Two Jose Garces Restaurants Are Opening in Atlantic City | Eater Philly

"Once housed in Revel, Distrito will return as an outpost at Ocean Resort with Garces providing culinary expertise and menu consultation under a restaurant management agreement; the original Distrito sits in University City, while a Moorestown Mall location closed last month." - Rachel Vigoda

Google
The food was good. My kids got fish tacos, and they all loved them. I got the chicken bowl, and I enjoyed it. The beef nachos were pretty good with the slices of fresh jalapeño, but ground beef would have been better than the shredded beef. My recommendation would be to add ground beef tacos and nachos to their menu. The only critique is how expensive it is, but that's pretty standard for the area.

We were in the ocean for the weekend and stopped here for some birria tacos and steet corn ribs. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and after a little wait for our host to pop up we were greeted and placed our order. The food came pretty fast, and it was pretty good. It's a nice little lively area off the casino floor with plenty of seating and other food options. We also had their $5 margaritas with were good and strong. Definitely worth a revisit

Google
Easy place to get into…we walked up and had seats. It’s a restaurant off of the casino that’s bar style seating. The tacos I ordered were good! The chicken was a bit dry but the tortilla was crispy and the cheese they used was a nice compliment to the chicken and lettuce. I also got a watermelon margarita with mint which sound strange but was pretty great. Probably good for a late night snack spot.

Google
Simply love getting my Margaritas from This location. Yum yum yum great drink deals. You can also get some tacos are nachos. Had a great chat with their staff we were all laughing so hard…

Google
A taco truck inside the casino, brilliant. We have gone there many times both while staying at Oceans and also while walking the boardwalk. Margarita Mondays has $5 Classic Margaritas. Taco Tuesday sales with $3 Pollo or Carnita Tacos, $4 Carne or Camarones Tacos. You place your order at a small stand up desk, they give you a number on a pole to put on your table. The food comes out fast. Everything I’ve had there has been good. Three tacos are $12 which is a good price for a casino. Thursday is Nacho Night with $8 Nachos which we have had a few times to take back to our room. Brunch is from 11AM to 2PM has an option of two different burritos (Carne Guisado, Verduras) and three different tequila drinks (Mango Mimosa, Bloody Maria, Michelada (Modela Especial, lime, spices, salt).

Google
Disgrace to Mexican food everywhere! Spent 10 minutes explaining I wanted nachos with extra cheese extra Salas with sour cream..Any sports bar in America can make them..These guys are a joke! I'm in shock 😲 dry chips no salsa or cheese..worst nachos I ever had going into the garbage🗑!

Allo C.

Google
Located inside the ocean casino food hall. Even though it's inside the casino the price are super affordable and the food freshly made from scratch. They use corn tortilla. The chicken taste well balance between the acidic and all other seasoning. The shrimp taste fresh and perfectly grilled. Overall good place to enjoys taco

Google

Yelp
My recent visit to Distrito was much more enjoyable than my previous one. We grabbed seats at the counter and ordered drinks, chips, and tacos for a lighter dinner. My Spicy Margarita was bright green in color, because it used Ancho Reyes Poblano Liqueur, in addition to jalapeno slices, Teremana Blanco tequila, and fresh lime juice. It was an excellent rendition of one of my favorite cocktails. We ordered the Fried Tortilla Chips with the Salsa Verde to munch on while we waited for our meal and enjoyed the crunch of the chips paired with the mild heat of the salsa. My Chicken Ropa Vieja Tacos were WAY better than the previous time I had ordered them. The chicken was tender and stewed in a smoky, bold sauce. At first glance, I had been bummed about their lack of toppings, but the tacos were really delicious, even with just the chicken and an avocado crema. I, similarly, heard that the Quesabirra Tacos had improved and that their included beef had been expertly braised. Distrito is a spot I would recommend if you want to grab a quick and easy meal, or a few affordable drinks, while strolling through the casino.

Yelp
Great little food court offering a little bit of everything. You can find a taco truck, burgers, sandwiches, salads and sweets. They have you covered for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff is always super friendly, the dining area is always clean and well maintained. The condiments and silverware are well stocked. Great little place to nourish yourself before you head back out to the casino floor to hit that winning jackpot!
google avatar

Yelp
Not the best but convenient because it's located in the Ocean Hotel food court. The day we went was crazy and we had to wait an hour for nachos. We had time to kill but the pick up "service" was soooo slow. We were starving. It's convenient but keep an eye on your food so they don't forget about you or give it to someone else.

Yelp
Here's the Scoop: Very friendly service, quick service & tasty food. Ordered the fish tacos. 3 in an order , delish! It was also margarita day here. Delicious strawberry margaritas. A little back heat in the taco sauce but not bad. My honey and I enjoy every bite and sip. Good place for a quick bite. Many other items I want to try next time I come for lunch or dinner. Prices are reasonable.

Yelp
Cannot give a full review because I did not get anything to review! But I wanted to make aware that the food truck is gone from the food court and replaced with seating. The bar remains, however they no longer offer any food. With that, they do not offer the drink specials that were a part of the food menu. What a great disappointment this was for me as Distrito offered the best burrito bowl around AC. I can say that when I asked about the change at the bar, the bartender was extremely friendly and apologetic about the food! Unfortunately the bar was empty-which is rare. So I hope that the lack of food offerings is not deterring people from what I consider (from the past) some excellent Mexican drinks.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick bite to eat. The service was pleasant and fast and the tacos were delicious however it would've been nice to have more fish than toppings. As you can see, the fish was barely an inch long.
google avatar

M K.

Yelp
Decent for food court Mexican. Drink was subpar. Guacamole was too cold so even if made that day, was kept too cold. And the chips served with it were way too thing to use with the guac.
google avatar

Que B.

Yelp
Really enjoy coming here to pick up my Spicy mango Margarita. Service is always spot on whoever behind the bar definitely brings the energy. The taco truck is definitely a whole vibe and such a cute touch to the distrito.

Yelp
I ordered quesa birria soft tacos to go. It came with connsume. Average tasting. Lacking cheese. Service great for takeout!
google avatar

Jim L.

Yelp
The food is super blend and Uber expansive for no reason. I am not sure if I will go back here but if you need something quick and something that's not awful I guess you can stop by here. But I know I won't.

Yelp
Wife got the fish tacos. She said they were good. Very tasty a little bit of a spicy kick. Breading on the fried fish had pieces of plantain, which gave it a little sweetness, which she liked.

Yelp
Cool, artsy taco truck literally parked in the center of Ocean Casino's food court. You have to walk past most of the casino to get to it, but in my opinion worth it! You'll pass their large bar on the right side while making your way to the ordering stand. (Bar is closed due to COVID.) Their menu is on a sign next to the ordering stand. Once you figure out what you'd like you put the order in through the worker who gives you a table number. They have a myriad of tables which you can choose from to take a seat at as you wait for them to bring you your food. The shrimp/carnita tacos I tried today we're really good - just wish they out some cabbage and some type of guac on top. I used some from the bowl which my mom got. The carne quesadilla was really delicious - love the melted cheese and hefty portion of meet. The side of guacamole was huge and delectable. The margs come in tiny plastic cups but are def on-point! If you're looking for a quick but and your in Ocean Casino I def recommend this spot.

Yelp
I loved the nachos with chicken, really good and bursting with taste. The pickled jalapeños were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick snack for a gambling break. They have a nice bar where you can have a refreshment and order food from Distrito.

Yelp
After arriving at the Ocean Resort Casino, we were exploring to find some place to eat. We had found Distrito Cantina located in the District food area. They had a great variety of entrees like burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and burrito bowls. We placed our order with Victor and waited at a table nearby for our food. Our food was ready in less than 10 minutes and was brought directly to our table. We had ordered a quesadilla, tacos, and nachos. The food was very fresh and really delicious. The meat was tender on the nachos and had a lot of toppings and I loved the extra jalapeños. Overall we enjoyed our food. The service was excellent.
google avatar

Yelp
Inside the Ocean Resort Casino, it's a casual, eat at the bar kind of situation though there are tables too. I got the fish tacos which were so tasty and came out quickly. They have specials so it's worth asking what they have that day. Super friendly service. Great for a quick bite.

Yelp
I honestly don't understand the low reviews of Distrito. To start: you're in AC at one of the best resorts, so expect NYC prices on a lot of things. Secondly - THE HAPPY HOUR. We basically lived at the bar for the $2 margs (which are GOOD) and $2 tacos. Khalid is an amazing bartender - talented, extremely friendly, and knowledgeable about the business on a whole. It was honestly a trip highlight getting to sit at the bar, sip really delicious, really cheap margaritas, and chat with Khalid and the staff, as well as other customers at the bar. For three margs a piece (this was our rule, three happy hour drinks then we had to take a walk around the casino to ensure we COULD walk), the bill was $12, which is typically the price of one subpar one somewhere else. No bullshit, no extra fees, just a great overall vibe and decently strong margs. Also, I would like to give a PSA to the nachos - you could write a love song about them. Holy shit - everything was perfection, and we were informed everything is made in house with fresh ingredients, and it showed. Long story short: Distrito is horrible for my liver and hopes of wearing a crop top, but amazing for the food, drinks, and overall good vibes.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place since I love Amada. The bartender, Tara, was helpful in suggesting margaritas and a wine. The taco & chips and salsa left something to be desired. The taco was cold, and the chips lacked salt.

Yelp
Came out to Atlantic City for a quick mini getaway. In the mood for some tacos I decided to give the Distrito a chance. Located right on the casino floor of one of my favorite hotel Ocean, is this cool Mexican theme taco truck!! Amazed at it me and my foodie partner in crime had to try it out!! We decided to order some margaritas, nachos, and carne guisado tacos!! The employee who took our order was very prompt and sweet. We decided to eat the food right in the food court. Our drinks came out first in these little cups filled with lots of ice, and honestly speaking it tasted more like the margarita mixer with not much alcohol in it at all.. It had a very bitter tart taste.. hoping the food would make things better, the tacos came out the carne guisado taco is consisted of braised short rib. Cilantro, onions, crema, and queso fresco. When I got my tacos, I was ready to just devour them!! Unfortunately these tacos have NO flavor in it we all!! I thought the braised short rib would be flavorful but it wasn't at all!! The queso fresco and crema was missing, I felt like the chef just threw so many raw onions and pickled onions on top of the tacos to fill them up.. which still didn't give these Tacos any helping chance.. the nachos consisted of black beans, tomato, queso mix, jalapeños, poblano rajas, radish, crema, and cilantro... i don't know how but some of the nacho chips where burnt, many of the stuff that was suppose to be on the nachos was not on the nachos at all. And the beans just tasted like she took them out the can.. I truly feel like the chef, didn't put their all into there food that day!! For the price we paid for the food it was not worth it at all.. because I had to end up buying something else to eat for dinner.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious tacos. Probably the best crafted and flavorful tacos I have ever had and for the great price of $2 at happy hour. The chicken version had tender flavorful chicken breast chunks with nice slices of avocado and a slaw topping. The pulled pork was stuffed with juicy meat and more of that delicious slaw. Got to wash them down with a very well made margarita. Will definitely make this a stop every time I am at the Ocean this will be a definite stop.

Yelp
[872] 3/2/2019 This Mexican eatery is located in the Ocean Resort Hotel/Casino. It's on the casino floor so easy to grab a bite to eat which enjoying the games. You order your food at the counter and then you sit at a table to wait for your food. The set up is really cool as the kitchen is set up as a food cart. The problem is that there is no heating lamp so by the time we got our food it was cold. I had chicken nachos and they were really bad and super cold. The cheese was stuck/burnt on to the tray. I'm guessing this is not normal as other people's pictures looked way better then mine. Hubby had the chicken tacos which were eh. He had 1 1/2 out of three. Our friend had the shrimp and chorizo tacos which he enjoyed. Overall it's ok but I don't think I'll come back.

Yelp
Alina is SUPER awesome and great. Me and my gals had the most amazing margarita Monday. Best margs in AC

Yelp
I love the tacos so good and the $5 drink is so good the mango one is amazing makes you feel nice which I liked a lot . Tacos are excellent will be back soon to get more Service was amazing Thaminah helped me and my husband out understanding what comes on the tacos and the drinks she helped us understanding what was in each one and it was fast service as well The place is nice that they have a nice bar and tables around to sit it so that was nice
google avatar

Vanessa C.

Yelp
They offer $2 tacos $2 margaritas- for me, both were just eh. "You get want you pay for" It is a very cool consent and a nice amenity to the resort. It is a taco truck with tables and chairs. I think the younger crowd ( early twenties) will find the deal very appealing Pop in if you ever stay at Ocean Resort Atlantic City
google avatar

Tally E.

Yelp
I had such high hopes for this food truck situated inside the food court. I was so disappointed to try the tacos at happy hour. Though it was a great deal it was really not even worth it. There was no barely any meat, no salsas served with the tacos. I mean considering Iron Chef Jose Garces owns it, you would think he would have salsas to accompany the tacos but nope. I asked for hot sauce/salsas and the girl handed me hot sauce packets. I was so sad. Not interested in trying other menu items since the tacos were so terrible.
google avatar

Yelp
I think I'd say this place was closer to 3.5 stars. We came for lunch on Friday at noon and ordered the Chicken Tacos and another Chicken Tacos with the Adobo Chicken instead because my girlfriend has a tomato allergy. You order at the little table and take a seat. My tacos were good, they weren't the best ever but they were good and had a nice flavor. My girlfriend liked hers but I ate her last taco and if you didn't get avocado in a bite they were so bland. Then again I'm not sure if that's their fault because this isn't an item on their menu, they did it for us at our request. I'd like to see them offer a sampler of 3 diff tacos to be able to try different kinds. Also, I get the thought to keep it a little dark but it really was too dark in this area for 12:00 in the afternoon. Girl taking orders was borderline rude and acted as if she was doing us a favor. I glanced over as we waited to see her standing at the register playing on her phone, there didn't appear to be any management. The girl who brought us our food and waters however was very nice and friendly. Not bad, not in any rush to come back.

Yelp
We came here for lunch thinking it'd be more along the lines of a quick service dining experience. The food truck out front is where they prepare the food, but you do not go up to it to order- you take a seat and are waited on. The seating setup is interesting: there's bar seating, one picnic-style table that seats six and round picnic tables that seat six. When we arrived, all of the tables were occupied, mostly by just one or two people (even with a capacity of six per table). The staff told us that patrons have usually been sharing tables with other parties- which is what we ended up doing. They only opened last week, so there were some hiccups in our experience but nothing major. Their drink menu wasn't fully available (certain beers weren't available, no prickly pear margaritas). We ended up ordering regular margaritas which were very good and very strong. We ordered the nachos, carne guisado tacos and pescado tacos. It was a bit of a long wait for our food but it was all delicious- everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff here was really friendly, helpful and attentive.

Yelp
Tacos were decent for a tight pinch. Kind of dry, could use some cheese and flavor. 12 bucks for 3 tacos not bad.
google avatar

CJ V.

Yelp
We love staying at Ocean and grabbing a quick bite at Distrito before heading to our room to get ready for a night out but this time the Bartender at Distrito refused to serve me. When I sat down there were 4 men already eating and drinking. I asked for a menu and the bartender ignored me then 2 men walked up to his bar and he immediately helped them. I sat for ten minutes waiting. As soon as my husband arrived and sat down next to me, the bartender served us. It was rude and sexist. We won't be back.
google avatar

Grace D.

Yelp
The food truck in situated inside of the Ocean Casino Resort. We walked past it a few times thought it looked interesting. We were looking for a quick bite, so we decided to give it a try. My husband and I shared the tacos with shrimp and chorizo, and the pulled pork tacos. The food was a pretty good deal, and of the most affordable meals we had when in Atlantic City. However, the tacos were slightly disappointing. They're weren't as flavorful as we hoped. Overall, decent food.
google avatar

Nina K.

Yelp
So i came here right around Christmas while taking a family getaway. The first time I came down to grab these specific tacos the carne guisado it was just exactly noon time when breakfast had just ended. I went up to the gentleman where they cook the tacos and all that good stuff and he had told me to order my food at the bar next-door so I went ahead and did so. Unfortunately ended up never getting my tacos because The bartender didn't put my order in. I later than came around the evening time 6 PM or so and ordered these and actually received them. What I got tacos and open the box they look so good and so delicious. Unfortunately it didn't really have much flavor the only flavor you got was from the Crema and cheese. The meat was OK it needed more flavor and it needed to be juicier so that it would be rich , tender and delicious. All I know is I don't think I'll ever come back for anything from here again because I am not recommending this to anybody.
google avatar

Matthew S.

Yelp
Visited Distrito recently and the speed of service has improved. The quality of the tacos is still good. I think they should include chips/salsa with each other, though.
google avatar

Marlena K.

Yelp
I came here during happy hour, and I think the saying you get what you pay for is pretty accurate. I think it's nice to give such large portions but there tasteless and how can you complain for $2. Guacamole was good. There was a fruit fly in my margarita they re-made it. FRUIT FLIES IN A MARGARITA IS NOT COOL not even if it's free. Definitely if you just want to fill your stomach go for it.
google avatar

Evan M.

Yelp
Distrito is straight up 3 stars. This is casual dining just off the casino floor. Order with the hostess, sit at a picnic table and your food is brought out. Fortunately I was able to save a few bucks when I noticed the happy hour menu (not exactly presented to me by the hostess). Guac was brought out first (but strangely not the water I ordered, why am I waiting for water?). Good guacamole and chips, just a little on the small side for $12 (regular menu price). The chicken tacos were good and nothing above that (happy hour special). The rice and beans side was way too spicy. (regular menu). All in all, an 'ok' experience more than A-OK. Good enough for a quick, casual bite to take a break from gaming.
google avatar

Susan A.

Yelp
A picture says a thousand words. Embarrassing bad food. Worse presentation. Chef Garces, please go and order this yourself anonymously (the cashier who takes the order doesn't even look up and barely acknowledges anyone while taking an order so you won't be recognized). Guaranteed you'll be embarrassed & horrified at what's being plated up. Ours went straight to the trash.
google avatar

Liz L.

Yelp
3 Stars because: the food is pretty good but expensive. This place has been around since Revel days and was more popular back then, from what I can see. It used to be hard to get a seat on one of the benches they have, which is not the case anymore. I used to LOVE this place and thought it was a rare gem. The food is still really good, but two factors have me knocking it down. First, the last time we got fish tacos they left out the avocados. It just did not taste that great and we were disappointed but then when we looked back at the pictures we realized they left out the avocados and that is what made such a difference. Come on, you can't leave out them avos. That's like a crime!!! And the other reason I knocked off a star, it's just really expensive for what it is. AC is overpriced, but there are MANY other places where you get 3 times the food for the same price as here. I used to love this place, but now it's just okay in my book.
google avatar

Yelp
Get: The Nachos and Fish Tacos I used to love going to Distrito back when Ocean Resorts was Revel. They had a great fish taco that I would get every time I was there. When Revel closed, I was distraught..where would I get my fish taco fix after a late night of gambling? Well when Ocean opened backed up, I was hoping that Distrito would be back and it was...score! I'm not sure if it was the high expectations I placed on the tacos, but when I had them last week they were not as good as I remembered. I mean they were good, but it was just a little lacking. The fish is fried and gets a nice texture from the pickled cabbage. The spicy chipotle sauce adds a great flavor. The cook forgot to add the avocado, I didn't realize until I was almost done with my meal....that might have added to the lacking taco. Next time I'll be sure to check that it is there. I will say that if you go on a Monday, they have a Margarita and Nacho special. Definitely get the Nachos for $5, what a steal! I'll be back to try again..hopefully it was just an off night.
google avatar

Mindy R.

Yelp
What kind of Mexican restaurant doesn't have queso? Anyway, after 20 minutes in line and 30 minutes of sitting there waiting and getting ignored, I go back to the cashier and tell them to check in it and wait some more. Then I'm given given a cold, old quesadilla that apparently was sitting in the window while the cooks looked right at me the whole damn time. I asked them to make it again, he ignored me, I asked a 3rd time to remake it and he made the excuse that he didn't have the ticket. I still don't have my quesadilla as I write this. Unbelievable considering the limited restaurants in the casino as most are only open alternative days for whatever dumb even before all this covid BS. I'll eat out of a vending machine before I come back here.
google avatar

Channelle R.

Yelp
The most terrible part of this restaurant is that it is located right outside of the smoking area of the casino. Every bite is surrounded by the cigarette smoke. The food was mediocre and nothing spectacular. We had chips and Guac to start. It didn't taste like it was freshly made. I had a chicken quesadilla and it was lacking in flavor and had a weird taste I could really place. Almost like a nutmeg flavor. The margarita was insanely strong and not in a good way. It tasted like cheap tequila and then I had to ask for juice to add to the margarita to tone the alcohol flavor down. The margarita was made in a machine and there was no real bartender around. I would skip this place the next time.
google avatar

Nicole C.

Yelp
Distrito in the Ocean was good, but it's clear that this week they are still working out the kinks. On the plus side, the food and drinks were on point. The margaritas were fresh and strong. We also had nachos, which were packed with flavor and delicious. I had the Carne tacos, which were amazing and very tender. The only cautionary information I can provide is that the service is slow. The waitresses warned us, so we expected it, as they are still getting used to the traffic of the bushfires new Ocean casino. Just don't expect to be in and out. The other issue is seating. It's all seat yourself picnic tables, so it can take forever to get a seat, and at times people will come up and ask to join your table or have it when you are finished. While it looks like it's run out of a food truck, it's not. You sit, the waitresses come over and take your order, like a normal restaurant. You can't just walk up. The one great thing is there is a bar, so there is additional seat just not a ton. Definitely worth a try if you're in the casino!
google avatar

Alyse J.

Yelp
Distrito was good, but nothing special. To be fair, they probably deserve closer to 3.5 stars, but I can't justify a full 4/5 stars. It is located in Ocean Resort & Casino in Atlantic City. We went thinking that it was a seated restaurant and were quite disappointed when finding out that they had picnic table-type seating and a food truck type of kitchen. The food was good, but nothing special. But the service was good and fast! If you're hoping for a relatively cheap and quick meal in Atlantic City, I definitely recommend it. Plus, it's right next to an ice cream cookie shop so that's a plus if you're into that.

Yelp
Service 5 stars Food 1 star I can get better food on the street, totally dissatisfied. Asked a waiter for the best they have, ive got the worst food for the whole trip

Yelp
Came here 2x! In my short stay in AC. The bartenders are really fun and it's a great place to go have a drink and food if you are your own. Nachos were fantastic! Also eve skinny margarita!

Yelp
Ate here while staying at the Ocean's resort at my husband's suggestion since I don't really do Mexican/South American food. The prices are a bit high but you expect this from 'in-house' eateries at resorts. Nonetheless can't say I didn't enjoy what we ordered which was the shrimp tacos and the short-rib quesadilla. The shrimp tacos were beautifully presented, easy to eat and light without compromising flavour. I was expecting something more filling though and I was still hungry after the tacos, so probably recommend as more of a snack thing or a light meal. My husband ordered the quesadilla which was a lot more substantial than my shrimp tacos. They definitely didn't skimp on the meat filling which was good to see, though it was suuupper dense. You'll want to go into a food coma after you've eaten, so not recommended if you've got a busy day full of activities and don't even think about the pool if you're going to eat one of these. The eating area was cute and there's an ice cream place opposite the Distrito van, which we ended up visiting too (on another day).

Yelp
Stopped by Distrito for a quick lunch before hitting the blackjack tables. The restaurant is a food truck shaped stand in the center of the food court. It was cute and unique. The food itself was a little bland but filling. There were a few specials offered in the mornings and during the week, so I would return for those or if I needed something quick while at Ocean Resort Casino.

Juliette A.

Yelp
Needed a quick bite to eat before going to the beach. Ordered nachos and a quesadilla. Shared both with my daughter, I thought they were excellent! And very filling. Reasonably priced.

Jonathan R.

Yelp
If you are in The Ocean Resort during Happy Hour (1-5) daily, I recommend you hit Distrito. Distrito is their casual Latin Bar, Distrito is situated next to Ocean's food court call the District and is out in the open. You can sit at the 10 seat bar and order or go around to their food truck where a register resides and you order, take a table number and your food is brought out. During happy hour Pork and Chicken tacos are $2 a pop, Margaritas are $2 a pop unless you choose a flavor and that brings the Margarita to $3. For an Atlantic City Casino this is a great deal. The food takes about 20 minutes to come out. The tacos are solid, both chicken and pork are a healthy portion but as other yelpers alluded they definitely go light on flavor which was quickly fixed with hot sauce. My wife liked her flavored Margarita. I would go back for Happy hour, I don't think I would pay full boat for their offerings. If you time it right you can get a great deal. Nothing to mention about the service, indifferent at best.

Yelp
4 stars for the food 5 stars for the bartenders (especially Khalid) 10 stars for the happy hour! You seriously can't beat $2 tacos and margaritas! It's $3 for flavors, but that's still an insanely good price. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Horrible, overpriced, disgusting Mexican food. When this was Revel, this restaurant had great food. When the casino was Revel, the tacos were great, the drinks were awesome, and the guacamole was freshly prepared, oh, and the shrimp cocktail was excellent. Now, this place is absolutely horrible. The food is extremely low quality. The chicken quesadillas were disgusting, with the dark chicken that had been cooked hours before only to be reheated. We couldn't even bite through it. Gross. The guacamole was also pre-prepared, instead of being made to order. It was sitting there, and they just scooped it into a paper bowl for $12.00. The shrimp cocktail was disgusting. The shrimp were still frozen and they smelled like sewage. Took one bite and threw it away. The $4.00 sodas are 8 oz cups of fountain soda, not a bottle of Coke or Sprite. I will never go back here again, and this used to be one of my favorite places. I don't think Jose Garces has anything to do with this restaurant anymore because it would be embarrassing to him if he tasted this food.
