"Unlike most of Soho House’s buttoned-up and exclusive restaurants, the Dirty Burger brand is a series of down-and-out tin-clad locales churning out ridiculously tasty and super-cheap cheeseburgers. (Vegeterians can order the "Cop Out," which is just as satisfyingly dirty.) It’s very purposefully a no-frills situation that’s totally worth the wait. There are more locations in Whitechapel, Kentish Town, and Shoreditch."

Wow. The burger here is delicious. Phenomenal. The cheese melts in your mouth. It's that good. Served with chips and a drink. Good price. Cool and friendly staff. Has nice interior design too. Highly recommend. ^_^

Nice place to stop if you exit the station and would like a quick filling bite to eat. Food is good and value for money. Stopped again on 19th July 2021. Ate in as it was a beautiful day but too hot to sit outside. As I sat by the window, I looked up and noticed the filthy ceiling caused by the extractor. This put me off my meal. I would stop again but will check to see cleaned, If not. I will not be eating here again.

Google
One big disappointment. £13 for plain burger and fries is well to much even for central London. Burger was just small, I would say tiny. Positives: it was cooked ok. Staff is super friendly. I could justify the price if this is an average size restaurant where you can sit properly and get a burger on the plate and not just wrapped in the bag.

Google
Great burgers with amazing sauces and nicely cooked meat. Fries were perfect, nice and crispy. Service was friendly and quick!

Google
Unfortunately they were busy and my order seemed to have got lost! BUT don't let that deter you the friendly staff quickly got it on the go once they realised there was a problem and the Dirty Bacon burger was magnificent, the ample quantity of sweet potato fries were also a joy.

This awesome little place is tucked away behind the station. The decor suit's it down to the ground and the smell from outside is of quality burgers. Step inside and you're not going to be disappointed. Kevin and staff are doing an amazing job cooking and serving amazing burgers. I thoroughly recommended the sweet potato fries. They also offer a gluten free bun option. The beef burgers taste of quality beef. The buttermilk coated chicken burger is divine. Can't make up your mind which one to have? Just ask Kevin for a Dirty Shand to satisfy your needs...

Google
I had a Dirty Bacon (i love bacon). The meat was a bit pink in the middle wich is good. Good mix of ingredients. The pickles were good. The burger was a bit too jucy because it was pouring on my trousers haha. They also serve beer. The chips were basic though. 3 to 4 stars

Google
Good quick bite to grab and go. Only two staff so there is a long lunch rush. Everything is freshly cooked and the potato chips are to die for. Chicken could use some seasoning however.

Yelp
What a ripoff! I was ordering a late night meal via UberEats and thought I'd try this. They were offering two burgers for the price of one. What a deal, huh? Usually, places have minimum orders, especially for delivery, but I didn't see one. I did want some spuds and a lemonade with it, but the sequence of screens didn't allow for changing the order. I'd have to start all over again. After getting frustrated with that, I decided to just go ahead and try finishing the order with ONLY the burger. I expected it to not let me. But it did. HOWEVER, once it was delivered, joke was on me. See pic. That's one of the smallest, plainest burgers I've ever had. Dollar bill is for size comparison. Note there's no lettuce, no onlons, no mayo. Just some melted cheese, a puny burger and plain buns. That's it. And no second burger, either. For $15 plus a driver tip!?!?!? I called them, but the guy on the phone kept giving me the runaround, telling me to call UberEats, even though I emphasized it was their offer, their sent 'order', and I was paying them. Of course, on the UberEats website there's no real way to even contact them. They had a brand new customer. One that was ready to like 'em and do more busines. Not now. Quite the opposite. RIPOFFS!!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
The food here is disgusting!!!! They completely messed up both orders and everything was cold. The food looks nothing in the pictures. The food is gross definitely don't recommend. If I can give 0 stars I would have selected that.

Yelp
I ordered a vegan burger with ketchup, mustard, and NO mayo. I got a regular MEAT burger with only mayo. They made a note on the receipt that said, and I swear I am not making this up, "out of vegan patty, sub'd meat" It was indeed meat. Crazy. My husband got a burger and tots and no tots showed up either. I'm actually not writing this review out of disappointment. I'm just so amazed at the choice of substitution I had to share!

Yelp
If you're in the mood for a greasy burger, Dirty Burgers is the place to go. The burgers here are some of the best I've ever had - they're cooked to perfection and are absolutely delicious. The seating here is also really good - there's plenty of space for everyone and it's very comfortable. Overall, I would highly recommend Dirty Burgers - the burgers are amazing and the seating is great.

Yelp
As the name suggests, this place isn't dirty. Sort of like how Michael Jackson says Bad when he really means good. Yeah... I wanted to write a colorful culinary review of this burger joint but I didn't want to put readers to sleep before I officially recommend Dirty Burger. If you are in London near Embankment or Vauxhall or Lambeth or at the MI6 headquarters, get your arse down to Dirty Burger and bite into the meaty cheesy greatness and enjoy the glorious french fries (frites) and the surprisingly savory donuts. DB is also hangover worthy as they stay open pretty late. As for the burgers, Dirty Burger encases the patties in exact proportion to the bun such that the bun is not violating the meat and toppings it's holding. I never appreciate things like that until I get a bun that dwarfs the meat. I don't know if they use local grass-fed cows, Angus, moose, Spanish Toros or whatever and I don't live in London so I really didn't care. But where ever the beef originated, god bless that place! Don't forget to top your burger! Onions are a must, cheese is a must and bacon is a must. You can't be calorie counting at DB. Attack those calories! Show 'em you ain't scared! The place is small but it serves the purpose. Decent background music and clean facility. Don't remember a toilet being there. Prices are great. A good meal for less than £9. Staff is efficient and courteous. 5***** no doubt!

Yelp
Fast service, convenient location and a great burger - I stopped in for a quick lunch here after a long walk and the burger here really hit the spot. Tasty, dressed just right, and full of flavour!

Yelp
I came here under the influence of some Yelp reviews which raved about the excellence of this particular Dirty Burger. I had an opportunity to visit for a late lunch and I capitalized. It is a simple place with a counter and not much seating. There are only three burgers on the menu, but there is no need for huge variety if you have mastered what you make. I got the Dirty Bacon. I wanted an Oreo milkshake, but they had only chocolate and strawberry available when I visited. The burger was ready in about five minutes. It came wrapped up, so I pressed it down a bit to get it down to mouth size before I ate it. It was nice and warm and I could see the juices ooze out a bit. I unwrapped the burger and it was indeed a beauty. The sauce was dripping out and making the bun soggy, but I was eating the burger quickly enough for this not to matter. They cooked the meat patty to medium which is just how I enjoy it. As for the bacon, it would be appropriate to call it a slab rather than a slice. What a nice surprise! But best of all was the grilled cheese. This made the burger for mine; much better than just including a slice of cheese. The burger was delicious with every mouthful as good as the last. I even found a bit of the grilled cheese in my wrapper after I finished, so I got to have one last extra taste of cheese. Happiness washed over me. The restaurant is literally around the corner from the Vauxhill station and there are signs to help you find it. It has late opening hours in the weekends, so it is convenient when you crave Dirty Burger after hours. Five stars all day long. I strongly encourage you to try it for yourself.

Yelp
Are you the type of person who has all the potential to become a religious extremist but you have trouble buying into any of the mainstream world religions? Why not try the Church of Dirty Burger? Once you have tasted a Dirty Burger you will be filled with a new found understanding that you are closer to heaven while eating one than while eating any other burger and you will become consumed with a propensity to tell everyone else you meet. You will probably find yourself going door to door in your local neighbourhood trying to educate non believers to the joys of Dirty Burger and attending major sporting events so you can hold up placards. People won't take you seriously and will wonder how you can be so fanatical and obsessive over a burger, but that's because they haven't seen the light and it is your duty to save them. On the other hand if you aren't the religious type, or you are happy with your existing religion you are probably still going to love Dirty Burger. The burgers almost certainly contain more calories than the sun but the indulgence is totally worth it, the onion fries are great too. You won't regret getting down and dirty.

Yelp
Cheap and on point. There's only one thing on the menu, a cheeseburger for 5.50. It was pretty good, pretty much on the same level as other hipster-and-other-wannabes burger joints though with different toppings. This had pickles that blended very well with the flavour. The meat was of similar quality and well seasoned. I passively accepted the generosity on the pepper as it created a bold but rounded aftertaste. I liked the fact this was cooked very well, I don't really like red burgers. It might be a trendy joint but there's a lot of chippy feel to it. The chips were superb. Again, chippy-style but well cooked and with a perfect crunch. The onion rings were just as good with interesting, fluffy batter that stuck to the onion, albeit getting a bit soggy after a while. I'll come to this place again and again and again.

Solz P.

Yelp
The burger at this joint are phenomenal! Would recommend stopping by and trying the burgers and other decent items on the menu including fries

Yelp
Dirty burger, more like s**t burger. Disgusting. Cold chips. Poor service. Is rather eat a turd.
google avatar

Yelp
This burger is amazing. There's not a fancy menu just fancy ingredients. I like that your options are limited. They give it to you straight: we sell a good burger, take it or leave it. The dirty bacon is delicious. It has a bit of vinegar and real British bacon. One of the best burgers in London. And believe me, I tried a lot.
google avatar

Andrea F.

Yelp
Don't get the veggie burger. What is with all of the servers looking like they want to kill you after being asked the simplest of questions? I was rushed to come forward, then rushed to order. Unfortunately the facilities, location and burgers themselves do not make up for the terrible service. At £5 for an oily slice of mushroom and some burn cheese and slimed arugula (rocket) in a bun to go, it's really not worth bothering.
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
Fancy an upmarket Burger King experience? Dirty Burger is a good option. Does what it says on the tin: sloppy, juicy, messy burgers. As someone else mentioned, perfect ratio of bun to beef. Onion fries are worth a go too. Be warned, your hair and clothing will reek of meat and fried oil afterwards. Also, if you are there longer than 15min your bum will be numb as the seats are slippery and not quite big enough. Still, an ideal choice for a speedy, deliciously greasy experience.

Yelp
To say that I love Dirty Burger would be a massive understatement. Greasy burgers, salty fries, and excellent milkshakes made to order... it's heaven in your mouth. My only fear is that I always stop by Dirty Burger when I'm famished, after playing an hour of five a side football. Is it possible my hunger for just about anything has skewed my view of how good Dirty Burger actually is? I hope not, but I rarely find myself in Vauxhall to figure it out. Don't go to Dirty Burger expecting a fancy establishment. I mean come on, it's all in the name. The burger you get won't actually be dirty, but it's not called "Fancy Burger" for a reason. You need to eat the burger as soon as you get it, otherwise it'll practically fall apart or get soggy. That's just the nature of the beast, not much you can do about it other than enjoy it! Don't go here on a date. Go with your best friend, your long-term partner that you don't have to impress, or just by yourself when you need something quick (and dirty!).

Yelp
Dirty Burger is yummy. We often stop here en route home after Friday night drinks. The location is quite tiny, with minimal seating (also, they do not have toilets - this is a good point to know). The food is tasty. Amazing and unique? Nope. Solidly good, fresh, and well-prepared? Absolutely. Classic short-order cooking at its best. The menu is small which allows Dirty Burger to be fast & consistent. The grill is right behind the counter so you can watch your order being prepared while you wait. The crinkle cut fries aren't my favorite variety, but they're ok. The onion rings are really delicious. If you haven't ever been in, I really recommend this place. Yum.

Yelp
I viewed the comments before reaching and ordered Dirty Bacon,Crinkle cut fries and Limonaya.Just so so for bacon, the fries was palatable and worth tasting.

Yelp
Great place for a quick greasy burger. They only have three burgers on the menu - the cheeseburger, bacon and veggie options. I had the bacon cheeseburger, which was dropping and juicy with a patty cooked just right and all the right stuff on top. I also got the fries, which were almost too much to handle after the burger. Service is very quick. Not a place you would go on a date, but if you want a quick bite near Vauxhall - head right in.
google avatar

Lawrence C.

Yelp
Great burger - so that's the main bit, if you are in the area and fancy a burger then hands down this is the place to go. The bad bits - the chips were a bit like crinkle cut oven chips - OK but nothing special. I would definitely order the onion fries next time - they looked sublime. The outside seating is supremely cramped, not really worth sitting there unless you have no choice. Luckily we got a table inside.
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
Go THERE! I'm just pissy as hell because they don't have gluten-free buns. The fries and the shake were great though and the staff was very friendly and just kind of perfect. The whole place has a nice vibe. ....but yeah do it, throw some rank gluten-free buns in the freezer, it is bloody 2014, message me and we'll get this star ranking up.

Yelp
I've been to this branch several times, as well as the Kentish Town one once, and while it certainly lives up to the 'dirty' part of the name, the burgers didn't blow me away. Onion fries, if a little expensive at £3.25, are what makes this place for me (pity it's not called "Dirty Onion Rings", in which case I'd probably give it 4*s). Breakfast is ok (my bacon burger was overpriced at £4, my friend's sausage burger was apparently worth the cost though), and coffee/tea on tap for £1 does add a little to the value. But I'd rather go to one of the little greasy spoons within 3 minute's walk, or Brunswick House. After 11am burgers are swiftly served up, ready to be scoffed down with fries (over-salted) and a freshly made shake, OJ or beer. One word review: sloppy.
google avatar

Rebecca W.

Yelp
It is both a blessing and a curse that Dirty Burger is on my way home. A blessing because it's one of the best burger joints in London, and it's a curse because I constantly want burgers! The burgers are cooked to order, with fresh ingredients and great quality meat. Last night I had the BBQ special, which was topped with pulled pork and was heavenly! The fries are so tasty, and I've also had the onion fries before, which a perfectly battered pieces of onion. If you're a milkshake connoisseur like me the strawberry milkshake should not be missed!
google avatar

Yelp
I didn't know that Dirty Burger had opened a branch in Vauxhall until we happened to be near it. In fact, we almost went to Nando's just because we needed to use the restroom, but opted to try the burgers instead. Cheap and delicious. I'm American, and while I appreciate a posh burger from time to time, these tasted like home. Juicy and with the pickles and the buns and just perfect happiness all over. If you're in the area, it's easy enough to stop in and pick up a burger and chips (which are also good). The previous reviewer said the burger was "well cooked," but I like mine a little more pink in the middle and it didn't disappoint. It's probably cooked medium, but it's still perfectly juicy and just so delicious. I'm really making myself hungry writing this review.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a favourite place to go after a work Friday night out for the following reasons: (a) it is on our way home (b) it is inexpensive + quick, and (c) because of the juicy, greasy cheeseburgers It makes no pretence of anything other than a quick stop for a burger after a night out (it is called Dirty Burger after all) but it beats every awful fried chicken, kebab, or fast food place hands down. I prefer the burgers in some other establishments (Five Guys comes to mind) and the fries are "ok", probably preventing a 5-star review, but I've never been anything other than immensely satisfied after wolfing down a Dirty cheeseburger at 5-past-late-o'clock. Good consistency of juicy beef, melted cheese, mayo and other toppings. It is a small establishment with some bar-style seating, given the fact it is under a railway arch at Vauxhall station, but it is never too busy for a seat when I've been in the (very) late evenings. There's a sort of "industrial, run-down metal shack" vibe going on, which actually I love, it is different from most places and fits in with its rail-based location. The menu is basic, don't come expecting a huge variety of exotic burger toppings - but they do serve bottles of beer if you're still in the drinking mood. You'll wait around 5 mins for them to cook the burger, but they cook it right in front of you, so you can't get much fresher! You'll probably eat it in less time than it took to make, but that may say less about the size of your meal and more about your hunger levels; amplified by the delicious smells of cooking beef circling around this little quick food stop.
google avatar

Goetz B.

Yelp
I was curious, when I found out that Dirty Burger opened their second branch earlier this year. Weeks or even months gone by until I finally managed to get down to their new Vauxhall shop. Located in a railway arch, they tried to keep up their burger shack theme. It is not quite as quirky and industrial as the original shop in Kentish Town, but I think the Vauxhall outpost is a pretty decent effort. As you'd expect when you have been to their first shop before, you are in for a decent burger. When you crave a burger and are in the area, make sure you check out Dirty Burger - it's one of my favourite burgers in London along with the crinkle cut chips.
google avatar

Nick V.

Yelp
I can't believe I live so close to one of the best burger places in London! I have to physically hold myself back from getting a Dirty Burger most nights as they are so nearby. Everything about Dirty Burger Vauxhall is great, from the price, to the taste. I especially love the fact that you can see the whole preparation process going on in front of you as you walk in. The entire kitchen is exposed and watching your order being cooked is a very satisfying thing. Eating it even more so. The burgers are full of flavour and wonderfully served in all their dirty oozy goodness! I would advise anyone in the area to grab a Dirty burger right away!
google avatar

Daf M.

Yelp
Very good burger and onion rings. Cons: one onion ring was so burnt, it was black and looked like it came from hell (there weren't that many onion rings so that wasn't cool). And we got no Ketchup for the fries, so when we got back to our hotel we were bummed about eating dry fries.
google avatar

Nicholas G.

Yelp
Simple menu with good American style diner burgers with that just right amount of grease fat. The kind that just drips down your chin that little bit. The burgers are delicious and I always have the cheese burger. Sometime I even double up on the meat if I am extra hungry. Service is brief but efficient but this isn't a place that you come and hang out for too long. You order, get your food, saddle up in a seat, eat and watch the passing vauxhall gyratory traffic go by and enjoy the food. I've had the cheese burger and its fresh to order so you will wait about five minutes. It's worth it. Also had the onion rings which are also fresh and not cooked from frozen. The batter is rich so if you are intent on finishing your burger, don't overdo the onion rings. Lastly I've had the crinkle cut fries. These are also good and are a novelty in a world of chips and straight fries. However they are also the reason for only a four star rating. The fries are good, tasty and a novelty but for the cost a bit steep. That is my only complaint. Two thumbs up otherwise for this place. Give it a go...and no, the burgers aren't dirty.
google avatar

Katherine F.

Yelp
Overall, great burger. The price was a bit steep, but when you are hungry for a burger, this certainly hits the spot. I just had the basic cheeseburger with the crinkle fries. I really liked that the meat was seasoned and the fries were pre salted. My only complaint is that the meat was a little too pink.
google avatar

Ewen M.

Yelp
Had big expectations for this place and was pretty disappointed to be honest. The onion fries were very nice I have to admit. The burger was nothing to write home about, bit on the dry side and no better than what you'd get served up in a Wetherspoons. It wasn't even what I'd particularly call a 'dirty burger' such as the luscious ones they do at MEAT Liquor... The venue is tiny as well. Good luck getting a seat at peak times.
google avatar

Nathan B.

Yelp
Great milkshake, really! Oreo milkshake is great. But in the end, it's roughly a 12 oz. milkshake for 5 pounds. too much. burgers are fine, fries are good. location is great. it's a deal for a quick meal, but nothing too special in the end for the price.
google avatar

Carmela S.

Yelp
Wowowowowowowow omg. One of the best burgers I've ever had!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing crinkly fries too. I thought the vanilla milkshake tasted horrible and mediciney but omg the burger and fries!!!! So friendly too.
google avatar

Leon B.

Yelp
I like this burger place. Fresh and tasty and a good stop on the way to Vauxhall City Farm with the kids.
google avatar

Jacqueline S.

Yelp
Our hotel was a short walk from Dirty Burger and we are so glad we found this place as it was open late. We stopped by nightly for a burger after drinking and walking around London.
google avatar

Hana V.

Yelp
Best burger I've had in London (aside from my boyfriend's homemade ones, of course)! So delicious! Good quality meat and an interesting, tasty assortment of ingredients on their special, cooked to perfection. I had one with guacamole and peppers that was heavenly. It's probably a good thing Vauxhall is nowhere near where I live/work or I'd be coming here every day. Certainly whenever I'm in the area I'll stop by!
google avatar

Alessandro M.

Yelp
I was hungry and had two burgers: dirty bacon and cheese burger. I'm happy with the bun, the bacon and the sauce. I think the beef is not that good though.
google avatar

Will M.

Yelp
Pretty boring burger, small, soggy bun, and fries were just greasy
google avatar

Lara S.

Yelp
How can they have the world's greasiest burgers, name the place Dirty Burger, and hand you one napkin? Do they roll the buns in corn oil? Why did I feel like it was used to mop up an auto mechanic shop floor? I just don't see the appeal. I guess in London, if you decorate in any other style than a 1940s pub vibe, and you massively overcharge for any food, you are automatically hip, trendy, and chic... it doesn't matter what the actual food tastes like.
google avatar

Julie D.

Yelp
I think 3 stars is generous especially when comparing Dirty Burger to some of the other burger places in London that are amazing like Patty and Bun, Meat Liquor etc. This burger was very average, nothing exciting and a soggy bun (inexcusable). The chips were pretty good and the onion fries just OK. To top it off there is no toilet which is bizarre. Overall just fine but I won't be back.
google avatar

Felix C.

Yelp
An enjoyable meal, but the burgers of average quality. The meat patty in the burgers are a little peppery and small. On the other hand, the crinkle cut fries. I am only giving 3 stars because there are many other very good burger restaurants in this town.
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
The perfect place to go for when you fancy a greasy, dirty burger. You know what to expect. The the bacon burger is amazing as its juicy, greasy, full of flavour and very filling. Pair it with a side of crinkle cut fries and you've got a great meal for just over £10.

Jennifer W.

Yelp
All the way from Arizona to London to have the BEST cheeseburger!!! The flavor is amazing. You can't walk by and smell their burgers cooking and not walk in. The owner really cares about giving you quality product and a cool experience. Thx for being our first meal in England. We will be back!

John B.

Yelp
This place came up on a Yelp search for gluten-free restaurants. The only thing I can find is a gluten-free ale.
google avatar

Holly R.

Yelp
We had to try Dirty Burger after there was much dispute between our friends as to where you can get the best burger. We have tried numerous places and this is high up there for the best burger out there! The Vauxhall branch is quite small but still serve a good burger. I went for the cheeseburger which was amazing - good amount of cheese and amazing squidgy bun. Amazing onion rings and chips to accompany the burger.
google avatar

Charlotte C.

Yelp
Great little burger shack. I recently had the delicious breakfast burger - sausage and egg on a lovely soft bun, served with a bottomless cup of tea or coffee. Relatively cheap place and conveniently located under the arches of Vauxhall tube station. Would recommend this option over the Nandos next door. I will definitely be going back again.
google avatar

I Q.

Yelp
Totally over priced and over rated, the burger although ok, was small and did not come with the bacon I had asked for, plus chips and a can of drink cost over £11.00, when I took my burger back they took the burger and instead of giving a freshly made one just added bacon and returned it wrapped up again, fairly pretentious and over priced, Steers in clapham junction or GBK far far better and better value
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
After work buddies from work had the monthly special absolutely awesome burger and fries

Michael S.

Yelp
Excellent burgers! Excellent breakfast too. Get the egg and sausage. Also do not skip out on the dirty donuts! This is a very small place, but well worth stopping into.

Martin S.

Yelp
Had the bacon and the vegan burgers. Sad affair. Buns were good but the meat was over fried and too salty. The mushroom in the vegan burger was OK but any sense of flavor was camouflaged by all the grease same for the bacon one. For 7£ you expect something more.
