Ding-a-Wing

I've been wanting to try this place for a while but it was too far now their new location is more convenient. Their prices are fair compared to most places. The chicken sandwich was good. It was not the best and I wished they offered both white and dark meat. The fries were excellent however.

The menu items can be found at the Smith House restaurant within their menu. There is no longer any sign on the window to indicate but I thought this would help others. We got the grilled hot and sweet sandwich and the classic fried chicken sandwich. Both amazing. Don't tell anyone. Run there. Server was also extremely nice.

Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts! Honey Dill Sandwich - bun was cold and very basic, reminds me of McD's, deflates easily and tastes a bit bland. The chicken was crispy and juicy, with some mild pickles and a dill mayo that was quite aromatic. Honey flavour was overpowered by mayo and wasn't too perceptible.

Big Mat Sandwich is a Must Try! .. This is one of the Greatest Sandwich Shop on Roncesvalles.. Fries and Gravy, top of the line .. I wish I knew about this place earlier! It beats out all the fast food joints. Great spot!

A+++ for the name alone! But WOW the food does not disappoint either. This hole in the wall spot has some of the best chicken strips I have ever had. Make sure you try the honey dill sauce because it is something truly special. The perfect down to earth spot for some delicious food and drinks and conversation with friends.

I came here after hearing about how good the fried chicken is. Unfortunately, the chicken wings were very disappointing. I had an order of chicken wings and they were missing flavors. They were crispy but very blend.

It was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life. Very juicy!!! I ordered medium heat and it was on point. The fries were also crispy and delicious. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back! Ding a Wing is definitely number 1 in Toronto

Excellent food. We had their fried chicken sandwich, smash burger, and the poutine. All were very good. Probably one of the better smash burgers I’ve had in a while. Def worth checking out.
