The Best Sandwich Shops in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"This downtown sandwich counter has coffee and sandwiches just right for grab-and-go. specialty sandwiches, like one with slow-roasted pork and pecorino, are assembled on bread fresh-baked at Monzú Italian Oven + Bar. Classic sandwiches are served sub-style with Italian deli slices and a house-made chicken salad. Add crispy salt and pepper potato chips for just $3." - Janna Karel

Adorable little coffee shop at the arts district on Main Street. Just minutes from the strip is a vibrant and fun area filled with shops, restaurants and coffee shops and this coffee shop is one of them. Stopped here first for some coffee and a bagel. The place is tiny, but it has a little room for seating inside and a lovely front patio seating. The staff were super friendly and sweet. The coffee robust and beautifully presented. Good bagel too. Definitely recommend!

I was downtown in the arts district of Las Vegas and I wanted to try a new spot so I decided on this cool little coffee shop. Upon walking in, there are a few seats where you can sit outside, but parking is absolutely horrific. It’s located on the corner of Main Street and Utah and traffic is definitely consistent. You’re definitely greeted as soon as you walk in, so I can’t complain about the service. As far as the coffee goes, I am a coffee drinker. I love my espresso and I was hoping to get that punch of espresso yet sadly, I was disappointed. Onto the breakfast sandwich, it was OK at best. In my opinion, the aïoli is delicious just overpowered the sandwich and I’m not sure arugula belongs on a breakfast sandwich unless you have something like candied bacon to balance it out. Hey just my personal opinion!

A Great hidden gem located in the Arts District . Very inviting and beautiful coffee shop. We had a great experience at this coffee shop. They offer a great variety of drinks and food. Our favorite are their lattes. They are so flavorful with smooth and creamy taste. You can taste the difference in a quality of the coffee. We have not tried their food , definitely next time, it looks so delicious. The place is super clean, modern style and welcoming. They have an outdoor patio and open indoor space , very airy atmosphere. We liked the ambiance and the service was great too. They are very attentive , friendly and quick. We have felt welcomed and appreciated. We are highly recommend it and definitely will be back!!!

Google
District Deli & Coffee is my favorite local coffee & breakfast stop in this city. We are so lucky to have them right here in the Arts District! Their sandwiches are made to perfection, and their English Muffin (sausage, egg, and cheese) breakfast sandwich is the best I’ve ever had, consistently. They’re outdoor seating is perfect place to relax and catch up with friends as you soak in the morning sun, and their indoor seating is quaint and inviting. It’s a place I bring all of my friends & loved ones who are both local & visiting, and they are blown away every time. Thank you for always making my coffee & food with so much love! 10/10 recommend District Deli & Coffee! 🩷

Went with a few friends. Staff was super friendly. Plenty of seating and a single-use bathroom for customers. Food was delicious; I had a mortadella sandwich, a chocolate croissant, and a limited-time peppermint frozen coffee. Everyone else really enjoyed their food and drink too. Would absolutely come back.

Google
The best breakfast I’ve ever had in Vegas. Stumbled upon this place after a workout. Steak, egg, and cheese bagel & Avocado toast were both beyond reproach. Coffee is smooth. Bagels are great, the bread used on the avocado toast is excellent. Great presentation of the dishes. Prices are reasonable considering the high quality of ingredients used.

Google
Im addicted to this place. I went 3 days in a row now. I did not expect the food to be this good; It's fresh home cooked food, and large portions. Usually, coffee shops have great coffee with plain, microwavable food.. Also, the pastries are chewy and doey, like grandma's cookies. Unreal...

Google
Hands down one of my favorite coffee shops in the Arts District. I love how they make their flavored lattes. Their sandwiches are on point to, especially the roast beef sandwich. Friendly staff in an ideal location make this my go to Coffee stop.

Yelp
Another great spot in the downtown area! Stumbled upon this place in the summer as they were building their patio - the inside area is pretty tiny with a couple of tables, so the patio really expands their seating. Menu is surprisingly large and the sandwiches are the highlight! They're huge and generous with the protein - staff suggested the roast beef, and it was perfect. The farro salad side was a great and different option to offer, super fresh. I will be back to try more sandwiches, also their mushroom toast (another unique option!) and coffee. The here bread is from Monzu, another great spot in town - love the local sourcing. This place is open surprisingly late (8AM to 8PM) with great quality food for a fast casual spot, pricing was fair for the portions. Go early for fresh pastries!

Yelp
Tucked away in the heart of Downtown Vegas. District Deli is a delightful escape from the usual dining experience. From the moment you step inside, the airy, open feel of the space catches your attention. The white walls, sleek and modern, create a minimalist yet inviting ambiance that makes you feel at ease the moment you enter. Natural light floods the space, adding to the open feel and making it a perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or coffee break. Staff is always ready to serve! The menu is just as impressive as the aesthetics. Their sandwich selection is top-notch, with a variety of fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for a classic turkey and avocado sandwich or something more adventurous like their signature roasted veggie and goat cheese option, every bite is packed with flavor. Each sandwich is thoughtfully crafted, with the perfect balance of textures and tastes. And then there's the coffee. District takes their coffee seriously. Whether you prefer a strong espresso or a smooth latte, they have you covered. The coffee is rich and aromatic, with just the right amount of kick to get you through your day. With its beautiful, modern design, delicious sandwiches, and excellent coffee, District has quickly become a favorite of mine. It's the perfect spot for a casual meal, a coffee date, or just some quiet time to enjoy a great cup of coffee in a beautifully designed space. Highly recommended!

Yelp
The District Deli & Coffee is a really good sandwich and coffee shop located in the downtown area. Besides sandwiches some of the things they offer are breakfast, salads, sides, pastries, smoothies, teas and more. This is a casual order and pay at the counter type of place. They have three small tables inside and a few tables on the patio. It's nice that they have complimentary water on the side of the counter that you can help yourself to. The sandwiches are very good here. I would recommend to go with a sandwich. My husband tried a mortadella specialty sandwich with house made chips. This was a very large sandwich on Monzu Italian Oven Focaccia bread. It was packed with good quality Deli Meat and cheese and also had a delicious spread of eggplant caponata. I thought that the house made potato chips were very good. To me they had a nice texture and were seasoned nice and seemed free of oil. The panzanella salad should really be a soaked bread salad. Here it is a salad with the crispest croutons ever that don't get soft and a fork can't penetrate. The salad is ok it's just not what a traditional panzanella is really suppose to be. I'll get a sandwich next time. The people working there were all very nice and efficient. District Deli and Coffee is a really great Sandwich shop in the downtown area.

Yelp
So excited to have a new lunch spot on Main Street! My coworker sent me a link for a pickup order and said it was a deli & coffee shop down the street and as soon as I looked at the menu I was intrigued.. The menu reads well and has very enticing descriptions and photos that make your mouth water.. My only regret is that my appetite wasn't large enough to order everything that I wanted to try on the menu! Gives me plenty more reasons to order in the future. :) I went with the Roast Beef sandwich since anything with horseradish has my heart. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! The horseradish had a kick without being overpowering.. the roast beef was super fresh, not chewy or dry like some places. Loved the shredded lettuce crunch.. definitely a bit messy, but isn't that the best kind of sandwich? Such great components that made this a 10/10 sammy, but the ciabatta really sealed the deal, I must say! It was light and thin... perfectly crispy and crunchy when you bite into it, but still fluffy in the middle.. Tasted fresh as hell, like it just came out of the oven! I'm excited to try other sandwiches to see how the different bread options compare. I will definitely order this sandwich again, but super excited to try everything else. I can't give an opinion on the atmosphere as I was not the one who picked it up, but I'm eager to stop by in person next time and try the coffee too that I hear people raving about. Very stoked to have this spot as a downtown neighbor, I'm sure they'll know me on a first name basis before long!

Yelp
Tucked away in the bustling heart of Vegas, this hidden gem offers a rare treat--a satisfying meal for two under $25, a true anomaly in today's dining scene. The breakfast croissant was a delightful indulgence. My husband and I each enjoyed one, his adorned with Swiss cheese, mine with white cheddar, and both were utterly delicious. Generously filled with tender turkey, each bite was a savory delight. I highly recommend ordering an extra side of aioli, which adds a perfect, flavorful touch to an already delectable dish.

Yelp
Tried District Deli for the first time those afternoon. Ordered the pastrami and the roast beef. DELICIOUS! Cute little place with friendly quick service and and super yummy!

Yelp
This little deli and coffee shop opened in the Arts District on March 23, 2024. The location is nice on a Saturday morning to sit and have a cup and a breakfast sandwich. I had the croissant breakfast sandwich. It had sliced turkey, scramble egg, cheese and an herb aioli. Very tasty. The service was great. The food even better. I'll have to try other sandwiches from the menu on future visits. Check this place out

Yelp
Yum! I loved their potato salad and pastrami sandwich. The perfect lunch while thrifting in the art district!

Yelp
It's truly fascinating how poorly run this place is. Not sure if just wildly understaffed or just incompetence by the kitchen staff. Literally ordered a cold turkey sandwich on a weekday and it took 30 minutes. I had to wrap it up and eat it at the office. Will never go bank.

Yelp
I wanted to like my meal more than I did, but there a couple snags that left me underwhelmed. First off the egg salad sandwich I got was excellent. The eggs weren't mashed and chopped into a unrecognizable paste like a lot egg salads. There was big chunks of egg with crisp veggies to compliment the texture. I'd definitely order it again. I also got a tasty chocolate chip cookie that I didn't originally order, but more on that in second. My main issue was with the fruit smoothie I got; orange juice, strawberry, and mango. Even from the looks of it, I noticed something was "off". After trying a sip I thought there was some type of dairy in it. I thought it was supposed to be a typical fruit and ice smoothie, so I asked the cashier about the ingredients. The cashier informed me that there is no diary but they use a "powder" for their smoothies. I'm guessing no fresh or frozen fruit? Fortunately she was willing to swap my smoothie for a Arnold Palmer and a cookie that was equivalent to the price of the smoothie. I got a order of house made salt and pepper chips with my sandwich. They were dreadful. They were severely over cooked and hard with no distinct flavors or seasonings. I'll return to try more of the food items but the smoothie I had left a bad first impression for me.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this new coffee shop downtown and was quite surprised at the quality of the food. I never have high hopes for the food at coffee shops cause they're mostly mediocre at best. But my bf and I got the Egg Salad Sandwich, Pasta Salad, Roast Beef Sandwich, Americano and a Frozen Coffee. The iced americano was perfect, the frozen coffee on the other hand was way too sweet for my liking but that just might be a personal preference. The Egg Salad sandwich is probably the best I've ever had, 10/10 would recommend. Pasta Salad was very refreshing and yummy and the Roast Beef Sandwich was extremely good. Service was prompt and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will come back for sure!!

Yelp
Customer service was great, but I have literally never waited longer for a simple iced latte in my life. I'm visiting from New York and even work at a high volume cafe where I am the only barista behind the bar, and I have never taken/waited that long for any drink. Great service, bet yall gotta speed it up.

Yelp
I decided to come in and give this deli a try today.. I'm overall a very picky person so there's been a lot of places that I go to and I'm just not impressed with, this is one place that I definitely don't feel that way about.. I ordered three subs. I was very happy with the size of each sub and they all taste really good... I ordered a chai tea also.. overall I'm very happy with the experience..the staff was very friendly and I did not have to wait long to get my food.. I definitely will be back.

Yelp
The cutest new coffee shop in The Arts District. I frequent a couple of breweries in the area so when I passed by this new place I knew I would have to try it. It was so small and inviting. Absolute perfection and everything that a coffee shop located in this area of Vegas should be. I got a frozen coffee and also got a smoothie for my kids to split. I didn't order any food at the time but their menu sounded incredible. The girl that took my order was so nice - in fact everyone working was very sweet and attentive. I even accidentally left one of my bags there and the staff held it safely for me until I returned. This is definitely going to be a must stop at place for when I am in this part of town.

Yelp
We've come in a couple times and each time has been great! The sandwiches are so much better than what you could find at Starbucks or any other coffee shop in the area. I'd highly recommend trying their avocado toast with soft boiled egg. It has a crusty bread that holds up so well with the avocado. All the flavors are so well-balanced as well. It won't compare to any other avocado toast you'd find in a restaurant. We've also tried their roast beef and horseradish sandwich, veggie sandwich, and the chicken cutlet sandwich with marinara added. Everything I've ordered tastes like it's from a higher-end restaurant but not with the ridiculous price tag. My niece had a smoothie and it was really great too and not crazy expensive either. Overall an amazing addition to the arts district!

Yelp
We're loving this local coffee spot!! In the 5-6 times we've visited we've ordered iced oat milk lattes, frozen coffee (bianca best flavor), breakfast croissant, breakfast focaccia, egg salad sandwich, eggplant sandwich, avocado toast, caprese toast, muffins, a Danish, and chocolate beignets! Everything tasty. Everything delicious. Food comes out quickly. I'll have to ask if we can heat up the baked goods when we dine in because that will enhance the flavor and texture. Jason always gives a warm welcome and that helps with the chill vibe. There are 3 small tables inside, easily allowing our party of 2 to dine in and beat the heat. The breakfast croissant is what I dream of!

Yelp
Has got to be one of my favorite stops for a cute little coffee sandwich moment!!! The staff was so friendly, and the food was top tier!!! I got a breakfast croissant that was perfectly soft, crispy and flakey and the coffee was good and strong! My second or third time here and i just can't get enough! They extended their hours til 10pm too, so definitely will come to study or get some work done!' Love it here!

Yelp
Found huge pieces of plastic in my sandwich. Looks like the top of a squeeze bottle. Good thing I didn't shallow/ choke on it. How does this happen?!

Yelp

Yelp
Good selection of sandwiches for lunch and some salad options too. Chopped salad customizable. Lots of people enjoying their blended drinks around us but we just had iced tea. Three inside tables for two and four outside. Very clean including the restroom.

Yelp
Pork Sandwich is a top sandwich in the country. 12/10. The Italian sandwich with the pepper relish is equally incredible, though the pork steals the show.

Yelp
We were looking for a cafe that is open during the labor day around downtown, this was the only shop that was open. Service was ok, coffee was ok, but the smell inside was so unhygienic. Smells like crap. The ambiance seems like you're inside a cafe but smells like you're in a crappy public bathroom.

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE District Deli & Coffee!!! Their charming outdoor patio is my favorite spot to start my mornings with their delicious cold brew and french toast muffin!! Today I was in the area and decided to stop by for lunch, and OMG I'm so glad I did!!!! The chicken salad sandwich and house-made chips were AMAZING!! 100% recommend!!! This used to be my first choice for coffee and pastries, but now it's my number one for lunch too!!! Can't wait to make my way down the menu!!!!!

Yelp
Yummy food! Came here for a quick bite. Cute little coffee shop in the Arts District. Will return in the future!

Yelp
I tried this place for the first time about a month ago and was not too thrilled on the service, but the food kept me coming back! I gave the workers the benefit of the doubt, as they had just opened, and have noticed much better service on my recent visits. I tried the house special and it did not disappoint! Definitely one of my new go to breakfast and lunch spots and worth checking out!

Yelp

Yelp
I love this place! Coffee is good, food is good and the service is good! 5 stars. Ugh, it won't let me post without it being 85 characters long. I said what I said let me live.

Yelp
This is sad. I'm so addicted to this place. I use Uber eats and it's here in 15 min. I already ordered 3 more times this week alone. Try the roast beef sandwich with everything on it!! It's amazing. Chicken salad, Pasta salad and I can keep on going. I'm on a venture to try everything. Please let me know how your adventure goes here!!!!! I'll be back over the weekend,

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place walking down the street and ended up loving it! Their frozen coffee was so good. The worker behind the counter suggested the Bianco frozen coffee, which was white chocolate flavored and so tasty! Perfect for a sunny day. The rest of the group had the original and mocha frozen coffees. Everyone loved it!

Isabella O.

Yelp
Was really excited to try this place considering all the great reviews! Sadly was disappointed with the two sandwiches my boyfriend and I got. I ordered the roast beef because I like horseradish and someone left a review saying it wasn't over powering, but WOW was I surprised! it was way too overpowering I couldn't even finish just one half of my sandwich because there was so much, it was so spicy and took away from everything else. My boyfriend ordered the chicken salad sandwich and he doesn't mind mayo but WOW they really over did it he began to get a little disgusted. Sadly both sandwiches were just so overpowered with sauces it was not good, didn't even want to save them for later. They also had a special on the beignets 2 for $5 I believe? They were awful I can't believe they even sold them to us. Tasted super old and stale, worse than old donuts from the grocery store. Overall didn't love the sandwiches and would recommend they stop selling the beignets. The service was friendly, we did have our dog with us and the lady was kind and brought him a bowl of ice water. I might be back to try the coffee but don't think I'll be ordering the food again.

Simone C.

Yelp
I had stopped by to grab some lunch I had the frozen Bianco with the roasted chicken sandwich. It was delicious and I look forward to coming back next time I'm in Las Vegas.

Yelp
Love this place, great beverages, great food , very comfortable atmosphere looking forward to coming back

Yelp
District Deli & Coffee is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cold brew was the perfect pick-me-up, and the roast beef sandwich was simply divine - juicy and flavorful. The food, the drinks, and the vibe were all on point. I'm already planning my next visit to this delightful spot!

Yelp
Love this chic new coffee shop with a delightful array of sandwiches, smoothies & desserts!! Kind staff, very attentive and personable. Perfect place for brunch with family and friends :)

Yelp
Cute and cozy new coffee shop! Amazing food and coffee. Everyone is super nice! Tried the tuna salad sandwich and it was sooo good! Their pastries are baked fresh daily. Tried the chocolate chip cookie and my kids loved it!
