I was very impressed by the huge restaurant, nice authentic experience! The dim sum menu options and portions are perfect! There's pictures on the menu so you know exactly what you're ordering- super helpful! Nice quiet friendly atmosphere with plenty to look at. Food is fresh and served quickly. On Saturdays it gets crowded quick but the food is served on carts for you to choose from so many choices!

I was highly impressed with my first visit. The ambience is so cultural and inviting. The customer service was excellent. Staff catered to the needs of our group, without us having to ask. Food was amazing 👏! I enjoyed everything that 😋 was brought out. I enjoyed watching the big screens that displayed menu items and what the restaurant has to offer ( if having events catered etc.) I highly recommend this wonderful place for a quiet dinner 🍽 alone, with family, friends, or any event. 10 thumbs 👍 🌟 🤩! Top tier quality for sure! I am looking forward to visiting sooner than later!

Google
Pretty lit dim sum! They have alot of options to choose from whether if it is your first time here or your 10th time here. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was awesome! Definitely bring your date here. Lobster was delicious! This is one of the first places I've seen that has live eel so I will need to try that the next time I'm back!

Google
This place is amazing! Traditional Cantonese food and Dimsum! Service is remarkable! Love this place and ordered some extra food to take home! Will Definitely go back next time we are in the area again!

We placed a BBQ duck to go on Mother’s Day. We’ve waited 40 minutes, still no duck so I asked them to void it cause I understand it’s busy on Mother’s Day. Jackie Voided and even signed his name on the voided reciept. I’ve made several calls and they kept on saying it will take a few days. It’s been 10 days still no money back in my bank account. I went in to talk to them, they said the problem is MY BANK and NOT THEIRS. I checked with my bank and they said they don’t see anything. It’s only $42 not a big deal! I just don’t like getting scammed even if it’s one penny! You guys are big business don’t do this. You need to take action for your responsibility instead of playing the blame game!

Google
The food was amazing!!! So flavorful and savory. For three people we only paid $48 and the servings were generous! The ambience is also great, it's nicely decorated and there are live eel/lobster tanks. The only downside to those is that they were a bit noisy due to the fan, etc. But, I would definitely come eat here again.

Google
FOOD IS VERY GOOD!!! Their menu has a very wide variety of Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean foods and more. I have been here multiple times and the food and service has been excellent every time. Staff has been so nice and food comes out quick! Dim sum is also really good! They have a fried sticky rice with crab as one of their specialty and I have not seen this dish at any other Asian restaurant I've been to. It is different but delicious!! I also recommend Singapore noodles, steamed cold chicken, Salted egg shrimp (AMAZING), pea plant stir fry, and the deep fried braised cod fish! So many good dishes here. I am a usual customer for sure!

Yelp
Went to dinner Sunday, August 17th and our meal was super tasty. I enjoy supporting this restaurant as the food is consistent and delish! The service has always been cordial and efficient. The restaurant has been remodeled some since they placed fancy partitions to make some booths. The restaurant is decorated with Asian flair. We had stir fry cauliflower dish that was simple and flavorful. The beef flat noodles were very good with tender beef and perfect noodles. The Peking style pork was velvety and not too sweet. The walnut shrimp needed a few more walnuts but the shrimp and sauce were quite fabulous. We also ordered a tofu dish that was new to us. It had fried tofu, bok choy and other veggies. The gravy was light and completed the dish. Our first noodle dish was like a simple egg noodle or maybe it was some type of rice noodle. It was okay. We ordered some cheung fun, har gow, and siu mai. All great dim sum dishes. I am sure we will return as the food is awesome.

Yelp
Great menu, fresh ingredients and true Chinese food (don't worry, they have your Americanized Chinese faves too). We started off with Sizzling Chicken and added some of my Dim Sum faves (Soup dumplings, BBQ Pork buns, Siu Mai). Added a Chinese broccoli and then a little dessert (sesame ball). The place gets a bit crowded after 6, but overall quick and helpful service. If you've never tried dim sum, this is a good spot to start.

Yelp
BEST DIM SUM EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! | | This has got to be by far the best dim sum I have had in a lonnnnnnngggg time! I don't live here and I'm only in town for the weekend, but I saw that this place has dim sum ALL WEEK LONG, and after looking at the menu their dim sum looked incredibly appealing! Now looks can be deceiving; I know it's in a quieter shopping plaza with not much around, and it looks small from the outside, but when I tell you then can fit at least 100 people in here you can! Service was pretty good, we got drinks right away but it did take a few minutes for them to realize we were ready to order. That's okay though, they bring each item out individually as it is ready, so the food is extremely hot and fresh! AND THE PRICES!!!! Everything is literally such a good deal, every dim sum plate is between 5-7$ and the best deal we got was a generous amount of roasted duck (K43) FOR 8$!!! It was very delicious and moist, and all of that for only 8$ was crazy! We ordered 10 plates from the dim sum menu and the duck for around 75$ and I think that was a very great deal. Staff was very nice and good at what they do, I wish I could go back!!

Yelp
Great for birthday parties!! They have a huge round table in their King Room that can comfortably fit 16 people. Food was delicious. We had an assortment of authentic Chinese food. Would highly recommend to all.

Yelp
BEST DUMPLINGS! I love this place and look for any excuse to visit. It's also fun to visit the local bookstore novel afterward and get a book! Or head to Penzeys. There's just a lot of stuff around here so I like to make a day of it and visit this place and a few other places. I hear they have karaoke in the back so I def wanna check that out sometime! I LOVE the dumplings here. They are so tasty and I want to try every dumpling they have. I've never heard of Tong Cho Shrimp but it was delicious. I also loved the chicken noodles. It sounded super basic but it tasted super delicious. I'd definitely try some more noodle dishes next time. The duck wasn't really that tasty. We ended up with a lot of bones in the meat part and I wasn't really that fond of the fried skin. I also wasn't fond of the Lobster Fried Rice but that's a personal preference- I don't like having to fight for my food. So both dishes required me to fight to get the meat either off the bone or out of the shell, which is why I didn't like either of them. No surprise that I loved the Broccoli and Beef as it is a childhood favorite and I seem to like it everywhere. However, the Chicken Broccoli we tried had a tasty flavor that worked really well with the chicken but for some reason didn't work as great with the broccoli for me. On another visit a lady came around with appetizers on a cart for people to grab. My friend got sesame balls and I got some sort of dumplings. The receipt said they were fried shrimp balls. They are my new favorite and I had to hold myself back from ordering more. The Kung Pao Chicken was ok but better with the chili oil they brought to the table.I think the one downside to this place is that they tend to put the entire table on one ticket. They can split it at the end but it does make things more complicated. I'll have to ask next time if it has to be on the same ticket at first or not. Another way around this is for everyone to just bring cash. To Try: All dumplings all noodle dishes Moo Goo Gai Pan Xianen Rice Noodles Fried Dumpling Loved: - Beef and Broccoli - Dumplings: Cilantro - Dumplings: Fried Shrimp Balls (NEW FAV) - Dumplings: Shrimp Haw Gow - Noodles: Beef with Rice Noodle (FAAAV!) - Noodles: Chicken with Pan Fried Noodles - Tong Cho Shrimp Liked: - Dumplings: Soup - Noodles: Stir Fried with Soy Sauce - Sesame Chicken - Soup: Egg Drop Ok: - Appetizer: Baked BBQ Pork Buns - Braised Pork with Preserved Vegetables - Bun: Pork - Chicken Broccoli - Chicken over Chinese Greens (bok choy) - Fish: Steamed Whole Cod - Kung Pao Chicken Disliked: - Appetizer: Sesame Balls - Appetizer: Spring Rolls - Fried Rice: Sticky Rice with Lobster - Noodles: Chicken Pan Fried - Peking Duck

Yelp
Solid Dim Sum option in the greater Memphis area! The gailan, juupu cha (chrysanthemum and Puer tea), and Turnip cake were all really good.

Yelp
We go there periodically primarily for Dim Sum. It's the go to place for that type of food in my opinion On weekends they serve the dim sum using steamed push carts. On Fridays you can order most of the dim sum items off the menu. On weekdays I suspect they do the same but a not sure since don't go there for it on week days. Most of the standard food ( har gaw, sui mei, cheung fun, sticky rice, baos , etc) items are very good and reasonably priced for this area. Expect to overall spend around $20-25 per person. The ambience on weekends is noisy and busy especially Sundays. The eatery is filled with plenty of Asians in weekends as families gather.

Yelp
Lunch on a Wednesday. We almost didn't stop bc we saw a line of people outside. It was actually for the OMV next door. Dining was clean. Food was good and authentic. We had house fried rice, sesame balls, roasted duck, roasted pork, imperial chicken, steamed pork buns and egg tart. Dishes were better than on point. We couldn't find anyone to refill out drinks though. It was a one cup wonder until we were about to pay our check at the front. A lady came running to our table with the pitcher so we inhaled what we could and left. The egg tarts came out first and really stole the show.

Yelp
8-30-25 The place is where you go to get a dim sum and the customer services is still good. The dim sum is still pretty good and they were quick to serve you. The owner Kobe had time to thank us for coming. We enjoyed the experience and we will be back.

Yelp
My husband and I have been here a few times before, but only once did they have the carts going around. This past weekend was my mom's birthday and she was visiting us for the holidays, so we took her here for her birthday dinner since we have a traditional "eat noodles for long life" on birthdays. Upon arrival we were seated right away. I noticed the carts weren't going around so we just have to order off menu. It took a few minutes before someone came to get our drink orders and then about another five or so for someone to come back to take our food orders. I was only able to get a few pics since they didn't come out at the same time and we were already eating when the others came. Pictured : for my mom's noodles she ordered the beef pan fried. She loves the veggies that come with it and the sauce was a perfect ratio to the noodles. Roast duck is always a must. The meat was nice and tender, and no need for plum sauce as its own sauce was great with it. My mom loves egg tarts and had to try it here. She said it reminded her of the ones back home. The tart was perfect and no too sweet for her. Not pictured: my husband and I ordered the shrimp pan fried since my mom is allergic to shellfish. They gave a good amount of shrimp that we had leftovers of it. For dim sum we ordered the pork and shrimp shu mai, soup dumplings and steamed bao. Shu mai is always a must in dim sum. My boys love the soup dumplings as they are a perfect meat ratio in them. And my little ate all the steamed bao to himself. They are a perfect size for him. Overall the food here is great. We have yet to eat something that we didn't like. I wish we knew the time frame of the carts because that's the whole experience of a dim sum place.

Yelp
Oh yeah, this one is another local gem. It's about as close as you'll get to dim sum out here. The experience is similar as I remember it out west in SGV, CA. There's some differences, but overall a solid experience. If you're in a big enough party, you'll definitely get the big round tables that can be filled with all the glorious options that are carted out to you. The place is also huge, and everyone carting the food is super nice. Cilantro dumplings were a 5/5. Chinese broccoli, too good. Chinese bbq pork buns, 5/5. Steamed pork buns, solid. Fried pork buns, yup another 5/5. Steamed flat rice noodles with beef, YES. Fried shrimp, can I get another 5/5? They also have a diverse menu that features "Americanized Chinese" like lo mein. I helped myself to an order of chicken lo mein and beef ho fun noodles. Both are FULL of flavor and cooked to perfection. Absolutely delicious noodles. This was plenty enough to have left over for the after at home. I seriously wish I could eat more, it was all too good. Honestly, this one started as a 4/5 but thinking about it... I really didn't feel right not giving it a 5/5. It was that good. I can't wait to go back, so I can load up on some more beef ho fun and delicious dumplings.

Yelp
Very nice staff. Do not eat off the American menu. Very very bad food. Traditional menu had very very good food. I just couldn't eat much because I don't eat pork so I personally wouldn't go back.

Yelp
Delicious standard dimsum offerings. Delivery option makes this my dependable and trusty go-to; spacious for sit-in. Friendly and patient service!
google avatar

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place because I love dim sum and the reviews were good.... Service was slow, despite only four tables of people in the whole place. Steamed pork buns were ok. 'Supreme' noodles were ok, but over priced. The filling of the honeycomb taro dumpling tasted like the smell of wet dog food and looked like it too. The cilantro dumpling filling did not look cooked so we didn't even try it. Soup dumplings were ok. They also set someone else's order of tripe on our table while giving us our food and it did not help my appetite.
google avatar

Yelp
Very slow service and vey unorganized! The building is too large , not good decor ( large computer signs everywhere) but slow and very poor management. Located next to the drivers license center . Has people hanging in looking in front? Poor parking because of that. They try hard individually, however good management and a better location may save them?
google avatar

Yelp
Wide variety of very yummy goodies. Friendly servers use roving carts to deliver everything to your table. Big place with PLENTY of space so you don't feel cramped. Great parking.

Yelp
Got dim sum to go. They had a great selection and it was much better than I anticipated! I imagine it would have been even better fresh and table side. Wish I could have eaten in with the carts!

Yelp
This is my family's go to spot. We probably go here 2-3 times a month and it always hits the spot. The waiters are just the best. The food comes out fast too. Ever since the change of owner, it has really improved.

Yelp
After traveling all day instead of trying Memphis barbecue. We decided to try dim sum for the first time. The inside is really nice with plenty of seating, parking lot is shared with other businesses but definitely no issues with parking. The service was friendly and fats. We did decide to rate the small dishes 1 to 10. 1 being ewww to 10 would Definitely recommend and will order again Keep in mind we got all of this food for $64.00 which to us was a great deal. BBQ Pork Pastry Puffs Tom 7 Me 5.5- the flakey crust was so buttery and the inside was sweet and tender with pieces of pork. To me this dish was to flakey for me not enough eat to Pastry ratio. BBQ Roasted Duck Tom 9 Me 4- This was definitely his favorite dish we had, but me to many small bones for the amount of meat you get off a piece. The sauce was really good but did have a black licorice taste. I would pass on this dish BBQ Roast Pork Ribs Tom 9 Me 10- hands down my favorite dish. It was like eating little burnt end rib nuggets. So juicy with a sweet BBQ caramelized to perfection Roast Pork Belly Tom 9.5 Me 10- so many different textures all in one piece, you taste a porkchop, bacon, and a pork rind. No sauce even needed. Just pop these little babies right in your mouth and enjoy. Sweet n sour chicken Tom 9 me 9- huge portion which is totally shareable. The sauce is not to sweet and very good. Shrimp and Pork Siu Mai Tom 6.5 Me 1- nope never again maybe this was a texture thing for me but the taste reminded me of what a fish bowl smells like. This was a pass for me Soup Dumplins Tom 8.7 Me 10- perfectly cooked little dumplins with a nice broth and a pork inside this was a tie for me on the best dish. Definitely make sure to try this place out and order multiple small dishes like we did and share

Yelp
Everything is amazing and highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed! Food rocks, service was spot on and ambience was very chill! Good Chinese food has been found in Memphis!

Yelp
New change in ownership and this place is massively huge for any party or banquet you need. Sundays are traditionally dim sum days for the family. So get there early for the lunch rush and bring a table full of people. Shumai and har goas are your go tos for starters. They have staff pushing steam carts full of tasty goodies. Also another cart with baked pastries. Never cold go wrong with baked or steamed char sui baos. If you're not feeling fancy for dimsum-check the menu! Full of something for everyone!
google avatar

Mimi A.

Yelp
Really I wanted to like this place as it's the only one I've found with Hong Kong style fried lobster, which I love. However, The flavors just aren't... giving. In fact there wasn't much flavor at all. The hot and sour soup had the orange sweet and sour sauce for some reason?? It was pretty mid. Service wasn't bad, kinda hard getting what we wanted.

Adam F.

Yelp
Wish I had pictures, but great food and great environment! Extremely clean and good prices. Will be back again!
google avatar

Melanie S.

Yelp
Went for a celebration and we were in a private room. There was karaoke and they came to help turn on the equipment when requested. The food was good and flavorful. We had a variety of dishes including lobster, fried rice, service was timely and accommodating. If you live there and go often you should get the membership. I believe it's 10% off each time. Can get roast duck or lobster up to 10 times and free soft drink and tea.

Yelp
New Dim Sum King is in town! Newly revanished of the old Asian Palace which was much needed. The dim sum is very good here compared to before. One of the best in Memphis! My favorites so far has got to be the Chicken feet. Best I've had in awhile hands down. Cooked just right and not too salty or sweet. Try it out you won't be disappointed. Other items that we had tried were pork ribs in black bean sauce (very good), pineapple buns, pork buns, shu Mai, fried shrimp rolls, salt pepper shrimp, shrimp stuffed with tofu, egg tarts. We reqlly had a variety of dishes from pea plant to beef chow fun from the menu as well. One of the kids favorites. All in all, new Chinese joint with good dim sum in Memphis that's served daily. The staff is attentive and courteous. Try to get their early on Sundays if you plan to go. They open at 10am!
google avatar

Yelp
4.5 stars, rounding up because, honestly, you ain't gonna find many other restaurants like this in Memphis. Also, we've eaten at their voluminous restaurant and also had their delivery. Eating at the restaurant is about twice as good as delivery. With delivery you're gonna get the old food that no one wanted... Eating in it's always fresh. So you've been warned... I appreciate their roast duck and pork. Like I said, getting these Cantonese dishes is difficult in Memphis. They also make some decent dumplings. Pretty good turnip cake. Overall, their dim sum is about as good as I've had in NYC. That's just a minor compliment because NYC dim sum pales in comparison to dim sum in Canada or on the West Coast... Anywho, final warning- don't order non-Cantonese dishes from here. Otherwise, check them out... The DMV is right next door, so you can take your frustrations with you and eat them away...

Yelp
Visited last month and it was ok. The service was not very attentive and we had to get up and go to the front to get a server to help us after sitting for 20 minutes. The food was not very good and lacked flavor. The soup dumplings were empty like just meat, no soup at all. We ordered 15 items and only liked one thing. I've had amazing dim sum and this didn't quite hit the mark.
google avatar

Yelp
Good Korean bbq. Cost is about the same as most other Korean hotpot/bbq. Wait staff is good. Food comes out quick.

Yelp
Great food, great service. Best Chinese I've had in years. Don't miss out. Food comes out extremely fast and fresh.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything I have gotten to eat from here is 10/10. The beef is tender, the wings are bomb, the rice is so flavorful. Easy 5 (I should note that I've never eaten there in person so I can't speak to the service, but I would still eat there even if they cursed me out!!!)
google avatar

HsiaoCheng W.

Yelp
The service wasn't very good. Everyone except one guy seemed short on kindness and patience. Still $2.50 a person for shared tea. Man. I really like yes with my dim sum but I feel too guilty drinking from a shared pot at that rate. Easily more than $100 for lunch for 2 adults plus a kid and my dad, the latter two hardly ate too. We one thimble of hot sauce to share amongst us. I guess it's expensive since it's not on the table like most dim sum places.

Yelp
This is a great place for Memphis Dim Sum. Have been several times and it is always fun and good service. Wait staff are also willing to take the time to explain things when asked nicely!

Yelp
I recommend this place for its ambiance and good food! Came with a friend! Lovely service!

Yelp
For Memphis, this is a great and very solid dim sum place!! They actually come around with the carts! The restaurant is huge, and it can get pretty busy on the weekends. They have such an extensive menu, you will not go hungry and you'll want to come back and try other dishes. Some of the dim sum dumplings are just ok, but they are a good portion and size. Their vegetable dishes are great, especially the sauteed snow pea tips. Contrary to some reviews below, I thought the shrimp har gow wasn't that great, but the sesame balls I really liked!! Hot off the cart, chewy, and good red bean flavor. Can't wait to come back and eat more! The staff works hard, so service is not an issue.

Gail B.

Yelp
Dim sum was great. Carts came around often. Food was delicious and prices were reasonable. We will be back soon! Decor cute.

Yelp
The food was great.. if you're in Memphis, please give it a try. The price is decent and the service is great. Restrooms are clean. Always love love Asian food..

Yelp
The food was very good- best in the area. I am guessing that it was recently sold because it was recently redecorated
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Was hoping with the new owners things would really improve. Seems mostly the same really though and while this place used to have the best homemade egg rolls they now use food service egg rolls. So really overall it's probably a drop Asian Palace

MN P.

Yelp
Food was delicious! Fast service. Traditional Chinese restaurant ambiance. Will go back when visiting Memphis. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Thankfully Memphis has a decent dim sum place!!! Now is it the best dim sum I've had, no. Their flavors are close but a little bland. Got it takeout and food was delivered hot and fresh. I love that they include chili sauce which added a lot of flavor. I will definitely be eating there again and can't wait to try in the restaurant

Yelp
Finally found a good dim sum place in Memphis! My family visited for Saturday lunch and were seated immediately at a round table. We preferred the table over a booth because we figured the food carts would circulate around tables more. As soon as we were seated, the dumpling cart came by, so we grabbed a few dishes to start - shrimp dumplings, steamed pork buns, and chicken feet. We then ordered our drinks, including jasmine tea, and a bowl of rice. LOOOVE the pork buns - they're a MUST have item for me at dim sum. Chicken feet were pretty good, too - I find them a lil hard to eat, but I love the crunchy small bones/cartilage pieces. Then came other carts, so we grabbed some Chinese broccoli as a veggie dish and pork belly. The pork belly was so juicy! Then, we saw someone walking around with a tray of meats, including BBQ roasted duck, so we got one of those. And then some stir fry noodles and finally, for dessert, the sesame balls with red bean inside. The duck was cooked very nicely, with lots of sweet flavor on the skin. The noodles were pretty good too, although I was getting pretty full by then. Loved the sesame balls, of course. In total, our meal for a family of 4 was less than $100! I'd say the prices are very reasonable and affordable here, and the service is pretty good, too!

Ashley B.

Yelp
Delicious food! Lots of options to choose from. Everything we tried was good. I recommend the shrimp & chive dumplings, the soup dumplings, and the Chinese broccoli w/ oyster sauce.

Ht K.

Yelp
We were there for lunch yesterday. We ordered full course dinner. While everyone else was ordering dim sum. For the dinner, they are usually consistent with the large portion and the quality of the food. The food came out fast and the customer services is excellent. We really enjoy the food.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
I was really nervous to try Dim Sum King after years of loving Asian Palace, but all of the dim sum cart chaos, deliciousness, and range of items are still there! The bathrooms got a major update, the walls got painted, and the ping pong cake is (unfortunately) gone from the deli case and replaced by more traditional Chinese desserts. I think I saw red bean jelly and osmanthus jelly. Service was a little crazy on their second weekend open, but I found the carts came around frequently and we were eating and drinking jasmine tea in no time. Prices are higher which is my only complaint, but I still think they're solid prices. Most items were exactly as I remember, although the egg custard tarts were slightly larger and the har gow wasn't quite as pleasantly salty. I particularly liked trying some spare ribs I hadn't tried yet that were glazed with a bbq type sauce, but they were larger than I'm used to. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
The food was pretty tasty. Service was a little off. I waited an extended amount of time because they forgot to make on of my dishes. The ambiance is nice. This would be a great place for date night or a work lunch. I would recommend hiding that eel tank. That thing looks horrible.

Yelp
Dim sum Saturday lunch is the best!! Such a variety it's almost like being in New York City cool place the people watch too such a big variety of dim sum. They just walk around with the carts and you just pick what you want. This service the attention is superb.
