"Dinho's was opened by Fuad Zegaib (the creator of the strip steak) six decades ago. Nowadays, the restaurant is run by chef Paulo Zegaib, the founder’s son. Occupying a new home on the ground floor of the Hotel Qoya, in the Paraíso section of the city (there’s also a Dinho’s in the Jardins district), it features a spacious, classically furnished main dining room, which is entirely glass-fronted and enclosed by a beautiful vertical garden plus a colourful open kitchen to one side. Renowned for its longevity in this bustling capital city, the restaurant offers superb cuts of beef, as well as feijoada on Thursdays and Saturdays, a buffet of salads and desserts, plus a copious seafood buffet on Fridays." - Michelin Inspector

Dinho's

"Opened in 1960 by the inventor of the bife de tira (strip of beef - the prime cut from the rump), Dinho’s is one of São Paulo’s longest-established and prestigious restaurants, taking pride in using only the best Brazilian and Argentinian meats. Guests can also enjoy a substantial feijoada on Wednesdays, a buffet of salads and desserts on Saturdays, plus a huge seafood buffet on Fridays. A restaurant that will suit everyone, irrespective of whether you’re a meat-eater!" - Michelin Inspector

I came during a rainstorm a couple days ago and the service was fantastic. I told them it was my first time trying feijoada and their portion was delicious but really big! Be warned skip the appetiser if you’re going to have it. The facilities are really nice and everyone is really kind and welcoming. There’s an upstairs seating which I used

It's one of the best restaurants I have tried in Brazil, I have to say it's so good I came here 3 times, including the afternoon before my flight. I had the seafood buffet for dinner once, ordered steak tartar with puffed potatoes that was out of this world. I am a tartar fanatic and have it everywhere I travel. I came back and had their Sunday BBQ lunch and again amazed at how good it was. Diverse cuts of meat, unbelievable spread, from Lebanese food to sushi, and unlike most buffets, it was all quality. The complexity of flavors and sauces available made all the dishes unique. I have to say the owners I also friendly and add tremendous energy this place. Further, it is beautifully designed and luxurious, perfect for a range of casual lunch, to business dinners. As an American who has traveled to about 50 countries and tends to be the pickiest eater in the room, I had no complaints. The chef even asked me sincerely what I thought, and I gave him one suggestion, which he genuinely appreciated. All the staff work super hard, friendly, and were on point the entire time.

Always perfect service with first-class food. You can't have better service or better food. Feijoada days are superb.

Yelp
This place is amazing. I went for a farewell dinner with a large group of conference attendees, and must say I was impressed. I grew up in São Paulo, and have been to many churrascarias over the years - this was one of the absolute best! Like all churrascarias, you need a strategy, however. Because the meat is probably the most expensive part of the meat, the salad and appetizer bar is amazing. If you want to, dive in, but go slow with the cheese bread (pão de queijo) because it will fill you up in an instant! It's probably a good idea to enjoy a little salad with hearts of palm, and even a little sushi, but save room for the picanha, which is the best cut of beef you can have at a Brazilian steakhouse! Apparently, their feijoada is to die for, so if you are in town, keep that in mind as well. It's quite expensive, even for São Paulo, but in my opinion, and many, many others - it's well worth it! Enjoy!

Yelp
My 1st trip to Brazil and this was my 1st meal in Brazil. Fantastic!! Just wow fantastic! The staff were very professional and attentive. We were treated like kings. Think they don't get too many Americans here, and they definitely rolled out the red carpet. All you had to do is look up, and one of the very attentive staff immediately noticed and were at your service. Would give the, 6 stars for service alone. Food: what a massive (and delicious) feast. The day were were there, they had only a feijoada buffet. Starts with a huge salad bar. On the side had a table with thinly sliced prosciutto, olives, and hard cheese. Servers also brought various delicious breads and sausages to table. Then the feijoada buffet. It's a traditional bean and rice dish, where you add various meat in sauce toppings. Too many different choices of meats, but I tried them all, except the pig ear. The owner stood by and made sure to offer assistance if needed. A true host. You can tell he is proud of his establishment and maintains very high standards. Even the chef (owner's son) came out to make sure diners were having a great dining experience. Then a massive dessert table. And everything was delicious. On top of that, the waiter brought a papaya fruit purée thing with a liquor added. Refreshing. Ambiance: a perfect blend of trendy upscale casual with old world charm. Clean, very clean, very nice, top everything. If you are in São Paulo, you must come here. Can't wait to come back.
