Beef soup was very good, nailed the mala without making it too spicy for the kid in the group. Stir fry chicken noodles were good but 75% cabbage. Fried rice was great but the pork chop was only OK, very small and fatty. Beef rolls also not great, they were very dry.

Google
Delicious comfort food with lots of options and good portions. They have a wide variety of noodles, rice, wontons, and others. Everything was delicious and amazing value. The staff are very friendly and treat you like family. The interior is very clean and aesthetic.

Google
Excellent choice for chinese noodle soup. But my recommendation is the cold plate spicy appetizer!

Gus Zdanovich

Google
Pretty amazing section style cuisine! The spicy beef noodle soup , Dan Dan noodles, scallion pancakes, and Xiaongnbao were among the very best we've ever had. Okay prices and plenty of parking. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Google
Ordered beef rolls Shanghai style, Shanghai style pan fried noodle, and Steamed Shanghai style dumplings. The beef rolls were a cold style serving, 6 rolls of pretty good size. Beef to roll ratio was good, cilantro was not overpowering, and the hoisin sauce was a good amount (not overdone). If you prefer it served cold, these are great. The noodles were plentiful and the flavor permeated the semi-thick noodles quite well. The dumplings were fine, definitely enough to hit the spot or craving but not the top pick of the meal. Not too busy for a Sunday mid-afternoon, service was fast and easy.

Google
Really friendly staff. Their Dan Dan Noodles are one of best versions.

Google
Update: Such great staff and wonderful food!!!! Why didn't any of my friends tell me about Dan Dan myun?!?!?!! Disgraceful friends!!! Crazy good food here! The Dan Dan myun extra spicy!!! Let's go to battle!!!!

Got take out. It was ready faster than expected. Forgot to take pictures of everything. Braised beef noodles, beef shank, grandma’s drunken fish, beef rolls, green onion pancake were all excellent. Staff was friendly. The interior was clean and nice.

Yelp
Beef noodle soup is top notch here. They serve the spicy variety (with numbing peppers). The noodles are perfectly cooked. I am also a big fan of their pork chop fried rice and rice cakes. The portions are huge. The waitress is very sweet and remembers repeat customers.

Ella H.

Yelp
Their signature cold dish - Jiao Huo Jiao Huo used to be my favorite. However, on a recent visit, it was very disappointing. Overall, food is too SALTY. If they can dilute it down a bit to reserve various tastes, it would be more preferable. The Shanghainese style pork with noodle soup is good though. Still recommend the fish if you come here.

Yelp
One thing is for certain during Christmas evening: at least one Chinese restaurant will be open. And so here we were, dinner time, and this really popular spot was packed as hell man. Not sure how we found parking, but we did. Looked like everyone in the SGV decided to come here at the same time. To be honest, I don't know how their staff was able to manage the crowd here. Just really commendable watching them hustle to get the orders in (they were also taking phone orders as I noticed a line of Uber Eats guys waiting outside). Got seated after about 20 minutes. This spot is pretty spacious, with lots of seating. Wanted to peak and see how they managed to take in all these orders. That kitchen was getting hammered this evening. Side note: as I was walking to my car afterwards, I saw one of the cooks seated outside taking a break. He looked like he was crying :( poor guy. Anyway, it's really hard to describe the menu. There are so many items on here, and it's not just Chinese food. They have Italian pasta dishes here as well. Pasta did come from China, so I guess it makes sense. Also, some of these dishes are served as individual dishes, not a la carte, so they come with side dishes like rice and noodles. So make sure that you know what you're ordering, otherwise you're going to get a ton of food! Ordered the following: - Fried chicken steak - 9/10: Damn man. This is a bomb dish. Two large thighs, skin on, pressed down and fried. The skin is crispy and the meat is juicy. Came with veggies, mashed potatoes and your choice of rice or spaghetti (yep). Also, you can choose your own sauce. Got the garlic sauce that paired very well with this. - Filet mignon beef - 8.5/10: This was a bonafide 12 oz. filet mignon, not some dainty 6 oz. finger app. At the price they were selling it at, this is a steal for sure. - Yang Chow Fried Rice - 8/10: Plain looking dish that looks pretty generic. But the flavor is awesome. Tasted fresh and nicely tossed. This was not your typical fried rice. I was expecting our orders to take some time, but it only took around 15 minutes for these dishes to come. The food didn't appear rushed as well. Everything was well crafted. Again, I don't know how these guys were able to keep up with the demand and still produce quality food. Kudos to the staff here. Make sure you tip them accordingly!

Yelp
Ding's Garden is one of the go to places in Arcadia for great food. They used to be only half the size and then they expanded out so now the restaurant is double the size. Prior it was a very small space and they took over the unit to the left of them so now it's considerably bigger. They have a very elaborate menu of different items. Some of the dishes we typically get are the the Ding's special cold plate, the pork chop rice, the idiot's dry noodle, the beef noodle soup, and the xiao long bao. There's lot of great items here and you pretty much can't go wrong. The wait staff was very helpful and courteous and they were very attentive and they were constantly filling our water cups. Overall, it was what I expected from here. Parking can be a little bit hit or miss but right outside the restaurant shouldn't be too bad but it can be a little hectic at times.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place and what a great surprise! Food and service were excellent. Had the pork chop with fried rice, XLB, and beef noodle soup. Everything was delish. XLB was hot, fresh, and juicy. Fried pork chop was crispy and moist, and a nice balance against the other items we orders. The star was the beef noodle soup. Served in a very large bowl - huge portion. Had medium spice and it was perfect for us. Carried enough heat to make it exciting and enjoyable. Good flavor and tender beef. Service was great. Very friendly and regularly checked in on us. Dishes came out quickly. Really enjoyed this place and looking forward to coming back.

Eliza O.

Yelp
Stopped by here for an unplanned dinner and I'm glad we did! Really good food, especially the beef noodle soup. Really good portions with veggies and tender meat. Medium spicy was just right (although may be too spicy for some). Also had the xiao long bao (really good when it's hot but be careful) and pork chop rice (good crisp and came with fried rice). Everything was tasty and the people serving us were attentive and friendly, especially one lady in particular. Prices were fair, too. It seems to be split in two - with a "to-go" area on the right and roomy enough dine in area on the left. The one thing I encourage them to do is maintain the restroom a little better. But I'll definitely be back.

Bryan C.

Yelp
A strong experience for this homey restaurant serving many classic Chinese comfort foods. My favorite of the night was the pork chop fried rice, which came with a delicious helping of crispy pork and aromatic fried rice with pickled veggies. The beef noodle soup was also very good and generously proportioned, although perhaps on the sweeter side. Overall the service was fast and friendly, and the food is excellent. Would highly recommend!

Michelle C.

Yelp
When I see stinky tofu on the menu I have to order it and I glad I did! This is probably the closest stinky tofu I've had that reminds me of Taiwan! The XLB is pretty decent. A lot of other people in the restaurant were ordering it around us. Not pictured - Beef Noodle Soup - big portion, lots of noodles but it okay. Better to have beef noodle soup at a place that specializes in it than here. Prices are good here. Decent comfort food. VERY GOOD stinky tofu!

Jaime T.

Yelp
Parking: Easy, open, free I came here with my friend and I think we agreed, it was good but nothing out of the ordinary. We ordered - 1 - steam dumpling Shanghai style - 1 - Beef roll - 1 - Pan fried dumpling (Total: $54 including tip) The flavors were typical and nothing really stood out to me. It's a great little spot if you want to have a quick lunch but I think for flavors you would better off going to kang kang food court for the dumplings specifically. All in all, would not come back although the service was superb.

Ken C.

Yelp
I have a 5 and a 2 yr old. There are a few things in the food industry that I think are unforgivable and the main one being HEALTH and SAFETY. Especially in a damn dumpling where you can't see the inside till its too late. My whole family could have received food poisoning.

Kelvin C.

Yelp
Loved it! Tried this Chinese spot for the first time, and my experience although limited, I was impressed. Just needed some egg flower soup for my mom, and l had the best experience. The service was outstanding, the sever invited me to sit, offered me water, and was very polite. The soup was to-go, and it was piping hot, great flavor, and authentic. I will be back to try some dumplings and noodles. Lots of parking, easy to get to, restaurant was fresh and clean.

Lianna T.

Yelp
My family and I found this place as a last minute dinner option and we came here an hour before close. The staff informed us that the kitchen closes at 8:30, so we were able to order before then. What we ordered: Beef Roll in Shanghai Style - Crispy and flavorful wraps filled with beef and cilantro. Braised Beef Noodle Soup - The soup was just the right amount of spicy and the beef was soft and tender. Steam Dumpling in Shanghai Style - Came out piping hot and super soupy. Szechuan DanDan Dry Noodle - A must try! The noodles were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor from the peanut sauce. Our server was very kind, patient, and attentive throughout our dinner. Good portion sizes, prices, and everything we ordered was delicious.

Irita P.

Yelp
Surprised this place wasn't packed. Chinese/Taiwanese comfort food with an extensive menu. The beef dry noodle was the highlight of the meal, paired with their housemade chili oil - so good that the sweet waitress packaged some up for me to eat with my leftovers. Friendly and very attentive service is not something Chinese restaurants are known for, but the staff at Ding's Garden broke that stereotype. Like a dinner at Auntie's house, if you were lucky enough to have the most loving, sweet Auntie. "Have you had enough to eat?!" Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Daniel L.

Yelp
Have been here over 10 years. Love the mix luwei. Their fried rice with pork chop is so good. Shrimp wonton is also delicious

Derek T.

Yelp
Flavor and quality of the food was amazing! The service was also up there with the quality of the food, everyone was super nice and accomodating even when I asked for ultra spicy on the spicy wontons! Overall an amazing and quiet spot for some really good classic Taiwanese dishes!

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Service and food are good all around. Dishes come out very fast and they check in on you very regularly. Not very busy before noon on weekday. The food ranked from most the delicious to good: 1. Beef noodle soup 2. Beef Roll (serves cold here) 3. Pork Chop fried rice spiced egg; rice was on the hard side (no "wok hei") 4. Scallion Pancake 5. Pork feet (needs sauce or a little flavor) 6. Dan Dan Noodle; very creamy.

Crystal A.

Yelp
Great cozy Chinese restaurant. I got the rice cake and pork chop dish. Only the pork chop dish came with rice. The taste was very good for both. The service was quick and attentive. Only thing was there was an unusual smell in the restaurant when I came in but after a little bit in the restaurant I didn't notice it as much.

Danica C.

Yelp
Adding the missing star because I caught them on an off day. I've returned and dined in multiple times afterwards and we are always met with incredible customer service

Gus Z.

Yelp
Pretty amazing section style cuisine! The spicy beef noodle soup , Dan Dan noodles, scallion pancakes, and Xiaongnbao were among the very best we've ever had. Okay prices and plenty of parking. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

Timothy T.

Yelp
Service is superb but quality of the food is really bad. I m sure all of the food they serve is directly from 99 Market Ranch Market frozen aisles. Pretty much, TV dinner quality with restaurant price. I would not recommend anyone to eat it unless there is nothing else to eat.

Sebastien L.

Yelp
Saturday lunch at 1:00 pm -szechwan Dan Dan dry noodle, pork chop fried rice, Pan fried dumpking in Shanghai style, Ding's special cold plate (4 items) : bean curd, pig's ear, beef tripe, seaweed knots Service: attentive, friendly and very polite Ambiance: casual Price: ok Food quality: delicious, fresh ingredients, must try the ding's special cold plate. Loved the fried pork chop, it was super tender!!! A great restaurant full of surprises. Highly recommended

Lily Z.

Yelp
The braised gluten and the 8 treasure spicy sauce were very authentic. The stir fried noodles were good and you can smell the wok hei. Porkchop was big and juicy, but the rice underneath were dry, and was a weird version of Shanghainese cai fan (veg rice). Sheng jian bao was served lukewarm without any soup inside. Disappointed, but hardly surprising, since most places can't make sheng jian bao right. The food here was more Taiwanese than Shanghainese. Service was fast and friendly.

Franceska R.

Yelp
Incredible. Food was great. We ordered idiot's noodles, fried pork chop, and half order of duck. Everything came out great, their fried rice was amazing and so was the duck. Service was lovely. I wish I got her name, an older lady, but she was so jovial and warm. Even when things started to pick up for dinner time, she was greeting everyone with a smile. Place is also modern and clean and really welcoming to those who may not speak Mandarin (I say this because I always get intimidated going to Chinese or Taiwanese places and not knowing what to order or how to order). I was surprised by how diverse the people eating were, it was awesome to see.

Alan W.

Yelp
Type of venue: Taiwanese deli Venue Access: Great; located in a commercial/dining strip mall adjacent to major streets and a large parking lot. Time of day good for: Lunch/dinner Wait time: Great; party of 1 seated immediately (around 12:15pm) Service: Great; wait staff is fast and attentive What was ordered: Beef noodle soup and pan fried pork buns Does it taste good: Yes Any grievance: No Price/Performance: Good; food is pricey for the portion Did I get a stomachache after eating here? No Would revisit? Yes Additional Notes: The wait staff called me 帅哥 so I'm definitely coming back for the boost in self-confidence.

J C.

Yelp
Decent food and good service. They have frozen stuff to go which is nice too. Store is nice but a bit small so we normally take it to go.

Celeste G.

Yelp
Every time we come to Arcadia we go to Ding's Garden. The food is top notch and the service is friendly. A few favorites; Shanghai onion oil sauce noodle, steamed red bean buns, braised pork chop + fried rice, and mixed vegetable noodle soup.

Mei Z.

Yelp
Swung by this spot on whim cause my friend and I were in the area. Duck was well prepped, meaty, and presented. Beef wrap was great dipped in the extra duck sauce - the two were a great match. The dumpling was pretty decent but didn't have as much juice as anticipated, and the wrap was on the thicker side. I'd prob skip the dumplings if I were to come back. Overall, my friend and I really enjoyed the food here. I ended up getting a whole duck for my family since it was so enjoyable.

Becky L.

Yelp
This is a for sure 4-star restaurant since I was able to promptly receive my order within less than 10min of a wait time after having placed a phone order. Aside from a tad bit of a wait time, I'm rating 1/2 dishes I ordered a 4-star because the Green Onion Pancakes I ordered turned out too way overdone aka extremely crispy. They should tone down frying the pancakes a bit. I liked the spicy sauces that came with it, though. Now let's rave about their 'Xiao Long Bao.' Those were extremely juicy baos. I will definitely be back for This dish. The house-made dipping Aka soy sauce that came with my 'Xiao Long Bao,' dish was delish and not too salty. Again I would have rated them a 5-star restaurant if the green onion pancakes didn't turn out extra crispy. I'll be back again after 2022!

Yelp
A superb default if you or your group are unable to decide where to eat. Ordered takeout during the heavy storm period in early/mid-January: Fried Stinky Tofu ($6.99), Szechwan DanDan Dry Noodles with peanuts ($10.99), Chicken Pan Fried Noodles ($12.99), Pickled Green Mustard Shredded Pork Fried Rice ($12.99), House Special Vegetable and Pork Dumpling ($11.99), and Beef Rolls ($10.99). The DanDan noodle was savory, nutty, and just a hint of heat to give that kick that we all enjoy from DanDan noodles. The Chicken Pan Fried Noodle was substantial, and its lighter taste complimented well with everything that we ordered. Whether you like your vegetable or not, I believe the Pickled Green Pork Fried Rice should please any crowd since it is prepared in a way that you don't realize that mustard green is a main ingredient. Beef rolls were savory but a bit on the dry side compared to other ones I've head (101 Noodle Express in Alhambra comes to mind), but it is still a worthy order. The Pork Dumpling was somewhat standard but the sauce that accompanied it makes up for its mild flavor. Finally, the stinky tofu is probably something I would forego next time if I were ordering takeout, only because its crunchy texture is compromised if it is sitting around for too long. Parking - easy and plentiful. Looking forward to returning!

Judy G.

Yelp
This is my first visit to Ding's Garden and I was really craving beef noodle soup and I would love to come back again! The beef was tender and the soup was hearty and it was a great meal.

Angela Y.

Yelp
I absolutely hate places that refuse service before listed closing time. Closing time is listed at 9pm, Came here with my little kids at 8:25 on a Friday night & was told they started cleaning the kitchen & can't serve us. How about list your closing time the time you prefer to stop working? Nothing more frustrating than dealing with hungry kids & lazy service.

Doreen T.

Yelp
Whoa, I've been to this plaza for 30 years and this was my 1st time stepping foot in Ding's Garden. When was this open? It's similar food stable to many restaurants in the area, but it's also good to support local business. There was no wait for a table at 11:30am on a Sunday, but it definitely got a bit crowded by the time we left about a hour later. Our group of 4 shared: 8 pcs veggies wontons with noodles : this was a bit bland and needed white pepper or salt? But my group enjoyed it. Shanghai fried rice cake: My group was ooh and ahhh but again a bit bland and needed salt for me lol Pan fried seared pork buns: This was actually my favorite. Very juicy and lotsa meat! Veggie mustard green fried rice: This was very light and not too oily like normal fried rice. Really good. Price is reasonable and our waitress was very nice who speaks Cantonese to us. I find that rare for a restaurant that serves this style of food which I appreciate. Plenty of shared parking in the same plaza as Vons. (Previously Pavillions many years ago)

Christopher H.

Yelp
We came here with a few friends because I was craving beef noodle soup. The seating in this restaurant used to be very limited (2-3 tables) but they've since expanded to another room, so we were seated immediately with no wait despite it being Sunday lunch time. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup was ok. I think the beef chunks were a little too big and it needed to braise longer. Some of the bites had a little too much chew to it which is a missed opportunity. Despite how much I was craving this dish I left a little disappointed. However the beef rolls were my favorite part of the meal! Crunchy and flavorful, I would definitely order these again. The service is slow and the waiters aren't attentive, so you really need to flag them down. I don't blame them because they looked very busy.

Karla B.

Yelp
Great place to eat. Came with my friends and was greatly welcomed. Delicious food and it was great portions. I got N31 the beef noodle soup. The soup was great with lots of noodles, spinach, cilantro, and beef. The noodles are fresh and the beef are great. They give good vibes of beef and the flavor of the soup is wonderful. Best beef soup place I've been to around this area. Service is great and the woman made sure we were drinking lots of water especially during this heat. I will be coming back and will recommend it to others!

Steven M.

Yelp
I highly recommend the Pork Chop with Pickled Mustard Green Fried Rice because it was amazingly good. I also enjoyed the Beef Brown Sauce Fried Noodle. My friend ordered what is believe is the Braised Beef Noodle Soup which was probably my least favorite because it has the numbing "malatang" numbing soup used in authentic Shanghainese cuisine - both the meat and flavor, however, was still delicious if you like that type of spiciness. The waitress we had spoke both Cantonese and Mandarin and was extremely nice. It was my first time here meeting friends in Arcadia and was absolutely impressed to find this little gem.

Ann C.

Yelp
My BF was craving Chinese so we ordered their pan fried bao, pan fried beef noodles, pork chop rice, and beef rolls. Their pan fried bao (dumplings) were a little disappointing. It had way too much dough and way too little meat so it made it a little dry. The beef noodle and the pork chop rice were too bland. We did like their beef roll. We had their food before and remembered it being better but...I probably won't be back when I'm craving Chinese.

Mallory L.

Yelp
Place was pretty empty on a Monday evening. Staff were polite and the food came quickly. We ordered the pan fried dumplings and they were SO good. The meat was super flavorful and very tasty. The beef pan fried noodle was also delicious. Highly recommend!

Katrina Y.

Yelp
Great place for Shanghainese styled food. We usually ask for light oil and light salt in our orders, but we are def regulars here, both for in person dining and to-go orders

Joann C.

Yelp
Dings garden is great if you're craving shanghainese food. They are famous for their Pan Fried Pork buns! It's one of my favorites and always so fluffy. I also recommend the Dan Dan noodles ( sesame noodles with a kick of mala spice) and green onion pancake! Food comes out fairly quick and service is great. 也

Katherine P.

Yelp
Went there for a quick lunch and service was definitely friendly and quick. Ordered the pork XLB and the pork and shrimp spicy wontons. Both tasted very good but I wasn't a fan of the excess of peanuts in the spicy wontons. I really liked the XLB very tasty and lots of soup inside even bought some frozen ones to take home.

Tracey H.

Yelp
Excellent pork chop fried rice with mustard greens. Family also enjoyed the beef noodle soup.

Carissa C.

Yelp
I love this place ! The pork chop and fried rice is really filling and I love that it's always so crisp (there have been a few times it's been hit or miss, but lately it's been always a hit !) The beef with noodles is my go to though - it isn't great for takeout because it's easy for the noodles to get stuck together. But in person it's got great flavor ! The servers here are super nice and sweet and the food always comes out super quick. It's in a shared parking lot and it's always easy to find a spot !

wendy l.

Yelp
Food is quick and delicious and service is really good here. The lady was very friendly.

malea f.

Yelp
To go order: beef noodle soup, no spice - 3/5 Dan Dan noodle, no spice - 4/5 Beef roll - 5/5 XLB (8 pieces) - 4/5 Cucumber salad - 2/5 Total = $63 Giving a 4/5 because typically this place is very good, tonight was just a bit of an off night. The beef noodle soup was just okay. The beef was not very tender today and I don't like the noodles/broth as some other places. Still a 3/5 because it's still decent beef noodle soup and I would order again.. just not my favorite in town. The beef roll and the Dan Dan were my favorite, and the XLB is juicy and tender. I would still order all 3 again. The beef roll is crispy and the beef was flavorful and melt in your mouth. The Dan Dan noodles have a perfect, creamy sesame flavor and sauce. My only complaint is that the noodles were left too long and clumped together pretty significantly. The only thing I wouldn't order again is the cucumbers. They were flavorless (no vinegar or sesame oil) and possibly even a bit over salted making them some how dry.

Adam L.

Yelp
For $47, you can try the steamed dumplings ($14.99), beef roll ($12.99) and braised beef noodle soup ($14.99)! The portion were great and the food was flavorful. All the items came out warm and the noodle was spicy, even though we asked for medium spice. The service was GREAT! They were not too busy, so it was quick when we asked for more water or utensils. Quiet and homey atmosphere, so I will definitely be coming back! Indoor seating -- YES Clean bathroom -- YES Parking -- A LOT

Ria D.

Yelp
Came here on a rainy night and the there were still a lot of patrons enjoying the awesome dishes. We got seated right away. There was one server but she was efficient. She got everyone seated, got everyone's drinks and gave everyone their menus. She was a working machine. Then there was another person who would bring the food to your table. Btw, the space was clean and tables were spaced out. There was a lot of parking , so you don't have to worry about it. The menu had a lot of options, so if you can't find something you don't want to eat, then there's something wrong. Because there's so many options. Also, the prices seem fair for the amount of food that they serve. We were actually pleasantly surprised on how much we spent, considering the inflation these days. In any case, onto the food. We ordered the fried pork chop, fried rice and spiced egg, beef roll, pan fried dumpling and pork, vegetable wonton soup. The husband said that the beef roll was pretty good. Lots of beef pieces. The pan fried dumplings had a crisp bottom and flavorful meat filling. If I had some chili, it would have elevated it. But I forgot to ask about it. The outside seemed a little bit thicker than the other dumplings I've had but it didn't make it less delicious. I still enjoyed them. The pork vegetable wonton soup was amazing! The broth was flavorful and not at all salty. It was a good balance of flavors. The dumplings were plump and plentiful. It was filling! The was enough vegetables and seaweed as well, which added a different texture to the soup. I wished there were noodles in this dish. Maybe next time I go, I'll ask them if noodles can be added. The star of the show was the pork chop and fried rice. It was juicy and crunchy and fried to perfection. The fried rice and the pork chop were not oily or overly oily, like some places. The fried rice was so flavorful. I think there were some chopped mustard greens on the side and that added an extra layer of flavor. The egg was okay. I really enjoyed the pork chop and fried rice a lot and the soup too. Okay, I enjoyed all the dishes. Overall, everything was awesome. I would definitely come back and try other things. It was just really really good.

Will C.

Yelp
Four words: pork chop fried rice. The pork chop was pretty big and fried perfectly. It was really tender on the inside and a little crunchy on the outside. It had just enough batter. The fried rice was excellent as well. It was so good, I would be totally satisfied just eating the fried rice by itself. They were really quick too. I ordered by phone and it only took about 10 minutes for the food to be ready. I will definitely be back for more pork chop fried rice.

Ivy C.

Yelp
Ordered a beef roll by itself for togo and my total was $14.32. There was only cilantro and beef, no cucumbers or onions. I know every place does it differently but for the price I paid I was hoping to see they included cucumbers in there as well. In terms of value it would be a no for me. But the taste of the beef roll was okay and the ingredients used tastes fresh.

Karen L.

Yelp
Good local spot for dumplings. While the food is probably more like 4 stars for me personally, I bump this place to a 5 with the excellent service. The woman serving us today was so nice and friendly while still on top of things for being the only waitress around. English, Mandarin and Cantonese can be spoken here, and the menu is very English-friendly too. We had the pork and leek dumplings, xiao long bao / soup dumplings, and beef roll. Honestly I've had better dumplings elsewhere if I'm being super nit-picky, but it's good enough to where I'll come back. Some people may like the chewier / thicker soup dumpling skin and some of the bun skins did stick to the bottom. Beef rolls were also solid although I've also had flakier beef roll wraps at other places too. Note when I was here, for some reason their credit card machine was not working but thankfully I had enough cash on me... sounds like it was just broken today. The woman serving us was very apologetic and nice about it, so I didn't mind paying in cash at all, but something to watch out for, especially if you don't usually bring cash. Place is also very clean and they have a restroom for customers. Located near the Starbucks in this plaza, with tons of parking that you'll never have to worry about.
