Excellent breakfast place located in Lakeview. I ordered the Big Bird Biscuit which surprised me as to how much could be stacked on a fluffy, precisely baked biscuit. The sausage gravy was creamy and full of bits of sausage, the chicken breast was juicy and well seasoned, the bacon was perfectly crispy and all this goodness was topped with a sunny side up egg. The coffee was excellent as well. I finished it off with a chocolate buttermilk drop. What a great experience.

Awesome place. Wonderful people. Great menu. Ranchero Burger, affectionately known as ‘the hot mess walk of shame burger’, was very tasty and delicious. Acoustics have too much echo and difficult to talk and hear. Definitely a place to visit again

This place has great food, a smaller dining room, but seems really comfortable. The guy working the til suggested I get the BBQ burger (I forgot the menu name) but to leave off queso, which I did and it was delicious. The chocolate milk is great, both me and the kids I was feeding liked it. Kids ate sliders and loved them. Plus, they have high quality other drinks like espresso and "real" soda. Everyone working was very kind.

We only got their donuts, and I found them to be similar to crumbl. Definitely love the creativity but some of them were a bit too sweet.

The hot chicken sandwich absolutely blew my mind. The cinnamon roll was also the best I have ever had! We can’t wait to come back!

I enjoyed when we came and we were greeted the iced coffee that I have is very good vanilla and brown sugar have a glazed donut.

The best Doughnut 🍩 Place in New Orleans! And one of the best bruches in the New Orleans area. For being a chain (local chain) they didn’t lose the flavors and quality! Plus their creativity with their doughnut’s flavors! They have very unique flavors! If you visit them, you have to try they Chorizo Bacon 🥓 Burrito! It’s worth the drive!

I had heard great things about this place and so we made it part of our target mission we're a target mission to stop by and have breakfast twist after staying the night in the French quarter before we hit city park and did the hiking and exploring and seeing things there. We totally needed the hike and nice walk after eating this fantastic breakfast. Parking is absolutely terrible. The line was continuously out the door. The smell when walking in is absolutely tantalizing And you will pray for the line to move faster. The donuts are ready to go but everything else is made by hand when ordered and you can watch it all go down. There are many more appetizing items on the menu and will definitely Check these out and make this another stop. I'm extremely interested in their afternoon fair as their little chicken sandwich and their little Burger sliders look fantastic. Stop buying check this place out it's definitely worth the fight for the parking.

Came here with a friend the morning after the Krewe de Vieux parade! Definitely the perfect spot for a morning-after coffee. The place was very bright and cute inside. Also very clean. Considering how busy the place was the service was also pretty quick. I got a hot vanilla latte with oatmilk which was super delicious. I tried a sip of my friend's iced lavender latte and found that really refreshing. I would definitely come back the next time that I'm in NOLA!

Stopped by here with my daughter to grab a quick bite. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice. The service was great! The lady at the counter was very helpful and nice. The food was standard. It was a nice portion. Will I return probably not but, it is a nice place to hang out at with friends. Oh and had the red velvet donut that was delicious!

Ordered the vanilla cinnamon glutenless drop which was good. The smoked Gouda grits are amazing 10/10 super creamy

Came here with my friend for breakfast before spending the day at the Botanic Gardens in City Park. I got an Iced Lavender latte and a Boston Cream Donut and he got a regular iced coffee and a donut with sprinkles. The donuts were delicious and my lavender latte was fantastic; just the right balance of floral without it tasting like soap. There is a pretty small parking lot for the restaurant, which was full, but there is plenty of street parking nearby. There is also plenty of seating inside as well as a few picnic tables outside. The service was alright, but my drink took longer than expected to come out. Overall, this is a cute place to grab a quick coffee.

Great place to grab a cup of coffee and sweet treats. I really love the Kolaches as well, they are so yummy. Service is quick and efficient and the outdoor seating is a plus.

Wow this place blew me away. Amazing biscuits, chorizo bacon taco, cheesy grits, not to mention the cinnamon roll and cookie butter doughnut... take me back!

Their actual food is delicious!! All the sliders we had were amazing. The donuts were a little much. They're very pretty and they have good taste but not great like I had hoped. You would think they'd be out of this world. They definitely didn't taste fresh. Lemonade was SOOOO TART! I had to cut it with big cups of water first before any of us could drink it. Vietnamese iced coffee was delish! So all in all get coffee and sliders and fries! Skip the fancy donuts and lemonade!

I was impressed with my meal. The service was great. They were friendly and accommodating. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. I had the Nash'alo Hot Chicken Sandwich. It had the right amount of hot, honey and cream in the sauce. It came on a tender biscuit. The Smoked Gouda grits were awesome. Very good. The glazed Brussels sprouts were awesome as well. I recommend this spot!

4/18/2022 I've been going to district for years strictly for donuts and coffee which they've mastered beautifully. I decided hey it's time to try out breakfast. I chose the hot honey buttered chicken biscuit. At first glance I wasn't sure how I was going to conquer this delicious massive sandwich in front of me. So I cut it in half and proceeded to dive in. The chicken was seasoned and fried so well. Warning it is a chicken thigh and not a chicken breast so it is darker meat. I had no issues with it. The biscuit was amazing think church's biscuit but way bigger and loads more of butter and honey with a kick of heat. It wasn't to spicy but the spice was still there. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich and when I'm ready hungry I'd get it again.

Quaint donut shop w/a cool variety of donuts and food. Didn't try the food but smelled good. Got 6 donuts and iced coffee. Coffee was full bodied and lots of flavor. Donuts were heavy and filled w/a variety of things. Coconut cream pie was awesome but very sweet. Service was excellent. Give they a try if you're in the area!

The first rainy day in NOLA of the new year. What better way to start the morning than with a visit to Lakeview's finest, District Donuts Sliders & Brew. They were pretty busy this morning, but the young man at the register was pleasant with everyone he encountered. Now, seeing as though it's rainy out, you would think that coffee would be the obvious choice, right? Well, in the spirit of being unpredictable, I opted out of the warm, soothing beverage and got my all time go to: the Hot Chicken & Honey Butter French Toast Biscuit! Let me tell you, this breakfast sandwich has had me in a chokehold since the first time I tried it back in May 2021. District Donuts understands the assignment EVERY SINGLE TIME with this one! 10/10 for the chicken - it was seasoned and fried to perfection. If you don't like dark meat, I'm sorry that you are missing out on this deliciousness. It's a nice flavorful chicken thigh that is the perfect partner to the honey biscuit. Full disclosure: if someone would have told me that I would have found a honey biscuit better than Church's Chicken, I wouldn't have believed you; but this biscuit right here: OH. MY. GOD. It gives Church's a run for their money. I can rave on and on about this masterpiece, but I think it's something you need to experience for yourself. In addition to the sweet & savory sandwich, I also decided to add on 2 donuts to my tab. A traditional glazed (because DUH!) and of course I had to get the King Cake donut in the spirit of carnival time in the Big Easy! The guy at the register told me it is super popular and one of the best sellers during the season. I haven't tried it yet, but it is a king cake glaze, king cake filling topped with tri-color sugar and topped with a little king cake baby. Honestly, even if I don't like it (which I highly doubt) it is the cutest donut ever. All in all, if you're in Lakeview, or around any of the other 5 locations across the Greater New Orleans area, and looking for good coffee and a mouthwatering hot chicken & honey butter French toast biscuit, look no further than District Donuts.

I love coming here for donuts when I'm in NOLA. In addition to getting donuts here, my friend and I also got the Hot Chicken & Honey Butter French Toast Biscuit and it was absolutely incredible - sweet & savory while also fried to perfectly and seasoned well. I've had the pork belly sliders here in the past and they were also very good. Now that I think about it, although the donuts are very good, I actually prefer the food items more lol. Also love that they have lavender lattes here so we ordered that - it was a bit too sweet for me so I did ask the barista for some more coffee to tone the sweetness down a bit and she was so nice about it. Service was great and love that this location isn't crazy busy.

We had hoped to get the Hot Chicken and Honey Butter Biscuit, but we arrived too late in the day for a breakfast item. Instead, we ordered "The Rooster" Chicken Sandwich and the "Nash-Alo" Hot Chicken Sandwich - both of which were delicious! The best part of the visit, though, was the bounty of sweets we brought home and shared! Coconut, glazed, chocolate, and blueberry cheesecake-filled donuts, a cinnamon roll, chocolate chip cookie, and Brown Butter Drop were all very tasty. The best treat, though, was the Mardi Gras-inspired King Cake filled donut - complete with plastic baby on top! Not being from NOLA we were delightfully surprised by the flavor combination. And it's a good thing we got two because it was the favorite! The staff was pleasant and helpful, service was timely, and the food was great. We would highly recommend this District Donuts location!

At the recommendation of a few people, we made our way to District Donuts anticipating some sweet treats to start our day. Our Lyft driver suggested that we try the breakfast sandwiches, and I'm so glad he did! We had an assortment of breakfast items-a couple sandwiches as well as a donut and a cinnamon roll. For the first time in history, my teen son was unable to finish his food-he raised the white flag and said he couldn't handle all the sweetness of the cinnamon roll. It was good, but mighty!

My partner and I really enjoy District Donuts. Today we decided to splurge so we ordered it through Uber. Never again. I am so disappointed but this amount of food that we spent nearly $60 for today to just celebrate being home together on a Sunday. How disappointing that we worked so hard for our money and this is what we received.

This place is a hidden gem The turkey sausage biscuit has the perfect scrambled eggs light and fluffy the cheese is perfect melted The out of the biscuit is has a good crunch to it and the inside is light and fluffy. The oatmeal cream pie doughnut is very sweet and the cinnamon rolls are like king cake get one to go you will thank you me later!

Great coffee and food spot! We ordered a Vietnamese coffee, a drip coffee, and a glazed donut - and all were delicious. District donuts makes everything from scratch, uses local ingredients, and roasts their own coffee. The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially this being our first visit. We sat outside at the tables/benches, but there was also ample seating available inside. Park in their small side lot or on the street. (Note that you return your tray towards the back of the seating area - we didn't see it at first). Very clean. I will return and try their other food items for lunch.

I come from the Northshore just for lunch. I grab the combo slider pack (pork belly slider, cheese burger slider and chicken slider) it comes with waffle fries but I add the cheese to the fries and a Coke. I also order a Vietnamese iced coffee. First of all the staff has always been super friendly and accommodating. The establishment is clean and orderly. Now for the food, OMG!!! Each slide has its own distinctive taste that is "to die for". Oh if you want a donut, expect to share one donut as they are HuGE and delicious!!

I luv little cute breakfast spots..... the crème brûlée cinnamon is definitely a selling point. I had the hot chicken and honey butter French toast sandwich. It's actually a really good sandwich my only critique was that my sandwich was under cooked

This was a really cute place for a quick brunch. I was craving something savory and the Hot Honey Chicken biscuit was perfect! I loved the pairing of the sweet honey biscuit and the fried chicken. Service was quick and the workers were friendly!

This was the best vegetarian burger I ever had. Everything test so fresh, Homemade vegetarian patty. I will be back again. If you are vegetarian I highly recommend to try this burger.

This place was just ridiculous. Take your favorite local coffee shop, add in some weekly rotating amazing donuts, then, just when you thought that was it, BAM! They go and serve these RIDICULOUS breakfast dishes (see photos below). You bet being my only visit here while in NOLA I had to have BOTH the Hot Chicken and Honey Butter French Toast Biscuit and the Chorizo Bacon Taco. Photogenically, the biscuit takes the cake (the taste is pretty great too). It's a fantastic balance of sweet/savory but this breakfast taco, good God. It's a slab of bacon (hella thick) that's chorizo spiced and ready to ruin any other previous favorite of the quick service breakfast game. If you're near a DD, you better be stopping!

Such a great spot for breakfast! Checked out this AM while in town for work. Quick and friendly service. Couldn't pick on which biscuit to get so got both! Both equally great! In nice area of town as well.

Chicken sandwich on homemade coleslaw , pickled jalapeños and that warm fresh bread is a testament to food art! We also had the fresh baked donuts- one pistachio , one German chocolate, and one upside down pineapple! This modern twist to bakery goods and deep fried chicken was amazing. The ambiance was clean and had all staff with masks and gloves. Every other table has a display of practice social distance. The food was incredible, the flavor was unlike anything I have tried in regards to fried chicken sandwiches before.

Great service .. Cinnamon rolls were great and coffee was very good too. Again great service and free coffee top off.

I love district donuts! They have one of the best cinnamon rolls I have tried. It is a bruleed cinnamon roll with cream cheese icing. The perfect cinnamon roll for me is crispy on the outside but soft and warm in the inside. Plus a variety of fresh and creative donuts that change from day to day! Pictured is the maple bacon donut because who doesn't love bacon and a carrot cake! They also have kolaches, biscuits, breakfast tacos/bowls, croquenuts, and of course coffee! My favorite is a basic cappuccino.

The donut flavors are always interesting, and from this location I ended up with lemon cream and root beer as my two donuts. Both fit the bill. Expensive, but impressive. This location is in a quieter area than the other ones (and I've been to all of them) and it's not hard to park. As with all District Donuts, I do recommend the veggie burger, though I haven't ordered it at this location I'm sure it's good here too.

Overall, this spot is well worth a regular visit. The fried chicken sliders and candied jalapeños are standouts along with the cheese sauce for the fries. The Rooster used to be a personal fave of mine with a huge helping of pimento cheese stacked with a golden fried chicken breast, but the portion of pimento has decreased significantly and even been forgotten altogether on my recent orders. I'd give 4 stars if they were more consistent. I'm not a huge fan of the donuts, but I personally prefer a less gourmet/niche donut. Pickup times for to-go orders range from 15-30 minutes. The interior looks great and is always clean.

I'm still so heated. It took me a whole 24 hours to calm down. I ordered the hot chicken and honey butter french toast biscuit. And know what i didnt get - the chicken. Why did it take me 24 hours? Why didn't I go back and complain? Because my son had an event and my son is more important. I'm so sick of places not getting orders right. One job..one job. Sometimes it's the little things that makes a person's day and that was it. Ruined.while the honey oat lavender latte helped me calm down a bit, I'm beyond peeved. Shame on you DD on Harrison. Shame on you....

I have to write a review just for their breakfast fried chicken biscuit sandwich. It was sooo good. It went above and beyond my expectations. I want to keep coming back just for this. The service was also great. I liked the outdoor benches they had for eating as well. You gotta try this chicken biscuit sandwich.

We came here after hearing it had food donuts and I always crave donuts! Even our driver raved about it. I think the interior was really cool, the donuts were yummy, and the people were nice! I recommend this place if you want something sweet or some coffee because the coffee was delicious. These donuts are a bit denser than what I'm use to and it can be a bit heavy and fill you up. I recommend the Fluffernutter and Cinnamon Roll, they were delicious. We didn't try their sliders, but they looked delicious. Prices are pretty decent for what you get and the donuts are big! This is a good spot for families, casual dates, groups, and coffee.

This place is our go to quick breakfast and snack place. We have been here for years!! The food is alway delicious. The menu is limited but what they serve is alway amazing. We usually order the sliders and the kolache. Sometimes we ordered the specialty donuts for dessert but it's super heavy!! The one BEST thing about this place is that they have a donut a GLUTEN FREE donut for those that are gluten free!! The place is very clean and you can see the staff making your food so it's always a plus when u get to see how they prepare your food. Today, we ordered to go instead of dining in. But when we do dine in..the staff is really accommodating ...great customer service. Their COFFEE IS also amazing!! So if u r looking for a delicious cup of Joe...support your local and get it from here!!

Would definitely come back for the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. The hot chicken and honey butter biscuit was ok. The doughnuts were pretty good. Staff attitudes were on average, ok.

Great donut selection, the cinnamon roll brûlée was drool worthy! My fav was the pork belly sliders. I wasn't a fan of the cheese fries, the cheese sauce wasn't quite nappe so it didn't coat the fries just made them soggy.

Nice place for a quick breakfast, everything was good. For breakfast we got the miso praline bacon and sunny side up biscuit - sweet crunchy bacon, one of the better biscuits I've had, if only they could just come up with a better and shorter name for this instead of just listing the ingredients Chorizo taco is is bit heavy on the salty bacon for my liking, otherwise still very good, but be forewarned, it's drips fat and is messy, avoid eating in car if you can. Breakfast bowl has grits, average tasting, healthier option. Bacchus donuts is very good, has mascarpone cheese, very sweet. Matcha latte was just right. We came in twice over the weekend, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Fast friendly service, has 2 registers and moves fast, your specialty coffee will be ready in 2-3 minutes, food in about 5 minutes on avg

I've been stalking District Donut's Instagram page for some time now and finally made it!!! I had to have the cannoli donut (that along with Nola Cream and Boston Cream Pie are really what lured me in)! It was awesome!! I would definitely consider myself a donut connoisseur and one thing that was really great about these donuts-the filling goes all the way through!! The cannoli filling was soooo good & the donut was huge! They have lots of great different flavors that you don't see everywhere too! This location does have parking and super friendly staff!

Such a great location! After a late night out with friends, the easiest way to aid in the next day's recovery is the slew of options from District. Walked in for the first time without a clue as to what everyone would want. The front counter staff had a lot of great suggestions, and I just ended up getting one of everything they had available at that moment. And then I looked at the sopapilla one and said, "okay, two of those" because I didn't want to have to share the one I wanted. These pups are HUGE and very filling. We ended up cutting them into pieces because we all wanted to try all the different flavors. Didn't matter which one we tried, they were all absolutely amazing. I can't wait to go back and try out more of their menu. I can't imagine them ever doing anything horribly. Such a dream!!

Honestly, I was disappointed in this shop. The atmosphere was hipster-esque and okay, but the food was really disappointing. The donuts were expensive ($2.50 and $3.50), but they were not that great. I would rather just get Krispy Kreme donuts than go to this location again. The cranberry pomegranate donut didn't taste like cranberry or pomegranate, it only tasted like sugar glaze. I'm not sure where the cranberry was at all. They only had two pomegranate seeds on top of them, and they looked really sad. They could have at least sprinkled a spoonful of seeds. (See posted photo) The eggnog donut was better with eggnog whipped cream filling inside the donut and gingerbread cookie bits on top. However, the sugar glaze was too overwhelming to really enjoy anything else. I won't be coming back to this shop, and I'm not sure I'm willing to try any other location either.

This is a must have while in NOLA. They never disappoint me. I look forward to a new slider option or breakfast item every time I'm here. The coffee is so yummy it pairs well with any flavor donut. The service here is always a pleasant experience. They have several options around the city and one in Baton Rouge that I know of. So when you go to New Orleans check them out.

Sooooo I visited this spot after a you tube recommendation and I'm glad I did. I will most certainly come back my next visit to New Orleans!!! The hot chicken & honey butter biscuit was a bit too much heat for me and extremely rich. I would not reorder. However the bacon egg and cheese biscuit was AMAZING!!!!!! Very simple and so dang good. The staff were nice as well, inside was clean and well maintained.

This isn't my first visit, but it's my first time having this amazing biscuit sandwich. I was surprised I ate the whole thing , but overall it was ridiculously fulfilling. Seeing the honey drip off the end of the chicken left my mouth watering and I didn't know which end to start at. I knew it was going to be a messy eat but I still went for it. To me, the chicken isn't really hot or spicy, however the honey tones the hotness down some. The biscuits are nicely toasted and buttered up, Chick-fil-A has nothing on this chicken biscuit. If you're starving in the morning and need great coffee and food, you should stop by your local District.

My favorite place for a hot chicken biscuit! It's huge and fantastic. I get it every time I stop by. Also have some delicious and unique donuts! They have some nice drinks too like Vietnamese iced coffee, honey matcha latte, and honey oat lavender latte. This location is always popping too. Definitely recommend trying the chicken biscuit!!

The woman at the register that took our order could have been much nicer, but overall delicious coffee, awesome donuts, & a gorgeous location.

This space is pretty cool, and for the food they have, it's not a bad spot to go. I ordered the salad, and my friend ordered the cheese waffle fries, both of which were pretty good. The price for the salad wasn't bad ($7) and the cheese fries are a yummy indulgence. I have to say, the only thing I would complain about was the amount of ice in the iced coffee-- it took up all of the cup and didn't leave a lot of room for the drink. :(

Talk about yummy donuts!!! These rings of goodness are huge, delicious, satisfying zen masters of satisfaction. I don't know what flavor profiles you are into, but I can't imagine there's a donut in the case that wont do it for you. And if it's not a donut you're looking for, they also serve a mean slider. And if coffee's your thing, you are definitely in luck. I've enjoyed trying the different coffees offered, every bit as much as I've enjoyed the food. Theirs is the first Vietnamese coffee I've had, and it's definitely my favorite of all the coffees on their menu. Its sweet, and not low cal, but this is not a diet friendly environment. This is definitely a place to treat yourself if you're celebrating a raise, promotion, break up, make up, summer, spring, winter, fall, etc., etc., etc. I think i need a treat day - it's Wednesday right? Isn't that worth celebrating?

This is our go-to breakfast! They have done such a great job with their online ordering system and it's so easy to pick up. This visit, we got the egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. I also added some other toppings. We used to get the fried chicken sandwich (which is so amazing!) But it was too heavy for us and this sandwich was perfect! We also got a blackberry pepper donut and the chorizo kolache. The donut was beautiful and delicious and the kolache was great too! My fiance got the vietnamese iced coffee - which is so amazing! I got the matcha latte with oat milk, which tasted like green oat milk, so I won't be getting that in the future. This continues to be our go-to breakfast spot and we can't wait to be back again!

Food is on the pricey side but it is good quality. I've tried most of the menu items. They are all pretty good.

I love District Donuts! I was recently in NOLA for a girls trip & we stopped by on two separate occasions (once to grab coffee to go and once for a sit down breakfast). They have various & unique donuts that you cannot skip on when you are here. They also have a delicious breakfast menu. If you come in during the breakfast rush, be prepared to wait. If you can't find seating inside, there are also some tables out back.
