"Established in 2013, Dirt Dog brings Los Angles street food to the Las Vegas food scene. Each hot dog is a 100 percent premium all beef hot dog, wrapped in bacon and topped with grilled onions and red and green bell peppers. Customers should order the green dog, a hot dog piled with slices of onions and bell peppers cooked in homemade chimichurri sauce, a layer of guacamole spread with cilantro, lime slice, and bacon pieces as final toppings. First time here. We both got chili dogs. My wife got no cilantro, onions, or bacon bits and made it a combo with chili cheese fries no onions. I got the chili dogs as is. 10/10 super soft bun and great crisp snap of the dog. Bacon wrapped dog at that. Chili has a slight kick to my wife (smh) it doesn’t… it’s great. Oh and the waitress/bartender all in one was amazingly sweet and attentive for it being a Saturday night at 9:30pm and busy. She’s all by herself. Sans the random ninja cook who makes the food super fast and brings it in.

Google
Got a D.U.I dog with a Lemonade and it was delicious! The bartender was great and invited us in for a seat so we weren't standing after I complained about my feet being beat up from all the walking. I also tried the carne asada fries they were great oh and make sure you get fried Oreos!

Google
The girl on staff was patient. She had many customers and she was the only staff member on this side. I didn't know a hot dog could be so tasty! If anything, I personally thought the price was high in general for a hot dog. The DUI fries were good. I'll try the tacos next time.

Google
I dont give many 5 star reviews, but this place is excellent. One of a kind hot dogs, the best fries I've ever had, and amazing, friendly service. All in a cool street vendor/bar/back alley atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Google
My friend and I split the House Dog with the onions and peppers on the side. I’m not typically a hot dog fan, but this was so juicy and flavorful! We also got fountain sodas and those were quite refreshing. Word on the street is… they also give free refills, but you didn’t hear it from me. 🤫

Google
tried the house dog with the house sauce—it was just okay. The sauce tasted mostly like plain mayo, nothing special. But the bread was amazing—pan-seared with butter, super tasty! The meat was also really good. Prices are very reasonable, and it’s in a great location—right across from the Bellagio, with lots of street food and souvenir shops nearby. Super accessible spot for a quick bite!

Google
So I'm from Michigan, we are very picky with hot dogs being it's where kogels are made and we have several different chili dogs depending on where you grew up from the flint Coney to Detroit style so I was apprehensive about trying a hot dog even after seeing it all over reels and the good reviews but I will dream about this hot dog until I have it in my mouth again. We got the hot hot dog and it was spicy but the flavor profile on this thing was unlike anything I had ever tried a little pricey but so good.we were able to split the combo and it was plenty for 2 of us without being overly full in the heat and with drinking. I did see the hot hot dog was new and I hope they make it permanent because I would come to Vegas again just to get that hot dog, if you like heat it's a must try eat while here.

Google
Some good spicy and humongous hot dogs! They are served on a unique bun and fillings are in plenty. One dog will fill you up even though it’s a little pricey. Quick and efficient service. It’s a very busy place and it’s street food like service. Very close to the Flamingos..

Yelp
No inside seating, just tables outside. Best spot is at the bar because at least a fan is blasting air at you. This is an LA chain that serves up mexican hotdogs (hot dogs with taco inspired toppings), tacos and loaded fries. Taco Tuesdays offers a great deal of 3 tacos and a half margarita for $17. The half margarita is honestly the size of a reg margarita back home. You can get tacos al pastor or carne asada. Was good. Also tried the carne asada fries. Portions were good. The fries were $14 and i got a 20oz cocktail for $15. Good eats on a budget away from the price gouging in the hotels.

Yelp
This is a fast food restaurant. I wasn't expecting that. I was not impressed with their hotdogs. They were greasy. I won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
So freaking hyped to get me some dirt dogs...Heard so many things about dirt dogs....Gunna get dirty, all up in that dog...Gunna.....be disappointed. I mean it was fine. Creative dogs for sure, steady stream of people grabbing one to go, but the quality just wasnt there. I'm fairly certain that you need to be drunk to really enjoy it. Being a sober individual I don't think I'll ever be able to truly experience it the way it's supposed to be experienced.....with lack of judgment. Worth trying but won't be going back for the dogs. Interested in trying those carne asada fries though.

Yelp
Dirt Dog brings the taste of downtown LA street food to the Las Vegas strip. I think they expanded their menu since I only remember hot dogs, fries and elote corn on their menu the last time I was here. Now they have street tacos and wings too - with daily specials every day. I've had one of their hot dogs, elote corn last time and those were tasty and filling. This time I came on a Wednesday for lunch and saw their chicken wings daily special with fries and a drink. However I wasn't feeling it and instead ordered the Al Pastor pork tacos, topped with guacamole, onions/cilantro, and a mango salsa (about $13 and it comes with 3 small tacos). Spicy al pastor pork was marinated and cooked nicely. I was a bit surprised when I saw the mango salsa - it was bright yellow/orange and was more of a puree sauce rather than minced fruit salsa. Regardless, it was still flavorful and satisfied my tastebuds and budget that day. Located at the end of one of the aisles in the back of the Grand Bazaar shops.

Yelp
I wanted a quick bite and saw an ad for this spot so I had to see what it was all about. I love trying creative food and this falls in that category. I got the house dog. It was delicious and pretty fun to try. I kinda wish I went for something more adventurous, but the house dog alone filled me up so I'm sure the other options would work if I was hungrier. I thought it would be really greasy considering it has bacon bits but it wasn't. Just packed with flavor.

Yelp
Fun place tucked in one of the store alleyways. Lively crowds with lots of options. We went with the elote dog and the house dog, both which did not disappoint. At first glance it looks very unmanageable, but they are actually quite easy to pick up. Love the choice of bun as it deviates away from your typical hot dog bun. This place combines a lot of familiar flavors in hot dog form. I'd say there is something here for everyone!

Yelp
Stopped by a Sunday afternoon and why not enjoy a Dirt Dog and some fries. I had a plain hot dog with Pastrami. Also, ordered the Dirty Fries. Man, it was so good. Stop by and check them out.

Yelp
Came here for a light snack! They have a bar section and food ordering next door. We got their Elote Dog and it was bomb! A little pricier for a hot dog, but it was good quality sausage with toasted bread. Great Combo and I was satisfied. Service was friendly.

Yelp
When first getting to Vegas we tried Rock N Potato (you have to try Rock N Potato 10/10) and saw that Dirt Dog was right next to it. So we decided to try it one night after some gambling and walking up and down the strip. During the day the lines are average size but at night the lines are a little longer along with wait times. When you walk into Dirt Dog it's actually part of a food court but it does have plenty of seating available, they have a cool mural of Snoop Dog and the menu has the essentials for a good meal. We ordered the Mexican Corn in a cup, Pineapple Agua Fresca, Chili Fries, and a Plain Dog. The Mexican Corn in a cup was average tasting but I'll probably skip it next time I come, but I did appreciate how fresh the corn was and that it wasn't from a can. My Agua Fresca was delicious and I want to try all the flavors next time. The order of Chili Fries came with a lot of fries and the chili meat was so flavorful and the cheese was good too. The chili was so good I can only imagine how it tastes on a hot dog. The Plain Hot Dog was good too, I like that they put the hot dog on a thicker bun so that all the toppings don't fall out. Overall the food was good and tasty. I would recommend any of their specialty hot dogs because they load them up and all their ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Also it's a nice spot for a quick valuable bite.

Yelp
Came by on a Tuesday at 8pm in January. Located near the Horseshoe hotel but outside along with the other little restaurants. There was no wait. You can also order ahead through Door Dash. Staff were friendly to take my order. I got the elote dog. It was ready in under 10 minutes. There's some seatings outside. My elote dog was okay. I thought the elote was a big dry. It needed more sauce. Probably best eaten right away. I ate mine when I got to my hotel room so the bread wasn't warm and fluffy. The hot dog is a basic hot dog like you get from Costco.

Yelp
Quick review. I loved the Dirt Dog location off Fremont Street. But this one was okay. The line was super long and we waited for almost an hour to order our food. This location is located off the strip in a small center near Planet Hollywood. Across the street is the Bellagio. We wanted to try this location out because we didn't want to take an uber to Fremont Street. I ordered the elote dog and 2 tacos. After ordering, it took a few mins to get our food. There is seating in front of the establishment but I counted only 3 tables. However, there is a bar connected to it, so you can also sit there, order drinks, and eat. The elote dog didn't taste as good as the one that I tried at the Fremont Street Experience. I think they forgot to add mayo or the sauce that they put on it. Although it wasn't all that I expected, it was still good and the food hit the spot. Will definitely eat here again, only if the line is short.

Yelp
Great bodega just off the strip in Vegas. Great prices for good eats. Had the Al Pastor tacos, great flavor and the tomatillo sauce was . Did think the pork was a little dry but was nicely seasoned.

Yelp
I love me a hot dog! And the choices here delicious! Vibe was nice we came on a Monday night so happy they were still open! Service was quick and fun. Definitely recommend and want to come back!

Yelp
Saw this spot advertised and was curious about their LA inspired cuisine. Located right off the strip, this place is a small spot that seats maybe 10 people inside of the actual bar, but has a window that you can order food from. Inside had its own unique LA arts vibe that was cool. Although I didn't try one of their well known upscale dogs, I did try the tacos because of course it was Tuesday. Ended up getting the Al pastor tacos which were very good and true to what you would expect. Served with a sauce that was a little sweeter than my liking, buts still a good taste. I also ended up trying the elote. At first glance I thought it looked a little heavy on the cream side, but it ended up being the right balance of spices. A fun topping that added character was some bacon bits on top that elevated this side dish which I thought was a nice touch that added additional crunch. I had a great customer service while visiting this spot. Everyone was friendly and the service was quick. I would recommend this spot again! Check out the photos.

Yelp
Tommy helped us here and he was super friendly and gave great recommendations and explanations of the food and drinks offered. We went with the elote dog, cut in half, and an order of the DUI fries. This was enough for two of us to split. The elote dog was really good. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned. There could have been more aioli but overall it was really good. I would definitely give this a try for a casual, less expensive, treat meal on the strip.

Yelp
Dirt Dog is located on the Las Vegas Strip at Grand Bazaar Shops, next to Fuel Bar. Menu offers a nice selection of hot dogs including fries, tacos, corn, and desserts. Elote Dog ($11.75) is my favorite and very filling! They use premium beef hot dog wrapped in bacon, and it comes with a generous serving of corn, lime mayo, cotija cheese, chili powder, bacon bits, and cilantro, served with lime, very delicious! Dirty Esquite ($6.95) is great and tasty! It's a good serving of corn with lots of cotija cheese, lime mayo, chili powder, bacon bits, more lime, and really good! For dessert, Deep Fried Oreos ($4.95) is yummy! It's two double stuffed oreos that are deep fried in house batter, served with a delightful horchata whipped cream. With Yelp check-in, you get one free order of deep fried oreos, which is awesome! Service from Lilianna and Tee is outstanding! I initally placed an order with Lili, and she's very efficient. They have indoor seating at the bar, it's a relaxing atmosphere with good music. Tee went above and beyond, providing exceptional service. She is very kind, accommodating, friendly, attentive, and pleasant!

Yelp
This is located outside the old Horseshoe hotel. Its tucked in between the variety of shops and stores that is outdoors. The ordering process was a bit confusing since they have a full bar and then the food section. During peak times you order with the bar, but the three times we've been its always been with the food stall. The food is made fresh and piping hot. Hot Dogs range from pretty plain to loaded with all the toppings. The price ranges as well. I will say the plain dog is expensive for what it is. The toppings are delish, but most of the time it ends up off the dog. The fries however are my favorite part. They are always piping hot and so flavorful. Garlic Fries: always a fan favorite, i always ask for extra garlic and it always feels like the perfect amount. Elote Fries: i love the elote fry more than the elote dog. If you get them both, eat the hot dog over the fries and its just extra topping for the fries Filthy Fries: the bacon is the right move, however the two sauces mixer are not my favorite. I would ask for them on the side next time. Overall this is a great late-night spot but it comes with Strip pricing so be aware.

Yelp
I've been seeing posts and reels about dirt dogs and I HAD to try it out. It did not disappointed! This location is across of the Bellagio, part of the Grand Bazaar Shops. There's a window to order just the food or you can order drinks and food at the bar window. There's a few bar stools and a few tables and chairs in the area too. But it's a first come, first serve situation. So grab and go kind of thing. That's why I took away a star... but we went at a good time! So that helped a lot. They have all types of interesting hot dog combinations/toppings. I decided to share an Elote dog with my Fiance. It was sooo good! We also drank a few Mexican candy shots. Those were dangerously delicious! Our bartender Niecesa (I'm sorry if I spelled your name wrong...), was amazing! Great service and good company. I will definitely come to this specific location!
google avatar

Anriella D.

Yelp
Sat at the bar and it was super crampped. I ordered the dui dog. Dirt dog is not a seated restaurant, its more of a stand. It was a busy night, so seating was very limited.
google avatar

Gene W.

Yelp
Amongst the many shops of the Grand Bazaar is this hole-in-the-wall hot dog spot. Strong flavors were prominent with our DUI dog. Piled on top of the bacon-wrapped beef hot dog was more crumbled bacon, pastrami, and a spicy queso cheese sauce. This item might be too rich & salty for some. Staff was nice. Final note: watch out for the local pigeons in and above the dining area.
google avatar

Greg C.

Yelp
This was our 3rd stop coming from LA and the service, food, and drinks did not disappoint one bit. Our waitress Tee was great and we hope to come back again when we stop by Vegas.
google avatar

Brian M.

Yelp
Located in front of the Horseshoe Casino on the Strip, is this small food shack. They sell a variety of creative hotdogs, but I was here for a cup of elote (street corn in a cup). So good and nice snack after walking down the Strip or drinking and dancing at Ole Red. Will be back.
google avatar

Quentina W.

Yelp
This is truly one of the places you must try when in Vegas and if you're not from SoCal! I'm not a hot dog person, so this place really says a lot about their food. Service was very straight forward! Homegirl was funny and a vibe! We got two items from there, the DUI dog and the Snoop dog Both were delicious. Snoop dog had a very light bbq sauce that goes well with the hot dog, while the DUI had pastrami and bacon. Both could be very heavy and probably clog your arteries, but it's so so so worth a try! Also we received free pineapples too! This place is located right outside of the horseshoe hotel, so after eat you can walk right back and either gamble or go to an arcade that they have there (:
google avatar

Michael Q.

Yelp
The service is beyond amazing very laid back and easy chill spot with the game on! The hot dog and fries were spot on! Rate out of 5. Chili cheese dog was 4.7 and garlic fries 4.2! Great for a light lunch hot dogs are normal sized but toppings are generous!
google avatar

Erika N.

Yelp
The best hot dogs in Las Vegas! This location is located conveniently on the strip in front of the Horseshoe. It's more of a quick grab n go set up with some outside & inside bar seating. My absolute favorite thing here is the elote dog. It's so good every single time. It's really the lobster roll style bun that makes a difference for me. I also really enjoyed the garlic fries & fried Oreos. I feel like you can't go wrong with anything here. Glizzy gang, this is a must visit for you!
google avatar

Tom C.

Yelp
It's hard to find, but worth the effort. It's down a semi-covered "alley". Only a few outdoor tables, but delicious food. The chili dog was great! The toasted lobster roll was a difference maker. The dog itself had a lot of flavor, and the chili was excellent....just the right amount of cilantro and onion. It isn't cheap, but I didn't leave hungry with the dog and fries.
google avatar

Kelly B.

Yelp
Dayummmmmmm. This place is bomb. We got the dui dog, carne asada fires and el pastor tacos. Everything was phenomenal. There isn't a lot of seating. It's a small place. It's got food truck vibes. Me and my 2 kids split everything. It's such huge portions it was the perfect amount for the 3 of us. It is counter service. It's not a sit down restaurant. Again. Food truck vibes.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
My friend really wanted hot dogs and I was like Dirt Dog has one nearby. This is just a little stand and there's not a lot of places to sit and eat around here. We scoped the seating and snagged a couple seats outside. I tried the chili dog this time and it was good, but spicy. Think I prefer other dogs though. This location has a ton of drinks to choose from though. A lot of people were just ordering cocktails. I can say if I were drinking they definitely have a nice variety to choose from and the prices seem fair. They look really good, that's for sure. Staff was friendly and busy.
google avatar

Jan C.

Yelp
Dirt dog is a great stop on the strip. La Pina Loca drink was a great mix of sweet and spicy. Some fun dog choices. The chili and DUI dogs were both tasty. Garlic fries were loaded with garlic and nice and crisp. There was just one server, but he was rockin' it. If you was a seat, get there earl as the space is small.
google avatar

Tiffiny H.

Yelp
We had one in Pasadena, CA, but it is no longer here. I was in Vegas over the summer during their awful heat wave, for a work conference and this Dirt Dog was in between my hotel and the hotel the conference was at. If I had to choose between hot dogs and hamburgers, I am going hot dogs every time. The dogs and buns are good. It is a pretty small place. Service was a bit slow and there weren't very many people there.
google avatar

Amanda D.

Yelp
I'm not a big hot dog fan but these were very good. The elote dog and chili fries hit the spot.

kate R.

Yelp
Stopped by late on our first night in Vegas. Great dog and reasonable prices! I don't recall the name of our server but she was great!
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Came here after a long day and night. We each got a chili dogs, then added garlic fries and DUI fries. There's seating at a bar but only a couple. The service was good. The food---you gotta eat here!! Such a hole in the wall but the food was AMAZING!!!!
google avatar

Jenny W.

Yelp
Good tasting hotdog. I just wished I had more room in my stomach to try the other varieties. Will be back to try other flavors. There isn't much seating around but we were lucky to nab a high top table nearby.
google avatar

Karen W.

Yelp
The DUI dog was pretty good. There was so much stuff like bacon and chopped pastrami sprinkled over the dog. I couldn't tell whether the dog was wrapped in bacon. Overall, it was very good.
google avatar

Jack B.

Yelp
$5 cans of beer. Very legit tacos. Don't buy the draft beer it actually cost more money. When in Vegas never be afraid to compare prices. I bought a $12 beer in the lobby gift shop before I came here for a $5 can.
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
One of the best hot dogs and fries I have ever had. The elite dog and elite fries were amazing, service was great took only about five minutes to get our order and was reasonably priced for being on the strip!
google avatar

Shane C.

Yelp
We were walking the strip and found dirt dog. Dirt dog is not a restaurant, more of a hot dog stand. Dirt dog bar is next door with a handful of seats and outdoor seating. We ordered to go, our hotel wasn't far. I can't pass up a bacon wrapped hot dog and that's exactly what I ordered. The house dog for $8.95 was everything I hoped it would be. My bf loves corn so he went with the elote dog for $11.25. It tasted just like elote! It does get a bit messy but worth it. We also can't go without ordering buffalo wings, it has a kick that makes you crave more. 5 wings for $9.95. The service was OK, it took awhile for our food to be ready. There are other locations in Vegas and SoCal. This is my first time visiting a dirt dog and I can't wait to run into another location.
google avatar

Bernice P.

Yelp
I was refraining from eating anything unhealthy but I was persuaded by the menu and I'm so glad I deviated from my food restriction and gave this place a shot. It was definitely worth the sacrifice. This was the recommended item of the day and I savored every little bite, lol! To top it off I received their fried oreos for checking in on Yelp! It was delicious and the service was great!
google avatar

Kenyetta C.

Yelp
Always good. I no longer eat pork but the elote fries were so good. It's located in the shops right in front of the Horseshoe. The service was good. Although we ordered to go, they also have a dine-in area as well. It's very fast paced by not overwhelming where you feel rushed to order. My foodie friend enjoyed her Snoop Dog hot dog. From the outside looking in, the dine-in/bar area was pretty standard. Dirt Dog is definitely worth trying.
google avatar

Susie T.

Yelp
This place was awesome! One of the better hotdogs I've had. I had hotdogs in Chicago that was marvelous, but this just as good, if not, better. I love the flavor of elote, and they had elote fries! So great! Their hotdogs was filling and so satisfying! Definitely my go to when I need a good dog!
google avatar

Viviana M.

Yelp
This place was great. They have a bar where you can sit and enjoy your food. The staff was polite and attentive. The food is delicious and hotdog portions are generous. We had the elote dog, the DUI dog, and the filthy fries. Highly recommend them all. The filthy fries do come with guac. It's just hard to see because it is under the sauce.
google avatar

Sophie O.

Yelp
Went here cause Keith Lee told me too, disappointed. Mexican route is the way to go. Had a super sweet waitress, gave us taco recommendations that we totally should've followed Dirty Chili Dog 6.75/10 (100% Premium All Beef Nathan's Dog, Wrapped in Center-Cut Bacon, Chorizo Chili, Cheddar Sauce, Chipotle Aioli, Onion, Cilantro, Bacon Bits.) - Skyline Chili would crush this chili dog. Very mid. Dirty Esquite 8.5/10 (Lime Mayo, Cotija Cheese, Chili Powder, Cilantro, Bacon Bits, Lime) - this was great! Carne Asada Tacos 8.5/10 (Asada Tacos (3) with Monterey Jack Cheese, Onion, Cilantro. Side of Salsa Roja or Salsa Verde, Lime.) - great tacos. Absolutely destroyed the hotdogs. Would totally get these again.
google avatar

Renee S.

Yelp
Even though we were walking through the horseshoe, this place was a little hard to find. The staff were friendly and I was able to check in on the yelp app and received a free deep fried oreo. I'd never had one before and I really enjoyed. I liked the esquite cup. My husband said the bacon threw him off, but I thought it added to the depth of flavor. When you specialize in an item, I'm expecting to be wowed. But honestly, I wasn't. The chili on my chili dog wasn't generous. I liked their choice of bun. There were some bad bites in the carne asada. There really isn't any seating at this particular location so be prepared to walk and eat.
google avatar

Yelp
TL;DR: Yummy gourmet hotdogs. Elote was soooo good This review may be biased because I am a sucker for hotdogs in general. This location was nestled in the strip of shops/restaurants that are in the Grand Bazaar near the Horseshoe. FOOD: ~Patty Melt Dog (4.5/5): Hotdog, fries. cheese sauce.. what else could you want. But I did wish there was like a pickled onion or peppers or something to cut through the richness ~DUI dog (4.5/5): Pastrami. Carne Asada. Cheese Sauce. The meats in this hotdog were actually super soft and flavorful! Again, wanted some type of acid to cut through the richness ~Carne Asada Fries (4/5): Really good and heavy. The guac and pico were a nice touch to smooth out the greasiness ~Dirty Corn/Elote (5/5): Again, I'm a sucker for corn, but this was SO GOOD!!!! Messy but good. They also make it in a cup, which I was going to go back for but didn't have time :( If you love hotdogs, then you gotta try this spot!
google avatar

Vanessa G.

Yelp
We visited Dirt Dog FIVE times during this Vegas trip. Yes, FIVE. If you love loaded fries or hotdogs, THIS PLACE is it! Tried the carne asada fries one day, then woke up the next morning craving more fries, so we went back. The second time I got the elote fries! Sooooo delish! They aren't on the menu for some reason, but all you have to do is ask for them. We had about 5 rounds of the Mexican candy shots before heading out to our show, and they hit the spot. The servers were kind to us, refilling our waters and continuously checking in on us. The place was clean & the vibes were good. We'll for sure be coming back every time we're in Vegas.
google avatar

Victoria W.

Yelp
ordered the pork al pastor tacos (with guacamole, onion and cilantro, and pineapple salsa). the tacos were small, but the flavors were incredible. everything complemented each other perfectly, and the pineapple salsa added a great sweet and tangy touch.

Yelp
Wanted something quick on the strip and came across Dirt Dog-- great choice! The menu is a but small, but they essentially have the same hot dogs as they do fries and then fried Oreos for dessert (which you can currently get for free with checking in on Yelp)! Sky was our waitress and she was so nice and very attentive! She was servicing like 12-15 people during our stay and she was always on top of water refills and chatting up the customers. She gave us great recommendations to eat as well! I ordered the Filthy Fries (one of Sky's recommendations) and they were delicious! Tons of cotija cheese, queso and the best part was all the toppings were throughout the fries, not only on top! My husband got the DUI Dog (which was another option of fries that I was thinking of) and it had a lot of good flavor when I tried it! We got this as a quick snack, but it was a bit of a heavy meal. We also ordered a Dirty Mango Margarita and it was bigger than we expected! Good for solo drinking or to share since it was $17! There's also an air conditioned area inside (at first we thought it was only outdoor seating), but they have a couple of TVs too and great music (Snoop Dogg, West Coast Classics, etc)! Would definitely recommend going here!
