A time was had!! We came on a Sunday for Southside Ken's "Bring it Back -- Let's Dance." He has this event once a month here. The DJ played all the throwback hits, but sometimes cut some songs too short before the best parts came on, lol. But nonetheless, drinks were flowing. People were dancing. Place was packed. The event was free. Would I return? Yes, I would!

Google
Pretty cool venue in Atlanta. We went for an EDM show and it was pretty packed. The signature lighting at District is what makes it great and enhances the vibe. The staff were very polite and helpful and we appreciated that. The other party-goers were also cool. It was very relaxed and easy to have fun here.

Google
Very posh atmosphere. It is extremely large on the inside. This place had 2 levels for guests to go between. I also like the way they have a lot of dressing areas that are sectioned off, mostly using them as VIP. There are also 2 really cool areas that are secluded in such an open space; they're right next to the DJ booth. The food was nothing grand, but the staff seemed very trained and professional. Also, the lights bulbs in the ceiling are pretty cool. The raise and retract. It's a unique feature for sure.

Google
Had a blast as we start the beginning of Taurus ♉️ Season friends from Cali came out and we had a ball at Rewind indoor and outdoor fun with classic hits from the 90’s to 2010 it doesn’t get no better than this. We had already ate so it was drinks and hookah for us and everyone had a great time. Best part was our Jenga game lasted for 30 minutes and then I took the wrong people’s advice and the tower came crashing down but I had fun best 3 day weekend for 2025 so far and my birthday 🎂 is next Tuesday April 29th it’s going up.

Google
Cool vibe if you like dance & house music. No issues. Dance floor is decent size

Google
The place to go if you love EDM!! Fun place with both an inside and outside DJ. We were invited by friend who had a VIP table close to all the action. Super fun. Arrived around 1030pm and place started filling up after 11-1130pm. Bartenders were great. Upstairs sitting / viewing area for a better view of the stage and DJ. Free street parking if you come early enough. One lot was $30 another was $20 for parking.

Google
Had a great time here. The DJ was great, and the bartenders were awesome. One of the bartenders, Makenna was so sweet, and found my sisters phone that she lost and brought it outside to us! We were so relived and so grateful for her. Definitely coming back here soon.

Google
Its ok, but I don't enjoy this venue much. The location is inconvenient. Its usually overcrowded with a crowd that has chaotic mismatched energy. The sound is fine. I find the LED light balls that dance around above the floor to be corny. The drinks are expensive. It has that outdated VIP/bottle service/velvet rope vibe that I don't like although they don't actually keep anyone out.
google avatar

Ada S.

Yelp
Fun place for a night out! I don't recommend this for anyone who is epileptic or prone to seizures. They did have an outside area if you need a break from the crowd. Buy tickets online before hand and have the QR code ready to be scanned. It also gets hot in there so dress accordingly. I had a lot fun! Bar has a good selection of alcohol too, but sometimes the wait was long.

Yelp
I went to see Audien's set. The lights were amazing and the venue was pretty comfortable. Drinks were a bit overpriced and they add the tip for you. Overall I would come back
google avatar

Amy R.

Yelp
Good sized club. They host great events and the tickets are reasonably priced. Check your tabs once you close them. They've added gratuity and are sneaky about not letting you know. I also really don't care for the people in the bathrooms that act like loan sharks if you don't tip them for squeezing hand soap onto your hands or if they hand you one paper towel. I try to avoid them and have a good time. They're bullies and make me feel uncomfortable with their harassment. I would always suggest you ride share there. People break into cars often if you park in non-valet areas.

Yelp
I enjoy coming to District. Been to many events here. They now have 10 lasers now, great visual effects including a HUGE and pixel dense Direct View LED. It's really a visually stunning space. Artist on tour really have a great intimate place to perform. Great dam floor. Like have the DJ right down there with you. Usually plenty of bars to get a drink. The big negative is the aggressive bathroom attendants that look like mafia agents and will yell at you "are you gonna wash you hands?!!" Fuck off. I hate the whole concept of bathroom attendants working for tips but it's kind of standard I guess. They also add 20% gratuity by default. I always leave 20% regardless but it always kind of bothers me.

Aaron J.

Yelp
It's crazy how the same place that will put you on guest list will also have security, screaming and cussing at you because you're sitting on a bench that they put in front of the bathroom to wait for your girlfriend as she's finishing in the bathroom. I work security and understand keeping certain areas from being overcrowded but I will never understand not allowing people to wait for someone outside of the bathroom, especially considering that they may be drunk or sick and need your help. on top of not allowing me to wait for my girlfriend. They expected me to stand in the overcrowded main floor, where there was hardly enough room to even enter because they oversold the show. Not only that, but they will scream and cuss you out the door. Once security guard with dreads and a beard was literally cussing and yelling at people at the top of his lungs, becoming visually frustrated and clearly lacking any self control. This venue has terrible security staff, this is not a safe venue, and this is not a venue that respects its patrons.

Natalie H.

Yelp
This place is so ass. Literally worst night club ever. Never come to this night club unless you want to meet the rudest bouncers ever who man handle you and all your friends for any reason they can. Please save yourself the time and go to any other club, there's so many in Atlanta and every one I've been to has been better than this. I've been three times and it's the same shit every time. Will not be back ever again.

CC C.

Yelp
"Security" checking id at the front was extremely unprofessional and rude. Insulted my friends and yelled at them.

Luna W.

Yelp
A miserable old lady bouncer took my personal property and told me I could get it back at the end of the night, I was told by multiple other employees I could get it back at the end of the night and when I went to do that the lady bouncer proceeded to tell me she would not give it back to me and none of the other bouncers or security would help at all. This woman was being a bitch to me and all my friends for no reason at all and she should be fired. Would have had a great time but she completely ruined my night and multiple of my friends.

Katie E.

Yelp
Security insulted me because I could not hear them. I have a hearing disability and am not able to hear well, and was informed I was "stupid" and "slow" because of this. I asked them to repeat what they said and was greeted with yelling and forcefulness and asked to leave. I have never had such an unpleasant experience, all because I cannot hear as well as others.

Yelp
Really cool spot! I just moved to Atlanta and I had a great time at the District. Overall, there was good music and nice people there. However, we were at the bar forever just waiting, there just aren't enough bartenders for the amount of people going out! However, the drink ended up being good so that was worth it! I'll definitely be back, just probably won't go back to the bar area
google avatar

Walker L.

Yelp
Definitely an experience. Parked on the street for about an hour and a half to go into the venue. $40 for two red bull vodkas that were a half shot each? The music was not good. At all. Then to find out my car was broken into along with 3 other people near my car. How do you have a cover charge for overpriced drinks, bad music, and no security? Get it together. Never coming back here.

Yelp
I have been planning my friend's birthday for a month. We confirmed the price of a table, again, a month ago. Then 4 days before the event, I receive a call saying they are going to more than DOUBLE the price of the table because they are receiving other offers for more money. A different promoter calls me and says they are not trying to be vultures, but this is just how they pay their rent and afford running their business. However, two minutes before, he LITERALLY just said he's having people who aren't going to flinch at the adjusted price. Meanwhile, we have had friends who have FLOWN in from different states to come to her birthday. So here I am, 3 days before, scrambling to figure out how to replan her birthday for a group of 20. The promoter then has the gull to tell me that if this was Las Vegas or Miami, this is just how it is. NEVER have I had a promoter go back on his word and raise their prices DAYs before the event. If District thinks this is how they run a business, they need to rethink their strategy. Taking words from his own mouth, they are literally money vultures, who are unwilling to honor a business agreement and will give service to the highest bidder rather than run an honest business. I am absolutely appalled by how they chose to conduct their "business."

Yelp
This is a pretty cool venue. The decor is pretty nice too. Everything seem to be new and or owner does a pretty good job at managing the property. Once you enter the building and walk up the ramp the women & men's bathroom are to your left. Per usual there's a bathroom attendant. The attendant in the ladies room is a cute lil Latina who very sociable and attentive. Whats different about this bathroom is that there's about 12 stalls so there's not a long line of woman waiting to use the restroom. The club has 2 levels, both of which have bottle sections that are reasonably priced (or at least they were the night I was there). The main bar is inside on the first floor, however there is a second indoor/outdoor bar on the patio where I ordered my Titos & sprite- which were pretty good btw. I've only been to this venue for Cassette. Cassette is a party hosted by Kenny Burns (Compound night club owner). This party pays homage to the 90's and feature artist from that era who come to perform at the club. The party has an old school R&B vibe. Cassette parties are probably held at this venue once a month, or every other month. You can checkout Eventbrite for listings of the next party.

Yelp
Have been several times! They always try to scam You. I have purchased several vips only to get ripped off by the servers twice and had to call my Cc to dispute additional charges that were added. The "vip" treatment was very sad and boring. The servers drop the bottles and Ice off and you see them again maybe once before they bring out your tab. The service is very poor! Paying $500 a bottle to not have any good service is not cool. The place is missing something it's always the same boring scene. They will have themes to fool folks that it's a big deal and when you show up it's just two dancers on the Dj booth. Gets old quick. District needs to step up their game And do something about your "vip" treatment and add something to your parties to liven things up. Vip service should also be just that.

Megan D.

Yelp
Love this place and serves drinks so fast. Good vibes and felt very clean. Highly recommend for a night out
google avatar

Andrew L.

Yelp
Liquified moved their concerts here from Opera. I like Liquified. I like their artists. I was pretty sure I'd like this new venue. To be fair, the venue itself is fine and floating lights are fun to watch. The crowd was not very diverse, but that's fine. This is Atlanta. What really ruined the experience though was the extremely rude and pushy downstairs men's bathroom attendant. I know, I know-every club has a pushy bathroom attendant to some extent. But as I opened my wallet to tip the man, he tried to reach in and grab all my cash himself. This is attempted theft.
google avatar

Leshonda K.

Yelp
Nice venue. I love the lighting. The restrooms are clean and the drinks were good. Great place to have an intimate concert. Perfect place to have a good time!
google avatar

Andrew D.

Yelp
I came here with a small group for Arty. It was fine, not high maintenance to get in, or excessive cover. It was a nice space, kind of reminded me of the Twilo/Spirit or District 36 spaces in NY. They could go for the private boxes upstairs in a meaningful way at some point kind of like Spirit or D36 had. Could be cool. As one other review noted, to get to the restroom from the back, main bar, or vice versa is a PAIN. I am aware that economics dictate high per sq ft sales from tables, but to lack a clear path back and forth, or a path at all, is rather absurd. I really liked the lights, flashing, coming down. When I see that I know it is not cheap. I still remember timed lights at great spots like Government in Toronto, and always find that sold lighting, throughly enhances any experience. overall, this good addition, and right off 85/400 for easy access. I'd be remiss if I offered any less than 4 stars.

Socially L.

Yelp
Lame ass club. Dj kept switching songs when the beat drop. The security saw my friend spit on the trashcan and got kicked out. Worst club ever!
google avatar

Alexander G.

Yelp
Please allow harnesses as shirts. This should be standard practice for night clubs in the 21st.

Dennis W.

Yelp
they always try to scam you. All the workers and security are rude and not many people come. Would not recommend at all...
google avatar

Alexis S.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time at the District dancing the night way! Had some slight snag with tickets when we entered the venue, but Manger Scott was nothing but professional (along with the rest of the front door staff) and accommodating and made the situation right. Amazing food truck outside the venue too for when the night was over! Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Cyndi J.

Yelp
Not sure why this place has so many negative reviews. Any club you go to is going to be busy and crowded. District is by far the nicest and cleanest I've been to. We didn't have a problem with parking, getting in or anyone there. I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Chuck P.

Yelp
I want to personally thank the management as well as Jody and David who became our personal bartenders for helping us show a special friend a great time. They all went above and beyond their duties to make sure we had a great time. This place was awesome. Bring your friends and have a great time. Thank you all.

Brendon R.

Yelp
Absolutely the best place for great music. Got a table and the costumer service was outstanding. Cat was the best!!! Will definitely be back

Yelp
A new spanking warehouse club in atlanta. Open only during the weekends. Advisable to buy tickets online or get on the guest list if you can to save a few $$. The have a cover for all events. District plays the best EDM music in atlanta. The crowd is awesome, the sound systems are mind blowing and the lighting is just trippy. The place is a little expensive for alcohol. So it's better to pregame and get here, and dance to some pulsating EDM music.
google avatar

Abby K.

Yelp
This is my favorite club in Atlanta! I have been to all the bars and clubs around here, and this one is the only one that I actually enjoy. There is a bartender (his name is Tony) who works at the outside bar, and he ALWAYS takes care of us. I always tell him to make me a good drink based on what I like, and he makes it to perfection. For real. The inside of the club is awesome too. They have these cool lights inside. Such a cool environment . If you're from Atlanta, definitely come here to try it out. If you're not from Atlanta, 100% come here. This is the best club in ATL!!
google avatar

Karen O.

Yelp
Once a month they have a Latin Party, named Candela. A female Security was trying to charge me, a female, alone, meeting other friends in VIP. A $50 charge. 30 minutes before closing time. Every other night is ether cheaper or free. So disappointed in how they have these "marketing people" up front trying to rip off people. What A BAD look!

Kimberly C.

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars I would but unfortunately that's not an option. I just want to start off by saying as a concerned citizens I'm highly appalled by the fact the security and the officers allow underage children into the nightclub and charge double to enter because they aren't 21. I just think that needs to be addressed.
google avatar

Joi M.

Yelp
Great venue! The club is two stories, there is valet parking on site. There is also street parking. The event I attended there were hundreds of people throughout the day. There is a lot of security and the venue has outdoor and indoor space .
google avatar

Mia C.

Yelp
By far one of my favorite venues. If you love music and also a dance environment this place is the place to be! The business is well managed, and the staff are super friendly. Parking can be a tad bit painful if you don't arrive early enough, but totally worth it.
google avatar

Serena H.

Yelp
If it's a good DJ, then this venue can be fun. But watch out for the hostesses up front. They discriminate and over charge at the door. I will not be coming back here. I doubt they can book anymore big name artists at this point anyway.

Crista B.

Yelp
Drinks are great. Love the music and lighting system. Went to see bonnyclyde and it was a great experience. However, my boyfriend and I were entirely overdressed trying to go by the guidelines per their website. It is not as strict as they let on. People in crop tops and fishnets. Love the atmosphere
google avatar

Aron F.

Yelp
Stellar place to go on a night out whether you are with friends or flying solo. The lights are incredible! Definitely by far my favorite night club in the city. Staff is always professional and drinks are not over priced. They have valet but also free parking available which is a huge plus. The sound is always on point and not overdone. I highly recommend purchasing tickets online via their website or event page prior to the show to save some time and money. Overall, 100% in my book.
google avatar

Matthew L.

Yelp
Place is EDM and House music all the way. A good amount of VIP section ducked off. Crazy crowd and DJ conmection. Good Vibes.
google avatar

Heather K.

Yelp
District Atlanta is my very favorite venue in Atlanta! The layout is cozy enough that no matter where you are, you have a great view of the stage. The VIP balcony is perfect if you don't necessarily want to be in the thick of the crowd on the dance floor. I was very impressed by the staff. The first night I was there was supposed to be Ashley Wallbridge opening up for Gareth Emery, but Ashley was down with a bad ear infection at the last minute, so Gareth played the entire evening (not complaining!!). Right before opening, a transformer nearby blew and knocked out the power. There was a line of people waiting to get in, and staff handled the crowd really well, especially Patrick. They had power restored surprisingly fast and the show went on without any more problems. Drinks were delicious and not expensive. The light show, with the moving colored balls was incredible. I can't say enough good things about District!

Jessica M.

Yelp
Pros: great sound system, awesome lights, and literally the most friendly staff I've ever encountered at a club. Cons: $4 tiny water bottles (11 oz), weirdly tall stage set up for EDM DJs, and the restroom was not maintained between the two shows they had last night.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
I've been to two concerts here. There were way too many people there because they oversell the tickets too much. It was borderline impossible to walk from one side of the crowed behind and to the other side just to get to the bathroom. I almost got in a fight with someone because they wouldn't get out of the tiny pathway. The room is extremely packed and about 150 degrees, and so many people have to stand outside to get out of the heat and because they don't have enough room. The one good thing I'll say about the venue is that the lights are cool. But that's not a great reason to go to this venue. Pissed that all the good concerts are being held here now instead of opera or other venues because I will for sure not waste my money here a third time.
google avatar

Bao T.

Yelp
I honestly never give bad reviews very often but this situation was a little ridiculous. First off I want to say this club is very nice. The moving ceiling and lasers are top-notch. But come on...I gave my wife my credit card to pay for drinks at the bar and then she turned around to talk to her friends while he made the drinks and made the transaction. I guess the bartender didn't know it was my card so while she turned around he took a picture of it front and back. He then proceeded to charge the card for the correct amount. Is this dude seriously stealing my card information right in front of me? Also just want to say he only did it with my card and not anyone else's. I locked my card immediately after seeing that to prevent any theft. That was super shady and management needs to do something about that. Just hope everyone stays safe out there and keep an eye out when you give the bartender your card here.

Amber R.

Yelp
i got kicked out. that's fine. it was my fault. apologies to the security dude outside i know he was just doing his job. i just can't stop talking to people. my fault. to the blonde bartender lady THANK YOU man. thank you. you real as hell. i appreciate your awareness and kindness. you saved me. i'll never see any of you again in my life but i appreciate y'all for showing me that i'm too old for that shit. i've never wanted to not be somewhere so bad. i belong in bed at 11:30. no lie. i'm hanging it up for life. god bless the youth. thanks for the vibes and and i'm sorry if i inconvenienced your staff in anyway. . shoutout to the fat head ass security guard director who smoothly walked my drunk ass off the back patio and dropped me off like a the toddler he never wanted. if i cared i'd be embarrassed but that was hilarious. bro didn't say a word. big as hell. aaron donald lookin ah. aight. bye. thanks for the times.

Susana G.

Yelp
Our group all bought tickets before the event "candela", when we got there (3hrs before they closed), they didn't let us in because they had reached "capacity limit". (Understandable) However, there was several people leaving the club, and they still didn't want to let us in. THERE WAS NO REFUND. Or any kind of compensation. We even had to pay $20 just to park, which wasn't refunded either. I drove an hour just to go to this event, paid ahead of time and didn't get in.
google avatar

Sam T.

Yelp
Checked them out the last few Saturdays to see DJs Dillon Francis & EU and had an absolute blast! Bartenders Cortney and Ming offered quick service behind the bar! Sound and lights were second to none. Can't wait to go again
google avatar

Allen C.

Yelp
Great new nightclub with top DJ's from around the world spinning! Looking foward to New Year's & Super Bowl events!

Tatyana K.

Yelp
Spent the New Year's Eve there. The club itself is fine, but definitely didn't take off as was expected. It wasn't too crowded, which is a plus, but music was terrible! The DJ wouldn't play any song for longer than 20 seconds....

Lindsey T.

Yelp
This club is huge and the ambiance is amazing. You'll get entranced by the lights for sure. I love the DJ line ups and everyone that works there was actually friendly toward us, which is not typical at many ATL clubs.

Nathan M.

Yelp
This venue is very well staffed and managed. I have seen many shows here and have never had anything but a great time. The bathrooms are always staffed and clean with no waiting. The many bars are easy to access and are always well stocked and staffed. If you like to dance than you will love the dance floor area. Large with great sound and access to be up front with your favorite artists. The lighting in the venue is amazing with a state of the art floating ball display. Something that has been recently added is Lasers. The Lasers are absolutely beautiful, must experience in person to appreciate. Videos never look as good as in person. Parking is free and easy on the street but there is valet service available as well. Great mix of artists that are booked and you will definitely get an up front and personal experience here. All around this venue is at the top of there game and obviously care a great deal about there patrons. You get this from every staff member up to top management. Great job District Atlanta! Thank you for so many unforgettable nights! You would get 5 stars if you had a wood dance floor.

Sam G.

Yelp
Where do I even start??? I had the WORST experience I have ever had & was treated extremely poorly. Mostly by management as the staff was friendly. To start with I purchased tickets to enter the venue earlier online- I still paid at the door- once I realized that I had an online confirmation I politely asked for a refund the "manager" on duty was however too busy to come & speak with me about my refund. After 10-15 minutes of waiting finally an assistant "manager" came & spoke with me about how they were unable to refund me my $25 door fee despite the fact that I already paid online. When I asked why- I could not get an answer. He did however offer me two little gift cards worth $10 each for drinks (again that's only $20 & I paid an additional $25) but you know what? I had friends in town & just decided to take the loss. After going inside to this near empty venue I stepped outside on the patio. I was sitting on a ledge & placed my head on my hands. Never did I lay down, never did my head hit a table, never did I slur my words, never did I throw up or do anything to allude to the fact that I was heavily intoxicated & unable to control myself. However, all of a sudden I am approached by the "manager" (who is maskless) promptly & rudely telling me that I had to leave. I asked why & she said because I was too intoxicated when my friends & I explained to her that I was not doing anything I knew to be wrong but just resting my head on my hands she told me to leave or I would be thrown out & that's when security got up and I began to get nervous. Especially as a Black American in this political climate. To be honest- it was dehumanizing that I could not even be given a warning or was worth their time to have a conversation. My friends contested, but at that point I wanted to leave. I also feel like it was due to the fact that I asked for a refund that I rightfully deserved in the beginning & they branded me as the "difficult black customer" to keep an eye on & use what ever reasoning they could conjure up to kick me out. It was hurtful to say the least. I guess I'll never know the real reason because never once was someone willing to have a CONVERSATION with me- a paying customer to your empty club. I also think it's ironic how when the club was practically empty she was "too busy" to come & talk to me, but had all the time in the world to kick me out in the most public & intentionally dehumanizing way. Shame on you, shame on this establishment & I will make sure that everyone I know who mentions your business hears this story. Also I saw people doing & selling illegal drugs inside your establishment who were not kicked out- but they probably don't even know that because they are too busy being anti-black to notice the REAL problems. Get a grip. Praying you shut down sooner than later.

Jessica B.

Yelp
I always have a great time!! Great music and great staff. Never had a bad experience. If you want to dance to some EDM this is the place to go.

Yelping P.

Yelp
Good venue for shows. Drinks are way overpriced. Stick to the pen here you'll save yourself some money.

Justin J.

Yelp
Place is unprofessional . I was able to get in with my fake ID and the white security had said a lot of racists slurs which is crazy because there are a lot Hispanics that go there. Bartenders took forever with my drink it was probably because I wasn't say perverted comments like rest of the guys. Anyways shitty experience for my first time. So if you're wondering if you can get in with your fake ID it's very possible and easy. I actually went with a group underage ppl. Oh and it's a waste of your $20 for the cover charge. Staff there are really miserable, the bartender was just being slow to everything working like she didn't even want to be there
