Dirty Burger Bar

My wife ordered me a Cuban burger from this place. The food was decent, but the delivery delay affected its freshness. The burger was standard ham, beef patty, cheese, and special sauce, while the fries were perfectly seasoned. I’ll need to try it again for a fair evaluation.

Thursday evening burger, nothing special, the place wasn’t busy and the food was ready in 10-12 minutes. Its a smash burger style so if you like the thick nice burger like me, maybe look elsewhere. There is not a restroom inside and only a few seatings inside, the rest are outside. Overall a nice average burger place.

Tasty burger packed with a large patty! Plenty of flavor. Great outside seating! Lots of creative burger options on the menu. Beer on tap! My only suggestion is they need to serve ice tea.

Pretty good food. We had the cheese burger, kids burger meal, and Southwest wrap. Service was good and there's not much wait time. I love the atmosphere. It's a great place if you want to get some food and enjoy eating outside while watching the dogs play at the dog park. There are other small restaurants around that enhance the outdoor dining. There's limited seating inside.

This place is good. It's one of many cute restaurants within an outdoor setting. You can take your dogs to the lower level where big dogs and smaller dogs can play. The food is good at this spot and the service is good. We did notice that all of the tables were very dirty, though. Every single table we went to was dirty. It's a great spot with a good atmosphere. A live musician started playing as we were leaving. It would be a hundred percent better if someone could clean the tables. 👍

We didn’t know this place existed and only went because our other 2 options had crazy long waits. What a hidden gem this place turned out to be! The food was FANTASTIC! The burgers were big (half pound maybe?) the prices were very reasonable and service was quick. The fries are nice and crispy and their DB sauce is legit! I would say the only drawback was the limited seating inside. Lots of great outdoor seating options though. Did I mention how good the food was? We will definitely be back. Easy atmosphere for you and your pet companion. The burgers were juicy made to order and unique. We ordered turkey and beef. Nice under their little patio as it was raining while we waited. Left too full!!

Craving a burger with somewhere to hang outside and this place has hit the spot twice! Just as good if not better than Portillos and the sidewinder fries are a low key favorite of mine. Signature sauce is at par with the best and the $5 HH margarita can't be beat. A sincere plus to having the dog park connected for the puppers! We will keep on stopping by for a nice burger fix on a regular basis! Great job!

Oops! Posted on the wrong page. Not going to lie...the name of this place, within The Shacks just does not stick with me. Before it got too hot this summer, we came here with our newborn to get out of the house. It's a perfect little spot with outdoor seating and a dog park below. It is mostly self serve at a window. In the summer we had to avoid going here because I don't think they really seat people inside and it was just too hot. It will be interesting to see what they do in winter. We get the chili dog every time. LOVE IT. I would say they could do some work on the sides. The sweet potato fries have sugar on them I think. I don't know why so many restaurants feel they need to do this...I hate it. Their side salad is really sad so def skip that.

You order outside , dog friendly place outside and there is seating inside. The burgers are really good, flavorful and filling.

First of all - yum!!! I was craving a saucy, messy burger and this hit the spot! Reasonably priced - restaurant quality but a little less expensive. The service was great. I ordered online to pick up and it was ready right on time. It's mostly set up for outdoor setting but there's a little bit of space to dine indoors if the weather isn't great! The fries were my FAVORITE! I never see fries cut the way these were and they were so dang tasty.

cool park. Do not eat here. The food is gross. I don't think any cooking is going on. I had a microwaved patty that tasted like the freezer it came out of. I took a few bites and threw the rest away. I was really hungry too

This place is located in The Shacks, a dog friendly location. I've wanted to try this place out but trying to eat a burger anywhere near my two dogs isn't a good idea. So Grub Hub came to my rescue. The BLT comes on thick slices of Texas Toast. Get the extra bacon. It comes with plenty , just get the extra bacon anyway. Great BLT. Wings were unremarkable. The fries were interesting. Great shape for loaded cheese fries, I just ate them plain. Good food, great BLT!

So, this place is at a dog park, so be prepared to be violated by an unleashed dog sniffing your... The chili dogs were just okay. The dogs themselves were just warm & not grilled or fried. The chili kind of tasted like it came from a can. The buns - not great & kind of stale. I expect there's a restroom somewhere on the patio, but there's not one inside - not that there's room. Inside is really small. Ordering is done on the patio & there's not a lot of room. I did not see iced tea on their menu, but they do have it. We also got wings. They are fried naked (nice) with the sauce poured over rather than tossed. Overall, the experience was just "meh." Chili dog: 4/10 Wings: 7/10

I love their burgers they are so amazing and of course more eats...just go and order your meal sit and enjoy the rest of the day with music while watching the dogs at the dog park .

Vegans and Vegetarians rejoice because you do have a choice at Dirty Burger Bar! They have a delicious and huge vegan black bean burger. It's not a wide range of choices BUT the one choice they have is really good. I couldn't finish mine!

My family and I frequent the Shacks often with our four legged pup and Dirty Burger Bar is one of our favorite spots to eat at when we do visit. They have a wide variety of different kinds of burgers and sandwiches to fit every palate as well as alcoholic beverages. My ultimate favorite burger is the pulled pork burger which is their burger with pulled pork, bacon, homemade slaw, and cheese on top. So meaty and filling and always hits the spot! If I'm in the mood for a sandwich, the flaming bird is my go-to. This is their blackened chicken breast sandwich which comes with ghost pepper cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, and topped with their chipotle mayo. So good! If you're feeling thirsty, you definitely need to try their peach bellini, which is their frozen drink. Super refreshing and not super sugary and sweet! Definitely try this place next time you're at the Shacks. You won't be disappointed!

I ordered the Avocado Burger and sweet potato fries. The fries were very fresh and tasty, but the burger was nothing special. It lacked flavor and something about the bun detracted from the experience as well. This area has several options for food and lots of outside seating so it's fun to hang out and even bring Fido for the dog park. Not sure what happened. Walked in to order food and was completely ignored by the woman behind the counter. I could also see a kitchen staff worker looking at me from behind the door. They weren't busy from what I could see. I waited for a while and eventually just left. I've eaten here before and I do like the food but idk what that was.

Yummers. I was in the mood for some yummy chicken. I ordered it extra crispy. It was yummy. I gave it 4 stars because it wasn't seasoned only salted. My guy's burger looked delicious. Service was great. We'll return

Usually get the whiskey caramelized onions burger and it's usually solid. Sweet potato fries are pretty solid but not the best I've had. Kids enjoy the regular hot dog offering. We've gotten something else here but it was long ago enough that I don't remember - just keep coming back to the whiskey burger, which is deeeeelish. Not 100% consistent and not quite 5 stars good, but pretty dang consistent and pretty dang good. Easy 4 stars. Love The Shacks, love the dog park, love being able to get different restaurants' offerings for a crowd who's in the mood for different things, and we usually get at least one meal from Dirty Burger for the mix.

Excellent burgers. Will definitely be returning to this burger place again and again. Fun outdoor seating for when the weather is nice.

The food here is GREAT HOWEVER I normally order via Uber Eats which means I am paying MORE for my food but delivery drivers have not wanted to wait for my order when my order is passed up to tak walk ups first (I understand wanting to get customers in an out but now when I am paying more for my food) I would only recommend ordering food in person from this location.

Soggy burger bar is a more accurate name. The bun was extremely soggy and mushy as if it has been drenched in water and then put onto my burger. I couldn't even finish it.

So good! Great place to bring your dog and enjoy food and drinks outside. So many options of places to take your dog in the shopping center.

As of writing this review I haven't tasted any of the food but it looks great. The service on the other hand-- terrible. My server who was at the bar when we ordered was named Jessica. She was very rude and short. When she came to the seating area and gave us our food she dropped it on the table and walked away & rolled her eyes as I was saying thank you. I was completely confused with the customer service as I was very kind and polite to her. Should've just went to OMG lol.

Yelp has failed me! I had this place bookmarked so when a friend suggested it for lunch, I was anxious to try. You place order at the register just beyond the small dining area. I ordered a Dirty cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and my friend initially ordered a chili dog with fries. After waiting 5-10 minutes, the waitress informed my friend they were out of chili. My friend ordered wings instead. What was strange is the waitress didn't talk about the price difference and my friend failed to ask. My burger was extremely dry! It has been a long time since I've had a burger so bad. My friend didn't comment too much on their food but was sure to tell me we'll skip Dirty Burger next time. I was truly sad as this area seems like a happening spot. No idea why such a high rating on yelp. Definitely OMG Taco next door next time!

Amazing food. The burgers were so good and the fries were even better. I can't wait to go back once the weather gets cooler so we can sit outside.

Great day at dog park 1st visit but our pepper wanted to run and needs some socializing as she was a puppy rescue right before pandemic so has spent her first year at home with Tiki Husband. I guess this part of review should be moved to the park itself. But will say Dirty Burger was our choice to start our tab for liberations and then moved into lunch. For lunch Tiki Hubby had the chicken with bacon and egg sandwich and I tried the patty melt that with some load fries and lunch was served. Not one bad bite lot's of food we could have shared. Best part of meal was the added excitement of the table we sat in toppled over leaving bruised elbows. So watch the tables on the side on a slope.

Food was phenomenal. The hostess/waitress was great at her job. Surprisingly, when we first walked in, there was no one else waiting on food or in the line. That was awesome. I think that allowed them extra time to make the food awesome. I had the flaming bird, which was a grilled chicken sandwich with ciabatta bread and ghost pepper cheese. I also had the french fries or beaver fries. It was like a dinner fry but curled. My son had the double burger with cheese and fries as well. Everything was great and fresh. The chicken was well seasoned, and after my son had his first bite he was blown away with a flavor. I definitely will have to come back for the burger. Five stars all day!!

This place rocks! Are you looking for a cool outside area to eat and possibly bring your dog! Well this place is super cool with a fancy area for dogs to run around and play with other dogs too! The sitting area to dine is pretty tight! So get on in there and sit next to those that your like and love! You can order all kind of burgers here and they have a happy hour special on drinks too!! I had a really good Philly steak sandwich here which was finger licking good! You need a fork and knife to finish it! On the other side there is a pizza spot too! I really enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere here. A coworker and I wanted something new so we decided to try this place. We absolutely loved sitting outside and watching the dogs and children play. We ordered at the outdoor window and got a burger with fries and a quesadilla. My friend said the chicken and cheese were delicious. My burger was cooked perfectly and tasted so good. The fries were also pretty good. It's a decent amount of food for a good price. I even had leftovers and my toddler gobbled them up . I will definitely come here again and explore the burger menu.

Second time at this restaurant and I still drool and sing every time I take a bite. I don't usually get turkey burgers Because they r usually dry, but this one way so juicy that it dripped down my chin. Now for my favorite part: the fries...Omggg the fries, they have the perfect crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. The sauce u need to try the sauce that comes with the meals it's great. Definitely recommend!!!!!!

Pretty good burger and a generous portion of fries. My husband got the guacamole burger and he said it's really good, he said better than my burger. The French fries and sweet potato fries are really good.

This place never fails to be amazing with staff, food, and the atmosphere here is awesome. I really enjoy the food and people around here. It helps that there is a lot of lovely out door seating, an amazing dog park that lends lots to watch and enjoy while you eat. It's awesome and I bring quite a few people to enjoy a great burger and of course to enjoy the dogs at the dog park.

Absolutely best burgers in town! The Texas Cheddar is absolutely dank and the egg finishes perfectly. The fry ratio is on point and yummy fry sauce. Service is great as well. If you are going to eat your meat eat it Dirty.

Great service UH-mazing food. My favorite is the fried egg sandwhich but made as a wrap ! Also the Arnold Peach Palmer drink is delicious. Personally my favorite pick at The Shacks

This burger was AMAZZZIINNGGG!!! I ate every bite and wanted more! The fries are huge and well seasoned. I didn't care for the DBB sauce. I used chipotle mayo instead. It was a very weird set up and the restaurant is in an interesting place. They have a back patio that sits above a dog park and the dogs are allowed on the patio. (I didn't know this before going) I'm afraid of dogs however, everyone's dog seemed to be well trained so it did not bother me. When I placed my order there was a walk up window and they give you a buzzer so you'll know when your order is ready. The employees were extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The wait time was less than 15 minutes and my entire order was correct. Also, They serve drinks!! Overall I would definitely return for more!

So was on this side of town and wanted to get a quick lunch. While looking online this place popped up and decided to check it out because I love good burgers. This place is in The Shakes which is about 5 restaurants in a row that all share smaller indoor but a large outside eating area and dog park. Yes a dark park in the back. But this is about DBB so let's get back on track. As I stated the inside is pretty small for restaurant standard with about 6 tables are so (didn't get a good count) but don't let that stop you because there is tons of space outside on the patio. They have a great drink selection with weekly specials. The food is typical Americano. Burgers, wings, fries, etc. I got the DBB Burger with fries. It came with a special sauce on the side. It's like mayo, ketchup, horseradish, pepper, and some other stuff. It's okay but I'm not a fan of horseradish so probably wouldn't get it again. (Note: they also have other options you can get instead of ketchup for dipping that sounded pretty amazing. Just didn't get it not this trip.) The burger was cooked well to a well done. You didn't get to pick your burger temp so you get how they serve it but was still pretty enjoyable. Great fries as we'll. I forget the term for how they cut them (kind of like wedges but smaller and curly) but you can see it in the pics attached. However I highly recommend going there. The staff was amazing, food was great, and the outside area was amazing especially if you have dogs. So get Fluffy and hop in your car and check our DBB.

DBB is one of the restaurants at The Shacks (Austin Ranch Area). You can bring your dog to the dog park and tire them out and then go eat. The dog park isn't really lighted so if you go late just know it will be dark in the dog run. You can order through the window outside if you do bring your dog and eat on the deck or eat inside and order from the counter if you are petless. I ordered the burger special which was the DBB Patty Melt. I upgraded from American to Cheddar cheese. It has grilled onions and thousand island dressing. It was fantastic!! The loaded fries were fantastic as well. You really cant go wrong with anything that has bacon! The spiral fries are very good plain as well. The hot dog is a Super value for price. You can pick your toppings. There is a full bar to get your drink on! They are open until 2AM on the weekends. So bring you dog and enjoy eating outside. Worth a visit!!

Great place! My best friend and I shared the buffalo wings and potato wedge fries. We enjoyed our food - nothing really special stuck out at us except the fries were amazing. I'm not sure if it was the seasoning or what, but something about the fries just made us wow haha. The service was great and fast. Space is limited as it is a small shack, but this area has many restaurants next to each other and an opened area with outdoor seating and a dog park. Overall, we enjoyed our food and had a good time!

Just wanted a quick bite since I was in the area. Stumbled upon this cute joint fused in with a dog park/ seated outdoor backyard area. Love the set up of the seated area. We ordered the wings in original; buffalo sauce, and DBB burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was so good. Freshly made; like you could tell they make the food fresh with fresh oil. Definitely will be back when there is a band playing and take my dogs out to their backyard dog park. Food was good and fairly priced. It's worth it, nonetheless. Till then, let's eat!!!

This is my second time here and my first dining in. This is a very small space with 7 tables for 2 people each. I wouldn't recommend eating inside if you have a group, but there is a sitting area outside that can accommodate more than 2 people. You order at the counter and they have menus to look at. They give you a a little buzzer that lets you know when your food is ready. The wait time isn't too long, but every time I've come here there is only a few people. The soft drinks here are self serve. I decided to order the hot dang burger which caught my eye last time I was here. The Hot dang burger has ghost pepper cheese, jalapeños, bacon, lettuce and tomato on a brioche bun with a sauce and pickle on the side. It was a little spicy ,but I was expecting a little more kick. When thing that I did really like is that they didn't skimp on the jalapeños. Personally I am not a fan of the bun, it gets soggy too fast. Last time I thought it got soggy because I got it to go but this time I ate my burger as soon as I got it and it was still soggy. The patty was slightly pink and juicy ,but it lacked a little in flavor. The sweet potato fries where good. They were thin and crispy, but they had no seasoning. I recommend sticking the the regular fries (they're literally the best). I do really like the sauce they give you on the side. I think it pairs nicely with the burger and fries. Overall this place was good ,but not great. The staff is friendly and and I really like the outside patio area. This feels like a great place to come and catch up with friends especially with warmer weather approaching. While this wouldn't be my go to place when I'm craving a really good burger, I would come back if I am in the area or if a friend would suggest it.

Aw man! The Dirty Burger Bar is 100% on-point. I ordered the DBB Burger and my husband got the Buffalo Chicken Burger and they were amazing; large portions, well-cooked, just perfection in a bun. The fries and sweet potato fries were to drool for, and that says something since my husband isn't a fan of sweet potato fries and kept stealing some of mine. To top it off, the service was impeccable. The woman running this place was so nice and helpful. Another bonus: For a Tuesday evening dinner, the place wasn't busy at all so service was quick. Although this is a bit a ways from my home, if I'm ever in town, I'm definitely grabbing food here!

We were in the area and my husband wanted a good burger. I was starving by that point and had no energy to check yelp for reviews. When we arrived, I was like, "There is no way I am eating here with all that graffiti everywhere. Is this place even clean"? It's sounds terrible, but that was my first reaction. As I looked around, I realized that this is part of the theme of the restaurant. As I entered, I quickly found out that the restaurant was in fact ,very clean. We arrived right at 3:00 when happy hour began, but I didn't have a drink as I was trying to be responsible and do homework as soon as we left. We were there on a Tuesday and the special of the day was the cheeseburger which was 7.99. I added bacon which was $1 more. This included your choice of fries. I got the regular fries and my husband got the sweet potato fries. I loved the sweet potato fries! They were cooked perfectly and had the right amount of salt. I would definitely order those during my next visit. We also ordered the lemon pepper wings. They were nice, crispy and very flavorful. The burger was cooked to juicy perfection. I didn't think much of it when I ordered it, but it was everything my burger loving heart desired. The bun, the cheese, the bacon. If you want a good and affordable burger, give this place a try. I was told that the burgers are good, but I should try to chicken sandwich. I will make sure to order one as I am sure I will have a lot more visits here. I ordered Swiss cheese on my burger, it my husband said that the ghost pepper cheese was a winner. If you like spicy, you may want to give it a try. There is a dog park right outside, so if you want to have a have some good food and bring your furry companion out, this is the perfect spot to check out.

Nom nom nom! This place hit the spot on a cold dreary day. It seems small from the outside, but has a decent amount of indoor sitting. We went in a weekday for lunch and it wasn't that crowded. Now for the food. We ordered the chicken and avocado quesadilla and the fried chicken and egg sandwich with sweet potato fries. + The quesadilla is exactly what you'd expect with avocado and cheesy goodness. + Chicken and egg sandwich was so very yummy (and messy)! Really the flavor was spot on, and the only thing that would've made the chicken sandwich better was if the chicken was a bit less tough and a bit more juicy. = Sweet potato fries could have been more crispy rather than soft All in all, we'll definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu.

My partner and I visited on a Saturday afternoon. It did take awhile to get our order but it was a busy Saturday. I ordered a single patty cheeseburger with fries, and my partner order a double patty cheeseburger with fries. Fair warning, these burgers are HUGE. You definitely do not need two patties! The patty could have used more seasoning, but overall it was pretty good. The fries are not your usual fries. They are twisted medallion shaped and more potato filled. They are decent but I wish they had other options. They are a little pricey and I think you could get a better deal elsewhere when it comes to the flavor. However, the portions are huge which is always nice. The best part is the dog park they have in the back. It's nice to see all of the animals running around and enjoying the space. We may be back to try out thing wings, I've heard good things.

Great service, awesome staff and even better burgers! This place didn't disappoint. When you walk in, you are in a very small shack with a few tables inside. The ordering stand is in back and if you go outside to the back there is a covered seating area where you can order from outside. The staff here was amazing and made amazing recommendations. The person that help us was very attentive and made sure we enjoyed the experience. Considering this is along the outdoor dog park, she gave us the ins and outs on what people typically do and how the day passes work at the dog park. To me one of the best things,.... the loaded season fries. Make sure to get them if you go. I'd go back just to have the fries. I ordered the DBB cheeseburger which was really good too. If you are ever at the shacks, stop and give DBB a try. Its a great Saturday or Sunday afternoon spot to relax and walk your dog.

We tried this place on recommendations for a Facebook group promoting local restaurants. We were definitely not disappointed! The food and the service were awesome and the ambiance is great. The burgers were very delicious and cooked perfectly. The fries are very cool curls and were so good - a bit of crisp on the outside and then soft and fluffy inside. They were seasoned perfectly and not too salty. Were it not for the pandemic, we would definitely be hanging out on that outdoor patio (the patio was open - we are just personally only doing take out right now). If you have a dog, you can bring them on the patio and just down a set of steps is a cute dog park. We ordered online and then went to pick up the food. I had made a mistake on the order and the waitress who was working the bar/counter had noticed that something looked weird and actually asked me about it when I arrived. When I said that was a mistake on my part, she immediately told me it was no problem and had the kitchen fix the order for me. She could easily have just handed us the order and sent me on my way but she wanted to be sure we got what we wanted. We will definitely be back!

My friend & I went there for the first time last night, after a "meh" experience at BurgerFi the week prior. At Dirty Burger, you order & pay first at the register near the kitchen & they give you a buzzer when your food is ready. The wings could use a little work, but the burgers & fries are where it's at. I ordered mine with a double patty & it was so juicy & thick that you will need a good supply of napkins to get through all of it. Their special sauce makes the burgers taste sooooo yummy & unique. Totally plan to go there again in the future, and recommend giving this place a shot!

Volume 2 in places to eat while petting dogs... Dirty Burger Bar has a pretty choice selection of brews for such a tiny establishment. And despite the namesake, their wings were the true winners in the battle of empty stomachs. This little selection of food spots hosts music Thursday evenings in their patio space, worth coming late afternoon or early evening to set the mood.

What a cool little place!! There isn't much room for sitting inside but that's because there's a great patio! Anddddddd there is a DOG park there too!! What a great concept! And yes..!.. the food was pretty good too! Kind service, good burgers with huge fries, and a place to watch puppies play. Not sure what else you could ask for :) !!

Overall vibe at The Shacks is great. Burger, beer and open patio. Plus you get to see all the cute pups! The burger was yummy, fries are thick cut and unique shape. My boyfriend ordered the burger with pulled pork on top and loved it, it had some creamyness to it and was very flavorful. But service was slow, food was a bit cold by the time we got it. I think their buzzers were not working correctly because we never got notified our order was ready.
