I visited Dillons recently. I was extremely disappointed in the way the Chinese kitchen crew treated me on July 29th 2025. My Son had surgery today and he requested Chinese from Dillons. I guess it must been time for them to close down their kitchen, because the tall thin guy with black glasses kept rushing me, he exclaimed," I already told you we are out of the lemon chicken! So I got orange chicken. I told him I wanted rice I was looking at which one to get then he was inpatient with me again I said, "white rice then I said," no I would like chicken rice he walked up to his steam white rice and scooped it into the tray I said," hey I would prefer the chicken rice but he ignored my request and continued to scoop the white rice in the tray. He was rude and in a hurry to get rid of me. My husband and son were upset with me that I took the food & paid for it. My family said I should have said if your going to treat me in this manner than I'll take my business elsewhere where you are treated with respect and appreciate your spending money at their store. Their food was very low and service was extremely disrespectful. I will not be shopping there again due to such rude employees.

They allow the employees to use the cell phones and to put their cell phones and text messages first before their customers. if you look on the left hand side of the photo right beneath the cash register you can see Jessica's tan cell phone where she is using it as she's taking care of the customers she actually told me to wait one moment so she could finish texting her friend. Jeff the store manager has no regard of customer service either he made excuses.

I love this Dillons. It's small but has most everything I'm wanting to buy. If necessary I can go to a bigger one if necessary. Here you get to know the employees, many have been here for a long time. It's a little quirky with different size aisles for some reason. I can run in quickly and grab something I need or spend an hour getting all my food for the week. I hate the self checkout registers. Every single time I use them I have to have the employee help for some reason. Usually the machine thinks I'm stealing or I have to give them the paper coupons, it's extremely annoying, but not the employees fault. It's a good reason to go to a real cashier and have a nice, fun chat.

If the store is open till 10 PM, I should be able to make it into the store no later than 10 PM. Arrive at 9:50 to shop was told by security. The store is closed. What type of operation is this that you don’t allow your customers to shop into your clothes

I like Dillon’s store. I don’t like that the personal shoppers don’t know how to shop. I used them twice now and won’t do it again. The bananas were almost rotten. Got texts that shopping was being done but not about specific items being replaced. Items substituted were more expensive than original choice. Honestly, Walmart personal shoppers do a better job.

Google
I’m gonna start off by saying I’m not from here and I’m just passing thru. Not sure what management does here or if maybe it was an off day. But a huge self checkout line with 5 employees watching us bag our own stuff was kind of dumb. Could just be policy but seriously couldn’t have opened up a lane with a cashier and bagger to help out??? Could just be a company thing so not trying to point blame to only employees but kind of ridiculous to see more than 4 employees watching a huge self checkout line and not open up a lane to make the line die down. Especially with families doing their big weekly shopping.

Been shopping here for 15 years and counting. Some of the staff have seen my daughter grow up going here when we first started coming here she was a few weeks old! We know where everything is and the prices are always fair. I hope that won't change too much with the tariffs😟

Yelp
Prices here are so much higher than other stores...Walmart getting ridiculous as well. My daughter suggested Aldi's so I'm giving them a try.

Yelp
Store advertising business hours close at 10pm Monday July 1st harry and Woodlawn arrive at door 9:54 pm . Police security says stop let customers in at 9:55 pm . I show her 9:54 and still not let me in . Can't wait to boycott these monopolies business . They think control market and zero services

Yelp
I've lived in various places around Wichita and used many Dillons, but never experienced such rude pharmacy staff who refuse to refill prescriptions. They currently serve too many people to take on any more prescription clients.

Karen P.

Yelp
Watch your receipts, folks! Prices on the shelf are frequently lower than what you're charged at the register. Manager(Central/Maize) had little to say when I brought to his attention. Little to no customer service. I'm so done with dillions

Yelp
So, beware this may be lengthy be I am sharing anyway. I am homebound, relying on the delivery service toget my groceries. I LOVE my Dillons stores, but I willmo longer recommend shopping for pick up or delivery with Dillons or any Kroger store. Dr Pepper is on sale, 4 for $15. Only requirement is 4-12 packs in the same transaction. They had 2-1 lb pkgs of butter on sale, $6.xx. Cherries were $2.99 per pound with card. All of this is important. I add the items to my cart. My card is attached to the login. They add in at full price. I pay full price. If I call, I will get the credit back, but not to my card. It becomes a store credit. I have yet to see any store credit taken off my order. It might be only $3 or $4, but to some that's food one day. I LOVE my store, online and app.shopping? No. I don't like thieves.

Yelp
This is a great grocery store! It was super clean and the lay out was easy to maneuver. I went in to try and find some rubs for grilling. You know Kansas has always put out some outstanding flavors for barbecue. We bought both rubs and sauce that were local. I was disappointed that there was a bigger variety of local flavor. Around us all of the markets have products done locally. Salsas sauces, cookies and tortillas. They carried a lot of rubs and sauces from Texas, Arkansas and Ohio. The cashier was absolutely beautiful inside and out. She was personable and actually interacted with us. I was very glad to see a real cashier not a machine.

Yelp
I have been waiting for 90 min to pick up my $50 Clicklist order. I have used up 90 min of gas sitting here waiting. When I call in they tell me it's on the way out. They also reported that they had 3 people call in. I understand that things happen. But be honest. Call and say it isn't ready. Be solutions minded. This one order has cost me $$$ but more importantly, valuable time. I do Clicklist to save time. Now, I have lost 90 min of orecious time I cannot get back. I would really appreciate a gift card or something for the inconvenience. I have been a weekly Clicklist customer for 6 years.

Yelp
I was waiting at the service area to buy bus passes at my local Dillons store, and had been for several minutes, when a woman with a child came up by my elbow, and started playing with the child. She was acting as though she was going to go ahead of me so I watched her. Sure enough when the person ahead of me left she immediately jumped to the window. I asked her if she was in a hurry and in a Hispanic dialect said to the surprised cashier that she had been waiting for 20 minutes. That was a lie. Is this a sign of the times that Hispanics are now being allowed to do as they usually do-i.e. not stand in line and wait their turn?

Yelp
Absolutely disappointed & much more! We have a corporate retreat with a mission at-risk youth mentoring programs in nature. To save gas dollars as we are not funded outside of ranch. SEVERAL of us seniors meet regularly & the exact same issue with us all STOP CHANGING our ability to do your surveys w/o having us help you advertise for hearing tests & many more. What the heck was wrong with the way it was.

Yelp
This Dillon's is backward to what I'm used to, but I came because I heard about the huge selection of dried fruit and nuts in barrels and self-serve containers. Wow! I'm impressed! I filled a few bags with blueberries, cranberries, walnuts and Brazil nuts. All the ones that make my liver happy. There were lots of great deals this evening. I always enjoy the 10 for $10 deals!. Mix and match all over the store. I will be back to this one often!

Yelp
Went to the deli at 6 pm. The server wanted to charge regular price for a chicken meal when it only had one side left. No substitutions. Poor personal service. So unlike Dillons other services.

Yelp
customer service is horrible in store and on line....I have reported their rudeness on several occasions and I finally have to go to a manager or supervisor level...but I have to to escalate it to a higher level or they won't do anything about it...Dillons put a hold on my account after I contacted them about the groceries that were delivered to me were in poor condition...customer service assured me they would compensate me , but instead they sent an extra charge through on my account, so I reported them to my Apple cc company...and it's was resolved in my favor...and then they put a hold on my account and won't remove it...I spent all day today trying to get them to remove the hold going back and forth between Dillon's and Apple to no avail...my husband passed his benefits were cut off, so I had to apply for food card ...I am disabled and elderly and they will not remove the hold so I can add my food card...so I am not able to get my groceries...Dillon's is the only chain that will deliver to me, I live in a rural community ..but since there is a hold on my account I can not get groceries with my food card and I am going without food .. this is unacceptable ...has anyone else experienced level this of terrible customer service

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoy the salad bar. I don't much shop here due to the higher prices, but at $5.99/lb you can't beat the pileup of delicious vegetables you can create. I did notice today that they use those plastic liners for the soups. That's just lazy and unhealthy. Even though I don't get the soups I wouldn't consider it if it was lined in plastic. Let the dish soak for 5-10 minutes and scrub. Wouldn't take that much elbow grease to get be pots cleaned at the end of the day.

Yelp
Rude employees! Especially late night! Self checkout computer voice is extremely rude. Never been to a store with more handicap parking than people in the store. No more recycle bin, they even charge for cash back.

Yelp
I asked for different people the same question if they refill water here with the glacier refill water machine they all said yes but then I said so you know that they do have it and then they all said well I don't know if they have it but we sell water educate your people in the stores otherwise they seem like morons

Yelp
I am deeply saddened that Dillon's no longer does post office work. It used to be my one stop and go... sometimes I would just go in there to do post office stuff and accidently buy some stuff from the store as well that I was needing so maybe I will save now that it is no longer there. Overall they provide good service here, in addition food samples all over from Sushi, Cheese, Fruit, etc. Sometimes they don't have enough or the products in stock when specific organic goods go on sale like Food Should Taste Good Guacamole chips... oh man those are amazing! I wish there was an easier way to access super high top shelves in the organic section because some my chips I want to grab are way way way up there.... And then I grab maybe 3 bags and move on since I can't find anyone to help me get more down. They have a pretty good salad bar along with cheese & olive bar. The person who usually works in the cheese & olive bar area is super nice and helpful. Always has great suggestions on what to pare the cheese with. The ladies who work in the pharmacy are always nice, even after I have not been picking up my meds from there for a while they still remember me by name and always greet me. You can always expect 100% from them!

Yelp
This is my favorite Dillon's location in Wichita. While the parking lot is a little bit hard to get in and out of once your it is worth it. The staff at this location in particular are incredibly nice. Going above and beyond to say "hello" or "thank you". When I use their salad bar it is so clean like someone is constantly filling and cleaning it. When I see them at other locations they are empty and always have product spilled everywhere.

Yelp
This is a pretty average full fledged grocery store. The review is actually about the Sushi bar inside. Honestly, I don't know what I just consumed even though it said Spicy Tuna roll on the box. I mean there's bad food, and then there's unrecognizably bad food. My sushi lunch from Dillon's falls in the latter category.

Yelp
Wonderful store good deli great employees it is being remodeled right now. The salad bar was taken out sonit would save on waste that was a good start to controlling the waste

Yelp
Horrible parking lot with tons of accidents to start, honestly is a battlefield to make it inside. The Starbucks inside is this Dillons saving grace, pleasant staff and good baristas. Store Management tends to be very lacking at times and rarely handles real issues. On multiple occasions I've witnessed deli staff cross contaminating meats by not cleaning deli slicers. Staff occasionally tends to ignore customer safety hazards like spills. Myself and roommates have witnessed customers fall and get injured due to failure to clean spills throughout the store.

Yelp
Typical grocery store however I have to say that they have (Hildbrand) ROOT BEER MILK!!!!!! I repeat ROOT BEER MILK!!! it is the best milk I have ever had. It taste like a root beer float without the hassle of ice cream and soda everywhere, you can just drink it ...I put it in the freezer. And made like a slushy frosty out of it. It was great I wish we had a Dillions in Houston that way I can continue drinking my ROOT BEER MILK, I'm very sad about that but when I return to Kansas I will make sure I get that again. I researched Hildbrand farms and it is indeed ONLY in Kansas.

Yelp
Dillon's is the major supermarket chain in the Wichita Kansas area. It is affiliated with the Kroger family of markets. Back in California the equivalent would be Ralph's Supermarket. Actually, I believe out Ralph's discount cards are valid here. I stopped at this (one of many) Dillon's Market on the way home from work. I picked up some groceries for my 2 week stay. I had the usual grocery shopping experience. Dillon's seemed to have everything I needed and I was even able to save some money using a club card.
google avatar

Gina R.

Yelp
Gotta love the fact that if you buy more groceries you get a discount on gas.

Yelp
Decent Dillon's I prefer the smaller one in tallgrass because their produce selection is always much better. The avocados at this location always look awful! Love the cafe though! Convenient if you need to grab a meal before you shop.

Yelp
Great store and if you are buying meat there is no better place than Dillon's. One time I went to wal-mart to get the meat and will never do that again.

Yelp
I frequently shop at this Dillons. Over the last year or so, the customer service there has really deteriorated. While there are many helpful employees, some of the checkers leave a lot to be desired. Yesterday, I put my keys on the counter so the checker could scan my card. A moment later when I asked for my keys back, he looked around and couldn't find them. I asked if he had accidentally given them to the lady that was in line ahead of me or put them in one of her bags. He said no because she didn't have a bag. Rather than help look for my keys, he just kept scanning my order. I asked him again to look around for my keys. He glanced around but didn't see them so he went back to scanning my order. I asked again if perhaps he had given them to the lady in front of me. Then (!) a lightbulb went off above his head and he turned around and started hurrying for the door. About that time, the lady that had been in line ahead of me came back in the store and handed him my keys. He came back to the register, handed me my keys, and finished checking out my order. Not one word about giving my keys to someone else. Then, he left the groceries sitting there and begin to process the next person's order. By that time I was a little ticked off, so I just stood there until he finally put my groceries in the cart. He never spoke to me or said anything about losing my keys. Thank goodness the lady that had them was kind enough to return them.

Yelp
ive shopped at dillons for about 5 years now. this is the typical major store, like walmart, food for less, ect.

Hallie J.

Yelp
Inside of a Dillion's it looks just like a smiths or fries. So if you trust smiths or fries your in the right place. Fresh fruit and veggies. Sushi can be found there too. At Dillion's you can use your smiths card or fries card to get discounts. Shopping is so much easier at Dillion's!
