The bartenders and food was so good! I had one of their beers on tap (Air and Space) and it was fantastic! The crab dip was also fabulous! But let me tell you. The hostess… absolutely one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I came in and asked if I could sit in the bar area, and she said, “that isn’t what is next on my list. I need to put you at a booth.” There were literally at MINIMUM 5 high top tables at the bar open, so it made no sense. When she brought me and my boyfriend to the table she wanted us to sit at, it was a table sitting so close to another family it was crazy that it was even the first table she wanted us to sit at. I told her I am absolutely not sitting there as it is way too close to the other family, and said I want to sit at a high top that was right next to the table she wanted me at. The hostess rolled her eyes at me, and went to the bartender and was like, “she wants to sit here. So she is your problem.” And the bartenders were very happy to service me. I love coming here for the bartenders and the food, but the hostess with the horrible attitude has got to go. She is rude, and clearly has no customer service experience. She also kept clicking her teeth while talking to me, which is just beyond rude when a hostess should truly be one of the kindest people in the restaurant. Love the girls working the bar. Couldn’t say anything more other than they are super relatable and happy to help in any way they can.

rudest hostess of all time…we asked to sit in a booth seat (it was dead empty so many booths open) she said …uh i guess if u want we were like i mean if its a problem no big deal. she goes on to say “customer is always right🙄” so uncalled for. slow service. didnt have a plate til we had one slice of pizza left so we ate on napkins. waitress wasnt pleasant either. “margarita pizza” which was straight cheese. weirdest experience. expected more for being in DC. wont be going back

Was there for a Wizards game last week and the service was slow. The menu is extremely small so I assumed the waitress tried everything on the menu to give feedback to the diners. I inquired about the rockfish tacos that she hasn't tried. I got them anyways and the fish portion in the tacos wasn't enough for a toddler. Very disappointed spending $25 bucks for three uninspired tacos with warm fries. Should've sent it back bit it was almost game time and didn't want to spoil the mood with my fellow brothers. TRASH!

I wish I could say better things about this place because the food has been alright the few times I’ve gone. The service however is not worth it. We have not recieved a drink menu while seated, had to wait to be served after ordering, wait to order, wait to pay the bill and when this has happened, it’s near impossible to flag anyone down, even when the place is near empty. It just doesn’t seem like anyone cares… if the service was better, this would be a good spot to go before a cap1 event because of its proximity to the arena and alright pricing, but with the poor service, it’s just not worth it… after giving District E a few tries, I don’t think I’ll be going back

Atmosphere and location is cool. The Fish tacos were a joke.. shame on me for not sending it back one small tiny strip of fish with a bunch of cilantro piled on...I was later told by the hostess that the wings are the specialty..naw I'm good..

The service was excellent! AJ was so quick with my questions, made great drinks , great customer service, and she was very personable… I’ll definitely be back again, wishing her the best!

Where do I begin form the entry to the exit!!! No welcoming hospitality!! The waiter Bow had the audacity to tell me and friend that he was off when all we wanted was a glass of wine! I must say the manager Michael is very pleasant, and a great listener. Let’s move on to the bartender A.J. Who is very combative, as well rude with a hostile attitude! She was so dismissive and unpleasant when I spoke I not she began to say how she would have me removed perform the business! I questioned her character, Ora, and abrasive gestures, and she was livid!! I can say the bands was awesome Push Play to be exact! The other kind hostess was Aniyah after speaking with her she was so compassionate! It’s unfortunate that places like this that offer good social settings lack in customer interaction and respect

Had the music going and not too terrible a wait to get a drink but best of all Caps 50th Anniversary Coozies
