District Bagel has a menu spanning Jewish breakfast favourites, centering around bagels as the name suggests. The ordering kiosk is easy to use and offers customization options. The space has Jewish texts throughout the place. Not that it bothered me but was just irregular to see in what I expected to be a secular space. I went for the breakfast sandwich, which I had a mixed experience with. All of the ingredients were of great quality, but inappropriately thick cut for a sandwich. When I opened the paper, a third of the ingredients were already outside of the bagel so I knew I was in for a messy meal. There's no way you can get through this thing without it completely disassembling after a couple bites. The avocados were particularly large and to be honest totally unnecessary in this sandwich. The sandwich isn't cheap either, it's oddly priced about the same as the plates. I really think they should just remove the avocado because it's not really complimentary to the sandwich, makes it even messier and adds to the cost. As difficult to eat as it was, it was still really tasty. I liked the comfy upstairs dining room they had with an accessible sink which I very much needed.
