Yelp
I honestly didnt have the highest hopes for this place, considering its got the sports bar vibes and located around a fairly high traffic area like the downtown square of Georgetown. But I was pleasantly surprised that this versitile establishment is great for grabbing a beer with friends or bringing a family with kids (which I was apart of). Service was standard for only two servers on the floor, but they were doing the best they could for what they were dealing with. Our food came out with a slight delay, but this isnt a complaint but rather an observation.
A fairly good selection of Texas beer on draft. They have a great variety from sours, stouts, lighter beers, IPAs, etc.
Sticky wild boar ribs were a surprise hit! Probably the more exotic item on the menu, especially with the XO sauce they use. While I would have liked to have seen a little more meat on the bone, this was packed with a slightly sweet, umami rich flavor. There were maybe one or two bites where the meat was not as tender or rendered as it could have been, but
Nashville hot quail legs were tasty, although I feel you don't get as much bang for your buck. Still I like that they offer quail.
Chicaronnes were quite satisfying in their simple but effective execution. Crispy and fatty as they should be. The cream they provide with it makes it even better!
Trio dip was probably my least favorite thing, but that doesn't mean it was awful. Compared to everything else, this one didn't stand out as much. Everything here did not feel like it was made in house. If it was, they were doing a half ass job, since all the flavors were mild and subdued. The chips were standard as well.
Buffalo chicken schnitzel burger was actually way better than I thought it was going to be. The breading was crispy, the buffalo taste present without being obnoxious, the veggies felt refreshing, and the tator tots were actually crispy as well. It was also a reasonably portioned burger, where I got my money's worth but didn't leave leaving gross.
The red fish and chips were beautiful! Im quite surprised that I don't see this more often. Cod is ok, but red snapper has way more flavor in comparison. It also helps that this came out tender and flakey. The breading on this was thick and crunchy. Had a great oily flavor that wasn't too much .
