The perfect spot to unwind with a great view, tasty bites, and strong craft beers! Perched on a hilltop, this brewery overlooks stunning vineyards and a scenic valley, making it an ideal place to relax and take it all in. Inside, there’s a small shop with merchandise like t-shirts, hats, and stickers, along with cozy indoor seating. Outside, you’ll find a spacious deck with plenty of tables and chairs, a lower deck, scattered seating throughout the property, and even lawn games and a small playground for kids. They host several food trucks on rotation, each offering seasonal menus made with fresh ingredients from the farm. We ordered a cheese pizza, fries, and nuggets — all solid picks — but the real highlight was the craft beer: bold, flavorful, and just the right kick. We had a great time soaking in the views, enjoying delicious food, and sharing laughs and drinks with friends.

Came here on my Airbnb host’s recommendation. Lovely brewery with a nice view, peaceful vibe, and good beer. Staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. Just wish there were more food options and that I could’ve stayed longer for the live music.

We hiked the trail that starts at the brewery and had a wonderful time. Please wear pants and/or bug spray! I didn’t realize how grassy the trail was going to be and picked several ticks off of me while drinking my end of the trail celebratory beer. The trail is well marked by red arrows. My Apple Watch clocked it as 3.36 miles with 608 feet elevation gain starting and ending from the back door of the brewery. The best part is the reward at the end!

Amazing huge brewery overlooking the valley. One of the best outdoor patios I’ve seen for a brewery. Good beer and a food truck with tasty options.

Google
Absolutely fantastic place!! We could have stayed here forever. The view is spectacular, the staff is super friendly, the food was delicious, and most importantly the beers are fresh, clean, and balanced! There are an array of options and style of beers that are definitely authentic and well made. If we lived in the area, we would absolutely be regulars. Go up the mountain! You won’t regret it.

Google
This place has the best view! The beers are great, the service is awesome and there is a food truck on site. Also their merch is fantastic.

Google
Beautiful! Nice hiking trail behind the brewery. And great ambiance to rest after!

Google
Fantastic views! The beer menu is limited but my husband and I both found things we liked. The food menu changes but there was a soft pretzel and a brisket pizza among other offerings today. They have ice cream, salsa and chips, and sodas to buy too There's cornhole, trails, a sandbox for the kids, and the views to take in. A decent amount of indoor seating as well. We'll be back!

Yelp
We love this brewery! It it situated right next to Bluemont winery and Henway cidery. There is a wonderful 3 mile trail right off the parking area so you can do a hike before or after your visit. They usually have The Oyster/shrimp guy there the first weekend of the month. The beers are well done and flavourful. We tried the Peach beer on our last visit. They also have a food truck with pizza, burgers and stuff.
google avatar

Alex H.

Yelp
Very limited in draft beers and limited seating, both indoor and outdoor, and 2 tables were reserved for no reason. Limited food venue, i.e, only one food truck. Ordered pretzel with pimiento cheese, which was frozen, and could barely dip the pretzel in it. French fries was alright. Not much to say other than meh and not going back. Should have gone a little further to Bear Chase.
google avatar

Juan F.

Yelp
We came here after Bear Chase. I really enjoyed the space. Nothing like grabbing a beer, or two, maybe even three and sit at the lawn overseeing the view. Service was friendly and quick.

Yelp
I've heard so much about Dirt Farm Brewery for years, I finally got a chance to check them out! What a beautiful property! It really makes you feel like you're standing on top of the world! The drive up is so scenic, and relaxing. And of course, the incredible view, once you arrive will put all your worries aside, if just for a moment. We arrived here right when they opened on Wednesday at 12:00, no one else was here. We had my friend's four year old son with us. I got Tart 31 Cherry Ale, my friend got the Peachy Mother Pucker, both of these are sours. I especially liked the tartness of my Cherry Ale. It was sour, cherry and refreshing. For food, we got the pretzel and the hotdog. The food was below average. The pretzel was really hard, potentially stale. The hotdog was average. It had some chips on the side as well as some chili peppers. They also have a pretty big sandbox filled with toys for the littlest brewery goers. We all had such a fun time at Dirt Farm! The beers were delicious, the boy had a great time playing in the massive sand box, and of course the view was the best part. I highly recommend a visit to Dirt Farm!

Yelp
Dirt Farm is my happy place in Virginia. My family loves coming here on the weekends, enjoying a cold brew, and admiring the views. They always have a great selection of beers on tap with seasonal rotations. The food from the food truck is great too. I love that they're dog friendly and have plenty of picnic tables and Adirondack chairs to choose from. There's even a large sandbox for kids to play in. Dirt Farm is a must to visit!

Yelp
So there I was, being picked up at the BWI airport (flew in from AZ), and my friends turn to me and ask "Are you ready?" The next thing I know, we're whisked away to Virginia. They know I LOVE an adventure. Well, I was definitely in for a beautiful treat. The panoramic view is incredible! And to be able to enjoy it by a fireplace or gas fire with a beer in hand and funny conversations with my friends, it was the best. We met a cute dude named "Shawn," at the firepit and it turned out we had a lot in common. We shared stories of our time in Germany and handmade items. He liked my hats I made (crocheted). The "lodge" overlooks the panoramic tiered view of the valley. It provided a beautiful backdrop for some shots of our beers. The beer was light and refreshing. It really hit the spot from having mainly polish beers. The outdoor area is impressive and smart. They have a stand alone stage, which sits lower so it does not obstruct the views and has wrapped around tiered seating with picnic tables. 3 tiers provide plenty of seating for large groups and families. Or you can sit on top and enjoy a gas firepit, or my favorite spot is the deep-set fireplace under the patio. Whatver spot you choose, you will not be disappointed. Parking is right up by the building so no need to take a long hike to enjoy yourself. I highly recommend this and their wine house down the hill.

Yelp
Decent food, good beer, friendly service and amazing views. They are owned by the same family as Bluemont and Great Country Orchards, all located within a few minutes of here. They have a large outdoor area and a decently sized indoor area if the weather isn't cooperating. You can order at the main counter for both drinks and beer, and pick up the food at an adjacent counter area when ready. For the food we went with the dill pickle wings and the nachos. Its not a huge portion, but the two dishes were more than enough for two of us. The dill pickle wings do have a definite dill pickle taste and were quite good- plus come wit extra pickles. The nachos were pretty standard. For the beer we went with the Bourbon Barrel Barleywine which was quite good and had a very nice bourbon flavor to it. Definitely worth a stop on your Loudoun Wine/ Beer tour!

Yelp
Stopped in here on a beautiful late summer day. The beers were okay, but the views and outdoor seating area are fantastic. The food menu is sparse but has enough on it to get something to eat. Lots of unsupervised kids running around. Service is quick.

Yelp
Amazing view and great beer, favorite brewery I visited in the area during my stay. Would recommend!

Yelp
The most gorgeous view while sipping on a brew IN ALL OF VIRGINIA. The place doesn't get too packed and the selection is pretty wide. They even have sours (it's an acquired taste, I know). Small plates for food, but very tasty. Unforgettable ice cream sandwiches. Don't leave without getting one!

Yelp
Visited here for the first time after going to Great Country Farms. It's a bit of a drive up to get there, but once you get to the top the views are incredible! There's plenty of seating options available in the front, inside, and outside. The wide terraced patio outside allows for the most amazing views. Food offerings were pretty simple and they also had other snacks for purchase. Staff were very friendly and the selection of beers were excellent. This place is a must visit in the fall!
google avatar

Rolando A.

Yelp
Everything was excellent. Had fantastic time with friends. Would highly recommend for an enjoyable and relaxing outing. And the beer is great!!!!

Charles O.

Yelp
Beers is good, pretzel was good. My turn off is the menu at the "food truck". First it was just average or maybe slightly under average taste wise. And my biggest issue was the place doesn't post a menu. How hard is it to tell folks that for fall you are serving chicken tacos, a hot dog, a beef taco and 1 other item? We have a picky eater for a kid and when we asked if the hot dog was plain or came with condiments already on it the lady selling it giggled and said she had no clue. It makes justifying driving out to this place. If we weren't at the farm across the street and an hour and 15 from home we probably would have just drove home and ate. I will say that the view from this place, the patio and the staff were nice.
google avatar

Bobbi N.

Yelp
Best view in the area. A must see if you're in the area. Had a great Honey Helles beer - full bodied, great tasting. Also enjoyed the marbled pretzel and cheese dip. Perfect with the beer on a crisp day. Always a great place to spend the day.

Yelp
We went there today for the Nomini Bay Oyster Fest. The oysters are out of this world . They are the biggest and tastiest Oysters out there. "NAKED AND NOT AFRAID OYSTERS" the farm has spectacular views and is set up beautifully . Lots of seating area in different spots . There was also a food truck which belongs to the farm and the food looked good. Service was excellent and staff were really nice and accommodating.

Yelp
What a view!! The beer and cider are delicious as well. Eclectic and awesome, this is definitely worth a visit. A lot of seating areas to choose from.

Yelp
Dirt Farm had consistently been a favorite getaway destination after a long week of work. It's a bit of a drive for us and had been worth it. Beer was okay; good seasonals. Vibe was beautiful and welcoming. Watching it expand for past 6 years has been exciting. And food was pretty good... Until now. We had the most disappointing night up on the hill recently. We've been going to Dirt Farm for some 6 years and particularly the last couple years specifically for the fish fry. Tonight was 100% nothing like the past many times we've had their fish. Before it was ample, well seasoned, and consistently well prepared. And the system of ordering ahead ensured a 2 hour drive up would culminate in an expected meal. We waited about an hour to receive platefuls of disappointment. And those fries you see in the photo? Nope. They served it with rock hard, cold waffle fries on this recent visit. Terrible. False advertising in a number of ways, including kicking multiple groups of people in the middle of dining out of a room that suddenly became reserved for a party, leaving many of us without seats. I let them know our disappointment in both the fish and fries (not even mentioning it was flavorless, which we even heard an older whyte woman saying it was flavorless and needed seasoning) on a post. They didn't hold accountability. They instead deleted the comment. (Edit: I see they now unhid the comment but my wife did not see it.) This is one of many reasons tonight's vibe was absolutely nothing like what we've experienced before. And a 20+ year Marine veteran left disrespected. With so very many consistently great options in the commonwealth, it's a hard pass on Dirt Farm now.

Yelp
The view is breathtaking & the beers are wonderful. The back patio was dog friendly with a fireplace. Even though the weather was chilly, we had a great afternoon. Hot honey pepperoni pizza was very good!

Yelp
What a super chill place to grab a beer and hangout! Drive up the windy road up the hill. You'll hit a fork in the road. Left goes to the windery and right goes here. Parking was a breeze up here. We picked up some IPAs. I got the Honey Helles which was pretty good. What made the drink even better was the view! Nice green view as far as you can see. It's definitely different than what I'm used to from San Diego's rolling hills with nothing but dirt amd boulders. We really liked this place. This was a top fav for my friend who brought me here. Definitely recommend it.

Yelp
Amazing brewery with a view that can't be beat. Lots of outdoor seating, as well as indoor. They typically have food trucks, as well as their own food on sight. It's a great place to enjoy some live music and take in the scenic view. It's become one of my favorites to take family and friends that are visiting from out of town. They have lots of upcoming events like Yule log bonfires, oyster festivals, and their ugly sweater jubilee where all pints are $5 if you wear a tacky sweater. Currently, they have specialty holiday craft beverages as well! The only downfall is the parking lot can get crowded. On the weekends it becomes a hot mess trying to find a spot during its busy times. I typically go shortly after they open so I'm sure to find a spot.

Yelp
Excellent venue for enjoying a beverage and taking in a great view. Even with a bit of fall in the air, the outdoor fireplace was a nice area to take the chill off. The beverage selection was good and the food was outstanding,, the pulled pork, jalapeño fries were excellent. The live music was good, not overpowering, and everybody was able to talk without having to speak over the music. Definitely a great place to be during the change of season, the colors were fantastic and we were even able to catch a rainbow overlooking the valley below.

Yelp
Great view- food not worth the price- it was trivia night so the atmosphere was great. Bar attendant very helpful.

Yelp
Great place to go after a long hike at Raven Rocks! My friends and I came here to get some beer and food to treat ourselves. I personally did not try the beer but my friends loved the ones they tried - they liked the sweetness of the beer and would recommend it even though they aren't "beer kind of people". I ordered some food from the food truck and wow, it was expensive. My friend's chicken sandwich + chips was $13 and he said the buns were cold, which overall made the sandwich less enjoyable. We also got the chili fries for $14 and there were barely any fries in there (maybe like 12 potato wedges?). Overall, the chili was tasty but the price is not justifiable. This place has great views and a lot of seating area outdoors! A lot of people were taking pictures here because you can overlook a vast valley. Very pretty, highly recommend for the views and beer but not the food.

Yelp
Grab a flight of beers, take a seat at one of the wooden lawn chairs, and drink to awesome views. Really, the scenery is amazing. As this brewery is next to Bluemont Winery you can make a fun day wine and beer tasting between the two. This place is definitely family friendly so expect a lot of parents with kids running around. Some were well behaved, while others show how bad their parenting is. Some food here too but we stuck with the tasty brews. Flight of Awe Dang IPA, Cherry Ale, Straw Golden Ale, and Wild Peach Cobbler Brown Ale. All pretty solid on a sunny warm afternoon. Can get pretty busy but if you claim a good spot don't give it up. Especially with those views.

Yelp
View is spectacular! Beer has always been good - served cold and in appropriate glasses. Have been there 20+ times over the years. I am writing this review specifically to address the food quality / price at this time. They used to have a high quality pizza, now it seems to be from frozen and it was not good - actually, it was bad. Paid $18 for a small pizza - the hot pepperoni honey - and it was greasy, even on the bottom, and had pale orange thin sauce under the cheese. I did mention it to one person who said they would "tell the kitchen". I did not ask that it be removed from the bill, and they did not offer or do so - even though we had an open tab. Saw another couple there that tried the beef sandwich. They said that their $18 selection was not good, dripping with grease and more like a pizza than a sandwich. Anyway - that confirmed for me that the food is not what it used to be there. This is still the most fabulous view, very good beer and nice bar staff - just don't plan to eat while there. I was so sad to see the downward slide in the food quality.
google avatar

Yelp
The only thing the owner has no control over is the view and it's beautiful. Unfortunately everything else that the owner does control is severely lacking including the food and the beer. Both taste like they are made from the cheapest ingredients, which is ironic since they are affiliated with the farm below. I've been here several times because I have friends in the area and the beer and food have never been good. I'm really surprised that they get high reviews. Must be for just the view.

Yelp
Stopped by after visiting Great Country Farm. Gorgeous views from this brewery atop a hill. Really nice patio area overlooking the valley. Patio has an assortment of tables with umbrellas, tables without and chairs, some in the grassy area too. Quite a bit of space to sit and drink and eat. Random music was playing from a speaker (at one point it was polka and at another point it was r&b). Ordered pork tacos and the purple drank, both of which were delicious. (I could do without the chunk of pineapple on the tacos, but it was easy enough to pick out.) I appreciated that there were coolers with water and cups, so you could hydrate free of charge. Restrooms are inside the building, as well as a place to purchase items. I would definitely return if I was in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely no doubt that its one of the finest brewery by the views and ambience! Beer is okay, food and snacks are 'trash' despite overly priced. They have a food truck that serves quency and salads. How lazy can one get to run a brewery? On top of that they do not allow outside food and snack. I forced my 2 other friends to come, but left after just one round (we usually go for 3 or 4). We are headed for Bear Chase or More Better, never coming back. I give you 2 stars just because I am generous today.

Yelp
I came with a group of friends for a bachelorette party a few weekends ago. We started at Bluemont and made the short drive to the brewery. The service was very fast and the beers and seltzers were all great. All the customers were so nice and congratulated the soon to be bride. All in all we had an amazing time and will be back soon!

Yelp
Dirt Farm Brewing was a hidden Gem in Louden Country. After a long, windy drive up the mountain, we made our way to the brewery and were welcomed with a breathtaking view of the adjoining vineyard. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space at Dirt Farm. You can't go wrong with either, and also a fair amount of shade to stay out of the sun if needed. It appeared as if some sort of wedding reception type party of engagement party was taking place in one of the bigger rooms. This is a great spot to hold an event like that. I only ordered one of the sours on tap, the peach sour, but it was fantastic. The service was excellent. Everyone on staff was friendly and accommodating. One of my friends ordered chicken tenders and they were a solid portion and looked delicious. Give this place a try if you're looking somewhere casual for great drinks and stellar views of Loudon.

Yelp
Hanging out at Dirt Farm Brewing was a wonderful experience with my family. I would highly recommend you get here at opening because the place gets packed. Everyone had on face masks unless they were sitting down and drinking or eating. Everyone was polite, standing 6 feet apart in line waiting to get beer. I got here one hour after opening and the place was packed! They have ton of great beers to choose from and amazing views and outdoor seating. If you cannot find a table, I recommend you bring a picnic blanket so you can comfortable sit in the grass. My personal favorite is the Pumpkin Ale (it's a Pumpkin/Yam type Beer). After harvest, they roast the neck pumpkins with brown sugar and add them to their amber ale base. My friends loved the Straw (it's a Golden Ale), this is very refreshing and easy to drink. I would recommend this if you aren't a huge fan of beer. Pants Off IPA (an Imperial/Double) is delicious, its 9% ABV - definitely earns its name, haha. FYSA. No outside food or beverages are allowed on their premises. But they do have a food truck, plates are around $15 - a bit expensive. The line is long and it does take a pretty long time, so be prepared to wait. The truck was definitely working very hard to get the orders out, there is just a TON of people. The Shrimp Tacos and Short Rib Rice Bowl were pretty good. I would highly recommend Dirt Farm Brewing!

Yelp
Great beer and views! If only the food and service could be a little better. Parking can get tricky also if you're not prepared.

Brittany Anne O.

Yelp
My friends and I stopped by the brewery on a Monday afternoon during the summer. The brewery was almost empty -- which was so refreshing, because we had the whole place to ourselves! *there were a few other small groups and families-- but everyone had ample space to spread out and enjoy the area. There was both indoor and outdoor seating available, including tables with and without umbrellas and chairs/seats for lounging. We ordered a few different beers, including the seasonal tart Cherry ale. The bartender was friendly and informative -- offering us samples to taste and answering our questions about the beers on tap. There was a food truck out front which offered a variety of options. We got a few things to share and everything was tasty and fresh. I was so pleased to see falafel and beer cheese on the menu-- YES. This is a great spot for beautiful outdoor views and an inviting and laid back ambiance. I imagine that in the fall it's PACKED with people, so plan accordingly!

Yelp
I really really can't say enough about how much I like this gem of a brewery. They have a good selection of beers from their "Straw" beer to several stouts. That range of beer right there is a good sign. I love the "boots off" IPA. I tried the toffee stout nitro in their sampler and it was ok but instantly forgettable. Very good selection of beers and if I could walk there, I would try each and every one. So maybe do a flight. The location and view is fantastic, looking down on the shenandoah valley on a sunny day with a beer and some friends is a pleasant luxury of life. They don't (technically) have a kitchen, but they do have a permanent food truck which actually provides reasonable fare. We got the wings which actually was 6 vs 12 as you might expect in any restaurant. They were very good. Nom nom. They are part of the Bluemont Winery, a few hundred yards walk or 5 minutes drive away. See my review for that place... Overall the food quality is above average for breweries in the area and the beer selection is good and the quality is above average. They have cans to go and a lovely view. Family friendly with tons of room and dog friendly. Check it out.

Yelp
We were here meeting friends on a lovely fall day and had heard amazing things about this place. We arrived late - around 3pm and they were turning cars away since they said it was at full capacity. Our friends had a table already so they let us in. They weren't kidding - I've not seen a place this crowded since pre Covid. Food (3/5): We ordered food from the food truck - everything was $12-$15 each. The line to order was long, as was the wait for food. So get ready. Atmosphere/Covid safety (1/5): There's no way to keep people 6 ft apart and few people were wearing masks while walking around (every other restaurant/winery/bar requires them when walking around in public, regardless of being outside or not). I have been to multiple places and the workers do a great job to keep everyone safe. This was NOT the case at this place. I was really disappointed in this place.

Yelp
Great service. Had a beer and appetizer with my hubby and enjoyed the view. The ambiance is laid back and cool.

Yelp
Yes I am the girl who doesn't drink beer that goes to brewery because the view is supposed to be amazing, and Yes, the view is Amazing ! Friendly staff who didn't look at me funny when I told them I don't like beer. Instead they offered me options. They also offer non-alcoholic options and have a food truck with 5-6 options. My beverage choice : Fluster Cluck!
google avatar

Katie A.

Yelp
Beautiful setting. Beer is good, especially the red ale. Food truck was here, and BF and I got a cheeseburger and the shrimp tacos. Very tasty!! But we were still hungry, so we got a flatbread from the brewery (the foot truck had closed). All food was good. Again, back to the setting. Beautiful. Chairs scattered out under the trees. Incredible view. Look it. I will say the road to the brewery from the main road is sketchy. Steep, one lane and if you need to use the shoulder because of another car, the shoulder is rutted. And did I mention it was steep?
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
The view -- need I say more? Beer & food are great. Staff is wonderful. Straw & BlackBerry ale are delicious!
google avatar

Walt O.

Yelp
Three stars because the last (bad) experience we had was not our only experience with Dirt Farm. We attended the Market event, which was far smaller than advertised and not anything to write home about. My wife ordered a red ale and I ordered some higher AC potion like Barleywine. Mine was okay a bit heavy, but the Red Ale was sour and a little off. This is a beer we had had and liked from previous visits, so we knew what we were ordering. Tried to bring it up with the lady in the tap room and her response was "oh well".. I feel like we wasted our money.

Yelp
Attended the 4th July event at Dirt Farm Brewery. It was ok. Was hoping for a more spectacular show. Tickets was ~$24 (with tax and fees). It only included pork roast which was really yummy. The sides was not too tasty. Came with beans (which I don't like personally) and some slow with cucumber. Disappointed that they charge for non-alcoholic drinks. Normally establishments include sodas, ice tea or lemonade. They even charged bottled water! Seems like a money grubber. I get it that they charge for alcohol. That's to be expected but water? Granted I later found coolers around the premises but not til I shelled out a few bucks for bottled water! Also didn't like the fact that they do not Allow you too bring your own water and non alcoholic drinks or food. The view of the fireworks were way too far away. This was my first time at the event so I didn't know that basically that was pretty much the show. Granted you get to see about 10-15 different fireworks simultaneously. There was about three small shows closer to us but it was ok. Not an impressive show. It's a great place to be if you don't like crowds and big booming noise. Perfect for Fido's and little kids.

Chris L.

Yelp
This is the first brewery or winery that I have visited where outside food is not allowed. It will be the last time I do that as the food choices at this establishment were overpriced for the quality and value. Additionally, our hummus plate was missing olives and, instead, we paid $13 for carrots, celery, red bell pepper and hummus. The other choices were 'eh', either too greasy, messy, or otherwise not appetizing. If eating quality (and accurate) menu items is important while drinking alcohol, go elsewhere. The view is very nice, the music was annoyingly loud, and the beer okay. If I were to visit, I would bring my own snacks and take my chances. I don't really understand establishments that do not allow outside food. Moreover, it's really confusing that a place would not allow outside food and offer a limited menu of overpriced bar food. How does that make any sense? I always assumed the profit margins are in the alcohol. I guess if you charge $13 for a plate of vegetables and hummus, there's plenty of profit in the food. But, I can guarantee that had we had other consumable food (like our own), we would have stayed longer and consumed more alcohol. Unfortunately, we were hungry for palatable food, so we left and will not ever return. Good luck.

Yelp
First time here after visiting Great Country Farms. We heard a lot about the Farm and took our kids to pick out a pumpkin. We also hears about the brewery and thought that would be a good stop for lunch afterwards. Located right down the road. Great spot with beautiful views, food & drinks! Definitely will be back again!

Yelp
Me and the family came to check out this brewery and we would 100% recommend. Food truck, lots of outdoor seating, sand box for the kids, snow cones, hot dogs for sale for kids, etc. Great family brewery! Great beer!
google avatar

Lisa J.

Yelp
Great views, yummy beers. Lots of wonderful seating options at this brewery. So glad they finally paved the winding road up the hill. They should have paved the parking lot as well, the rocks make walking from the car a little tricky for older or disabled customers.

Yelp
Tough to review this place - on one hand, the setting is absolutely incredible. The grounds are expansive, so there's plenty of room for families and large groups of friends to spread out and run around. The views of Virginia's rolling hills are unparalleled. The building itself, a rustic stone manor, is beautiful. Our group definitely had a good time, and I really appreciated that though the brewery is atop a hill, there was ample shade available. But the beers ranged from disappointing to alright, and some of them tasted like they'd been classified incorrectly. Out of the flight of four I got (at $12 for four tasters, Dirt Farm is one of the pricier options in the area), the pumpkin ale was my favorite - though the taste of pumpkin was merely a hint, the beer was well-rounded and enjoyable. The golden ale tasted strangely hoppy, almost closer to an IPA, the cherry ale would have benefited from tasting a bit more sour and less like fruit juice, and the milk stout, though it tasted fine as a beer, didn't have any sweetness that usually comes from the namesake lactose used in the fermentation process. I do know that their menu rotates regularly though, and a friend of mine really enjoyed what they had on tap a few months back, so I'd definitely come back to enjoy the views and give them a second chance.

Yelp
Dirt Farm is a great Fall social distancing activity. We went on a Friday afternoon and most of the tables were occupied, but we were able to move up to a front row shortly. Their fall food truck started yesterday and we tasted the entire menu... everything was yummy! FYI -- open a tab inside when you get a beer, then order food. It's all connected. Folks were in hiking gear and folks were in dresses and button downs. Come as you like, but it's a perfect photo op! They currently do not offer flights, but you can buy 4oz glasses. I tried a few beers this way. The reduced-gluten cherry brew was really smooth, but ultimately I landed on the red ale for the caramel and chocolate notes.

Yelp
Five Star view. Great Beers. Love the Honey Helles. Their lager's good too. So relaxing. Any day of the week. Great escape from the beltway

Yelp
Dirt Farms was open for outdoor seating in October. When we came to visit, they were pretty busy but we were able to find seating with an awesome view socially distanced from others. They had a pretty good beer selection (about 5-6 beers), however, they were sold out of all but 3 food items in their food truck. We ordered the pork poutine and shrimp tacos, which were pretty good! Plenty of parking, awesome views, and good food/beer. Would definitely like to come back with a few friends and spend the day here!
