"This homely former pub, run by young couple Richard Milnes and Valeria Ventura, was newly awarded a Bib Gourmand in the 2019 Michelin Guide. Its eye-catching dishes make good use of local ingredients, many of which are grown in the garden – including some rather wonderful purple sprouting broccoli." - The MICHELIN Guide UK Editorial Team

Ideal for intimate dining, perfectly cooked food and friendly service. Everything is really well presented and tastes as good as it looks.

My girlfriend and I ate here in May'18. The food was absolutely sensational. The best meal we have had the pleasure of eating in quite a while. The restaurant is decorated very well with our only criticisms were the dessert menu was a little limited and the seating was not befitting of the extremely high quality of food. Valeria was a great host and provided us with some excellent recommendations. Do not miss this place if anywhere near the area!

The place is really lovely. The always changing menu is promising ad they cook from what they have bought fresh at the market. The service is a bit slow, there was only 1 waitress. Is the place is full, service is slow. But the reason of not giving 5 stars is that fact, that I asked for gluten free food and 2 out of 3 courses served had gluten content ingredient on the plate. This is totally unacceptable. Otherwise recommended.

We visited Dillon's last weekend and I have to say that I had THE best steak that I've had in ages. It was perfectly cooked, medium rare and so full of flavour. My starter of pickled herring (rollmops) was very good but the steak was an absolute winner. I'll be back for two steaks....perhaps not great for my colesterol but worth dying for!!

4 of us enjoyed a great meal here. Provencale soup was excellent as was my steak. Quality of all food was superb. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I decided to try Dillons after receiving a recommendation from a co-worker of her's. The indoor dining area is fairly small but very comfortable. There is also an outside seating area. All of the staff were very friendly, the manager stopped by twice to check on us and talked to us about our recent relocation to the area and recommended a short walk to take after dinner for a full view of the town and harbor. Both of us were very impressed with our meals. No vegetarian dishes were listed on the night's menu but they were quite happy to prepare one for my wife. She started with a goat cheese and walnut salad and loved it. It's a fairly standard pairing but they did an excellent job. My grilled mackerel starter was amazing. It was served with pickled rhubarb, ginger, and a smoked potato that was a truly unique preparation. She also raved about her polenta and fried cheese entree. It was served with grilled asparagus, a mushroom puree and a mango parsley caper salsa. I also enjoyed my monkfish and scallop entree. For dessert we split their apple and pecan pudding. It was fantastic. Overall all a great experience with exceptional food. It will be on the top of our list for special occasions.

Really delicious perfect cod, fresh local ingredients(shows origin of all produce on back of menu) menu may change often as food is seasonal and fresh, the Chef understands fish, honestly one of the best restaurants in west Cork equal to Deasy's

Yelp
Very simple but outstanding. Small but cute place in Timoleague next door to another excellent restaurant called Monks Lane that I tried before! My wife & daughter had turbot, my son shared a ribeye with my daughter's friend and I had the wild boar! All superb served with potatoes & vegetables that were delicious. Strawberry shortcake is an especially nice way to top it off.

Yelp
Superb bowl of steamed mussels and an exquisite orange drizzle cake for pudding - oh so light! Great Rebel Blend from Cork Coffee Roasters!
