Where to Find Great Hot Dogs in Las Vegas

"Established in 2013, Dirt Dog brings Los Angles street food to the Las Vegas food scene. Each hot dog is a 100 percent premium all beef hot dog, wrapped in bacon and topped with grilled onions and red and green bell peppers. Customers should order the green dog, a hot dog piled with slices of onions and bell peppers cooked in homemade chimichurri sauce, a layer of guacamole spread with cilantro, lime slice, and bacon pieces as final toppings. Also at the Grand Bazaar Shops." - Janna Karel

Where to find hot dogs for takeout and delivery in Las Vegas - Eater Vegas

"Head to Dirt Dog for a super-sized taste of L.A. street food and the home of hot dogs wrapped in bacon. The Strip location is currently closed, but on Rainbow Boulevard in the southwest, diners can order daily from the large and imaginative menu for pickup or third-party delivery. Don’t forget the fried Twinkies, corn selections, and famous D.U.I. fries topped with pastrami, carne asada, bacon bits, and cheese." - Bradley Martin

Google
This is our second time trying this food but our first time at this location and I loved every bit from the food to atmosphere. If you’ve been to LA and had a LA street hotdog these are very similar to them. The corn on the cob wow the corn was very soft and delicious. We ordered a carne asada burrito, corn dog for my son, asada fries and a hotdog. It’s a bit pricy but worth it.

Google
This was the nicest hot dog I’ve ever had in my life, I am shook. The fries are also so crispy and delicious. I got the patty melt and my bf got DUI dog. Both were so delicious. Staff were also very helpful and friendly, great experience. Will recommend to anyone going to vegas!

Google
One of the best hot dogs I've had in my life. Dirt Dog was fire and they played a dope bow wow song when I was there. Fire food for real.

Google
Never tried dirt dogs before. It was at a non busy time and it has a great atmosphere. I didn't really look too much into the menu but what caught my eye were the fries and the elote dog. Flavor is on point and if you love hod digs this is definitely a place to try. I enjoyed my meal and the waitresses were very kind. I don't know how it will be during busy times. If you don't like crowded places always go during their non busy times. Me and my brother went between 11am - 12pm.

Google
I got the L.A. Cheesesteak hot dog—it tasted really good, but not much meat all. Also got the Dirty Chili fries. There was about one spoonful of chili and the serving size was shockingly small, especially for the price. I left still feeling hungry, and I have a normal sized appetite.

Google
Firstly, the atmosphere at Dirt Dog was lively and the staff were friendly, creating a welcoming environment. The menu options were great and the toppings were delicious! When it came to the food, I found the hot dogs to be decent but not exceptional. The toppings were flavorful, but the hot dogs themselves were nothing out of the ordinary. If anything the hot dog itself was pretty bland. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the portion sizes were generous. Overall, my experience at Dirt Dog was alright. While there were some positive aspects, there were also areas that could be improved upon - mainly just the hot dog itself. Definitely still try this place out because it is still worth the try overall.

Google
We were excited to try Dirt Dog in Las Vegas after loving the one in Los Angeles. The Vegas location didn't disappoint! The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing, as always. If you're a fan of Dirt Dog, or if you have not tried it yet, this location is a must-try!

Google
The location is tucked away in the corner and a little hard to find, even from the parking lot you could miss it, Inside for me it's a chill atmosphere. Rap music playing lightly. Legends painted on each wall. Me I'm not a hot dog eating kind of guy so chili cheese fries is what I always get. Seems to me like the hype might be over. Food used to taste good here but now it's lacking seasoning. The birria tacos for the price is definitely not worth it. I'm not sure what that is if it's cumin in the consommé but it needs to be replaced with something else. No spice to it and an odd flavor at best I wouldn't recommend those. I cook so I'm a huge critic especially against my tacos. Hopefully they read these and fix the flavor issue. Even the meat on the fries lacked flavor that I was craving.

Yelp
first timers with my husband and I! all I can say is WOW!!!! food was amazing, delicious, flavorful. (we got the house dog, plain fries, and cheesesteak dog) the service was amazing, Tiffany was awesome and our needs were definitely met!!!! the ambiance, the vibes, music, decor were just bomb. check out dirt dog, you won't be disappointed!!!!!!

Yelp
Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Alright, the good, the loaded fries were hot, fresh and delicious. I got the carne asada fries and hubby got the filthy fries, wish the portions were bigger for the price but still good. My birria tacos were pretty good as well, they were the tacos with the quesabirria style tacos with cheese in between the two tortillas (so if that's not your thing, let them know) green salsa had more flavor, the red salsa was spicier. The not so great, the elote dog was just meh...if you aren't into spice, or pastrami, there are limited options.

Yelp
Dirt Dog can be a little hard to find but they are located in The Grand Bazaar Shops at the back. They have a bar at this location too. The dogs are bacon wrapped and served on a lobster roll bun. They do have a lot to choose from but I wanted to go basic. I went for the plain for 7.95 and added mustard. It hit the spot at the end of the night and the bun was elite! The dogs are 100% beef. I will definitely go back here and try a fun one next time.
google avatar

Yelp
I had the chili dog, DUI dog, both on lobster rolls instead of traditional dog bun (the lobster roll was accurately described as 'the Texas toast of hot dog buns') and garlic fries. It was hard to pick a favorite dog. Both were good in their own way. The chili on the chili dog was rich with great flavor that wasn't sweet. Didn't care for the bacon bits as they were like chewing gravel. The DUI dog with pastrami was delicious too. Again with the bacon bits. I put a little mustard on each which was a nice addition. If you're looking for a best of class hotdog, you can find it here.

Yelp
I have come back to this location several times since my last post and everything has been so much better as far as transparency and service in general. I love this place and am happy to be a costumer once again. Thank you guys for your great food and hard work

Yelp
Not sure how this place stays in business. Way overpriced for the underwellming hot dog and fries that tasted like they were right out of the frozen section at the supermarket. On top of that, we arrived around 3pm. Only 2 people ahead of us in line and 2 tables occupied. Why did it take 25 minutes for us to receive 1 hot dog, 1 asada fry and 1 regular fry???? As we were eating, a small family came in and ordered and had their food within 4 minutes. I don't think I will be coming back!

Yelp
Service is outstanding. Everyone that works there is awesome and the artwork is amazing. The food is good, not great. TL:DR - good enough to try once. Garlic fries: best thing we ordered. The fries themselves are super crispy and delicious and I LOVE garlic, so I really appreciated how over the top these were. Confit garlic on top of garlic seasoned fries with a garlic dipping sauce. NOT for date night. Filthy fries: meh. Couldn't taste the guac at all. The chipotle aioli overpowered any other flavor on the fries. DUI dog: nice gimmick. Not terrible. The pastrami was a little fatty and chewy. Carne asada wasn't anything I couldn't get at Del Taco. The actual hot dog is better than expected. I figured the dog would be generic and the toppings would be amazing. Other way around. Chili Dog: husband said it was only okay. He wouldn't come back for it. I definitely recommend spending the $0.75 for the lobster roll upgrade. Unless a craving for those garlic fries hit, we won't be returning. Service and the employees earned them an extra star.

Yelp
Pretty cool creations of hot dogs. Kinda wish there was more variety (maybe something Asian based?) but they were still really good. Price point can be a lil high for some of the dogs goin up to $13. I would rather they were in the $11 range but besides that no complaints. I personally like the lobster bread rolls much better than the regular buns so I'd def recommend that. Wouldn't mind coming back if an intriguing new flavor popped up and I was in the area!

Yelp
Delicious food! Fast service and great customer service. We came here for lunch Friday and it wasn't as busy compared to a weekend. My husband got the cheesesteak hot dog and DUI fries. I got the Birria tacos and we left nothing on our plates!! It's was so good.
google avatar

Yelp
This is not a sit down restaurant, you can sit down but the restaurant's in a food court. There isn't really any service except when you order. The food was good. We had chilly dogs and fries. The fries were perfectly crispy and had good flavor. The same for the hot dogs and this is coming from someone that doesn't normally eat hot dogs. The chilly dog was very tasty and very messy. I didn't like the cheese. It was almost like nacho cheese but grainier. The picture look like it would have been almost like cheddar cheese but melted but when I got it the cheese wasn't what I expected. I think I would have liked it more as a plain hotdog with just onion, ketchup and mustard. If you're craving a hot dog then I recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
We were craving a hot dog for days. We drove all the way from the Northwest to come here. Omg the hotdog I picked was the most delicious hotdog I've ever eaten. Plus their fries were out of this world. Also had a very tall Mexican Coke. I can't wait to come back

Yelp
This for the one one E Sahara... My daughter put an online order in for an Elote dog with dirty fries at the E Sahara location (it was closer) and instead she got a Dirty Dog (I think). I took a pic of it and it doesn't look like what she ordered from the day before or the pic on their site??? I know this was the wrong order because she had an elote dog the day before from another location and she loved it and so we went back again today but to the E Sahara location. I tried calling the phone number that was listed for that location twice and went to voicemail both times so I left a message. I also tried to contact them on their instagram so we will see if they answer. This is bad for their business??? It was an order that was picked up so I really can't rate the ambiance. I want to make this clear that I am talking about the E Sahara location!
google avatar

Angelea C.

Yelp
By far the worst Dirt Dog location. I've been to all the others and the quality is always great and a favorite spot. We decided to try the rainbow location. I paid $45 for some plain fries three elotes, 3 drinks and deep fried Oreos. It's definitely overpriced. This was the saddest looking corn I've ever got. It says that it comes with bacon and cilantro and there were a couple crumbles of cilantro and one sad cilantro leaf. The fries were good. The Oreos were much smaller than the other locations, they are usually large with a lot of batter on them. The drinks were good. I would not recommend this place, at least not this location. I would recommend the Sahara or the strip location instead of this one.
google avatar

Christina C.

Yelp
I was craving a hot dog and this place definitely hit the spot! The elote dog was so good! Definitely recommend trying it.
google avatar

Yelp
Dirt Dog did not disappoint. Service was spot on and it was very price friendly. The dog had a ton of flavor. We even got buns to go as they are made in house. The chicken tenders didn't suck and the garlic fries were excellent. They have draft beer and cocktails as well. We will be back.

leyana j.

Yelp
If you're looking for a DEEELICIOUS hot dog spot, here ya go!! We ordered two chili hotdogs, chili cheese fries (yes, my family loves chili), chicken wings and two agua frescas for a family of 4. We took our food to go, but every time we visit the kindness of the staff is unmatched! Vibes, wall art and the music just gives this place a bonus!
google avatar

Renae F.

Yelp
I love dirt dog but I'm visiting from out of state and let me tell you, this is the best dirt dog I have been to ever! Ivan was extremely attentive to our table and made sure we were satisfied. The restaurant is extremely clean and they have huge tvs perfect for any sports game on and a good variety of music. When I'm visiting again I will definitely come here!
google avatar

Yelp
Been coming to this place for a while now. When I'm craving a good ole' bacon wrapped hot dog, coming here always smashes my cravings. A little update, they are more of a sit down with service type of spot now (which I'm all for). Prior, they were more of fast casual style. But for the FOOD- I tried the LA cheesesteak dog with the lobster roll. It was everything I enjoy in between buns. The meat, hot dog, onions, and cheese were all speaking my language. I do suggest doing it without the green peppers though, as the server mentioned that they are real spicy (if you're a low heat tolerant person like myself). Overall love this place, try it out if you haven't already!
google avatar

Christina R.

Yelp
I'm not a huge hot dog person, so when Dirt dog hit the scene I wasn't all about it. People talk about it, I see ads for it, but again, not a hot dog person. We were in the area and nothing seemed to tickle our fancy lunch wise but we saw Dirt Dog and my husband IS a hot dog person. I decided, why not, so we stopped in. First, these aren't hot dogs, they are culinary masterpieces. I get the hype now! I was so surprised at the nuance and the amazing flavor. How juicy but also crispy the hot dogs were. Fresh veggies and good toppings. I also really liked the fries they use and how they top them. Delicious!!! Second, service is great. There was a lot of patience for us first timers and we appreciated that. We also appreciated that we sometimes forget that my husband can't have cilantro but we love elote and they were kind enough to make sure there was no cilantro, even after we were done ordering and they were in the process of making the food already. The place could use a bit of an update, some ratty furniture and stuff like that but I like the art on the walls and the bathroom was clean. Heck, even though some things could be spruced up, the place itself was very clean.

Guia C.

Yelp
Amazing service food is good I didn't expect it would be out that quick .Llove how the place looks really clean and the food prep in the to go paper back is complete .
google avatar

Jenny D.

Yelp
I got the patty melt dog which was very good and we split the carne asada fries which were excellent. I was going to get the deep fried Oreo but was already too full but next time I will hopefully get to try it.
google avatar

Diane T.

Yelp
Not sure why the reviews were so high, and I typically rate most things a 4/5-5/5 The hot dogs were overpriced and felt like the flavors didn't mesh well together. Not much place to sit either. Expect to wait atleast 15 minutes if they are busy. The garlic fries were a bit salty but yummy.
google avatar

Joey L.

Yelp
Way overrated and too expensive. $26 for 2 chili dogs and 1 large fry. And I did not ask for the nasty orange cheese that looks like it came out of a pump from 7-11. Nothing special with blah flavor. And the girl behind the counter with the facial piercing was miserable. We will never return. This was the Sahara location between Nellis and Sloan on 4/16/2025 at 3:26 PM.
google avatar

April D.

Yelp
Such a great experience, thank you Chrystal for your excellent customer service. I ordered the DUI dog, my man got the Elote Dog AND the Patty Melt. Surprisingly I loved his two choices while he liked my pick lol. He left me bite from his and I pretty much gave him all of mine. We also got the Jamaica drinks. Soooo good. And we ordered the deep fried Oreos. 2 pieces came with horchata whipped cream. It was so worth it.
google avatar

Briana D.

Yelp
Daniel was my cashier and he recommended the garlic park wings and the cheesesteak dog and I got some fried Oreos when I tell you he did not disappoint with the recommendations I'm very much satisfied and I'm not typically a garlic parm girl but he was super friendly and overall the vibe was great the place is clean and the food is good now all they need to do is bring back the horchata ice cream and I'll be here every week
google avatar

Ella S.

Yelp
This place is super near my house, and I love everything about this place. It's been a a couple years since we've been coming here and I would say I've tried all the stuff on the menu besides the tenders. And I would say all the gourmet hotdogs are GOOD it's all a must try and after a good gourmet hot dog you gotta have the dip fried Oreos!!!! And if you want something extra the elotes on the cup! My daughter loves this place she will be asking to stop by after school. The place is not hard to find parking might be a little tight but it's worth it. Pricing and portions is pretty good, I could say for a while coming here the quality of the food has stayed the same and that's why we keep coming back. The inside has really cool wall art from artist painting the walls they also have a big wall of money board where you can vandalize the money I guess and stick it at the wall. Customer service could improve more. I mean maybe walk around and maybe see if we need something else or extra stuff. Rather than that never had issue with any staff or been rude to us I guess. Other than that it's a great place and great food!
google avatar

Derek C.

Yelp
Small stand outside of the horse shoe. Maybe it will be good if you were really drunk, but to be honest it was underwhelming. The customer service wasn't great either as I ask for some recs and they said just pick any one. Off to the food 3/5 - Elote dog - First things first it looked amazing. The toppings was really messy, but it was decently flavored. The cheese, lime, and cilantro really pulled through. However the bacon bits, and the hotdog disappear just taste like mystery meat with no flavor at all. A little disappointed but what you expect from a stall outside casino.
google avatar

Liz M.

Yelp
Hot dogs here are definitely juicy and not dry, filled me up. My co worker suggested this spot and her decision didn't disappoint. Good customer service, clean restroom. They don't skimp on the ingredients, well worth a pit stop here. Can't wait to come back and try something different.
google avatar

Shayna P.

Yelp
The guac is sooo good! The fries were delicious! Both dogs were sooo good! The flavors are amazing! 10 out of 10!
google avatar

David T.

Yelp
Visiting Vegas for a bowling tournament and me and my two brothers came here. They got the DUI dog and the elote dog, i got the carne asada fries. All came out quick, looked great, and tasted better. I wish there was a dirt dog in Phoenix

Natalia T.

Yelp
The food hits every time , I've been coming to dirt dog since I was highschool and they have always serve the best hotdogs that I've ever had and their presentation is on point .
google avatar

Hurjane V.

Yelp
This was a great late night snack - regardless if you are sober or not lol. Food came out hot and quick, and the menu options were abundant enough. We got the elote hot dog and it was yummy!
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful service with the best dogs in town. A little hard to find but worth the search.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a fun place to hang out with friends and to get a quick lunch, snack or alcoholic beverage. Food/Drink: They sell gourmet hot dog, French fries, and beer. We tried the DUI fries and it had pastrami, carne asada and bacon. It was delicious! I recommend getting the lobster roll for the bread for your hot dog. Alcoholic drinks are poured behind the bar and soft drinks are self serve. Service: The staff are friendly and helpful. They put tables and chairs together for our big group. One of the tables were wobbly and it tipped which led to our fries and drinks all over the ground. They made new fries for us for no charge and they cleaned up the mess quickly. Overall, we had a nice experience at this hot dog place. Don't forget to take a few picture of the artwork on the walls. My favorite was of Eminem.
google avatar

Jaz W.

Yelp
Everything was excellent Ivan was kind and attentive also the person who took our order was great to thank you

Cindy R.

Yelp
very good service from Samantha, great customer service, very friendly, and positive attitude!!
google avatar

Briana G.

Yelp
Food DELICIOUS. Everything. The only thing that tasted just a bit off was the wings. Happy hour was happening $7.00 wings and $20.00 Margarita Pitcher. Our server Oliva was and will continue to be the best. She gets our order correct and fast with a cheerful attitude. Only issue was we needed a refill of waters and we didn't get help for maybe 15-20mins
google avatar

Joe A.

Yelp
I kept seeing advertisements for dirt dog all over the place when I first moved to Vegas. They looked very delicious. I tried their location off rainbow and was disappointed. Their buns seemed dry and the quality of the dogs seemed subpar. It seems a lot of their menu items are just dosed with extras. Don't get me wrong I love a good Chicago dog but it seemed they were about quantity over quality.
google avatar

V P.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for a while because i like pho aime next door. So we finally went and it was sooooo La style hot dogs super flavorful and the deserts we tried them all was so good i had the elite dogs and Elote And they have a wall of hot sauce which was cute
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic food, but what really stood out was outstanding service from Melody. Clone her! She is exactly what you want in a place like this. Service with a smile, and checked on us from time to time. 10:10!
google avatar

Melissa I.

Yelp
this place is SOOO GOOD!!! their food is BUSSIN and the service and music is top tier! it might seem like 'snack' food but they're actually VERY filling - i usually order at least 2 things and share with my husband and he orders 1-2 things as well. The ezquite (cupped corn) is amazingly delicious, literally even beats traditional mexican restaurants with how good it is. the tacos, very tasty- they add cheese in it and it's *chefs kiss* - the carne asada fries, tasty and filling and the house dog reminded me of those street vendor hotdogs that you usually get after concerts/festivals! THE MUUUUSIC - literally a millennials dream, i swear they stole my ipod from highschool lol! Not pictured, is the fried oreos i ate, perfectly fried lol the churro wasn't my personal fav tho! POINT BLANK- everything was GREAT! go check it out for yourself!!!
google avatar

Grace S.

Yelp
food was excellent, service was better. we were helped by mai and she was very kind and patient while we sorted out our order. she also was kind enough to let us switch something out after we ordered. the dining room and counter were all very clean and tidy, really immaculately kept. food came out quickly and was all correct and delicious. we got the philly cheesesteak dog and filthy fries, and the rest of our party got the house dog and garlic fries. the filthy fries were really good, and the garlic fries were also delicious. all the hot dogs were tasty, you could tell the veggies and bread were super fresh and the dogs were good as well. the highlight of our trip here though was the deep fried oreos. i have never in my life eaten something as delicious as they were. i will go out of my way to come back specifically for those, and likely often. the food was good and Mai made the visit really great and we appreciate the hospitality, thank you guys!

Cherise H.

Yelp
What took me so long to try this place? Really good hot dogs but the garlic fries are exceptional. A large is a great value for what you get. The house dog was very good next time I will venture out and try something else. Won't be my last trip! Don't let the name stop you!
google avatar

Chezlani-Crystal L.

Yelp
The staff were amazing ! The food was impressive. The garlic fries were bomb dot com and that sauce- oh I out that sauce on everything. The wings were hot and saucy yet very crispy.
google avatar

Shane W.

Yelp
I'd been wanting to try this spot for awhile so I figured the 4th of July was as good a day as any. Members of my family had gone there before and swore by it so I tried the cheese'n chili jobbie. It was good, just not great. There's just something about hot dog joints, they never live up to expectations in my experiences. Just a regular hot dog with hot dog stuff on top is really the way to go. Ketchup, mustard, relish, onion. Maybe a hot or garlic aioli of some sort but not all the time. Dirt Dog is fine for a try... It's just not something I'll be craving like crazy is all.
google avatar

Victoria M.

Yelp
Was in Vegas on a mini vacation While out on Fremont we passed Dirt Dog a few times and we finally decided to go our last day and did not regret it! It's a small little place a few inside seating and some outside Service was great got our food pretty quickly And everything was delicious The snoop dog hot dog was so yummy Chili fries, DUI fries great Tacos had lots of flavor Had an adult capri sun wasn't to strong And a dirty Elote that was the only thing I didn't enjoy it was dry and with all the flavor on it it was still flavorless
google avatar

Lacy E.

Yelp
This was our first time at this location --very easy to get to compared to Fremont St. and closer to home for us. Also, our first time bringing the kids in. (they loved it!) This location has more table seating and TVs if you enjoy watching sports! The food was consistent and as great as our previous experiences. My go to is the Patty Melt (without aioli) and garlic fries! We find ourselves craving Dirt Dog and I am so happy to have this location close to home!
google avatar

Tim L.

Yelp
Service was excellent and the food came out hot and tasty! The DUI Dog was cooked thoroughly and there was a lot of meat on it. I can't see coming every day but for a treat it is excellent. I will be back with friends.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the dirty chili dog and the house dog. They put a good amount of toppings on it. I would say the chili dog was a bit too salty from all the chorizo but the house dog was a great balance. I would def come back and try their other items next time
