Juicy charbroiled chicken & flavorful fries with signature sauce

"At Dino’s Famous Chicken on Pico Boulevard I noticed a sleek design refresh by Alexis Readinger of Preen Inc.: the footprint remains the same but the outdoor seating was expanded, a midcentury-style breeze block overhang was added to the original single-story building, and an extra ordering window was installed for faster service; the indoor seating was also updated with new booths and contemporary lighting fixtures. A Preen Inc. representative told Eater that construction only took a few months but the entire planning, permitting, and building process took about a year. The 55-year-old restaurant—opened in 1968 by Demetrios Pantazis and now run by his four daughters, Konstantina, Maria, Katerina, and Nicole (Pantazis died in 2017)—remains most beloved at the original Latino-Byzantine Quarter location, where winding lines form during peak hours for the famous Pollo Maniaco. The family also operates additional Dino’s locations in Pico Rivera and Pomona and a ghost kitchen in Pasadena." - Cathy Chaplin
"Cut with skins on, these thinner fries are usually enjoyed at the bottom of Dino’s famous grilled chicken, laced with a bright orange, tangy sauce. The juices and the sauce then soak right into the fries, creating one of LA’s most glorious dishes." - Virali Dave

"The fries are the thing at Dino’s. Customers tend to love the DUI fries with pastrami, carne asada, and cheese, though the simpler spiced fries with grilled chicken on top — where the juice runs through and soaks up each fry bite — is the best order of all." - Farley Elliott

"Dino's Famous Chicken is offering party packs for Super Bowl weekend, including wings buckets and charbroiled half-chickens, available for preorder and delivery." - Farley Elliott
"If you’ve got one minute to watch TikTok, have a look at this brief history about LA’s beloved Dino’s Chicken & Burger." - Mona Holmes
