I went for the first time last night and really appreciated the good customer service. It goes a long way when someone is friendly, helpful, and wants you to have a good experience! As far as the food goes, I ordered the side salad and the tender combo. The combo came with 2 tenders and fries. The portion size was 5 out of 5! The tenders were large cuts of chicken breast, about the size of my hand! They were thick and the meat was juicy. I’d say the batter is a little under-seasoned, but the dipping sauces make up for it. I had a choice of waffle fries and regular fries - not sure why I chose regular when I like waffle. Either way, it was more than enough fries, nothing fancy, and they could use more seasoning. The lettuce on the side salad was fresh, nothing fancy, and came with a dressing. Sauces: I got the Serrano ranch, the Love sauce and the orange soy. Out of the 3, the Love sauce was my favorite - it’s similar to the Chikfila sauce. I ordered food at the truck, then walked over to Stargazer to get a drink and eat there.

This food trailer is worth it but here is what you need to know before coming here: Parking sucks or is easy pending events, rock climbing , gymnastics Ariel pole classes, and theater plays! On the other hand these guys were some of the most humble folk I've ever met with above and beyond to cook my food fresh and under 10 minutes and high quality for the price! I got the grilled naked tenders with their tempura sauce which was spicy and loved it! And at a unbeatable price too! These are some of the best chicken tenders you can buy either crispy fried or grilled superfection with all kinds of signs to choose from including mac and cheese vegetable mix fried cakes and fries! Just be aware that this is a mixed used place also with a brewery on top of everything else here that has popped up in the area with nearby shared restrooms.

The $10 chicken and waffle weekend special is a fantastic deal and tasted incredible! The regular tenders were a big portion and tasted good but were not life changing. They do not give enough sauce, which I see in other reviews. The location is great and the food was ready in just under 20min, we will be back for that chicken and waffle special!

We were super excited to try this place. But left thinking never again. The service Lackluster service, the first guy we talked to said they had two types of fries curly and regular. My wife and I were excited because we love curly fries. We ordered the combo. Went to pay and the card reader wasn't accepting any of the cards from either of our phones. Apple pay or Google. Technical difficulties, no worries, no big deal, not the reason for this review. We didn't have other cards on us so we drove home and I came back 10 minutes later. When I got there a second guy came to the window to take my order. The first guy was in the back but didn't acknowledge me, to say anything like "welcome back or thanks for returning" Again not that big of a deal. I go to order the same thing but with extra tendies because the anticipation was making me hungrier. Now the second guy says "We don't have curly fries right now" Disappointment, whatever. End up getting regular fries which were crinkle cut, the bottom tier of french fries like elementary cafeteria fries. The Food The food comes out and the fries are hot, but woefully under salted. The chicken is hot and crispy but so over cooked that the meat inside is dry and stringy. We ordered 4 dipping sauce but they are tiny and not nearly enough to make up for how dry the chicken is. Conclusion We really wanted to like this place but wish they gave the tiniest bit more attention to customer service and attention to cooking and seasoning the food when there were two of them and they literally only had one order on fire.

This place is such a gem! Located right next to Eastciders and Friends & Allies Brewing, it’s easy to grab a snack and a pint or a cider flight. The chicken tenders were amazing. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but we had the weekend special— a chicken tender on a bagel (I picked jalepeno cheddar) with cream cheese and it was religious-experience good. The breading on the chicken is flavorful, crunchy and delicious but doesn’t taste greasy or overly fried. The chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly. We also tried a bunch of their sauces, all of which were homemade. My favorites were the blood orange soy glaze and the red curry. We also had a blackberry hibiscus s’more (they make their own marshmallow) and even though I’m usually a take-a-couple-bites of dessert person and then I give the rest to my husband, I think he got maybe one bite in before I devoured the whole thing. We learned that the chef has a background in fancy gourmet kitchens…and it shows! Absolutely would recommend to anyone rolling through the eastside.

My friend and I spent three days in Austin, had amazing food, and this by far was my favorite. I had the jalapeño cheddar cheese bagel with the chicken tender strip on it and a chive cream cheese. I have never had a better chicken tender. It was thick and juicy with a thin breading that tasted slightly sweet. It was perfect on the bagel. We got the food and then went over to the East Austin Cider company to try a flute. It was great.

Fantastic vegan options! Love the tempeh tenders. Special was the loaded fries which is plenty for two or leftovers. Good vegan sides too.

Literally the best chicken I have ever had in ATX. The employees & owner are always so friendly (shout out Mark and Bagel). The Zamora sauce is literally it.

Really tasty stuff here! Love that the menu is simple yet has options to make your meal unique. I was so close to getting the naked tenders but got the og breaded tenders instead so I could get a better feel for this place. Tenders were HUGE, hot, and crispy! Fries were classic and plentiful. Loved the red curry sauce and love sauce. The ancho avocado ranch was definitely more of an aioli than a ranch but im a ranch fanatic so maybe it just wasn't what I expected. But we were overall impressed with all of the sauces we tried. 3 for $1 is an awesome deal for sauces too. They had a ton of orders so told us it would take about 20 min. Ended up taking about 13, so not a bad wait. I think they should consider texting through their ordering platform when your food is ready so you don't have to stay too close by. Staff was so friendly! We had a great time.

I just needed a quick snack the other day and wasn't feeling fried chicken. So to my surprise, they had Mac n cheese that slapped. Not literally, they'd be outta business if they did. But the flavors and pasta were on point. And not to mention the cheesy goodness. If you're making REAL Mac n cheese there is always a cheesy top and they delivered here. Crunchy cheese with a cheese pull. That's a win in my book. So even if you're not feeling polo then go for the cheese pull. Update: I actually had the tenders and they were not tender at all. Unfortunately, I received their fried tenders when I asked for "naked" but was already home so was stuck. The tender was over cooked and dry dry. I don't know if the TX sweltering heat + radiant heat entombed in the truck got to the cooking process but it wasn't pleasant, sadly. I would've eaten those Tyson chicken nuggets out of the bag instead at this point. I wish their namesake item was as delicious as it seems. But in my case, looks were deceiving. The Mac n cheese review is the saving Grace.

Don't let the name of this delicious food truck fool ya! Grab these delicious panko-crusted tendies while having a drink at Friends and Allies Brewing. I was able to place an order with a QR code and within fifteen minutes, I grabbed my hot and fresh 2 piece tenders with waffle fries. Y'all the crunch was 100% there and I loved the combo meal. I have to say it was the right amount of food without feeling super full. You can choose your choice of dipping sauce but I had to go with their bbq sauce. What's slick about Dipping Springs Tender is how well they've perfected it. They also have vegetarian versions with a tofu-style breaded tender.

You'd be forgiven for dreading the drive all the way out to Dripping Springs to get your hands on food from Dipping Springs Tender Co., but this trailer is actually parked in East Austin, conveniently located in the Eastciders Taproom parking lot, no less. Their kettle chip-crusted Tempeh Tenders stand out for their resoundingly crisp coating and soft, subtly nutty interior. The combination of old-school ingredients and new-school technique creates a perfectly balanced wholesome junk food experience; healthy enough that you don't need to justify the indulgence, but decadent enough that it satisfies those fast food cravings. Pair it with one of almost a dozen vegan dipping sauce options, and check out the collard greens to get in a serving of vegetables with you meal.

The chicken is wayyy too overbrined :( it has the texture and look of ham so it's dryyyyy. I LOVE the dredge which is the sad part! Please brine them less!

Fast food, but options to make it healthy and accommodating to dietary choices!! Loved the gluten free naked tenders and omg the bean salad !! It was the perfect combo of protein and carbs that I needed to fuel up after a long day of work! So yummy I didn't get to snap a pic haha.

Dry and not able to choke down. Yeah, sure they are large sized tenders, but not juicy at all!! The only good sauce is the Love sauce. All overs seem fake and overrated! I so wanted to Love Sauce you......

Was working right around the corner from here and saw it was there so I walked over to grab some lunch. Man was very friendly and quick with getting my order out. i was worried that 2 tenders weren't gonna be enough but the size of the tenders were great and he even hooked me up with a 3rd one since it was my first time there. Would definitely Eat here again if I'm in the area again.

This cute food truck offers a unique take on chicken strips. The strips are breaded in potato chips so it makes for a heavy meal but with good flavor. They have a good array of sauce options that include a GF and V selection. The strips are very large so don't be shocked when you see it only comes with two! My husband and I could have split.

I crave their tempeh and curly fries at least once a month. Soooo good. Just wish they were open on Mondays!

Naked Tenders are the real deal, and they put a nice spin on their buffalo sauce. I've enjoyed the other menu items, but the Naked Tenders are easily my go to. Solid portion sizes, too, so worth calling out that positive. 5 / 5.

Wow I'm so glad I finally checked this out- I can't believe more people don't talk about. We got chicken, the elote cakes and Mac n cheese (AMAZING) plus tried 6 different sauces that were all delicious. Highly recommend!

Honestly this is amazing food and sauces are wow. I really recommend this place wow it is so amazing. We are taking the sauces home.
