Dishoom Permit Room Portobello

Perfect just as all the other Permit Rooms and Dishooms. Delicious food and wonderful service. Can't recommend the Black Dahl enough, it is just so hearty and creamy! We'll continue to come back?

Delicious breakfast, the loveliest staff (especially the chefs that were bringing dishes to our table) and great atmosphere. My favourite dish was porridge and fresh ginger tea. I could drink this every morning. I love that tea is a serious drink in this restaurant. This doesn't happen often. It's usually all about cocktails, wine or coffee in most London restaurants. If you are a tea lover like me, you will love Permit Room Portobello. This place is a great addition to Portobello Road, we are so happy to have you here :)

Delicious from start to finish. Considering it was the first day of opening, the line to get in was only 45 mins to an hour. They've brought the manager over from Kings Cross to ensure things run smoothly - which it did. It's more casual than the main restaurant but the food is still as exceptional, as is the service. A great addition to their arsenal.

Had a great time today here. Came with a rowdy table of 4 and felt like family. Food was great, particularly loved the broccoli salad and the pick me up chicken. Our waitress Helena was wonderful and so helpful. Will be back!

First time at Dishoom did not disappoint. The food was outstanding! Honestly can’t fault anything. The staff were so attentive and so patient. We were served by Tiffany and she was soo lovely! Thank you so much for the lovely food! Will definitely be visiting again soon! :)

Delicious meal! Blown away by the unique and refreshing Crispy Spinach Chaat and the savory Chicken Ruby. But what really made the meal was the lovely service with Pauline! She made us feel right at home. Great spot to refresh after enjoying the shops on Portobello.

Very average Indian Cuisine restaurant in my opinion. Extensive drink menu, most dishes are spicy. Nothing stood out from appetizers or entrees we had. Naan was crisp, that was the highlight of our meal. Overall, not memorable.

Great food. Great service. A little disappointing that dogs are allowed. It doesn’t seem like the kind of restaurant that would allow that. Leave the dogs for pubs. Everyone stopped talking and froze when we heard a dog bark whilst we were eating upstairs. I think Dishoom needs to rethink this. Other than this. A great experience.
