Ultimate Disney Store located in Times Square, New York! Transports you to the enchanting and magical world of Disney! The store is large and elegant. We visited during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. You'll love the wonderful atmosphere with all the gifts and toys displayed neatly on the shelves. Adults and kids alike were walking around choosing their favourite toys, shirts, and stuffies. There is a beautiful and magnificent castle inside the store, with a big chandelier! Truly a fun experience for all ages. **TIP - If you don't want the hassle of carrying Disney bags around NYC AND you live in the States, check out the Disney Store Online before making an in-store purchase. Sometimes you'll find better deals online.

The Disney Store in NYC is one of my favorite Disney store locations. I’ve been here several times over the years. The decor and attention to detail throughout the store is always amazing and a must-see for all Disney fans! I visited again last weekend and had an overall good experience. The staff at the entrance and throughout the store were friendly and smiling. However, my experience was lacking at the checkout counter and affected my experience overall. Alexis, at the upstairs checkout register, was unfriendly to the point of rude. Her customer service was very lacking unfortunately. As I walked to her register to checkout, I said “Hello” with no response. I asked, “How are you?” with no response. She continued the checkout process with no intention of providing any customer service or conversation. As a Disney fan, I consider the NYC Disney Store a must-see but customer service is definitely something to improve upon for customers.

An amazing Disney store. Similar to the stores at Disneyland or Disneyworld. The store has two huge floors. Unfortunately, the store is always overcrowded because they simply let too many people in.

So went two weeks ago on a Saturday and it was PACKED. Didn't help that an escator was broken and everyone had to take the one elevator to the 2nd floor. They handed out tickets and you had to wait for yours to be called for your group to take the elevator. That was a bit nuts, especially given this time of year. Other than that, you know what you're getting with the experience and the prices and all. My daughter loves it tho!

Oh to feel like a kid again! Maybe I’m too biased to leave a review here, but all these smallest details, all these characters, so many cute and nostalgic characters… I loved the store and bought many things here. One can spend hours and hours here, so much to see and so much to enjoy 💫 magic was definitely in the air

Terrible experience if going for limited items, waited on line for 4+ hours, managers allowed and assisted line cutters, and anyone behind them ended up with nothing. There was 0 compassion or empathy from a handful of the staff. Less than 170 that were on the actual line got the d23 set. I was 193rd on line and there was probably another 200+ behind me. What a terrible experience. Why even bother advertising with less than 200 stock. Every other place had much more. Could have said the first 200 will get one instead of making potentially 300+ people wait for hours and for nothing. Again such a bad experience to go through with Disney and leaves a bad taste in your mouth

The Disney Store in Times Square is pretty cool if you're a Disney fan. It's massive, but surprisingly the prices aren't much higher than what you'd find in any other Disney Store. They have a great selection of Loungefly bags and Minnie Mouse ears, and when I went there was a great amount of Halloween merch and Christmas ornaments. Be prepared, though, it's very crowded, and the lines while you're checking out can take a while. It's worth a walk through if you have the time.

This Disney store is HUGE! Considering we only have one small location left in LV. It's always nice stopping by this particular location when we're visiting the city. It's located right in Times Square. This store has 2 levels and is filled with everything your Disney heart desires. First level showcases Mickey to Disney Princesses to Star Wars and the second level has majority of the Pixar theme. The cast members we encountered were super friendly. Be prepared by the crowds because this store is always packed! If you are a Disney, Pixar or Star Wars fan, definitely worth checking out!

It's in Times Square so it's usually pretty busy but if you love or even like Disney it's worth the visit. There are two floors and they have check out counters on both floors. The first floor is lot smaller and they do some stuff that isn't upstairs so it's worth exploring both floors. Elevators or a escalator ride to the 2nd floor is easy. Much bigger selection upstairs and it's broken up into themed sections. They have a good Star Wars selection here. Plenty of staff to help you if you have any questions with anything.

Took a trip to nyc on my day off and ventured into the Disney store. It is two floors and has a great selection of merchandise. A lot of exclusive items that say Disney store nyc on them perfect for the tourist. It is New York so some things are a bit pricey but that is to be expected. The staff was friendly and greeted me upon entering. Very clean and organized

absolutely MAGICAL ! everything i was wanting & more. seeming that most disney stores have shut down, it was amazing to see one so huge, with many attractions, & two stories ! the cast members were so sweet & welcoming, & made the experience delightful. the place is huge, but very crowded with visitors. many knick knacks between statues & the rapunzel themed elevators - my favorite ! - & the many various art on the walls. they had plenty of items between anniversary items for characters, stuff animals, apparels, you name it ! they even carried rare loungefly bags you can only find in disney parks. my only complaint was how expensive everything was, but given it is disney, & that they were out of a lot of their new york tourist merch. besides that, if you're a disney fanatic, i highly recommend you stop by & envelop yourself into the magic !

What a cool store to have in NYC! I felt like I was back in the parks being immersed in Disney magic. From photo ops and plushies, to New York specific merch this store had a little bit of everything. Cast members were helpful in answering questions and the store was well organized and clean. Prices were standard Disney prices. I wish that they had a New York City Disney Pin (maybe of liberty minnie???) for purchase as I collect pins every time I go to the parks. One thing we loved was the escalator ride to the second floor. If you like Tangled, you will enjoy it too!

It's so amazing to watch the Disney store and reminisce on childhood memories. They have a great collection of toys snd swaggers from all the Disney movies from all times. Some of the characters I didn't recognize because they're Gen Z TV shows that I haven't watched lol. It's a perfect place to buy souvenirs from, but you definitely need to watch it cause you can easily get carried away and spend hundreds of dollars in the store.

The store is gorgeous, and huge! The staff are super helpful, and they helped me find super good deals in the store. I ended up buying a Nightmare Before Christmas sweatshirt, which was 30% off. I love the New York touches they implement throughout the store's design, and the NYC-specific merchandise is so adorable! I love that they cater to the young adult crowd as much as the little kids in what they're selling. Too many of their mall stores were catered to little kids only. Overall a totally magical experience. My sister and I felt like we'd been transported to Disneyland!

BOTH elevator and escalator out-of-service! Our last day in NY City and took the little one to see the Store and pick out Christmas gifts.. No timeline on getting it fixed. Wouldn't be a big deal if not our last day in the City. The Mouse needs to get his house in order!

Very small but a nice little vibe space just a lot smaller than I expected not as much diverse merch it's pretty much the same kind of merch repeated on the shelves as you walk through not like a Disney store in a park which is what I was expecting I'm sure the kids still love it tho my 16 month old was cranky so she wasn't rly having it

Not a fan of Times Square, we stopped by the Disney Store thanks to my seven-year-old daughter and she LOVED it. It's two floors of all thing Disney from dolls to stuffed animals to toys. Take the escalator to the second level to see lanterns along the way. To save money, take a photo of the items you want and buy them online.

If you are a Disney fan and you are in New York this is a must visit! The staff is as magical as the store. This store is in the middle of Time Square and is full of unique finds and decorated unlike any other. There is an upstairs to this store and you do not want to miss it. Do be aware, prices are a bit more expensive than other Disney stores but as a Disney fan the store is worth a visit.

Decent store. Crowded as expected given the time of the year. One thing is that the directions take you to the side street and not the actual location. The actual location is around the corner on the Main Street.

I love this two level Disney Store. It has super cute merchandise ranging from toys to clothing. They have unique Disney items that you would find here that you won't find at other Disney stores. It is a NYC themed Disney Store. So there are items like Minnie Mouse dressed like the Statue of Liberty etc. This Disney Store is located in Times Square so it is super busy anything. Definitely a place where there are lots of Tourists.

This the 2nd time I come by 8pm and the store is closed when it says you close at 9pm? This is ridiculous

If you're visiting New York, and you're a Disney fan, this store is a must. Regular Disney stores such as this one and outlet stores are all closing and becoming the thing of the past. It's fun to walk in the store and check out exclusive New York apparel and items. However, expect high tourist prices and Disney prices. The store has an upstairs and downstairs to explore around. Take note that this store can get busy as it's literally by all the action from Times Square. This store is a one time visit when in town as there are Disney outlet stores that will have lower prices for similar items.

I have to say this Disney store in the middle of Times Square is rather disappointing....nothing but a crowded tourist trap. The store is filled with just kids toys and plush. Not many items for adults....no kitchen items, pins, snacks/ sweets and souvenir items. There is no sale at this store....if you go online, you can find much better deal. Everything in this store is at retail price (meaning jacked up pricing anyways).

Disney is both a gift and a curse. It's a great time for the kids, at the same time grains the energy and money out of your bank account. As I am traveling to DisneyLand next month, I wanted to get some matching shirts for the family. The store is just a few blocks from my office, so I decided I'd quickly pop in; however, when I arrived, the line was down the block. After waiting quite awhile, an employee said it would be a few hours before they opened. WTH? Apparently, there was some mechanical issue inside, which took them over 30 minutes to let everyone know about. I returned a few hours later and it was sort of a waste of time because I ended up having to order online. The store itself is very neat, but always very crowded. It's sometimes difficult to find a cast member but when you do, they are very pleasant. This store is a hit or miss and I'd suggest ordering online!

This Disney store is super cute. My only challenge was the store was super packed! However, we really enjoyed walking around. On the first day of our trip we were able to go upstairs and look around. On the second day, we were not allowed upstairs that was a bumper. But over all the staff was super friendly and engaging.

PROS: Great quality Disney stuff with a large variety to choose from. Two floors are packed with nice things and even sets for kids to interact with. Prices are a bit high, but that's understandable for their location CONS: It's unorganized in their clothing department. You have adult shirts on the wall that don't tell you what gender they are and the shirts displayed in frames above them are mainly kids shirts that are on the island in the middle of the room. Also, the staff has a bitter attitude like they don't want to be there OVERALL: Great if you're a Disney fan and you don't care for shirts or employee personalities

Oh, how I have a love/hate thing going on with The Rat. Love Disney Wold and Disney Land. Love the movies. Love the Broadway musicals. Yet, when I see a Disney Store smack dab in the middle of Times Square I want to vomit a bit. I'm old school, and used to like coming here when it was a scene out of The Warriors. Now, Disney helped usher in the gentrification and commercialization of Times Square. Just like Broadway the store itself is full of bright colors, pricey Disney items, and things to buy dedicated to all their big movie characters. Feed The Rat! Clean and sanitized in the Disney way.

I love Disney and have always liked visiting the Disney Stores when possible. This is one of the few remaining stores outside of Disney World in Florida or Disneyland in California. As expected for being on Times Square, it was pretty busy but they are prepared to make people wait in line outside if it's too bad. The store has some fun theming - the escalator to the 2nd floor is Tangled themed. They have large fans throughout the store blowing on you which isn't great. The merchandise was neat and orderly. What disappointed me was the lack of a New York specific ornament or trading pin. As a collector of both I've always been able to find one of the two items when visiting Disney stores in tourist destinations. I asked an employee who was helpful but confirmed there were none for sale. There was some New York City specific merchandise - shirts, drinkware, and plushes mostly.

This is not a outlet be aware. This is just a regular didney store, u can buy items that are at the regular store besides the nyc disney merch.

Two levels of all things Disney! Plus in Times Square. Of course it is crowded but, they have a lot of items, especially those coveted bags. There was nothing 50th Anniversary. The store is pretty clean. The staff was very friendly. I sorta forgot I was in New York and transported to Disney. Pricing is on point with all other Disney stores

I came to this store last year while in town and it was awesome! I love Disney! This store is a Disney wonderland for Disney lovers everywhere. The place is jammed packed with a ton of dolls, princesses, figures of Disney characters, clothing, glassware, school bags, socks, pretty much everything you can think of with the Disney logo on it and with some sort of Disney character on it. I especially liked going up the escalator to the next level and seeing the Disney paintings displayed and walking through the Princess castle walkway, which was a replica of the Disney castle in Disney world. This is a must, for all Disney lovers! Definitely family friendly, bring the kids, but keep a close eye on them, when I went, it was packed with so many people, basically no room to walk around.

It was nice to bask in a bit of Disney magic here in Times Square. I had fun browsing items here, such as the Snow White Poison Apple mug (which I later looked online and was able to purchase for $10.), various Mulan mugs, and a beautiful Sword in the Stone journal. With the upcoming live-action Mulan, there was a huge display dedicated to Mulan in the Princess section of the store, which was wonderful to see. There's also New-York exclusive merch here on the lower floor, like plushies of Minnie dressed as the Statue of Liberty, shirts, and pins. Customer service here was fantastic as well! I struck up a converesation with one of the cast members, and he asked me, "What if I told you that you have the magic power to choose a song to play throughout the store?" I chose the song "Where Do I Go From Here?" from Pocahontas 2. We even geeked over obscure Disney music, like the time when I was at the Disney store in San Francisco over the holidays, and they played music from the Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas sequel, and even a cast member there was shocked that I could identify the music. It was lovely to pay a visit here in Times Square! Thanks for giving my final evening in New York some Disney magic!

One star bc 0 isn't allowed. Unbelievably rude staff. Especially Natasha. She should not be working at a "family friendly" place. Elevator was closed so I was told to bring my son up the escalator, was not informed no stroller on escalator. Was greeted by 5 rude staff members reprimanding me. Truly shocked by the way they spoke to me in front of my toddler. And as they walked away they were joking that "this is the happiest place on earth" like I was some drama causing criminal. I'm just a mom who absolutely didn't deserve this treatment. And as I was leaving I was told again no stroller like yes I get it!!! But also why doesn't your elevator work? That's such a burden for parents with young children. The escalator is very fast and I'm alone so I didn't know how I was going to carry my son, the large diaper bag and the stroller down this fast moving stairway. I was starting to feel anxious when finally a nice employee named Olive came to help. Thank you Olive, you really helped this mama manage! Otherwise a hateful experience, really put a bad taste in my mouth and unlikely to return. Natasha you are awful.

Disney in New York is a dream! Coming from Florida, it was nice to see the magic of Disney elsewhere in the country, especially in a place like New York City.

Pre-COVID Review; Summer 2019 Review: This is one of the most beautiful Disney stores that I've been to in my life that looks like a World of Disney at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Tangled Lanterns bathrooms with the Tangled Lanterns Escalators at this location. I came here on our first night with my family when we arrived in New York City and visited two more times before we had to leave the city. I was basically getting my dose of Disney magic as often as I could during this family vacation. The cast members always gave me great customer service even though I was wearing a Harry Potter jacket at the time because it easier to spot in a crowded Times Square than my grey Disney Parks holiday jacket. They would come up, ask if I needed help even Disney and Harry Potter nerded out with me when I was asking which products of the New York items to get. They even had a special that the time if you buy this limited edition Toy Story 4 pin, you get your photo on thr Jumbotron on Times Square and get to keep a copy of the photo too for 30 dollars. It was worth it! The cast members at the registers were nice, cool and fun to talk story a little too. Thank you to all the hard working cast members who make this store so magical and fun! I even nerded out at the register when checking out about Disney and Hawaii because the cast members are awesome, kind and so hard working. They had various huge sections in the store from New York items, kitchen, drinkwear and each by their own brand like Star Wars, Pixar and Marvel. The second floor had even more merchandise than the first floor but there was so much to look at and shop around for if you like Disney. I loved that they had a giant princess castle, some Star Wars items, Lighting McQueen from Cars and Mickey and Minnie Mouse right when you walked in. It had a little special touch of magic everywhere in this store. They also had a mini Farris wheel and those beautiful Tangled Lanterns Escalator as it was very fun and magical riding those Escalators multiple times. I hope that Disney continues to keep this store because so many Disney stores are closing. I would absolutely recommend visiting this Disney Store if you are in Times Square in New York City! Any Disney fan would enjoy their time here!

This Disney Store is one of the last ones left in NYC. This store is 2 floors and has exclusive NYC merchandise. Perfect spot for any Disney lover to shop!

I was in Manhattan just the other day. On a outing and it was very cold out side that day, so me and my coworker while out site seeing went inside the Disney store. This is a really nice store with 2 levels and so much Disney memorabilia and statues really cool for kids and adults. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Soon as you come in you are greeted very pleasant. They also have escalators to take you to the upper deck . Definitely a family oriented store .the kids will definitely love it ,from the frozen characters and toys ,to every Mickey mouse and mini mouse stuffed toys you can imagine. My favorite was the in the glass statue of the star wars stormtrooper .a classic starwars character from when I was a kid but they have him in a red uniform instead of white. Definitely a classic Disney character ,to me he has to be up there with Luke Skywalker. So if you are a fan of Disney, or a kid at heart or just some one who loves to sight see and take pictures this is a really cool place for you .this was my first time in this store. And I have to come back with my family on a outing. This is definitely a must visit, while visiting the city .it is definitely a main attraction on 42st

I don't think I've ever stayed away from a Disney Store in any city I've lived or any mall I've been shopping. There's a mesmerizing feeling just walking by. I have to go inside to see what's new and enjoy my old favorites. This store is in a a place frequently crowded with tourists. If you're visiting NYC I'm sure you will want to go inside. I'm afraid I don't have my photos. I'll have to take more when I'm able. They have clothes, stuffed animals, toys and more. If it's Disney they have it. This store is like a mini trip to Disneyland and Disney World. I can feel like a child again if only for a little while! I'll be back soon! Please be open!

My girlfriend and I are huge Disney fans so we knew we had to stop by here especially when we heard they had NYC exclusive items. I will definitely say we blacked out while we were in there because we spent about $500! We got all my nephews and nieces a NYC Minnie or Mickey Mouse. We got ourselves one too along with my mom! We also got the NY spirit jerseys. Honestly we got so much from there that it's a lot to list on here lol. The cast members were very awesome here and the prices were the same as other stores around the US! They had a cool set up with the giant Mickey Mouse and when you go up the escalators, it takes you into the world of Tangled! I'm so glad we were able to go here! I would definitely go back!

I went in today and was confronts with a rude employee who responded to me very unprofessionally as he told Me the second floor was not working which I already knew that but the way he told me felt very rude and mean. Whoever knows how to make an official report please advise ... this was today June 12, around 3:30 or so this afternoon

Where to start. Unlike Disney when I went over the summer I was actually able to find Winnie the pooh stuff which Disney did not have. This location is two stories and has it all. For all te little princesses and boys that love there star wars.

Surprised I forgot to give this a review after being there multiple times... Anyways, it's a two floored store full of adventure with lots of selection, some being exclusive to that store! Really love the people there and they're always kind and willing to help. It's also one of the only bathrooms available for free in Times Square, on the second floor...

With Disney Store I've learned to temper a certain expectation. It's not the same experience as shopping the parks, and with a different line up of products it's become synonymous with a mall staple. That being said, this NY location is among if not the best one out there. Probably the biggest in the US right now. Most stores don't have two floor set-ups. The second floor alone is probably bigger than most of the mall locations. The escalator scenery is incredibly, taking elements from Tangled and Peter Pan. Of course you have your own NY section, with little Tsum Tsums in I Love NY shirts and all the standard fare from water bottles, totes and shirts. Other than that the sections are what you'd expect. Marvel, Star Wars, Disney Parks and more among plushes, dolls, and action figures. On the floor, some of the cast members even showcased the new ufufy line a week early! Is it a substitute for the Disney parks? Absolutely not. But there's plenty of merch here that can bring your fill of Disney magic to the kids and to the home. There's no doubt in my mind why this store succeeds in the heart of Times Square.

A two level Disney store located in Times Square, and I actually bought something - some cute tees on clearance. I scored too since there was an additional 25% discount on their sale items that I wasn't aware of. I loved how they decorated the escalator ceiling with lanterns from Tangled.

Disney. Disney everywhere! This place was jammed packed in January during my birthday trip. I had a great time reliving my childhood while being surrounded by the Disney magic. If you want a Disney stuffed animal this is the place. They have every character you can imagine in all different sizes. They have unique Disney clothing, accessories, and toys. They even have items that you can only get at this Disney store location. Upon your arrival to the store you are greeted with a life size Mickey Mouse that mimics the Statue of Liberty. A great place to take a cool New York photo! The store is two floors and you certainly can get overwhelmed and lost in all of the Disney magic. The staff was great and willing to help with all questions. I recommend checking it out even if you're not a huge Disney fan. It'll bring out the kid in you.

This was my second time in this Disney Store in Times Square. I had gone a couple of years ago on a work trip and it's safe to say that it hasn't changed much. On this trip, I had ran the NYC Marathon and wanted to get goodies for my nieces and nephews. I distinctly remembered them having NYC Disney items, so that's what I went in here looking for. I walked around for some time, just taking it all in. It's two floors and has endless toys, costumes, clothes, decorations, you name it! Honestly, my favorite thing about this place is the public restroom they have hidden on the second floor. Very hard to come by in NYC so I made sure to use it twice while I was there looking around! As I was looking around, one of the associates congratulated me on finishing the marathon. I was impressed he could tell as I had a jacket on and my medal was barely showing around my neck. He was very kind and I appreciated his congratulatory message. :) I opted for PJs for my nephew, a Mickey NYC t-shirt for my other nephew, and Minnie Mouse NYC sweatshirts for my nieces. They all really enjoyed their gifts when I got back to Ohio! When I was purchasing, the line moved kind of slow, but they were very apologetic about it and thanked us for our patience. I wasn't in a rush. so I was okay with it! You can always expect great customer service from Disney cast members! Glad I went and would encourage everyone to check this store out. It is a great place to get items for kids back home!

Take your local Disney store, add a pixie dust of "I love NY" to it and voila-you end up with this store. It is spread out on two levels with an escalator to the 2nd floor. It carries basically the same merchandise if not more than my local Disney store but they add the NY motif to it which really jacks up the price. They also carry children's clothing with an emphasis on the Disney princesses. From NY themed stuffed animals and Tees to souvenir mugs with the famous ears attached you have the essentials of Disney. There is a section upstairs devoted to the Star Wars movies. What truly impressed me about this store the breathtaking "Beauty and the beast" painting I saw near the entry. It literally blew me away. Located in Times Square the store does get extremely crowded and it takes a while to check out with your merchandise. Keep in mind this is a tourist trap and is probably the next best thing to buying Disney merchandise outside of going to either Disney World in Florida or Disneyland in California. So if you want that one of a kind NY themed piece then this is the place for you. Be prepared to pay much more for it.

The bathroom is upstairs in the back corner! This is important information for changing child or adult diapers! This store is a treasure in the true Disney fashion. We mentioned to the staff that it was my grandsons first birthday and they made a big deal out of it. Be sure to visit!

It's never open. I live a few blocks away and every time I go it's not open for some weird reason. Waste of a Times Square storefront.

Everyone has a kid living inside of him/her! The little kid is always at the most happy status, when I visit this Disney store! All the good memories come back with fluffy winnie bear, the pretty little mermaid, Snow White, princess-monster etc.... It's always a fun place to check out! Even though It's crowded at times, the staff is extremely enthusiastic and willing to help.

Tourist trap if there ever was one. High price store in the middle of Times Square. What is nice is different choices of merchandise. If your a Disney fan this is your place to browse. The prices are up to your wallet.

We went on a Saturday night. Short line to enter about 5 min. They closed the upstairs during pandemic time. Ground floor was small. Difficult to social distance from others. Limited merchandise selection. We kinda had the feel of let's get out of here.
