District Six

I love how the District Six updated its name to sound more contemporary and I like how they rotate vendors to their events. I heard about the Ube Fest and since I am an Ube lover, I had to come! I always do my best to find out where my favorite Marley Streats truck from Hayward is at. One day I need to visit the actual bakery to see what else they serve. Anyway, This truck can do no wrong everything I have ordered so far in the past to present are always good and on point. I decided to try other desserts I haven't tried before. My go to has always been Flan Ube cheesecake. For my first time goodies drum roll were.....The Ube infused spam, Musube was surprisingly good, that Ube rice flavor really came out well light sweet taste went well with our good fried spam. :) Next one was the Flanana was surprisingly good! Tastes just as good as my friend makes her pudding. This condense milk banana pudding has Oreos and Nilla wafers crushed into it and the kicker is the homemade flan! Wow! Is all I can say. Yummy in my tummy! Buko Bakes, I decided to try the halo halo fudge which was a little too much on the sweet side but it has good flavor. So if you like Halo halo then this is for you. I enjoyed the Crinkle cookie, nice texture and sweetness. I got here early when it first opened and didn't see the donut vendor, but other than that it was a nice low key Ube event which I assume would be more busier near the end of the day.

Great spot to explore a variety of food trucks and enjoy drinks. Plenty of outdoor seating and a lively, welcoming vibe.

Back when this place was still the SoMa Streat Food Park this place was great. Not sure if it died out during Covid or what. Maybe it was sold and became DistrictSix? In any case they are open just for popups. Unfortunately their event today was kind of dead compared to what I've seen it in the past. Came to find out on their IG story that their primary vendor for their event was a no show. It's "great" that they notified the customers via IG story... near the END of the event and then still proceeded to charge people the entry fee. Great business tactic to make it seem like that actually cared about informing the customers.

I came her to watch the 49er playoff game and it was a decent setting. Pretty slow for a Saturday game day. The service was good though and the food was tasty as well. Service 9/10 Food 7/10 Location 6/10

I went to the ube fest here this afternoon and had some delicious treats, including an ube iced latte and ube Oreo banana pudding. The space is outdoors, and very cute with a huge selection of food trucks and vendors. Next time I gotta go back hungry for more than dessert!

District Six is a great place to hang out. There are food trucks, a barber shop, outdoor workout class, and the host several outdoor events. It's directly across from COSTCO. There are very few street parking spots available so using a ride share service is preferred. There are several events hosted at District Six and the best way to find out more is to follow them on social media.

Holly helped us plan our company's event with over 30 people in less than 48 hours. Despite a very quick turnaround time, Holly was amazing, responsive, and helped us book our event with no sweat. The District Six venue is perfect for large group gatherings, as it's spacious and a total vibe. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Special shout to JV for being an amazing host. We'll definitely be back!
