"The downtown location of this street food-style hot dog restaurant goes all in on food meant for late-night cravings. Hotdogs here are satisfyingly snappy, wrapped in bacon and nestled inside a bun of Texas toast. Get them house-style with veggies and spread or go all-in on varieties slathered with elote corn or carne asada." - Eater Staff, Janna Karel

"Los Angeles-born Dirt Dog is also quickly headed downtown, bringing 'the ultimate bacon wrapped hot dog' to Fremont Street. Yet to reveal a precise site at the Neonopolis entertainment complex, but expected to be inside the International Eatery food court, Dirt Dog is currently hiring for the quick-service restaurant, creating its third local outpost. Arriving in the southwest back in 2016 and landing at the Strip’s Grand Bazaar Shops a year later, the expansion eastward to 5105 Sahara Avenue inside the Winterwood Plaza retail center remains under construction. Dubbed the 'Official Hot Dog of Los Angeles,' the brand serves Nathan’s dogs stacked high with toppings, including bacon, pastrami, cheeses, pickles, sauces, hot Cheetos, and chili, plus sides of loaded fries, chicken nuggets, corn, and dessert options of churros and deep-fried Twinkies and Oreos. An exact opening date or future opening hours on Fremont Street have not been announced, but hiring notices suggest the location will be open very late." - Bradley Martin

This place was great! The place is not big at all but makes up for it in every other way. William is his name, the best in the game! He really looked after our experience and made sure our order was great. Even on a busy Saturday night, the food was out in a flash! My filthy fries were like nothing else; the cojita cheese was great. My wife had the chili dog; it was delicious. Thank you for a great meal!

Google
These dogs are no joke! Toasted Lobster rolls with plenty of enjoyable Condiments. The quality was great for all of the items ordered and the staff was very attentive. Wish the lobby area was larger as I only noticed 3 tables inside the rest were outside. Overall great place to enjoy an amazing Hot dog.

In town with a coworker friend for a conference. Hit up Fremont Street for entertainment and food. Made a lap and decided on Dirt Dog. Not disappointed! While the street wasn’t busy, the wait time was minimal to order. Food was hot and prepared fresh. Ingredients were too notch. We sat outside to people watch. Food was delivered to table with a smile. Raul came to check on us as we were finishing up. He and Antonio did a great job tonight! 5/5 would Dirt Dog again!

Google
Great place to go for a HOT DOG! A great variety of options and the ones I tried were really good! I would definitely go back here and order to go or dine in. It was 1 am. when I went and it was crowded but the service is really fast. The atmosphere changes depending on the people that is in the place but in general is good. If you are thinking about hot dog, don't miss going to this place! You won't regret it.

Google
This place was AMAZING!! As someone who manages food and beverage, these guys do it right. Flavorful, unique, and appetizing food offerings, quick hospitable service, and right at the beginning for Fremont Street. You won’t be disappointed with a single item here. Try the Elote dog, and the DUI fries! Antonio was a fantastic employee.

Google
So glad we finally had the chance to try Dirt Dog. And it definitely didn't disappoint whatsoever. From the person serving us, right to the amazing Dogs themselves, the experience was excellent. I had the Snoop Dog and I can't even explain to you how incredible the flavor was. From the sauce on the top, to the Bacon wrapped hot dog itself the flavors all come through with a punch. The same goes for my brother's Dog which was basically just the House Dog, but he said the flavors just pop. So glad we were able to finally try Dirt Dog, as every time we've tried it's just been too busy, and know where to sit as it's not overly big on the inside, and on the hot days 109°F on our day. That's just uncomfortable to eat outside on their patio space. But I definitely highly recommend Dirt Dog to everyone 🌭🌭 😃👍👍

Google
Dirt dogs are incredible! Nathan's hot dogs upscaled to the max!!! Custom bun, bacon-wrapped to the max and topped with all kinds of gourmet ingredients, from pastrami to carne asada. Don't forget about their scrumptious fries. Orlando and the whole staff were fantastic and super hospitable.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 The Philly cheesesteak dog and the house dog were on point. The bread was soft and so good. We also got the dirty fries with the spicy ketchup and those fries were also good!- We also ate this sober Service: 5/5 All the staff we interacted with were cool and the customer service was outstanding! Atmosphere: 4/5- No restrooms for the customers to wash hands.

Yelp
Located right in Fremont, we knew we had to try them after we saw a video on social media featuring them! We came right after they opened on a weekday, so there was no wait. Very laid back ambiance. The young lady at the counter was friendly and shared with us their most popular dog and her personal favorite dog. I chose to go with the dirty chili dog and also ordered the dirty esquite. Let me just tell you, the corn was the show stopper!! . It was so delicious and I enjoyed every bite. I Will 100/10 order that again! The chili dog was pretty good. I enjoyed the flavor but perhaps the chili was too chunky. The Dog is messy yet incredibly filling. I will definitely stop back in to try out another dog and get the dirty esquite!

Luc L.

Yelp
OMG. I'm obsessed. Such a fulfilling DOG -- lives up to the price point. I had the DUI Dog wrapped in Center-Cut Bacon, Pastrami, Carne Asada, Cheddar, Chipotle Aioli, Cilantro, Bacon Bits. Sooo much flavor! I like how it's located at the start of Fremont street so you can decide to eat first and walk the strip or grab it on the way out.

Cameron K.

Yelp
I had been hearing great things about Dirt Dog and this location was close to our hotel. There is a small indoor dining area with a few tables and an out side eating area on Fremont. They have some yummy looking deluxe hotdogs ! I decided on the D.U.I dog and it did not disappoint! It was an all beef hot dog topped with pastrami and Russian dressing. It was divine! I also had the Elote cup which I may have liked even more than the hotdog. It's Fremont so I wasn't surprised at $14.99 for the hot dog but it is massive! It could easily be shared by two people. The food was served fresh and quickly which I appreciated. They have several locations around Vegas, including off the strip. Check them out if you're in town! I will be back in the future!

Lesley Michelle T.

Yelp
Dirt Dog I don't think i have to say much besides these are one of the best hot dogs I've ever tried! when we were eating a customer yelled "these are the best hot dogs i have ever had!!!" The hype is reallll! I consider this a MUST when visiting Vegas. Ambiance is a vibe with Tupac music playing in the background and art on walls of legends such as Tupac and Kobe :) locations in both cali & nevada 10/10 !!!

Lia R.

Yelp
Popped in after a nice night out drinking & this place hit the SPOT! Omg it was delicious. Best hot dog I have ever had. The service was quick. Wishing this was available back home. We got the steak option, forgot the name.

Jeff O.

Yelp
The first time in Fremont St and we go straight to Dirt Dogs. What makes these hot dogs so different is that the bun is a lobster roll bun. It changes the hot dog completely. Such a great idea, one would expect that this would be more common, but it's not. The Elite Fries were so good that we wish there was a bigger portion.

Blessing O.

Yelp
This place a small location on Fremont. Not much seating on inside. More of an order and go type of establishment. They provided friendly service. The hot dog concept here is cool but I think the hot dog is a bit overpriced. You are paying for the nice bun with the extra toppings on the hot dog (dirt dog). Overall, was tasty. We ordered the snoop dogg and the cheese steak. Appreciated the snoop dogg flavor a bit more with the bbq sauce. Wish the cheese steak had a little more flavor and cheese to it. I'd recommend folks to try it out at least once or whenever you're craving a $14 hot dog.

Yelp
We stopped while in town two weeks ago. Oh my god - dirt dog is a MUST! Their hot dogs are ahmazing and HUGE! Admittedly I needed a fork to be able to eat my hot dog. My only small complaint is not a lot of places to sit and really nowhere outside to sit either - which it's Fremont, so makes sense. There is also a location on the strip, which was PACKED when we walked by. Dirt Dog is so good! We will absolutely be back next time we're in town!

Michelle B.

Yelp
This hits the spot so good when you're craving a glizzy. I got the elote dog, and it was amazing. Only con about this place is the location is a bit sus. Either be a man, go with a man, or go with a bunch of girls in the daylight haha.

My Fat Ass K.

Yelp
We come here everytime we visit Vegas. If you love a good glizzy, this is the spot. Definitely try it with that slab of chili and cheese. They had tables set up for you to chow down on that dog.

Jesica B.

Yelp
I would say everything was pretty good and proportionally well for the price. Service was good but it took a while to get the food but I think it was cooked to order. I learned I don't like elote which is disappointing. We sat outside and was supervised by the birds.

Ivo P.

Yelp
There's always the risk of getting crap food at one of those touristy places since they are banking on location. This one is not that. Food was great. Greta value foe the money and tasted awesome. Service - you order at the counter and they give you a number, then bring the food to you. Would definitely go back! Recommend!

Oliver L.

Yelp
First time trying dirt dog. We just came here for a snack while on Fremont Street. We tried the Elote fries, elote cup, fried Oreos , and the fresh watermelon juice. The service was fast. Ambiance is busy since it is on Fremont Street. The food was good. The best is the watermelon juice!!! Literally craving it again lol I'd go back for it!

Lawrence S.

Yelp
I passed this place earlier while walking back from breakfast. It is tucked away between Heart attack grill and Fat Tuesday. It is a hole in the wall literally but in a good way except for the lack of table space. There are maybe 3 tables and a small counter space. I have to say the food is really good especially if you are looking for some good hangover food. I got the carne asada tacos with the red and green sauce. I would give them a 9 out of 10. The dirty fries were really good especially with the spicy ketchup. They were crispy and had a good seasoning to them. But not overly seasoned. Overall i really enjoyed the meal. It is a little pricey for what you get, but it's also on Fremont st. So it's understandable. Great alternative to other food. Will definitely be back to try other menu items. Service was good except the guy at the register was too busy flirting and let the orders back up on the counter. Other wise would have given 5 stars.

Tracy L.

Yelp
Me and my friends are huge hot dog fans, so we had to stop at Dirt Dog while strolling through Fremont St! I ordered the Chili Dog which came with chorizo chili, chipotle aioli, diced onions, cilantro, and bacon bits. It normally comes with cheddar sauce which I opted not to get. I thought the hot dog itself was good, and the toppings were all a nice touch, however, with everything together, it tasted too salty for me. It was a small space, but they had seating both inside and outside which was very convenient. The service was also pretty quick for being very busy.

Dave S.

Yelp
The elote was off the hook!!! Yes, elote at a hotdog place!!! Touch of lime, spicy crema and saltiness from the cheese! Oh ya crispy bacon on top! So good! Next was the hangover dog. Cheese, carne asada, pastrami on top of a hotdog topped with Chipotle aioli and cilantro. First off the hotdog itself had great flavor. Big and juicy. The combination with the melted cheese and carne asada anf pastrami worked! And to top it off, its all on a toasted brioche bun basted with butter! Not your average hotdog! WAY above average!!! Stays open til 3:00 am!!!! Perfect for late night bite!! Friendly staff. Very energetic vibe inside.

Lorri P.

Yelp
Had no idea one of my favorite spots was also downtown on Fremont Street! The service was cool, it's a small corner spot and it was great to hit it after hanging out. The food was amazing but of course I expected nothing less!

Hannah M.

Yelp
Went here for dinner while walking Fremont street. I'll admit I have been wanting to go here for some time but never really decided until Keith Lee went. It was definitely a decent meal, but nothing to write home about. I got the elote dog which had yummy cheese and corn on top. I felt like it was missing something though. The bacon bits were also a little hard. The hot dog was good but would have preferred something with more bite. The toast was good. Also got garlic fries which had a good amount of garlic and the ranch was good too. The whole meal cost me about $20. Giving 3 stars because I wasn't as impressed as I thought I'd be and feel like it's a bit pricey for what you get.

Mary S.

Yelp
Dirt dog is fantastic if you are really hankering for a hotdog buried in toppings and hip hop vibes with super friendly service. Expect to pay $16-$19 for a dog and there might be wait sometimes, you gotta try it at least once. I've tried the DUI dog and couldn't even finish it. This time I tried the asada tacos which were better than miches tacos, in my opinion. You must get the side of garlic fries with either or both of their homemade sauces, garlic sauce and spicy ketchup. This place is small, about 4 tables inside and 4 outside.

Lisa S.

Yelp
Went here close to closing after a long evening of Fremont Street drinking. I don't remember much other than that the staff were great, and the food was delicious. My daughter said her chili dog was the best she had ever had. I know I had a corn dog which is pretty basic I realize, but if I was going to toss my cookies, I felt that was the safest bet. I didn't by the way, and the corn dog rivaled my favorite corn dogs on earth you find inside Disneyland. Wish I had taken a picture but probably couldn't find my phone. Highly recommend this place!

Jose S.

Yelp
Great food. Service sucks, but they might just be annoyed with dealing with loud Vegas tourists, not sure. Felt like I was bugging them.

Antoinette C.

Yelp
The hotdogs are huge and enough for two if you want to split it. The service was quick and vibe is chill.

Karl K.

Yelp
The best elote hotdog!!! A must in Vegas. The guys who there are awesome also. Great staff. It's a tiny place so if there is no seating you need to take your dog to go.

Maronda H.

Yelp
This is one of the places we found on Tik Tok of places to visit in Vegas. We were not disappointed with this place. The beautiful artwork of the late greatest Tupac, Kobe, DMX and Nipsey Hussle graced the walls. The menu was filled with some unique food and drinks. The music had everyone singing along. It was great energy inside this place. The staff was down to earth and entertain their customers. Now let's get into the food. I ordered the House Dog with100% Premium All Beef wrapped inside bacon, grilled veggies, House Spread, Mayo, Mustard, Ketchup, Bacon Bits. My friend ordered the Patty Melt Hot Dog with100% premium all beef wrapped inside bacon, fries, Cheddar Sauce, Chipotle Aioli, Bacon Bits. I give this place an A plus. The food was freshly cooked, hot with some powerful delicious flavors. There were so many items on the menu. I really didn't know what to order. But I was satisfied with my food. I will be back on my next visit.

Kris G.

Yelp
SO GOOD. Looked up popular places on Fremont to eat at and saw Dirt Dog was highly rated. Hidden all the way in the beginning of the Fremont Experience, this small hot dog shop was worth the walk! I love how they have vegetarian options. I got the beyond dog with elote. I really wanted the Snoop Dog but I had my boyfriend get it so he could have it full with the bacon. Both were freshly hot and the presentation of the dogs were beautiful. The flavors are true to what they're described as. Service was really fast and friendly. The cashier even checked up on us even though we dined in and was sitting outside. Highly recommend for a quick bite without the fancy ambience.

Britzel S.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have been trying to go to Dirt Dog forever. Finally, the other day we were able to go in and try these hot dogs. I am not a huge hot dog person but these were really good. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will say this is probably not the nicest restaurant on the inside but nonetheless a quick place to stop and eat at.

Ellen H.

Yelp
The best hotdog hands down. The Snoop Dog and D.U.I. Fries were AMAZING! Best of all the service was quick and the guys were friendly. We will definitely come again. We had to order the plain fries 3 times because we wanted more and more.

Nette B.

Yelp
I stopped by after a show at Neonopolis since I've heard so much about this spot. I ordered the Pastrami Dog. The bread was toasted perfectly. I loved the combination of flavors on every bite. Great spot, and we sat outside people watching.

Mikeeah G.

Yelp
Food always amazing and customer service was great . It's always a vibe upon coming there i feel like I'm home LA all day , you really should go.

Jen C.

Yelp
After visiting their SW Vegas location, it was a no brainer to visit for a quite bite. We got the Dirty Esquite Corn in a Cup and the Carne Asada Fries. Both were delicious and priced similarly to the other location despite being in a more touristy area which could have justified a markup in most cases. Staff was super friendly when taking our order and checking in to make sure we didn't need anything. There is limited seating however so depending on how busy it is, I would probably take to go and walk around. Music is much louder inside so I would recommend to try to grab a seat outside if you can. Fries were super crispy despite the mountain of toppings and everything was well seasoned. Definitely a place worth checking out!

LJ W.

Yelp
This place is on point! When we walked in, we were ready to PARTY! They had the throwback R&B going, and it was just a total vibe! The inside isn't that big, but we managed to grab two seats. The service is quick and efficient. I ordered the Snoop Dog and a side of fried Oreos. My wife got a regular coney with Mexican street corn. The Snoop Dog was amazing, loading with toppings that all blended well together. My favorite part was the Gin and Juice ketchup. It was sweet and savory. The hotdog was a premium dog, and the roll held everything together nicely. My wife loved her corn and was so full she couldn't finish her coney. My only complaint is that for $5.50, you only get two Oreos. But they were tasty and I didn't have to share them so we were good. The next time, I think I'll skip the Oreos and try some of the different styles of fries they offer. Snoop Dog 1-5=5! Fried Oreos 1-5=4. Customer Service 1-5=5!

Clinton B.

Yelp
My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves over here! The food was really good, hot, and fresh! The staff was really nice and friendly and served us our food very quickly! My wife and I loved the atmosphere inside and it was really awesome with the Halloween decorations all over!

Julie S.

Yelp
Wow! What great dogs! Right down on Fremont st., so very convenient. They have cold beer and some pretty great carne asada fries! You won't regret trying this place if you love some Dirty Dogs!

Jaclyn T.

Yelp
What an awesome location! This place is perfect for getting a good meal and not wanting to do a sit-down restaurant. We were walking away from checking out Axe-holes down the way and saw Dirt Dog. I had tried Dirt Dog in the Southwest at a Yelp event so I told my friend we had to stop in and check it out. I got the DUI dog and my friend got the Patty Melt. Totally hit the spot and we were on our way to walk down Fremont street for a bit. The place does have a bit of seating inside and out. There was a line the whole time we were there so it is definitely popular. Check it out!

Jessica P.

Yelp
Obviously we were too hungry to get the initial pictures lol but everything was so delicious! Service was great from the start, one of the workers recommended the spiked sandia agua fresca and it did not disappoint. The tajin rim was perfect combined with the sweetness of the drink. He also brought us out some different salsas which I didn't know they had. I didn't get his name but you could tell he really enjoyed working there! The fries were nice and crispy, the guac and pico tasted very fresh. The carne asada was very tender and didn't have big pieces of fat like other places tend to have. My bf ordered the chili dog and it was packed with flavor! It had different toppings like bacon bits and chorizo which I love We sat on the patio of this location which is on Fremont Street so it's great for people watching! Don't think twice about coming here, it's worth it!

Julie R.

Yelp
Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect from another hot dog spot. Surprisingly it was busy when we finally made our way over. The place was packed inside. The place isn't really big to begin with but I imagine the seats are typically turned pretty quickly. It doesn't take that long to smash a hot dog! They do have a lil bit more on their menu, if you really don't want a hot dog. There is also fries several ways, elote in a cup or a cob on stick along with tacos, desserts and alcoholic beverages if needed. With so many other things to do and see and, of course EAT while we were in Vegas, we didn't plan on having too much here. To be honest, I wanted to take my boyfriend here because of the ode to rappers with the murals they have inside the dining room. I thought it was fun. The music they were playing was right along the same line. Rap and R&B and such. We decided to go with their Chili Dog and shared it. All their dogs are served on lobster rolls which I really liked. It was the chorizo chili that caught our eye on the chili dog description. The hot dog was actually really, really tasty! We almost contemplated going back up to order another one. We looked at each other while we were eating it and said, why didn't we order two? Ha! Rookie mistake! Service was good, fast and the food was the same! Came out fast, and was delicious. If you need a quick pit stop for a snacky-snack while you are walking around Fremont, check them out.

Jolene P.

Yelp
Stop here, try everything, leave happy. Almost all the food has some kind of pork in it, which is a win in my book. There was not one thing we regret eating. The service was fast and even with your typical Las Vegas line it moved quickly. The inside is a little dark but when you are vibing from the drinks on Fremont street it seems like a club. We tell everyone to stop here and they have all raved about the food.

Clorissa C.

Yelp
Loved this vendor! Ordering was simple, quick, and could be done from the counter or bar. Wonderful place to go if it's a nice day in Vegas. Lots of options and is not for one looking for a "light" meal. Good experience if you're looking to walk and eat as well. Just pack some napkins.

Susana C.

Yelp
The hot dog and fries were HOT and delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service. All off the employees were So outgoing and nice. William came by to take our trash and wished us a great trip!

Keeley M.

Yelp
I wanted to check this place out in Vegas just because of the Yelp reviews. What caught my eye was the hot Cheetoh corndog. Unfortunately, this location did not have hot Cheetoh corndogs but the hot dogs did not disappoint. The food was delicious but I needed a nap after it was so filling. Highly recommend checking out this hot dog place if you are in Vegas. We got the patty melt dog, dirty chili dog, and DUI fries. The friends were delicious and I never would have thought pastrami on fries would be good but it was delicious!

OLdweeb G.

Yelp
Dirt Dog - Las Vegas, Fremont Street: Being on a group bus trip and stranded to within walking distance of my hotel (Golden Nugget), I saw the stellar yelp* reviews for Dirt Dog. After enduring the prime time walk-through of the Fremont Experience, I reached the doors expecting to find a packed house. Nope. Only half the seats/tables were filled. There was no blasting music and my walkup order was taken within a minute. I ordered the "House Dog" & "Dirty Fries" as takeout. The card reader screen showed 3 tip levels (25% / 20% / 15% I believe...). But I couldn't make any of them 'go-through.' After about 15 seconds the transaction seemed to auto-complete. The order was ready in 5 minutes and handed to me in a gift style folding paper bag with handles. First an ABC Store stop for a Twisted Tea, then back to my hotel where I eagerly unbagged. The receipt showed NO tip paid. Argh. I should've dropped $2 in the tip jar. Oh well, next time. The base Nathan's Jumbo Frank was greatly upgraded into the House Dog by a well-matched combination of toppings. It was the best tasting hot dog that I can remember. And I'm a big eater. The separately boxed fries were crisp (likely double fried), salty and importantly, plentiful. This meal was well worth the $16.84 price out the door. It's only been a day but I'm eager to go back next year on my annual LV trip!

Siobhan M.

Yelp
Delicious!!!! Get the elote dog! Omg yum! The fries were also soo good. They were out is street corn but it was still worth the visit.

Alexis F.

Yelp
I can see how this place has amazing reviews! The food is delicious, the service is fast and friendly! They encourage their customers to add a review which is honestly great marketing! You don't come across a lot of businesses who have the confidence to ask customers to leave a review! I ordered the elote dog which was bangin!! Super delicious flavors, perfectly cooked and a great way to end the night!

Kirsten F.

Yelp
We got recommended this place by a couple of friends in Los Angeles, so we decided to check it out. We stayed out the four queens on Fremont Street, so this was just a short walk away. From the photos, I expected it to be a much larger place than it was. We walked in through the door, and there was a line all the way to the door, there really wasn't a lot of seating at all. So if you are going with a big family, I would recommend that you do not eat your food here, but take it back to your hotel. There were very few chairs on the patio, so I had to go and reserve three for us, it was a little bit uncomfortable because people saw me reserving chairs, and wanted them for themselves. They definitely need to add more seating for it being such a busy location. It was not very clean either, but the seating is outside, so you can't expect too much from that. Definitely lots of fun people watching with this view. Other than the seating situation, The food was excellent and very quick. They gave us a buzzer, and we got buzzed about three different times. I kind of wish that the food all came together at once, but it was nice to have our drinks first. We ordered the latte dog, the DUI dog, two drinks, I can't remember their name, the fried Oreos and a dirty esquite . I don't really typically eat hot dogs, but they a lot their dog was awesome! The bun was so soft, and the flavors were really awesome together. We ate all of our food and enjoyed it, my brother paid, so I'm not sure what our total bill was.

Alvin C.

Yelp
Good place for a Chili Dog on Fremont Street. Food and service was good. Restaurant is small but they have a couple tables outside. It's better to sit outside.

Michael B.

Yelp
Man these things are delicious! Simple concept but executed perfectly. So much flavor. I suggest you to try especially if you've been drinking heavily on Fremont. Maybe that's what makes them so delicious. Will come again!

Terrance M.

Yelp
The hot dog was delicious. Plain hot dog. Great ambience great music and great friendly service especially with Will.
