the server recommended two non-veg dishes. I opted to add one instead of replacing what I already chose. When the food arrived, neither of the two spicy dishes were in fact spicy. I should have said something sooner. I thought I might get an after-kick. Nope, not spicy. When I brought it up to the server's attention, he just said I must have some super spicy tolerance and walked away. No, I am pretty sure the kitchen toned down all dishes instead of only one dish. Sigh. Their prices are quite a bit higher for less food. They are still tweaking the menu. The receipt's prices are tens of cents higher than menu prices. See both photos. It feels like fraud. The Food: Mutton Keema Chop, $17 menu vs $17.68 receipt - 4 Stars Menu: Goat keema chop fried in desi ghee I didn't realize the meat is literally chopped, as in nearly ground meat. (I had chop as in an American pork chop in mind which is one whole piece.) I don't typically like the texture of grounded meats, but the seasonings and the chutney made this chopped dish tasty and worthwhile. There is a slight kick to the sauce. This dish was a pleasant surprise and would order again. Dilli Butter Chicken, $23 menu vs $23.92 receipt - 4 Stars Menu: Butter chicken from the kitchens wehre it was invented This was hubby's "mild" requested dish. This dish is served with them pouring the sauce in front of you, so you can see the bottom of the bowl doesn't have a lot of meat. Nonetheless, the dish is well prepared and tasty. The price is definitely higher than other places. Mughlai Chicken Korma, $23 menu vs $23.92 receipt - 2.5 Stars Menu: Old Delhi famous chicken korma This is supposed to be spicy. It most definitely is not. It is also quite oily. Without the spiciness, the dish tastes incomplete. I tasted the oil more than I tasted the seasonings. I took the majority home to be modified, including draining oil and adding spices. This $23.92 dish has only one chicken hindquarter. That is a lot of money for one skinny hindquarter. Bhogal Ke Choley Bhaturey, $22 menu vs $22.88 receipt - 2 Stars Menus: Famous choley bhaturey of Bhogal market Junpura Delhi This is the additional dish I ordered per the server's recommendation. Again, it was not spicy. I was very underwhelmed by this dish. Oil is once again pooling at the top (you can see in the photo). Chickpeas are presumably slow-cooked in the style of the Bhogal night market seasoning. Without the spiciness, I don't know what am I tasting other than the oil. The breads are fried, and they arrived big and puffy. I tasted some of this dish but took most home to be modified. Choor Choor Naan, $8 menu vs $8.32 receipt - 4 Stars Flaky and crispy hand crushed naan. It really is quite good! It is crispier than the typically plain naan. Steamed rice, $5 menu vs $5.20 receipt - 2.5 Stars Unlike most Indian restaurants in the area, none of their dishes comes with rice. This is plain white basmati rice. The rating denotes the fact that I even have to pay for rice considering the cost of each dish. One order is enough for the two of us.

Yelp
Made a reservation for Sunday dinner at 6:30pm but had to go sooner and they accommodated the request. Ambiance: The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that blends traditional Indian decor with modern touches. It's cozy yet vibrant--perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. We had decided to try mainly the appetizers and so we ordered accordingly. Food Highlights: Khajur ki chutney wale golgappe- the server mentioned its not the traditional pani puri. We ordered after reading the description it was full of flavors ,I felt it was a mix of sev and dahi puri. Makkhan Murgh Malai Seekh- it was moist and rich in flavor. Hakka Noodles- had a mix of crispy fried noodles and noodles which were amazing. The portion sizes are smaller but they are flavorful. The menu is extensive, offering everything from classic curries to fusion snacks. Drinks-Aam panna mojito was not up to my expectations I felt it was more of ice and less flavors. Mango lassi was rich. Desserts- I wanted to try Daulat ki Chaat. It was light and felt like eating the foam. The foam had melted and was watery at the bottom. I felt it could be more stiffer and chilled. I liked it as it was very light and I did not feel overloaded. Service: Staff was attentive and friendly . The service is prompt and welcoming. If you're looking to celebrate something or just indulge in a flavorful escape, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
Highly recommend reserving online for lesser wait time. The service was quick and very friendly. Food was simply out of the world authentic Delhi food. The ambience was cute and cozily setup. Chole bature, kachori chaat and paneer are a must try .

Yelp
This place has been hyped as one of the big new Indian restaurants of the year, so we decided to give it a try on Saturday at lunchtime. We did get a table despite the crowd, but that was where the good news ended. The décor felt tacky and careless: printed truck posters with a visible "FREE" watermark peeking through, which instantly signaled a lack of attention to detail. The furniture was a medley of mismatched chairs and benches, almost like it was collected from different places and patched together with a few new pieces. The green sofas had frayed fabric, looked worn out, and were so light they kept shifting underneath us. Instead of the warm, vibrant feel you expect from a North Indian restaurant, the ambience leaned cafeteria. Service was the biggest shock. After we were seated, no one came to our table for around twenty minutes. There were three staff working: one person juggling greeter duties and running between tables, one person cleaning, and one person taking orders. The order-taker walked past us multiple times without even acknowledging us, and when he finally stopped, his opener was, "Would you like to order?" We hadn't been given menus, and only a minute earlier we had figured out on our own that the QR code on the back led to a digital menu card. No one explained it. The vibe was very "Order karo." Typical canteen staff vibes. What made it worse was the fixation on payment over hospitality. Even though there was no one waiting for a table and final call for the kitchen had already passed, the staff still rushed us. My wife was mid-bite into her Shahi Tukda when the order-taker showed up with a portable card machine, bus-conductor style, and asked us to settle the bill. After the payment, he walked away without eye contact or a simple "thank you." HE DID NOT EVEN GIVE US A RECEIPT! The owner lady did stop by while we were dining. We saw her reviewing a new staff member's performance and walking to a table to ask for feedback, which is good in theory, but she seemed oblivious to the kind of critical feedback people are sharing online, and her staff is not doing her justice. Spot checks (CBSE "flying squad" style) won't fix systemic service issues; attention to detail, consistent training and hospitality will. Water glasses smelled. We got them replaced but they still smelled. They should clean their dishwasher. The food ranged from ho-hum to terrible, which was the most disappointing part for North Indian food lovers. The mutton rann was overwhelmingly spicy, packed with chilies and their seeds to the point that heat was the only thing we could taste. Worse, the meat was hard and poorly cooked. My spouse is a goat mutton connoisseur and usually demolishes any mutton dish; here, she left most of it untouched, which has never happened elsewhere. The Dilli-6 chicken was actually nice and tasted like fast-food karahi chicken from Delhi. It was the only dish we'd consider ordering again, and even then, it wasn't extraordinary. The Shahi Tukda was horrible. The malai tasted sour, and we ended up scraping it off. The sweet liquid pooled under the tukda was totally unnecessary and made the entire dessert soggy. If they care, they should rework this dessert from the ground up. Portions were okay, but they did not justify the cost. Either the portion sizes should be roughly 1.3 times larger, or the prices should be adjusted down by about $5 per dish. On top of that, there was a weird 4% surcharge for paying by card, which reinforced the feeling that the restaurant is run more for money than for the dining experience. There were two obligatory "Is everything fine?" check-ins. We said "okay" mostly because we were tired by then and wanted to leave, and we did not have the energy to risk more delays if the staff took feedback to heart. For what it's worth, when we asked for a to-go box and a piece of foil, we received them quickly and had no issues there, unlike some others have reported. My hunch is that the hype comes from Indian folks who are tired of the watered-down, sweet curries with no heat that are common in the Seattle area. But adding lots of chilies to bland gravies is not the same thing as offering authentic North Indian flavor. If you are on the Eastside and want genuine North Indian food like balanced gravies, tender mutton, and desserts like Shahi Tukda done right, you'll likely find better meals in Vancouver, BC or even Portland. Right now, this place feels like convenience with extra chilies rather than quality North Indian cuisine.

Yelp
We had a reservation for 6:45 PM and arrived at 6:30 PM. We were seated right away. Since it was their soft opening, we expected that a few menu items might not be available--and that was totally understandable. To start, we ordered the Ram Ladoo and Golgappe. The Ram Ladoo arrived hot and tasted very authentic. Major kudos to the chef for the fantastic chutney on the side--it was flavorful and complemented the dish beautifully. Personally, I would've liked a bit more heat, but that's just my preference. The Golgappe were great too--crisp and refreshing. For the main course, we went with Chole Bhature, Paneer Makhani, and Butter Naan. In the past, I had to cross the border into Canada to satisfy a solid chole bhature craving, but this easily tops my list of places nearby. The flavors were spot on. The paneer in the makhani had a subtle smoky aroma--likely from the tandoor--which added depth. The rich, buttery gravy was smooth and indulgent. The naan was fresh and served straight from the tandoor--soft with just the right amount of char. Even though we were quite full by then, no meal feels complete without dessert. The Shahi Tukda wasn't available, so we opted for the Daulat ki Chaat. It was light, airy, and perfectly whipped malai with delicate notes of almond and saffron. Throughout the evening, dishes were coming out of the kitchen quickly, and the service was great. The staff--and even the owner--were warm, welcoming, and eager to hear feedback.

Yelp
Went in for lunch and was so lucky to snag a booth -- they got busy and pretty packed within minutes! I loved the bright, bold, colorful, and playful decor. Everything inside reminded me of being in Delhi. It's like stepping into a little slice of home. We started with the Raam Laddoo. I've always been curious about this one and finally tried it -- what a fantastic appetizer! Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and paired with green chutney that hit all the right notes. Next up: Malai Soya Chaap. Oh my word! Filling, packed with protein, smoky and tender -- absolutely delicious. Then came Karol Bagh ki Aloo Tikki. This one had me crying tears of joy. It tasted like home. Crispy, hot tikkis smothered in all the yumminess. Mind-blowing! For the mains, we ordered the Amritsari Choley Kulche and Chole Bhature -- both were out of this world. The chole was perfectly cooked and flavorful, while the bhaturas were soft, fluffy, and just right. To drink, we had a beer and a Santara Thara -- strong and on the sweeter side, it rounded things out nicely. Service was quick, the food was incredible, and the vibe was full of energy. Overall, it was a great lunch. So happy to see such amazing restaurants opening up in the neighborhood. Highly recommend

Yelp
We went on a Saturday at around 5:45pm, to start early than the weekend rich? This place was packed by 6:15pm. Food service was fast and our food arrived super fast. Our food - Makhni Momos, orange thara, mango lassi, shikanji, goat biryani, butter chicken and garlic naan- was amazing! They are spot on with food and it's, for me, spice level was a little higher! More than anything- thier ambience and staff is amazing !!

Yelp
From the name and description I was expecting more of a street food vendor type of place and I was quite excited to try some authentic street food. However this is definitely a sit down restaurant (and priced like it). I got the Karol Bag ki Aloo Tikki, and I thought it was fine, probably a little more yogurt-y than my tastes like but not bad at all with decent portions. However I will say that just about every menu item is priced higher than I'd expect, with even the starters and the chaat (more street food-ish items) being 13+. Overall I wasn't blown away (I might come back to try a main) and the price point wouldn't be encouraging to bring me back.

Yelp
This a cute hole in the wall spot with a lot of options. We tried the aloo tikki chat, the chicken shami kebab, chicken reshmi tikka and the chole bature. The food was decent but the service was very slow.

Yelp
This one definitely adds to the ever bustling Indian food scene on the east side. We were happily surprised by the taste of the food. This used to be an Indian restaurant named Turmeric Kitchen which was not good at all. They retained majority of the interior including the seating and some staff for sure! Ease of booking wise I definitely felt like there is a room for improvement since resy did not let me book for 5 people and kept saying table for 5 not available whereas table for 4 was easily available. Food wise it was a great experience. We ordered the following: Kachori Chaat - decent enough, Aloo Tikki chaat - one of the best I have had around here Dahi Sholey - very mild and flavorful, ideal for kids Chole Bhature - very authentic taste Chicken Korma - good enough but was overpriced for the taste Paneer Makhni - gravy was very sweet for our liking but paneer was soft and nicely done Garlic naan and Chur chur naan - decent enough to go with curries. Side note - we really enjoyed their picked carrot and raw mango that came with Chole and we were able to order extra for $2 which was well worth the price. Overall it's a good idea to go with a group so you can try different things on the menu. Food pricing is slightly on the higher end but as long as they keep the food good it will still justify the price.

Yelp
We came here for dinner just last week. Was told 40 mins wait time, we put our names on the wait list and left thinking we won't get a table. Within 2 mins we got a call a table was available. I was stoked as I had heard nothing but positive reviews from friends. When we got to our table, I was put off from the get go, the seats were super uncomfortable, with the back leaning so back that I had to sit upright like we used to in school. The overwhelming smell of fabuloso did not do any favours either. The food was meh at the best. It lacked authenticity and did not justice to what Indian punjabi cuisine has to offer. Overall severely disappointed, don't think we will be returning anytime soon.

Yelp
I've been to Dilli-6 a couple of times so far, and honestly, they haven't missed yet. It's one of those rare Indian spots that manages to balance authenticity with a bit of flair without losing the soul of Delhi-style food. They seat around 80 to 90 people, and if you plan to go, book on Resy because it fills up fast. Now, there are a few quirks worth noting: - They charge a 4% surcharge on credit card payments and encourage cash, which is ridiculous. I'm absolutely against that nonsense. - They don't do takeaway or delivery. Their logic is that to-go orders mess up the consistency since the chefs would have to rush dishes, and I get that. Still, if you really want takeout, you have to dine in, get a table, order food, ask for boxes, and pack it yourself. Wild! AMBIANCE - Classy yet comfortable. Modern Indian touches with warm lighting and vibrant wall art. - Plates and bowls are beautifully presented, with cast-iron skillets and brass cutlery adding a touch of flair. - Feels upscale but not pretentious. FOOD - Chicken Dilli-6: My favorite dish here. The smokiness, the spice level, everything hits just right. This alone makes the trip worth it. - Paneer Dilli-6: Right up there with the chicken version. The smoky flavor is unreal, rich without being heavy, and the paneer is perfectly coated. - Karol Bag Ki Aloo Tikki: The star of the show among the appetizers. Excellent balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy. They absolutely nailed this one. - Murg Makhani: Basically butter chicken with a subtle smoky note. Slightly sweeter than most versions I've had, but man, the flavor is crazy good. Alternating bites between this and the Chicken Dilli-6 feels like heaven. - Paneer Peeli Mirch Tikka: Packed with flavor, though the paneer leaned a little chewy. Still, very enjoyable overall. - Bhogal Ke Chholey Bhature: Extremely close to what you get in Delhi and by far the best Delhi-style chholey I've had in the US. - Amritsari Chholey Kulcha: The chholey are the same delicious ones served with the bhature, and the kulcha itself was decent, not extraordinary - Makkhan Murgh Malai Seekh: I was skeptical at first because, as far as I'm concerned, "malai" and "seekh" don't usually go hand in hand, but this one proved me wrong. Tender, flavorful, and surprisingly well-executed. Not something I'd always order, but if it's served, I'll happily finish it. - Malai Soya Chaamp: Pretty good and packed with richness. Might be tough to keep consistently perfect, so I'll try it once more before fully vouching for it. - Choor Choor Naan: For anyone unfamiliar, this naan is half-smashed, flaky, and layered into large bread pieces that are somewhat crunchy. It's uncommon even in India, let alone the US, which adds to its already incredible, crunchy, textural charm and makes it a must-try. - Raam Laddoo: Underwhelming but not disappointing. The chutneys did most of the heavy lifting. - Aloo Paratha Dilli-6: Decent but not something I'd go for again. It's fine, just doesn't stand out next to the heavier hitters. SIDES & DRINKS - Boondi Raita: Technically a side, but almost feels like a dessert. The raita itself is yellow, likely from saffron, and the quantity of boondi (tiny, crispy fried gram flour pearls soaked in yogurt) is generous enough that you'll probably get more crunch than yogurt. - Sweet Dry Fruit Peda Lassi: Delicious and dessert-like. You'll want to eat it with a small spoon instead of drinking it. - Shikanji: Refreshing and balanced, perfect palate cleanser. - Aam Panna Mojito: Sweet, tangy, and minty -- easily one of my favorite drinks here. DESSERTS I'm not a big fan of Indian desserts in general, so take this part with a grain of salt. - Giani Da Falooda: Decent. Pretty presentation and nice flavor, but it didn't blow me away. Fans of traditional falooda will probably love it more than I did. FINAL THOUGHTS Dilli-6 is the real deal when it comes to North Indian food in Kirkland, WA. The food looks great, and tastes even better. While the no-to-go and credit card surcharge are annoying, it's hard to stay mad when the food's this good. If they can keep the consistency, this place will be a home run for anyone craving authentic Delhi flavors done right.

Yelp
The food we tried was great. Flavorful and delicious. Service and ambience were good too. A little on the pricier side but feels like a fine-dining place.

Yelp
They closed the restaurant and wasted 20 minutes of my time. Worst of all, IT SAID IT WAS OPEN ON YELP.

Yelp
Went for Dinner, Great food presentation, Cheap of Management to charge extra for Onions and Chutney. No Indian food is complete without Onions and Chutney. Have visited more 1000 Indian Restaurants, no one charges for Onions and Chutney.

Yelp
Food is just okay that's why 2 stars but definitely not worth the money you are going to spend here. Not sure living to the hype.

Yelp
Food comes pretty fast but it was just so hard to get their attention to add anything to the order. They didn't let us know kitchen was closing until after we finally got their attention to order some dessert and it was too late by then. Food was average.

Yelp
Made a reservation for a family night out during soft opening. Great ambience ,great food and great service. We ordered dahi ke shole, murg kebabs, chole-kulche, butter chicken-naan, santra tharra and masala soda. Our fav were the butter chicken & chole kulcha. Both naan and kulcha were out of the world so fresh, crispy and flaky. Chole really reminded of Delhi and Butter chicken almost similar to what you get at Pandara road in Delhi. The owners have really brought taste of Delhi to our backyard. The best part is their friendly server, fast service and warm and welcoming owner. Great Job Dilli 6 and keep it up !!

Yelp
Best Authentic Punjabi Food in the Seattle Area!! Hands down ! A fancier, sit down restaurant with plenty of space. I visited Dilli 6 in Kirkland and was blown away by how authentic the food tasted--instantly reminded me of home. We ordered quite a spread: Dilli 6 Paneer, Saag Paneer, Butter Naan, Mango Lassi, Momos, Choley Bhature, Amritsari Kulcha, Malai Soy Chaap, Peda Lassi, and Shahi Tukda. - Dilli 6 Paneer had the perfect balance of onion-tomato gravy- rich, flavorful, and exactly how it should be. - Saag Paneer tasted just like the best I've had in Punjab- fresh, creamy, and comforting. - The Butter Naan was soft, fluffy, and clearly made fresh in the tandoor. - Choley Bhature was phenomenal- no need to drive to Vancouver, BC anymore for that authentic taste! - Amritsari Kulcha was crispy on the outside and stuffed generously, another standout dish. -Malai Soy Chaap was excellent. Really chewy and soft and the gravy had the smoky tandoori flavor. - Shahi Tukda and Peda Lassi were heavenly sweet, rich, and nostalgic, reminding me of India. The staff were very sweet and attentive. They went out of their way to accommodate us when we realized we had ordered too much food, they quickly joined two tables for us without any fuss, despite the rush hour. Even the Mango Lassi and Momos were on point. Overall, this is hands down the best authentic Punjabi food I've had in the Seattle area. Dilli 6 is going to be my go-to spot whenever I crave homestyle North Indian food. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We chose to eat only veg options during our visit and everything was awesome. Service was great, attentive but not pushy. Will go back to try other menu items.

Yelp
Outrageously priced, food is average. The worst part they charge 4% if you pay by credit card. Never experienced that, who charges 4% for paying by credit card. Total price skimming, they are same owners as Banaras. Never going back.

Yelp
Dilli-6 was a surprisingly delightful experience. The malai seekh kabab - the flavor and consistency were spot on. The Chole Bhature took me straight back to Delhi with its authenticity--what a treat! The tawa goat absolutely knocked it out of the park: tender, rich, and bursting with flavor. To end the meal, both the faluda and shahi tukda were satisfying and well-made. I'll definitely keep going back, as long as Dilli-6 continues to keep it authentic!

Yelp
This is likely the most authentic desi food I have had in a while, we tried dilli 6 chicken, shami kebab (dum pukht vibes), bhuna mutton and chat options. I rate this place highly and will be returning!! Beats going to Vancouver for good desi food

Yelp
Some good drinks( thanks to bartender, had some fun drinks like Santra tharra, dhabangg, old fashioned), good appetizers ( recommend sheek kebab and pheli paneer). Good entrees ( chole battura, butter chicken and tawa mutton). Wonderful deserts. Only complaint is that it's just too busy and unless you have reserved ahead.

Yelp
This is by far the best Indian food our family has had a pleasure to experience. We tasted the Malai Soya Chaap, Dahi Ke Sholey, Kachori Chaat, Shaami Kebabs, Chicken Changezi, and Falooda. All these reminded us from our days in India. Their service was also courteous and pleasant. We will be back to get a taste of other items that they offer. Highly recommended to everyone who appreciate the actual taste of India.

Yelp
had a wonderful experience dining here! The food was exceptional--every dish was well-prepared, flavorful, and presented beautifully. You can tell the ingredients were fresh and the kitchen put real care into crafting each plate. From appetizers to dessert, everything was delicious and satisfying. Equally impressive was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal, offered thoughtful recommendations, and checked in just the right amount without being intrusive. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience. Great ambiance, outstanding food, and top-notch service. I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to others.

Yelp

Yelp
Amazing experience at Dilli6! Everything we've tried so far has been authentic and flavorful, making it one of the best Indian restaurants on the Eastside. The Chole Bhature, Rajma Chawal, and chaats are especially delicious and absolutely worth trying. I'll definitely be coming back! Service was also great!

Yelp
Service and restaurant ambience was excellent. Aloo paratha and kachori chaat were not good but rest of the food which included golgappe, channa batura, momo soup and naan were excellent. They need to do some more work on bringing authentic Dilli 6 taste but great start.

Vaishali G.

Yelp
Very rushed service and was very loud. Good presentation of food but everything is super salty.

Yelp
Food is good, the ambiance is good. Service is unimpressive. Restaurants are pricey these days and Dilli-6 is not cheap either. I wish they could make it a great experience and not just a place to fill bellies. The waiting staff don't show any warmth or enthusiasm. I asked for some extra lime with my channa batura and I got a reluctant roll of the eye before finally giving us. All of us at the table independently found it odd and here hesitant to ask for anything after that. They charge an extra 4% fee if you use your credit card and they don't tell you in advance till it's time to pay. You can't make a take-out order.. the compromise is that they bring a box to pack yourself. Overall the service is very transactional and doesn't behoove their concept or price.

Yelp
Dilli-6 special chicken - hands down is the best chicken you can find in Washington area. You should literally skip a food-trip to Surrey BC and instead try out this place. 10/10 for ambience, service and taste
