The Best Restaurants Near New Orleans’s Superdome | Eater New Orleans

"Best known for its epic donuts and creative take on sliders, the newist District has its own agenda. An all-day menu ranges from maple glazed wings with pork sausage crumbles and morning Mexican pizza for breakfast to fish and chips, steak frites, a roasted half chicken with black beans, and glorious “big nachos” for lunch, pure game-day fuel. Did we mention frozen cocktails?" - Beth D’Addono

The Best Chinese Restaurants in and Around New Orleans

"Serving some of the most exciting new Chinese-American cuisine in town is Get Your Mom & Dim Sum from chef Andrew Lu, found in the most unlikely of places: the Holy Ground Irish Pub in Mid-City. Lu has fleshed out his menu for the bar kitchen, which is loved for dim sum like dan dan dumplings, shrimp cakes, and black pepper beef, and mashed potato dumplings, with large plates. The menu is available from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the bar,." - Beth D'Addono, Clair Lorell

Delicious Lunch with Great Vibes 😊 Visited District All Day Delicious for lunch, and everything from the food to the ambiance made it a wonderful experience...We started with a side of KFC (Korean Fried Cauliflower) ... perfectly crunchy cauliflower and potatoes tossed in a flavorful sweet chili sauce. It was a fun and tasty twist, and a great way to kick off the meal. For the main plate, we had the Egg White Migas .... a delightful and wholesome dish made with fluffy egg whites, soft corn tortillas, tangy rancheros, crumbled cotija cheese, and creamy avocado. The flavors were so well-balanced and satisfying , light yet packed with taste. Easily one of the best egg-based dishes we’ve had in a while. In drinks, we tried the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and the All Day Martini. The iced coffee was rich, smooth, and energizing....so good that I’m definitely going back for it again. The All Day Martini was another highlight which was a perfect mix of gin, Cocchi, vermouth, and a touch of orange blossom. Not only did it taste fantastic, but it was also served in a beautifully designed glass that made the whole experience feel even more special. The staff was welcoming, warm, and attentive....they added to the pleasant vibe of the place. Overall, District lived up to its name.... all-day delicious 😋. Highly recommended for anyone looking for fresh, thoughtful food and well-crafted drinks in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. 🔥 Hot Chicken Honey Butter Sandwich & Vietnamese Iced Coffee – A Winning Combo 😋 As I said before, I was definitely going to revisit this place and yes, I did.... This time, I went back not just for that unforgettable Vietnamese Iced Coffee, but also to try their Hot Chicken Honey Butter Sandwich… and whoa, what a combo 😋 Let’s start with the star of the show: Hot Chicken Honey Butter Sandwich .... Served on a French toast biscuit, the battered fried chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and slathered with a rich, sweet honey butter that adds just the right contrast. It's got sweetness, a kick of heat, and a buttery richness that makes every bite unforgettable. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had hands down. This place has officially become a favorite, and I’ll be back again whenever it happens to visit NOLA...no doubt in that. Delicious food, creative twists, and bold flavors done right... 😋

The food we ate pictured below was great. But seemed to not offer good portions for the price. A lot of reviews on here do not reflect what is actually on the menu. The menu is really small when you get to the restaurant. Clean place and staff were nice.

Google
So good, I came twice! Was there this past weekend and the breakfast was so good we came back the next day. The burrito, pancakes, hot chicken, all day fries, BBQ shrimp, THE GRITS! Don't even get me started on the frozen mimosa! I will be eating here every time I'm in town.

Completely enjoyed my food and service! The crawfish 🦞 Benedict was amazing and the lavender latte was absolutely delicious! Thank you for making my first day and meal in NOLA a wonderful experience!

Google
Always consistent and friendly service. I was craving their "C is for Cookie" triple stack pancake since the last time I was in here. Lattes/espresso is fantastic and flavorful. The Bloody Mary's are a must-try as well.

I enjoyed the proximity to downtown/hotel. Food was simple but yummy and came out fast. Friendly service. Priced fair as well. For a quick and easy breakfast I highly recommend.

Google
At first I thought the breakfast burrito was priced a little high, but then I tasted it...OMG! What a wonderful flavor and mix of ingredients. It made me happy and I couldn't wait for the next bite. My problem is that I also ordered one of their gourmet donuts. I'll admit, I like sweets and had no business ordering the raspberry cheesecake donut after eating my fill, but damn, that thing went down so quickly because it tasted so good. Add to that the tangerine juice and you could just roll me out of there. Malani, my server, was prompt and courteous but not overly talkative. I did bring my laptop, so she was likely being respectful. I couldn't ask for a better breakfast experience. Thank you District.

So give this to him fa me BOOOOOOOO 🍅 🍅 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅

Yelp
Nice service. Nice dishes. Little bit high prices but reasonable. Clean and bright interior. You have to try a cocktail "Not a Sazerac" and BBQ Shrimps, cheese burger, chicken sandwic

Yelp
The service is pretty good, it was a good breakfast. What ordered: I got the lemon cream, blueberry pancakes & a side of two eggs and turkey sausage. The food is normal breakfast you would expect. The pancakes would be the star of my breakfast, the lemon and blueberries made a nice mixture of flavors. I make my pancakes at home more airy, but I enjoyed these. You may need to ask for more syrup. The one small serving wasn't really enough for 2 large pancakes. But I figured a little less syrup would be good for me. I found the Turkey sausage a bit saltier than I expected. I just had seen pictures with blueberries on the outside of the pancakes on Yelp and didn't see them so my mistake I asked if they forgot the blueberries, my mistake the , blueberries are on the inside. I also ordered a brown butter old fashioned one of the specialty cocktails here. I really enjoyed the flavor of this cocktail. Give it a minute or two for some of the ice to melt, and it won't drink so fast. I did notice they don't have salt and pepper on the tables but they had it available. The chef probably wants us to taste the dish before doctoring it up, I feel that is a fair ask. I would recommend try District all day.

Yelp
This is a great spot to hit before making your way the to Dome for the game. Very nice looking and clean place. The host was friendly and smiled the entire time. We got seated very quickly after being told it was a 25min wait. It was more like a 3 min wait. The host brought us to the table. As we waited our server the host took our drink order and brought them out. This place is truly the definition of team Work. The server was also knowledgeable on the menu and recommended a couple of things on the menu. This is big to me bc it talks volumes about a place where their own employee works at. We ordered pancakes, burrito, and chicken sandwich. I forgot to take a picture of the burrito but it was freaking big and they didn't skip on the ingredients to make it. The pancakes were fluffy and cooked to perfection. The chicken sandwich was lightly batter, seasoned perfect, cooked extremely well to where it was still juicy, and it paired perfectly with the toppings on it. We will def be back and is at the top of my list for game day places.

Yelp
This location is cute! Coffee shop vibes when you walk in. Went for breakfast no wait to get sat. We started with the Brussels sprouts that were absolutely delicious! I got the veggie burger. Cool to hear that they make their own veggie patties and they were very flavorful. The burrito was a good size and the salsa it came with was good! The pancake was also delicious.

Yelp
It was great, on our list for next visit it was that good. Was absolutely amazed how quickly we were seated. Was expecting a wait. Warm welcome and super attentive service throughout. And we were not easy. Customized everything we ordered and they got it ALL perfect! Wow. The BLT left me speechless. It was huge though I did add extra bacon. The sourdough bread was best I have ever had. Then there was the bacon itself which was even better. Highly. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The lunch here is maybe hospital cafeteria quality? I ordered a caesar salad which is hard to mess up, but it was not great. When I went, the bartender wasn't there? So, there was no one to make the cocktails on the menu. My friend had fries, and I tried her fries. The fries were good. The staff is friendly. The lunch here is just not that good.

Yelp
It is wild that me and my wife was looking for brunch after church and we passed by District ALL DAY! I said let's walk in and boy was it a treat. We've been back a couple times now. The first time we went our server wasn't really friendly but all the other days they were great! Nice cozy restaurant sitting right on the corner of the street I love the looney Tunes symbol on the wall. The food is amazing! My favorites are the lemon Ricotta pancakes, Shrimp & Grits, and Hot Chicken Honey Butter Biscuit! The pancakes are some of my favorites in the city, you can taste just the right amount of lemon and they are so soft. Shrimp & Grits are real seasoned and spicy just like we like it in New Orleans. THE Chicken Biscuit is nothing less than perfection, it's firm but steal soft and the chicken is crunchy and flavorful!

Yelp
Earlier in the week we stopped into a different location of District & fell in love with their donuts. They had themed ones for the Taylor Swift concert! This made us excited to try this location for brunch before we headed out of town. We had our suitcases with us & they let us store them in the restaurant out of the way where they also said they could keep an eye on them (they mentioned it was super common too!) The coffee was delicious as were all of our meals. There was good flavor, proteins were well cooked & of course the donuts were delicious yet again. Overall, great food & great service!

Yelp
The District All Day Delicious in New Orleans is a must-visit! The food is outstanding, with the Benedict and Ancho potatoes cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The service is friendly and attentive, making for a great dining experience. Their classic Sazerac and Bitter Old Fashioned at just $7 are unbeatable--I've never seen prices like that in NOLA! I can't recommend this spot enough; I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch on a Friday with no reservations and it got busier as we got there. They've renovated since the last restaurant that was in the location and it's nice. I ordered a BLT with a side of brussel sprouts. The bacon was so thick and the sandwich was so tall I had to take it apart a bit to eat it. The brussel sprouts were really tasty! The food tasted great, it was just a bit hard to eat.

Yelp
Breakfast wings! With maple syrup and sausage crumbles. That's how you want to start your day. Came for a brunch, got seated fairly quickly which is surprising cause everywhere else was packed and this place is delicious. Also got the hot fried chicken biscuit which was served with butter and maple syrup but again, it's breakfast, and I absolutely want to put more butter on my biscuit. Seriously, great service, chill vibe, and yummy food.

Yelp
Wow we found another delicious breakfast spot, as the name suggests. Excellent food, excellent service. Very clean, modern place with good lighting, music, and a TV.. with a great vibe. They have boutique donuts and ice cream, all impressive. We enjoyed the Benedict with a side of smoked Gouda grits, which were delish. The lemon ricotta pancakes were delightfully light and served with REAL VERMONT MAPLE SYRUP! Bonus points!! The dirty chai latte was one of the best I've had, with good spice and strong espresso. Smooth foam, served nice and hot. Yum!!
google avatar

Yelp
Order the BLT and the large frozen mimosa then thank me later! 10 out of 10. Great spot for brunch. Aaron took such good care of us.

Yelp
This is fast becoming my go to place for breakfast in the city.....But they have Everything from breakfast sandwiches and pancakes to fish & chips and steak. I've been so many times that I'm on a first name basis with many of the staff. Located in the former Company Burger location for those who are familiar with the area. Parking can be found on the street. This chill restaurant is the cool relative to the famed District Donuts family. Full Bar (delicious adult breakfast bevies) and a full menu. There is literally something for everyone. I've been bringing and meeting friends for breakfast mostly. The food is delicious and staff is welcoming. They deliver up some of the most beautiful and scrumptious meals. With the ever popular donut case, this location also offers homemade ice creams with some interesting flavors. Soon to be a hit amongst sports fans this place is walkable to the Smoothie center and Super-dome. Save me a seat for breakfast though because I'll be back again and again.

Yelp
We visited on our way leaving out from NOLA. This was very cute spot with all the nice brunch dishes for a quick bite to eat as well as a full bar. I love how they have seating and a pick up area. We sat at the bar for quick service and our sever was very helpful. The cinnamon roll was able to be warmed up and was pretty good, I give it a 3.5/5 and the Sangria donut was good according to my friend. I would love to come back and try their actual food one day. They have Frozen Paloma's & Frozen Mimosas as well.

Yelp
I had breakfast at District All Day Delicious twice during my 1.5 weeks in NOLA, we just enjoyed our first meal that much. The first time, I had reservations for Sunday breakfast and we were seated right away. I had the BBQ Shrimp and Grits - U-12 gulf shrimp + creamy creole BBQ, smoked gouda grits, sunny side egg, sourdough toast. It was fantastic and a great breakfast. I think they had the best grits that I had during my time in NOLA. We also had two doughnuts to go, so we could snack on it later and they were big boys. Our second time, we just walked in and were able to get a seat at 8am on a Saturday morning. I had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, with a side of grits, of course. The pancakes were fluffy and so good. They are a big portion though, so I ended up taking them with me to work and having them for lunch. Service was very nice both times and food came out very quickly. A solid choice if you're looking for a quick and quiet meal outside of the FQ.

Will S.

Yelp
If you're a fan of District Donuts, then you must try this place. The quality of the food along with the excellent table service is hard to beat. Come as you are as this is a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy great food. And of course you can't forget to wash it all down with a Vietnamese iced coffee!

Yelp
Ok I must confess that this was not our intended breakfast stop. But we are so glad that willa jeans couldn't seat us because it gave us the chance to try this place. This is a home run. Anything, everything was perfect, not one thing could have been better. Our server was awesome, friendly, attentive.... I come from PDX which is a coffee mecca and this place did it. Ive been trying to get a good cappuccino at a dozen different shops in town that were highly recommended coffee shops. None were even close to as good as this. I ordered the Benedict and my wife the lemon something pancakes. Every aspect of these plates was as good as it gets. Crispy fried chicken on the biscuit, btw this is shareable as well as the pancakes, large portions. I could not be happier, except that i am leaving town today and found this on purpose last day here. If you actually care about food and have taste buds that can tell the difference then this is the spot. We tried all the other hotspots in town and truly this stands head and shoulders above the rest. The atmosphere is casual and vibrant contemporary. With lively music Do yourself a favor and try this out. I know I will make this a must on all my next visits..

Yelp
I had the best Salted Caramel Latte' with my breakfast here. Our server was a sweetheart with good recommendations and speedy service. The chicken biscuit was sooo good! I also recommend the Ancho potatoes.

Yelp
So good! We were recommended this restaurant by a friend. When our hotel Starbucks was super crowded, we decided to walk a few blocks down the street to try this place. We were quickly greeted and seated by smiling staff when we walked in. Our waitress was so sweet and made great menu suggestions. The restaurant itself was very clean. It had a nice atmosphere- to me it felt like a small town restaurant with good vibes. Both of us got iced salted caramel lattes. They had a perfect balance of sweetness and coffee taste. I got the blueberry buckwheat pancakes. As someone who does not eat breakfast often, I was pleasantly surprised about how good these pancakes were. We will definitely eat here again on our next visit. You won't regret dining at District All Day Delicious.

Yelp
We visited after a recommendation from a friend. This place did not disappoint! The atmosphere was like an old school diner. Our server was so nice, smiled, made suggestions and provided amazing service. Now the food...it was scrumptious! The chicken and eggs Benedict was my favorite breakfast from my entire trip. Cooked to perfection! My daughter loved her pancakes. Our iced lattes were so good! Will definitely visit again.

Yelp
Great food and friendly service. Clean and fresh environment. Definitely a recommend. My first experience
google avatar

Phoebe L.

Yelp
I came here for a quick breakfast before a conference, and I was in and out super quickly. I sat down at the bar, and the servers were so friendly! It wasn't very busy early in the morning, but I imagine that in the middle of the day with more people it'd be a more cozy and lively atmosphere. Their pancakes and sweets looked delicious, but I ended up going with something savory. I got the morning Mexican pizza, and it was great! Everything was perfectly seasoned, and I loved all of the different textures and flavors going on. I was a little disappointed that the portion was so small, and I wish I would have gone with one of the pancakes since they were the same price and much larger. It was still enough that I left satisfied, and I'd definitely go back with more people to be able to try more of the menu.
google avatar

William H.

Yelp
Felt like some breakfast food and found this place. Soon as u walk in it feels like a cafe with a bar. Laid back and kinda quiet type feel. We were greeted instantly and oh.....make a reservation to insure your seated. I heard they're busy all the time. You can walk in but I was warned there might not be seating. Chicken and Waffles were good. The Breakfast Wings were ok....nothing great. The Hashoroni is hashbrown filled with macaroni and wasn't good at all. I heard the BBQ Grits with Shrimp were good and they gave you big pieces of shrimp. Oh they give you crushed ice with your drinks.....if you know about crushed ice....then you know. All in all I liked the place and would come again.
google avatar

Angela B.

Yelp
Just go, you won't be disappointed. Stopped in the night before to get a cinnamon roll. Walked into the display case with nothing but deliciousness. Real donuts on display and they even removed those they were out of for the day. How do I know that? Cause we came back the following morning for breakfast. Service was great as well. The young lady who assisted us was there both times and patient with us for ordering. All in all we tried, Cinnamon roll, Fun Fetti donut, kolach - sausage, cookies and cream and cookie dough ice cream......Hot chicken sandwich, Miso bacon sandwich, burrito, match vanilla tea, salted Carmel latte, vanilla latte and cold brew. I love coffee but can't do iced/cold brew. Wanted to try some local coffee with Chicory and the cold brew is the only option here. Both of us fell in LOVE with that coffee. We shared a small the night before and each got larges the next morning. Everything was delicious.....telling ya. I'm sad we found this just one day before we left This place was bright and airy. Really enjoyed the music and vibe. Clean restrooms and all. Will be kept on short list.

Yelp
"Okay!" Fries Limp and soggy (See Pic). I don't know why this District location doesn't serve their excellent crispy waffle fries. The mushy version here is a disservice to what is arguably, the best counter serve burger in the city.
google avatar

Yelp
$4.96 for a small scoop of ice cream? I was in the office last week and decided to check out the restaurant that replaced the beloved Company Burger. I had already eaten lunch, so my intent was to survey the changes. The space was already nice and District took it up a notch. The ambiance is inviting! I noticed a big sign with different ice cream flavors. I'm always down for some homemade ice cream. Ice cream is a refreshing menu item. I ordered a scoop of the "C is for cookie" ice cream. It's made with different types of cookies, including the typical Oreo flavor. At $4.50 before tax, I was expecting a hand-packed scoop akin to Baskin-Robbins. To my surprise, the scoop was so small that it didn't fill the diameter of the cup. If you look at my photo, there is so much empty space between the ice cream and cup. I could get a pint of Ben & Jerry's for around that price. That said, it was delicious! Probably the best version of cookies n cream I've ever had. The customer service was also great. I'll return to try some vittles.

Yelp
We were desperate to get out of the house, and found ourselves close to District in the CBD. Great choice! We had some great drinks, and the brunch was actually really awesome. For food, we got: 1. Morning Mexican Pizza - just do this, seriously. So weird and yet amazing. 2. Brunch wings - YES. Wings with maple syrup, for breakfast!? Such a great idea! We loved these. 3. Smoked gouda grits - some of the best I have ever eaten. We grabbed some drinks, the District Wine Cooler and the Category 6. Both rocked. Will definitely swing by here again! Service was fast and friendly, the ambience was nice, and the food rocked.
google avatar

Yelp
The food here is amazing! I would rank it at the top of my all time favorite breakfasts. I ordered the spicy chicken and biscuit and found the chicken to be better than any restaurant famous for their spicy chicken. And the potatoes... they were so good we had to ask the owner how they were made. You wouldn't think you could make potatoes any better, but this chef through his special process has found a way!! My wife had the Monte Cristo, which was also phenomenal! Our guests had the "GM"Plate and Chicken and Pancake. They raved about each of theirs as well. We all found ourselves trying to eat every crumb off our plate. The wait staff and owner are extremely nice and the restaurant is spotless. I hope the next time we come back to New Orleans this relatively new restaurant is so popular we have to wait to get in. It is certainly deserving of tremendous success!! Go there if you have the opportunity.
google avatar

Paul H.

Yelp
After having a few tasty dishes around the city stopped here to grab a quick bite during lunch time. Didn't expect too much here as the fare seemed pretty standard. Ordered a blackened chicken sandwich and fries that came out rather quickly. The dining area overall was nice and spacious with bar like seating and small tables along one wall and booths and tables in between. Not bad burn or food or great either. I understand that the breakfast offerings are much better.

Yelp
Found this place by accident on the way to the Sugar Bowl today with my husband and family and it was enough to have all of us wanting more. From the friendliness of the staff to the speed of the service, they went above and beyond. We had dishes that they recommended and they were all delicious!! My husband had the chicken and pancake and he loved it. The shrimp and grits that I had were the best I've ever had in my life!! Flavorful with just the right amount of spice.....chef's kiss!!! WE WILL BE BACK

Yelp
We stopped by this gem while in NOLA and it was absolutely amazing. The food and drinks were delicious. The service was great. The staff was knowledgeable and so friendly. Definitely recommend!! Jess the bartender was amazing. She definitely had good recommendations. Will definitely be back when in the area again

Yelp
Located in the business district. Very cool looking place. Modern. Staff was very friendly. I ordered the white sauce chicken wings with Gouda grits and a cappuccino. Odd combination but I had to try them all. The wings were cooked to perfection. Nice and crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The sauce was very very delicious I don't know what was in it but it was delicious. The Gouda grits were also very tasty and creamy. And the cappuccino was perfectly made as well. Great experience and the ambiance was great as well.

Yelp
To start the food was good, thankfully. The service on the other hand was less than ideal. Maybe it was just a super case of the Mondays. I had submitted an online order for pick up and arrived at the time my receipt told me to. Upon arrival I stood at the front for 5 minutes as the waiters/employees walked right past me at the check in station. I finally went to the walk up order area and had to get the attention of the employee there. I purchased a doughnut, very tasty, and asked about my order. He said he would check on it, and I asked if I could sit at the bar while I waited which he said was ok. I sat at the bar for 10 minutes with no response, no ask if I wanted to order a drink, and no follow up on my food. I saw food start stacking up behind the counter and saw a bag with my name on it. I tried to get any of the employees attention to grab it for me and they all just walked right on by me. Finally I just went behind the employee station and grabbed my food from behind the counter. I walked up to one of them and asked if I could take my food to which the employee I was speaking to just shrugged his shoulders. There were some items missing from my order so I had to hunt down another employee to get those items to complete my order. Like I said , the food was good, the service not so much. The day before we had eaten right next door at Willie Jean before the Saints game, I would suggest that spot, they hit all the marks for food and service.

Yelp
District has upped it's game with a new restaurant. It's a little more upscale than the donut shops but the delicious Vietnamese Iced Coffee is still there. Have no fear. My friends had shrimp and grits and a steak sandwich. Both totally delicious. I picked the chicken and biscuit and it was so yummy. The potatoes were also the perfect level of crispness. Spot on. Tip: make a reservation. It fills up fast.

Yelp
Let's start with the eats: The food was tasted great. There were four of us, and everyone enjoyed their selections. Best of all was the BLT!! As for the least of all: The service. Server rarely came by, and when she did, she'd forgotten the bare necessities. Like mayo for one of our sandwiches. The one and only condiment asked for with the sandwich order! It took 3 tries to get it. Meanwhile, everyone else was eating. (This was after it took her quite a while to understand that I wanted the sandwich with the meat and mayo only!!). It also took a second person to get us water in the beginning and for refills. Of course we wanted cinnamon rolls, but by the time our Server got to us, they were sold out. So, recap: Food-Good. Service- Not good. You decide on your visit.

Yelp
District is the perfect brunch spot when you want something a bit different than traditional brunch. I ended up having the breakfast wings which is something I've never tried before. It's wings fried and served with a syrup glaze that was freaking delicious. It came with 8 good sized chicken wings that filled me up for the rest of the day. That glaze was everything.

Yelp
I've left a review a year ago; and came back today. The only the thing that changed about this place was the menu got better. 10/10 visit every day for breakfast or lunch if you can. Service is phenomenal and Russel took great care of us. Stop by and you will not regret it.

Yelp
I usually prefer grits with breakfast. At District the potatoes are why I keep returning. All good is here. Great food and friendly service!

Yelp
Food is but beyond that, the service is great. We love their sister store District Donuts but this menu has so many good items beyond that. Every staff member there is super kind and genuinely want you to have a good experience and enjoy the food. They even surprised us with a free buttermilk pancake to try made our day and taste buds very happy!!

Yelp
This place proves that amazing food doesn't have to be fancy. It's basically a gourmet diner without gourmet prices or pretension. Everything we ate and drank was simply scrumptious. We had a reservation for brunch before a Saints game and I'm very glad we had reservations--the place was buzzing with energy. We were seated by the open kitchen and we watched as everyone seemed remarkably calm for such a busy place. It also looked like everything was completed scratch made--no eggs from cartons, no processed stuff, nothing just honest ingredients. I started with a very smooth nitro cold brew AND a king cake daiquiri--I love how one played off the other. My companion wanted something warm and started a generous cup of cappuccino and to avoid being left out they had a mimosa. Next we had a Brûléed Cinnamon Roll. This was so good it was basically a religious experience--lush and soft and cinnamony with a flambéed topping providing a slight crunch. Dare I say that it was better than king cake? That's incredibly high praise. For our breakfast we had Lemon Buttermilk Ricotta Pancakes and a Hot Chicken & Honey Butter Biscuit. Both meals were quite generously portioned, and I realize this review sounds hyperbolic but they were sooooo delicious. The pancakes were soft and fluffy and lemony--just divine. The chicken was hot (but not scorching), sweet, and crisp and the biscuit that came with it was cooked up like French toast--crazy good. Literally every sip and bite we had could not have been better. And our service was terrific to boot. This place needs to be on everyone's list! We can't wait to return.

Yelp
I got a few items to try and was not disappointed. The service was great. The staff was super polite and they made my experience a good one. I tried the hot honey chicken biscuit, salted caramel latte and a cinnamon roll. Everything was delicious and the temperature was ideal. I recommend this location out of all the locations because they have a more expanded menu.

Yelp
The cleanliness of this spot attracted me! Honestly I haven't seen a restaurant in this area to where everything doesn't look cluttered with stuff. I was greeted right when I walked in and the guy on the register made sure to inform me of items that I would have preferred even though ig wasn't on the menu. The hit and honey biscuit isn't on the menu but he was kind 9f enough to let me know they can accommodate me and sell me that. No one has spoken of the Brussel Sprouts so I am very worried but in all this spot seems Good. There's a bar/ there's donuts.... there's lunch food like it does it a good JOB covering every basic part. The Brussel Sprouts are really tasty! Will be ordering more in the future.

Yelp
The breakfast sandwiches were surprisingly affordable considering how downtown this location is. The steak sandwich was so good! I added an egg. I'm definitely coming back.

Yelp
Working a few blocks away, I was super excited to have a District opening near-by but when I walked in during the first day of table service I was blown away. I've always been a fan of the kolaches and other items served at other Districts but did not expect the table service and new menu. The English is a fantastic go-to with house turkey sausage and an orange marmalade that just pops. Went back after the Saints Kickoff Run with a busy environment and the service and food was still some of the best in the CBD.

Yelp
It took a while to get a server but our server was sweet. The mimosa layout was cute and the BLT was 10/10. The sauce!? Amazing! Great portion. Only rating 4 because of the slower service.

Yelp
What a diamond in the rough! Took my and sons to New Orleans for Mother's Day weekend. I lived and traveled in several cities in the US. I've also been to this city several times. I'm telling you that you haven't had an awesome food and service until you've eaten here. I can't forget the freakin Lemon Ricotta Pancakes!!!! You can't leave without trying them! I took one bite and there was literally no chance to take a pic. The ambiance was really cool as well. Family five we finished everything. Did I mention the donuts and ice cream!

Yelp
We went here for brunch and had the buckwheat pancakes and the chicken and waffles. Bothe were felicitous. The chicken was seasoned well and perfectly fried and crispy without being oily. The buckwheat pancakes were very light and fluffy with fresh blueberries and maple syrup.

Yelp
Busy day at the restaurant. Only one waiter to cover 10+ tables while 4+ people running food. Forgot to place our order and the only offer is to lower the bill by 10%. Food is decent.
