Din Ding Dumpling House Fremont

A friend recommended this spot, so I swung by to try a few things. The soup dumplings were easily the highlight—super homey, warm, and hit the spot. I also had the spicy noodles, which were solid. However, I’d skip the sliced beef next time. It was served cold and felt pretty bland. I was surprised by the thick layer of cold fat on the meat; without any tendon or seasoning to balance it out, the texture was a bit tough to get through. Not really what I’m used to, so it wasn't for me.

Amazing food. Great atmosphere. There is waiting at peak time. The soupy dumplings were amazing. Would go there again and recommend the place.

The food is amazing! We were sitting where we could actually see them making out soup dumplings (That's not what they call them but it's how I remember them, sorry about that). Algiers of the food was so delicious. We went there for Christmas dinner. There was so much food we had leftovers for Christmas Day, too. Highly recommend!

A new location in the new downtown fremont. Parking may be a bit difficult in front but there are parking lots on the side. The entrance is at the corner of the building Their dumplings and wontons are the best of the location and definitely has good flavor Overall great place to dine for both families and couples!

I am giving 1 star because of the STAFF’S DISRESPECTFUL ATTITUDE TOWARD CUSTOMERS. Today (3/7/26), two friends and I chose Bin Bing Dumpling House in Downtown Fremont for lunch. We ordered quite a lot of food and also placed a to-go order. We had been sitting, eating, and chatting for about 35 minutes when two different staff members came to our table asking, “Do you need boxes for leftovers?” At that time my friend was still eating, and we told them we had not finished yet. There was clearly still food on the table. About 5 minutes later, an older female staff member came to our table and said, “Are you finish? Thank you. Bye.” She then started clearing our table without permission in a very rude manner, even though we were not done eating. I felt extremely upset by this behavior. At that moment, there were only two customers waiting outside. If the restaurant needs to limit dining time, they should clearly communicate that policy, or politely speak with us if they needed the table. Instead, the way this was handled felt very unprofessional. We pay to enjoy our weekend time and a pleasant dining experience with friends, not to be treated with disrespect.

The food was decent. By Bay Area standards, everything was just fine, but no stand-outs. Here’s the thing: dining out is about more than just the food. Yes, the freshness & quality of the ingredients is certainly important, as is preparation and presentation. Again, those things were fine. But the customer service, as well as the overall ambiance in the restaurant, was not great. Which meant the overall EXPERIENCE wasn’t great. Full-service restaurants are a dying thing. I know it’s hard to run such a place. I guess that’s why everyone orders take-out and delivery. It’s a shame, because I love going out and eating IN a restaurant. Please pay more attention to your customer service—the guest experience—and the environment that you create inside the restaurant. This “could” be something great. Fremont desperately needs more locally owned/operated, full-service restaurants. Not chains, not cheesy franchised fast-food or fast-casual “order at a kiosk” and pick up at a counter type places. But if it’s going to be full-service, please put some more effort into training staff, and creating a more friendly, more interesting and inviting atmosphere for those of us spending our hard-earned money for an evening out. Thanks.

This restaurant with a decent ambience in Fremont serves authentic Chinese cuisine. Despite being a spacious place, there was a crowd waiting to be seated so prior booking is recommended. One places orders here by ticking off on a printed menu list and handing it over to the hostess. The dishes are served very hot, typical of this type of cuisine and in quick succession with a ticking off of the dish that has been served. We had a combination of vegetable starters such as garlic spinach and mushrooms in vinegar, spicy noodles soup and a few meat dishes including dumplings and chicken wings. The service was very quick and efficient, the dishes not too spicy and authentic. If you are in the area and are desirous of having authentic Chinese cuisine, this could be a place to visit

Great food at a good price, the restaurant also has a nice atmosphere to it. It can get pretty busy during dinner, but nothing too crazy. I recommend their Fried Rice and String Bean dishes. Although the trophy goes to the Chocolate Xiao Long Bao! Highly recommend it!
