Dirty Dog

We just moved here from out of state and were nervous trying to find a place to care for our 3 very large Pitt mixed dogs. The people here were very kind and understanding to what we were accustomed to and what our needs were. For the last 4 months or so we dont feel any anxiety about our nail trips and the quality and most important the kindness they have shown to our crew.

This place is great. I’ve been bringing my small dog here for nail trimming, nail buffing, hair, cleanup around the paws, and gland release for several years now since we moved to the area. They are always extremely accommodating when I call to ask for an appointment, and are super fast and efficient each and every time. I would highly suggest choosing this local, friendly small business over stores like Petco, etc. that charge significantly more with much less convenience. #supportlocal

We have been taking our boy Teddy to the Dirty Dog for years. He has a very heavy coat and they always do an amazing job with him. He is an anxious dog and now that he is a senior, 14+, he is even more so. Teddy is not an easy dog to groom but Gale is so very patient with him which we greatly appreciate. Thanks Dirty Dog!

I couldn't be more appreciative of finding the Dirty Dog! We just recently moved back from Florida, and I needed to find another groomer for my very anxious pup. On the day of my appointment, I had a major ordeal in getting my dog’s shot records faxed over before her appointment. Being eight months pregnant, I had to drive across the city to get printed records, and long story short, I felt so embarrassed I almost canceled my appointment because I was going to be very late. They were SO understanding and still took her and did an AMAZING job. My dog regularly gets cut every 4-5 weeks, and the first groomer I found here in Delaware did not cut her as low as I asked. Even when I sent her back in to get cut shorter, they still didn't cut her correctly. The Dirty Dog did a FABULOUS job! I am SO glad they are closer, clean facility and everyone was very friendly. Before I left, I scheduled my dog’s next three appointments.

They are friendly and patient with my dog coco who had never been to professional grooming, and I love coco's new haircut, makes him look much cleaner and smart. Coco even came home with a cute little scarf. Very happy with my experience. Thank you DIRTY DOG!

I was recommended to try here after our vet closed for the holidays early due to a COVID-19 issue with their staff and couldn't be happier. Our husky pup is not the easiest customer by any stretch of the imagination and they gave her the cleanest nail trim she's had in three years.

The staff is super friendly and they gave my dogs the best haircut they’ve ever had! My Morkie also had a little irritation around his eye and they had it cleaned up and looking good by the time I picked them up!! 5 stars all the way around! Highly recommend The Dirty Dog!!😍

Have been here a handful of times and this last time especially my big fur baby was so clean! She has a thick double coat that gets knotted and dirty so quickly. Very impressed with how well they were able to get her all cleaned up. Thanks dirty dog!
