Stopped by as we droves by and it was a good stop. I never liked gin before but this cherry infused gin was so good I ended up buying a bottle and have made several good drinks with it. Also bought a few gifts while there.

Exceptional customer service from the entire team! Really enjoying their new pre mixed cocktails especially the espresso martini and honeycomb old fashioned. Their outdoor courtyard space is so cute with lots of shaded areas to sit, is pet friendly and love their lawn games too.

Dillon's has been on our road trip list for far too long! We finally made it in this past Saturday. The canned cocktails available through LCBO have been a regular go-to for my wife's sister, so a visit to Dillon's was inevitable. It can be busy at times, and weekends are first come, first served, so patience may be needed. It will be worth the wait. Tastings are quite reasonable at $10 for four samples (as of September 2024). The tasting room is quite nice - lots of wood finishes and a fun chandelier with glass bottles. Not surprisingly, several bottles came with us and our companions. My boyfriend and I have been visiting annually on our way down to NOTL and do the tasting each time. $10 each to taste 4, and there are always a few new bottles each year. the staff serving us have always been helpful and knowledgeable about each bottle they pour. they also have a variety of cocktail kit boxes, which would make for great gifts. we will definitely be returning!

What an amazing tour, our Guide was amazing, Grace did such a great job. Being locals and supporting the craft makers is amazing for us. Grace really stepped it up. Her knowledge and professionalism was outstanding. This tour did not disappoint. It was so worth the money. Do not hesitate to book it and I recommend asking for Grace. The only disappointment was no discount on purchases for taking the tour or even a locals discount Only sharing one picture so that I don’t give the tour away

Love supporting this local Distillery that I will be forever grateful to for their incredible efforts during the pandemic, to produce and supply us with hand sanitizer! Amazing!!!

Came into the distillery on Sunday and did a tasting with Grace. She was so knowledgeable and friendly. I really appreciated all of the personal touches she added on to my experience. Loved the variety of products available and would absolutely come back to visit the distillery again!

A spontaneous visit to Dillan's was an awesome time. So relaxed! The outdoors surrounded by greenery, great drinks, and good company are always the best feelings. The staff is super helpful. My husband and I are not drinkers, and we wanted to try a taste of something different. After speaking with one of the staff, they were able to mix a delicious couple of drinks that taste so good. You wouldn't know that alcohol wasn't in it. Well, maybe some would. Nonetheless, we got more than we expected from this experience. Loved it!!

Nine years ago, my husband and I were trying to have a second kiddo, and after a few weeks, we decided to take a break and go on a trip to Niagara Falls. We went to way too many wineries, and then, like some sort of beacon in the night, we stumbled onto Dillon's. As a gin drinker, I knew we had to try it. Maybe it was the four wineries we went to beforehand, but it was some of the best gin I've ever had. We came home with two bottles of Cherry Gin, a regular gin, and our second daughter. Fast forward to 2024, and my husband surprised me with a trip to Niagara for my birthday, and the first words out of my mouth were, "and we can go to Dillon's!" I was worried it wouldn't be as good as last time- we ran out of our Dillon's during COVID. Dillon's did not disappoint. We had a pairing with 8 different gins, alcohols, and liqueurs with our tasting expert Sara. Sara was absolutely amazing- extremely knowledgeable, polite, had great recommendations, and let us try several other gins and ryes beyond our tasting. The experience was excellent, and everything we tried was amazing. I even bought a melon gin made from cantaloupes, and while I normally don't like cantaloupes, the flavor definitely elevated the gin. I highly recommend a stop at Dillon's if you're in the region!

I am not a gin drinker and I enjoyed everything I sampled. You need to book ahead for a tour. Unfortunately I just discovered the place on a trip. The place is well decorated and staff is very helpful and knowledgeable to help you with your tasting choices. They also have a store to purchase what you have just sampled.

We were already planning to stop at a winery nearby when I noticed Dillon's on the map. We're so glad we stopped! They have some great-tasting gin, vodka & rye. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and more knowledgeable. It's a really nice setting & they have great gift boxes too. We brought back more than we planned (did I mention the staff are good salespeople?) but are very pleased with what we got, including dill pickle vodka. I'm hoping they're back in stock on absinthe when we return.

My husband bought me this gin, he wasnt able to get my regular gin at lcbo so he bought this brand. Well that is now my gin. Fabulous

Beautiful aesthetic, friendly and informative service with $1/per tasting! Proceeds are donated to a charity. However, I must say that the tasting is a bit difficult for someone who doesn't drink hard liquor...straight up. The tasting room can't serve mixed drinks, so tastings are literally served in shot glasses. It's easier for me to determine whether or not I like a gin in a g&t...as opposed to a shot. So if they had an option to order a flight, with a bottle of good tonic, that would've been better for me.

I could not find Fees, Peychauds at the LCBO, but found a few offerings of Dillon's DSB, Lime, Orange. I figured this was the local bitters company who has the market and I was sort of right, they also do spirits and are somewhat near Forty Creek which I had plans to visit anyhow. I picked up the DSB at a local LCBO, but to be honest wasn't impressed, it seemed flat, I could clearly taste clove, raisin, but little else, it was quite light and not quite what I imagined their sort of aromatic/ango equivalent. Looking like a local winery their warehouse looks more like a feed barn with a pottery barn lobby. The layout seemed stark, like sterile, some craft shop. Lined with their gin's, vodka's and bitters they almost had like 3 tasting areas and is probably very busy, just not in the winter on a weekday. They have trinkets and bar tools, books, etc on the side. The tastings seemed confusing on price and everything had to be explained. A simple description of the 2 gin's and the flavorings would suffice. Perhaps I came at it like I'm crafting a menu, although I picked up on the nuances of the spirits I also wondered where I could use their spirits and bitters at home and on a menu that would do better than say a Hendricks, aviation, sky, tito's, ango, fees, ets. I was finding it hard to place, but out of curiousity I picked up a few bottles to ship home. I was most interested in the flavored gins for those who still have a bad taste of juniper from their childhood and the Super small batch bitters (experimental like the Christmas Tree and Espresso I picked up). I had to ship most of it due to Canadian regulations. They did a bang up boutique job of wrapping and ringing us up. The lady working showed no signs of empathy when she said no tours during the slow season and on a weekday. Most of the places we looked for tours were either not doing them in the winter, not doing them on weekdays and/or not doing them at the times I found online. I was pretty frustrated by this point in my trip, but got some guff from her. I eventually won her over, but had she not realized my acumen I'm not sure she wouldn't have lost any other casual novice drinker (as the people before and after us bough 1 bottle). Even my friend who is a local didn't get the attention he deserved considering how much we purchased. I would have bought 1 of everything if I got to try it, if you were enthusiastic and if it was good. All in all I had a great time seeing the store, getting some rare stuff and seeing their variety (albeit not trying all of them). Perhaps the owner (chem professor) needs some advisement on where to take them, it's an open market ripe for the taking and small batch is great, but it's gotta be good and you already seem to have the market tied up a bit.

Really like their product, and going to the source is always fun. Beautiful tasting room. I've been to their juniper event in the summer as well - would recommend. I just grabbed a bottle of their Rye (that bottle is a beaut!) and some of their Maison Shelby pineapple honey gin...yum! Their dry gin is one of my go to favourites.

The friendly staff ask "Do you want a tasting?" the moment I walked in the beautiful space of Dillon's Distillery.... I know I will love this place! A nice break from the wineries in the area and Dillon's products are quite unique: Vodka from Niagara's local grapes, Unfiltered Gin, White Rye from 100% Ontario rye. I just love the smell of the gin as it has this really fruity smell. Matter of fact, the whole place smell like a spa? with all these botanical herbs! I can wait to try their first batch of Canadian Rye Whiskey still ageing in 100% Canadian Barrel that going to release in 2015. If you are visiting in the area, I highly recommend you to drop by and have a tasting at Dillon's Distillery even if you are not a drinker, it still a lot of fun!

This distillery offers a selection of spirits, such as vodka, gin and peach schnapps. It's a trendy place with a young vibe. If you don't like hard liquor, they have a variety of fruity options to satisfy your cravings. This is a hip spot to check out.

If you're in the Niagara region I implore you to check out Dillons Distillery. After taking the tour I was left with a passion for their products. For only $5 one of the distillers (a female distiller! Which was great to see) explained the processes and spoke about her own recipes that she and the other distillers are encouraged to experiment with and try, some of which end up on the shelves. The tour was interesting, given in small groups for plenty of q&a opportunities, not too long and included a few behind the scenes type samples, capped off with a true sample in the tasting room. I've done the Niagara wine route many times before and it's always fun. But if I have guests with me in future I would definitely add this stop to the day. Recommend you call ahead to find out tour times.

Great place to stop by on your way to/from Niagara. It is right off the QEW. I wanted to check this place out after trying some of their gins at bars in Toronto and also seeing their bitters on sale at Labour of Love (http://www.thelabouroflove.ca/). This place can get busy on weekends, but I showed up shortly after they opened (11am) and was able to enjoy tasting their vodka, gin, cherry gin, rose gin, and rye in a quiet, unhurried way. My favourite was the rose gin for sure. Very subtle and delicate flavours. Their regular gin in wonderful too. They also sell a wide variety of bitters as well as gift box sets. I did buy one bottle of gin as a gift and they wrapped it up really nicely. The boutique also carries other cocktail accessories and books. Design junkies will just love this boutique, because such attention is paid to little details like lighting and typeface. If you're lucky enough to swing by during the summer, every Sunday they host "brunch al fresco" -- different food trucks stop by each week and they have a cocktail stand too. There's a nice picnic area and you can enjoy (and sober up) before heading to your next destination. Overall, a fabulous discovery! The staff are knowledgeable and really friendly. Ask them for tips on what to check out in the area -- they are happy to share their favourite spots!

Amy was AMAZING with our taster session. She was helpful and knowledgeable on their products. We enjoyed our time with her. We got to try the whiskey, rye, gin 22, pear eau de vie, cherry gin and the rose gin. Our favourites were the gin 22, rose gin and the cherry gin. The interior is contemporary rustic, super relaxed and fun! Of course we couldn't leave without purchasing a few bottles.

Though you can now get Dillon's rye at the LCBO (gin is in the process of being approved), their distillery out in Beamsville is a cute little stop, not too far off the highway. Take home a neat apothecary style bottle in one two sizes (750ml and 375ml), wrapped in a linen bag stamped with the Dillon's logo. Also available is Vodka and their own line of bitters. Looking forward to some of the upcoming bitters that I sampled - ginger among them. Their white rye is notable because it's made from 100% Canadian rye without ageing and is something a rye lover would appreciate, as most ryes are not 100% rye. My favourite, however, is their gin. Batch #1 was more floral, wheras their current batch #2 leans toward more savoury notes. Every sip has a real depth to it and a lovely finish. Great with some tonic and a splash of lime. Worth a stop if any of this piques your interest. But if you're a gin fan? Make some time.

Definitely do make a stop here for the tour on your way to wine country at Niagara-on-the-Lake. It is great that we have such a passionate small craft brewery here that is churning out some quality products. I am a fan of their unfiltered and rose-hip gin. The tour consists of a walk-around the facility (20 minutes) and then a tasting of all of Dillon's offerings (30 minutes). I really enjoyed both portions of the tour, our tour guide was knowledgable and even downright funny at times. We even got to taste their now out-of-stock small batch absinthe. :-) The tasting room/bar also has all their bottles of bitters that they offer and you are free to sample all of them to your heart's delight. The room itself is delightfully decorated and looks really bright and warm. I came away from the tasting with a bottle of their limoncello. Yay!

Very fancy and clean inside, with a nice layout and $1 serving samples. recommend the various Gins on offer. Did not try the vodka.

Dillon's is a great diversion in the middle of wine country. Here are a few points... 1. They have limited weekend hours during the winter, so check before you set out on a long day trip. 2. They offer a 100% Canadian rye, as well as gin and vodka, which are both grape based, making for a unique taste. 3. The gin has a bit of a grape/floral flavour to it. It was my favourite of the three, smooth enough to sip by itself. 4. Both the gin and vodka are 19.95 for a small 375ml size and 39.95 for 750ml. They are sold in a nice cloth bag (then in a decorative sack) that are perfect for gift giving. 5. They also offer a selection of approximately 8 bitters including a pear and a lemon. The bitters are in the 12$ range for a small bottle. 6. Service here is excellent. While Dillon's might not convert you from your gin or vodka, and 40$ is not a big bargain, I am stoked that there is such a quality, Ontario distillery within an easy drive of Hamilton and Toronto. This is an experience well-worth having.

Originally, I was giddy about the pit stop at Dillon's shortly after they opened. An exciting time in the history of Ontario Liquor to have a hand crafted small batch distiller. It's a breath of fresh air from all the wineries the area is know for. With each trip passing by, we continued this ritual of popping into Dillon's on our way to Niagara-on-the-lake. The space is beautifully uplifting and staff welcoming. The more I tried their offerings, the more I notice their unique characteristics and some tingled my taste buds while others seem to solely belong in mixed drinks. -(3.5)- The ritual will continue until the most exciting moment of all, when Dillon's come out with their Canadian Rye Whiskey in early 2016(hopefully). Wow, it has been 3+ years hasn't it. This Whiskey if I can get a hand on one will boost them from a casual pit stop to an absolute fan on my list.

Decent small craft distillery. Needs more time behind their whiskey personally. Gins flavors are good bitters selection is phenomenal!!

Dillons lived up to the hype! Amongst the wineries it was a nice break to try their liquor. Very hip, young atmosphere and their primary tastings are free. Awesome stop, would highly recommend.

we have stopped in here a few times on our way to NOTL to visit friends and always come away with something different and interesting. This is a fun place to browse and taste a few things our favourite is the gin and the bitters. They have so many great flavours. Our most recent purchase was a three pack with pear, black current and DSB which is their version of Agostura bitters. Haven't tried them yet but they smell amazing. The small bottles come in a wide variety at great prices. You get a better deal if you get the three pack and you can choose any combo you like. they have recently added a rye whiskey to their repertoire but I didn't buy it. I would like to try their new limoncello next time we are out that way. Cheers!

Had a good time coming in and tasting some spirits. We were big fans of the gin, bitters and the orangechello. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. You can get up to 4 tastes each, and you have to pay for them. Its just off the freeway and around a few other wineries. So make a day of it. We did .

Really great distillery. Staff are really fun. Go in for a sample and buy a couple of bottles. My honest review though: - the vodka is not smooth like it claims to be - the unaged white rye is precisely that - unaged. - the gin is spectacular - north american meets european style. I got a whole bunch of bottles of gin as gifts.

They make interesting spirits, and the staff are passionate about their craft. Not always knowledgeably so - I was told that an original old-fashioned was made with muddled orange and cherry - but that said, the spirits really are unique. The gin and 'vodka' have more character than any other gins or vodkas I can think of in Ontario. and there are lots of fun bitters to play with for mixology geeks. The tour and tasting are well worth the time.

We stopped on our way from Toronto to Niagara Falls area. We weren't able to do the tour but the distillery has a quaint gift shop and tasting area. Even though we didn't do the tour we were still able to sample the liquors. We walked out with quite a few bottles and some were very unique like the black walnut amaro, rose gin and cherry gin. They have several flavors of bitters and flavored simple syrups to use in beverages. We can't wait to get home and try out some new concoctions with our purchases. The bathroom is very clean. Friendly staff.

Lovely tasting room and fantastic products. The Rose Gin is our favorite. Certainly worth visiting if you are in Canada!

If you are a Gin drinker this place is for you, but first the decor is incredible, Modern with a touch of old world flair, wood as far as the eye can see while retaining the Sterility of the Modern aesthetic through Walls Floor and Lighting. Fresh booze lines the walls behind the counter creating intrigue about flavors, luckily they do Tasting. (Caution, Don't expect classic flavors to bloom brightly, this place uses grapes for their base alcohol so nearly everything shines brightly from that and not grain.) My group and I did a tasting running through the Vodka, Rye Whiskey and Gin, the Gin is the clear and undoubted winner here, it is clean and smooth while retaining it presence long after it itself has been swallowed due largely to the fact that it is unfiltered, on it you catch the Juniper and Citrus peel immediately and as it finishes you easily catch Lavender and Coriander. This place is worth the trip, and the price is worthy for a bottle, I think it was 35-ish for a bottle of Gin, that's fair if it's good.

Super fun! Great staff, tasty samplings. Good food trucks right outside you can make a whole fun trip of it. The gin was really great. Definitely a good weekend day-trip destination.

One star is for the exceptional gin and delicious bitters. If I was rating just those it would be 4.5 stars but this review is for the distillery. I brought a friend for his birthday so this was disappointing to us both. The only two staff members there barely served us, and with zero smile, snarky comments, and little help. We were the only customers. He and I have backpacked through severely countries together and been close friends since first year university. Dillons' broke our perfect history of great service, fun outings, and awesome rapport with strangers worldwide. The service was so bad it even turned us off the alcohol, so we smiled a gracious farewell and high tailed it off to some bad wineries with great staff where we enjoyed the rest of our day. Thanks for nothing ladies. Shame.

I love dillons gin (the one available at the LCBO). I was so happy we had time to stop in here on our way home from niagara-on-the-lake. Next to KEW Vinyards, this was my favourite stop of the weekend. Bought some rose gin (not available at the LCBO), which is super amazing and the DSB bitters. Gin was $25 for the smaller (300ml?) bottle and $50 for the 750 ml bottle. Bitters were $15 each. They apparently have food trucks/events every Sunday in the summer. If I had more money I would have bought everything they carry. I'm being serious. This is a great small company with a well priced high end product. Just go. Trust me.
