I frequent Oak Park and have passed this gem so many times but had never gone in. My friend had a discount coupon so we went. I'm so glad we did. The restaurant was quiet and clean. I forgot the hosts name but he was very attentive and awesome! Very down to earth and friendly. We ordered chicken legs, pizza, onion rings and a burger. EVERY SINGLE THING WAS 🔥! All of the food was fresh and cooked to order. The wings and burger were seasoned to perfection. I jokingly told the host that someone's soulful grandma had to be in the kitchen. It was THAT good! He told us that he was the cook too! Even with him preparing the food and serving it, the service was great. I will say that it was a slow night. There were people coming in to pick up but not too many sitting in. The drinks were lacking the kick that I like.. A bit too sweet for me, not enough alcohol. The prices were not bad though. I'll most certainly be back.

I’m a frequent visitor of the restaurants in the area and I was excited and happy to support DKT on their opening day because I love the food and staff there! They know how to hire good people! This location is beautiful. From the bar decor and the wood tables for the seating, to the Wood Fire Pizza oven! Love that the oven is out in main view, as it grabs your attention and makes the place smell amazing. Drinks were great and as pizza is the main focus here, I built my own veggie pizza and it was delicious! There are free bar games, the drinks are great of course, and there’s an area with addtl seating and space for open mics/musical performances. Great for family, date nights or solo adventures like me. I’ve never had an issue going it alone at any of their spots. As it became more busy on opening day, mgmt and staff were still patient and attentive. It’s in the historic arts district of oak park so it’s going to look especially beautiful in the summer with outdoor seating under the lush trees. You’ll find me here more than once I’m sure.

Great draft beer selection, welcoming pizza oven and family friendly atmosphere. Enjoyed a $3 Hamm's on draft and Roast Beef Panzini. Get here early to kick back in a booth. Will return to watch events on many of their hd screens, enjoy live music or participate in a Fortnite tournament.

After a bit of a rough start this place has found it's legs. The staff is friendly, the settings comfy. Everything I've tried on the menu has been very good.

Nice to have a laid back joint in the 'hood. Kid friendly, great Happy Hour deals, and within stumbling distance of the old homestead. Do try the Brisket Sliders. As you can see from photo they're incredible!

Fantastic place! The atmosphere was great, our server was very attentive and had a nice outgoing personality. All the dishes we had were very tasty - Sausage pizza, Chi-Town pizza, Beef and Cheese sliders. Pizza crust was perfect, liked the twist on the Chi-Town pizza - different, but in a good way. The sliders were fresh and super juicy. Great beer selection and the prices were super reasonable. Would absolutely come again!

Delicious pizza, awesome beer selection both with cans, and tap selection. Fun place to hear music from their record player, or live from the stage. Servers, managers, and owner are very nice. Cool place to watch a sports game on one of their many TV's or big screen projector. A huge addition to this nice neighborhood arts district. Something this part of town has needed for a long time. Looking forward to see how it grows. Would like to see an open mic, more bands and maybe a some movies shown on the projector. This place is off to a great start.

We had a great family night out at DKT. Nice space with a stage where kids can play with provided toys during times without live music. Our server was friendly and anticipated needs, which made for a relaxing experience. And the food was great! We tried the nachos and fungi pizza and really liked both.
