My god was the food amazing. I had the Day Boat Scallops: lobster risotto, sweet corn cream and it was some of the best scallops I've ever had, absolutely delicious. We also had the Double Cut Pork Chop which were perfectly seasoned and tender. Can't wait to come by when I'm in the area again! Highly recommend!

At Ditka’s, we entered to a nice anniversary card from the staff. I savored the Delmonico, while my wife indulged in the seafood linguine. Both dishes were delectable, and the service was impeccable. It was an ideal choice for our anniversary celebration, offering a delightful ambiance and memorable moments. My only ask was that they did a better job of offering a better dessert option for our anniversary.

Google
WOW 10/10! We came here on whim with a group of 15 and they were miraculously able to accommodate. Our server Adam, the manger Jeff, and everyone else was PHENOMENAL. food service ambiance SLAYED IT!!!!!!!!

Amazing place! I love every dish! The hostess is always friendly and ready to help you find a table, even if you don't have a reservation!

Dined here with husband 7/25/25. Sharon was our server and she was just simply amazing. She was very sweet and charming and made our dining experience a great one.

Rented the Coaches Room for my son's rehearsal dinner. Great food, drinks, and service! I've included a few photos of nearby entrees.

Google
All our food was excellent 👌. I got the New York Strip and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Staff-- especially Ben were friendly and the restaurant was clean. Only downside (and I hate to be an old man about it) was that halfway through our visit they pumped up the music very loud. We were seated right under a speaker so maybe they didn't realize its that loud there.

Google
Had the 8 oz filet medium-rare, pot roast nachos, and a baked potato and a couple beers. Everything was really good, one of the best steaks I have ever had actually, really nicely cooked and a really good sear and seasoning. Waiter was great and attentive but not intrusive, good atmosphere, was a nice night out. Will go back in the future for special occasions (it was pretty pricey, about $80 per person).

Yelp
Arrived on a Friday night and it was pretty packed. We had a reservation so we didn't have to wait. We were meeting friends but arrived early so we headed to the bar for a drink. My husband had an old fashioned and it was perfectly made. I had the raspberry smash martini which was light and refreshing. We were sat at a booth close to the front of the restaurant. We started with calamari which was delicious! Then we all had steaks and they were perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed my coffee rubbed Delmonico. I do wish I has substituted mashed potatoes in place in my asparagus because that butter would've been so good stirred into the mashed potatoes. Unfortunately we were too full to try dessert. If I return, I definitely wanna try the turtle ice cream dessert! I did have an espresso martini with dinner and it was fantastic, nice and smooth! All in all a great meal and great service.

Yelp
Clients staying near the airport picked Ditka's in Robinson Plaza, so our group of five rolled in on a Thursday night ready for a good meal. The lineup sounded impressive: filet, coffee-coated Delmonico, ribeye, halibut, and even the Rocky Bleier Burger.... but the flavor just never made it to the end zone. Everything was edible, nothing was exciting. For the price and the Ditka name, we expected a bit more sizzle and less fizzle. Didn't even snap a photo as the food looked as tired as we did after a long workday.

Yelp
Returning place in Robinson Town Shopping Mall. Nice and well prepared food. Great Soup of the day... Nice selection of Wines and draft beers too! Glad to comeback again C.

Yelp
Christina was excellent. Best waitress we have had in some time. The whipped burrata was unique and tasty. The Sonoma Chicken was excellent. Well balanced flavors and tender chicken. The pot roast nachos were a bit underwhelming. More pickled jalapeños than beef. The turtle ice cream pie was worth every cent and every calorie. Relaxed atmosphere with comfortable seating. Surprisingly busy for a Thursday night.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch. Came in around 1 on a Wednesday without a reservation and were seated right away. Was busy but not full. Ordered a white wine, the crab bisque and the pork chop. Crab bisque was delicious, very creamy Pork chop was cooked perfectly, ordered medium, and came with apple chutney and cherry au jus, with a side of mashed potatoes. They gave me enough mash for 3 people! Service was great, classic steakhouse inside, would definitely come back
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing.. from the food to the service to the atmosphere. I am in love with the whipped burrata. My steak was just perfect! My boyfriend, who is very picky and enjoyed everything as well. We look forward to returning. Thank you Ditka's. PS Great date night out!

Patti L.

Yelp
The food was excellent. Got the Parmesan crusted cod. Best I have EVER tasted. The appetizer with beef and Nachos with peppers was really appetizing!! Wine good - red from Australia; very smooth. Went for birthday in 11/22. Service was excellent and very helpful. Ambience was nice and celebratory for the holidays. 5/5!

Yelp
I went here with customers for a work lunch today. The service was very good. I love the restaurant itself. Great sports pictures all around. It had a great vibe. We got a great table. The service was very good. It seemed like everybody at the table really enjoyed their lunch as well. So in my opinion, the service was great, the food was great, the location itself was great. I would most definitely return.

Yelp
Great place to go in Pittsburgh. Classy but casual atmosphere. Good for couples and families too. We sat in the bar. Brian was our waiter and really a nice guy. We had the chicken piccata and filet. The filet was topped with blue cheese. My piccata was thin sliced over mashed potatoes. Love coming here.

Yelp
I have not been here is over a decade and now regret that decision! Best prime rib I've had in PGH. I ordered the 12oz Prime Rib which is only served on Sundays. I requested medium rare and it was cooked to that exact temperature. The meat was very tender with a warm pink-red center. To my surprise, there was not as much fat as one would have guessed, which was fantastic. The seasoning on the bark and creamy horseradish stole the show. It is what separated it from any other prime rib I have ever had. My wife and I had a dinner reservation, arrived 30 minutes early but were seated promptly. Our server Evan L was very attentive. Our glasses were consistently filled. He had extensive knowledge about the menu and how many items were prepared. Bread service, soup and salad, and our entrees were also paced well, everything arrived in good intervals. Could not have been more pleased with the service and hospitality. For a date night at a nice sit down, getting out for just under $100 before tip was fantastic. I should note that neither of us ordered drinks. Some items were very reasonable like the soup of the day ($5.50) and my entree ($45.50). My lone knock was the $10.50 Cesar salad. It was mostly a side salad that I was unable to choose as a side, so had to order separately. On a scale from 1-5: - Food 5 - Service 5 - Price 4

Yelp
It would never occur to me dine at Ditka's, but I was entertaining some out of town colleagues staying by the airport, and our originally selected destination was unexpectedly closed. So off to Ditka's we went. For a Monday night, I was fairly surprised by the size of the crowd. Most tables were occupied - a hopeful sign. Restaurant was generally clean, albeit very dark, I suppose befitting an old school Chicago steakhouse. As for the food... I've always believed a great steak has more to do with getting a high quality cut and then getting out of the way (ie don't overcook it or get too fancy). On that dimension, I had a fine NY strip. Cooked perfectly medium-rare, with a nice outer sear. The Caesar salad I started with was serviceable. A bit smaller than I was expecting and nothing super interesting, but it did the job. Sides were decent. I'd say don't sleep on the jalepeno hash browns. That was the surprise of the evening. And the brussel sprouts weren't too bad either. Finally, service was solid. Timely, attentive, but otherwise invisible (in a good way). Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the whole evening. Wound up being the perfect place to host a last minute work dinner.

Yelp
An incredible steakhouse that offers complete decadence. Everything from the starter to the entree is packed with flavor. The chef delivers an incredible presentation that does not disappoint when it lands on your table. The wait staff is so incredible and friendly that they want to make sure that you're completely taken care of to the point of spoiling you. Only after you finish eating do you realize just how incredible it was. This place is a must if you're ever near the airport in Pittsburgh.

Yelp
Solid 4.5! We have driven past the restaurant multiple times over the last few years and decided to stop in for lunch. The atmosphere was elegant with a low light and 80s music playing in the background. Our server was nice and attentive. The food was pretty good. My lobster roll had a nice soft bun and the lobster meat had a hint of lemon. My husband enjoyed his steak and the desert was outstanding. We really enjoyed our first experience and we will plan to return.

Yelp
Everything was wonderful ! We will be back, the dinner was one of the best, beautiful dinner and great service as well.

Adam W.

Yelp
Had a business meal here. Apps - Oysters (pretty solid oyster - fair price) Salad - Wedge (nothing special - fair price) Soup - Crab bisque (really good - fair price) Dinner - Coffee rubbed Delmonico and Lobster Mac (Steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were excellent - good price) Dessert - Coffee and cheesecake (never received coffee and cheesecake was underwhelming) Dinner for 2 with a cocktail was $300 plus. I would go back if I was staying near the airport. Would make it a must, but it was convenient.

Yelp
Giving this a 3.5 just because of what i ordered. I feel like when I come back and actually get a steak or something, this rating will bump up. I loved the warm bread, and my crab bisque was delicious. I ordered a caesar salad for my lunch, but there was hardly any dressing on it. I feel like my salads at home are better lol. Obviously, the salad is probably the worst thing to order at a steakhouse, but i was still surprised by how unflavored it was. That's my only complaint! The service was great and the other menu options looked really good.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
The food and service was great! The restaurant was not very busy but it was a yucky rainy night so I get why some people would stay inside. The steaks were delicious and perfectly prepared. They have a nice wine selection.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was delicious but service was underwhelming. We started with burrata with banquettes. It had a nice pesto sauce drizzled on top. I got the fillet which was cooked perfectly. We ended with the turtle ice cream pie which was amazing. The server never filled our water glasses. We ended up getting a pitcher and filling our own. The server , also, spilled a martini all over my husband and friend. It happens but all in all, we could have had a better experience with service. It wouldn't stop me from going back because the food made up for it.

Yelp
Service was excellent, steak was well cooked and seasoned. Dessert definitely stole the show...amazing!!!

Yelp
For my birthday that fell on a weekday, I was passionate about having a coffee crusted steak for lunch. I was initially sad to see Ditka's coffee crusted steak was only on their dinner menu, but to my delight they were able to make the dinner item for lunch! The waitress was so kind! I was so pleased to enjoy the Coffee Rubbed Delmonico. In lieu of green beans I swapped Crispy Brussels Sprouts! For starters we had Mike's salad and the Sherry Crab Bisque. My husband enjoyed the Vodka Rigatoni as his entree. We were gifted a sweet treat for dessert and ordered a cappuccino to pair! Ditka's is quiet at lunchtime and their lunchtime prices are comparable to any other restaurant in the area. We'll be back for sure at lunchtime and this will probably be my new birthday lunch tradition!

Lisa D.

Yelp
Caleb! He was awesome just the right balance of friendliness- attentiveness and giving us space! The food Hubby got scallops - me the house salad blackened chicken. We had a delish anniversary dessert!! Ask for Caleb - great guy!
google avatar

Katie R.

Yelp
We come here often and we always start with the Mikes salad. My go to is the Parmesan crusted cod which with the rice and green beans is the perfect combination. The turtle ice cream pie is also magical. Restaurant is clean and orderly and service was great! Tip: best if you have a reservation. If you don't they do have a bar area that is first come first serve.

Yelp
Everything was great except very loud and noisy. Service was at and food was good. Recommend putting in noise reducing tiles

Yelp
Let me first say that we have been here many times, even going way back to when it was still Atria's (my favorite, and I was a server there). We have been here a few times since it's been Ditka's, and for the most part the food was good and the service was acceptable. Tonight we went for our anniversary. It started out great -- easy reservation for a romantic booth in a packed Tuesday dining room, and our server came to the table right away. But that's when it went south. She took our drink order, then proceeded to never return -- with our drinks, OR to take our food order. After we watched her chat up another table for awhile, go to the bar and return with someone else's drink order (not ours), after 15-20 minutes, we decided to leave. We told the hostess desk and went to our car. We had every intention of leaving, but since it was our anniversary and the number of "fancy" restaurants in the area is nil, we chose to go back in and asked for a table at the bar. The hostesses and manager obviously knew we had left and were incredibly apologetic. They seated us right away in the bar area, and a new server -- who was wonderfully attentive and sweet -- tended to us right away. We were served immediately with complimentary glasses of prosecco to toast our anniversary, and since we had known what we wanted to order for the better part of a half-hour, we placed our order right away. Our food was delicious, the drinks were perfect, and after our appetizer course and first round of drinks (both of which were comped for our trouble), we had calmed enough to enjoy our evening. All this to say -- at a high-end restaurant with prices comparable to Capital Grille and the like, I expect high-end service. As someone who worked in the industry for some time, it pains me to leave a negative review, but I appreciate the effort the manager (and other employees) made to make up for a poor experience. Unfortunately though, I will think twice before coming here again soon, or at least make sure I ask for a specific server the next time.

Yelp
Good food for Mother's day but hospitality was not good. Invite says no high chairs available but we were rudely greated with no strollers in restaurant either. However there were a number of elderly with walkers and wheel chairs, but i guess the restrictions just apply to infants. Finally there was a group, no shame to well known pittsburgh sportscaster, who received two high chairs for their group. I have frequented this place for business and personal but will reconsider in the future.
google avatar

Bacong F.

Yelp
Maybe the chef had an off night because the steak and crab cakes were very salty. I had a couple bites of each and was done. The calamari and desserts were great! Service and ambience is typical of a finer dining compared to other local restaurants.

Yelp
I tried this Ditka's location a couple of years ago and really didn't think it was worth the money nor worth re-visiting, so I hadn't until recently when a friend who'd never been wanted to go, so we went... four of us as a business dinner. The server was OK and the venue is nice, menu is decent too. But their execution of the food isn't very good. I started with their crab bisque and it was tasty, but wasn't hot, like soup normally is. We got their large nachos to share and the beef in them tasted interesting, but these were also not hot; in fact, they were somewhat cool. For my entrée I tried their twin filet medallions with crab cakes. The mashed potatoes were very flavorful, but cool. The green beans were tasty and hot. The filets I asked for medium, but they were well done. I couldn't even eat the second was, sa it was too tough and dry. I cut into it and showed the server and she acknowledged and asked if I wanted new ones, but at that point, it wouldn't have mattered, it's very easy to get this right in the first place, they need to do that, rather than try to make up for it afterwards. Needless to say, we won't be back.

Yelp
Lovely place, great service and food. Took a colleague from out of town. Tim was our server, he was a nice blend of attentive and gave us space. The banana peppers were amazing. Enjoyed burgers and halibut. Agreed that the burgers were cooked perfectly but next time will probably skip some of the toppings to appreciate the brisket blend. Our colleague loved the halibut. Only complaint was the noise level. Will definitely return but at an earlier time than the dinner rush. Otherwise lovely evening..

Matt P.

Yelp
Food was great. Atmosphere nice but a bit boring. Wanted to buy a mug or a shirt or even a pen with restaurant logo but they didn't sell anything. Service is fine. Would rate higher but the price was about 20% more than it was worth so the value isn't there.
google avatar

Bob C.

Yelp
We went for a business dinner and the food was good. I had the filet, ditka's salad and we got 5-6 sides for the table. I may go back the next time we visit Pittsburgh, but for the price I would rather go to a Jeff Ruby's restaurant with a lot better food and service.
google avatar

Carl M.

Yelp
The food was delicious, we had steaks and pasta. The wine was delicious, great selection. The atmosphere was romantic and upscale. Service was spectacular and professional.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped for a late lunch on a Friday (2 pm). Got seated immediately in the dining area (2 people) The interior is all wood. Tables and chairs and covered with sports pictures and memorabilia. Our waiter took our drink order and after a short conversation about the ongoing tennis match went to the bar to check the score for me. My date had a cocktail that she called the "best ever". I had a cold local beer. I ordered a specialty burger that was excellent. My partner had a piece of salmon, also very good. Skipped desserts. Total bill with tip, $60
google avatar

Kaela K.

Yelp
Great food and service every time we visit. Really enjoy grabbing a drink from the bar for happy hour, just wish the bar was a tad bigger! It's always a struggle to find two seats, but if you can they make great cocktails!
google avatar

Joshua E.

Yelp
My steak was perfect, Pittsburg style medium and the calami and asparagus were good as well. I look forward to coming back.
google avatar

Scott M.

Yelp
Can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here and will keep going there as long as it's around. I get the steak and asparagus on very visit. Not to mention the cocktails are very good as well. The wait staff is very professional. It's laid out for a restaurant and very clean.

Yelp
This food was bomb. The ambiance was fantastic. The service was phenomenal. I dined here on a random weekday. It wasn't too bad getting a table but there was still a wait. This is a pretty popular restaurant owned by a pretty popular man. From the initial greeting with the hostess, the workers were super polite and courteous. The food was phenomenal. I had the lobster mac & cheese which blew my mind away. That was followed by the steak which was made exactly to my liking and well seasoned. I ordered the steak as a recommendation and I'm very glad I did. I skipped out under desert during this visit because the food was plentiful and filling. Actually, even the bread was delicious. I usually like to order cocktails but given that this was a steakhouse, I went with the wind. I did not realize we remember what it was called but even that was good and it came as a recommendation from the staff. They know they are talking about. So if you're looking for a casual fine dining experience but don't want to go into the city. This is definitely a spot. Weekday or weekend, you'll have a lovely experience

Christa V.

Yelp
We came here for our wedding anniversary. My husband make reservations online and asked if we were celebrating an occasion so he marked the right box. We got there and was seated promptly. Our waiter was very friendly, informative and courteous. He brought us a card that said "Happy Anniversary on it, and desert at the end for 2, and complementary champagne to toast to. Our entrees were very good, hot and just what we wanted. It's a pretty busy place but service was on average and not too slow.
google avatar

Josiah H.

Yelp
Delicious food Very tasty. Our waiter was awesome he was very informative about the food and selection. Honestly it's very rare to find such a great and enthusiast waiter. Ambiance was great. Easily 10 out of 10 I would recommend to anyone
google avatar

David Y.

Yelp
We typically will go here for happy hour or dessert. The staff at the bar is top tier and the calamari makes me happy every time. It can get crowded at the bar area. Overall I recommend for a good glass of wine and a treat!

Yelp
Ditka's Pittsburgh PA Thur 2/17/22 © Fine dinner at Ditka's Seafood and Steakhouse in the company of a founding partner from the hosting firm I came to evaluate. I'm in Pittsburgh on a first business trip since the start of the pandemic. Tied up in meetings all day. Old Fashioned to relax, first. Makers Mark bourbon, aromatic & Orange bitters. Smooth! Couple of appetizers, Colossal Shrimp cocktail with fresh horseradish and Rhode Island calamari, crispy fried and tossed in garlic butter, with sweet and hot peppers. Sherry crab bisque, lip smacking good! I love soups! New York strip was my main course, center cut and heavy aged, from Linz Heritage Angus Steaks menu. Side of roasted wild mushrooms. Delizioso, exceptional steak. Look at my steak, middle cut for your vicarious viewing pleasure, before I dig in! My colleague got Bone-in rib eye, also center cut and heavy aged, and asked for same roasted wild mushrooms substitute, they were absolutely out of this world superbly tasty! I had the Old Fashioned with Maker's Mark Bourbon and aromatic & Orange bitters, not pictured LOL forgot to snap a photo! Pictured is Moscow Mule with Tito's vodka, ginger beer, and fresh lime. Caramelized sugar goodness, Creme Brûlée with fresh berries. Everyone's favorite! Mmm! Chef's Cheesecake, housemade, the selection is seasonal, and it's not your ordinary typical slice or wedge, it's a piece of art, it's a sweet deliciousness, that you won't find anywhere else! { Ditka's is an upscale restaurant and bar serving steaks, chops, and seafood - your Midwestern American fare. Yelp
Stayed at the Hyatt across the street and this place was close by and had great reviews. Well Yelp Community you did not disappoint! We're traveling and it was our first meal of the day at 5 pm. Our Server Josh was patient, knowledgeable and expertly guided us through the menu as we ordered the seafood Cobb salad, button mushrooms, brussel sprouts, lobster mac and cheese, shrimp scampi, scallops and risotto, chicken gumbo, Ribeye and Fillet Mignon (they were perfectly cooked), crème brûlée and chocolate cake. OMG! We're in a delicious food coma. The Staff was amazing! They provided excellent suggestions of things to do and it was obvious that they Love their town Thank you Diane, Sara, Chris (he's been there 11+ years and helped us find a great music spot) the former SF resident and still Dodger fan (sorry I don't think we got your name, the other awesome blonde personality and again Josh. Thank you All for a memorable visit

Yelp
Outstanding diner! The meal was great, the service was great, and the atmosphere was great! Definitely on my list for a return trip.

Yelp
Adam was AMAZING!!! Fabulous loved every minute of his presence. Oh and the food was delicious.

Yelp
This restaurant has a great ambiance. It's nice, but you don't feel like you have to be dressed up. The service is amazing!! Our server was efficient and super personable - Had great recommendations! The coconut shrimp appetizer had HUGE shrimp! Perfectly cooked. Crispy. Not super sweet or overly coconut-y. My friends had steaks that were prepared beautifully. I had the salmon. AMAZING!!!! It was cooked exactly how I like salmon. Crispy on the edges, soft inside. On a very moist and flavorful corn cake. Lemon crème sauce on the side. Fresh citrus on top to brighten it up. I am not a steakhouse lover, but I would 10000000% come back here!!!

Yelp
I was there early in May; the food was delicious but the decor was dated. Going back last night I was surprised and delighted to see the modern updates! It went from convention style seating to an intimate and cozy experience. Well done. Now the carpet truly does match the drapes.

Randy F.

Yelp
Atmosphere was good. Service was average. Food was average. We just expected a better experience and better food for the money. Not a bad spot but certainly better choices for the cost.

Yelp
High-brow steaks and dishes where you can wear shorts and a t-shirt? Yes, please! Pros: The steak is top-notch ,especially the coffee-rubbed Delmonico. Their ribs, crab bisque, burgers, are all superior. The wait staff is ALWAYS a level above what you'd get at other restaurants. Their drinks are moderately-priced. Cons: This place is not cheap, but worth it. Accessing and leaving the parking lot can be a chore. They used to sell Ditka's BBQ sauce in a bottle, which was AMAZING, but do not anymore. Booooooo. Summary: If you want high-end food without the pretentious attitude, Ditka's is the place to go. Pro Tip: Try their Pot Roast Nachos.

Nancy S.

Yelp
Met some friends and the staff was very patient while we visited before we ordered. Our food was excellent and came as requested. This is a great place to meet for business as well as catch up with old friends.

Yelp
Ditka's is our go-to spot for a steak. Always great food and atmosphere. Service is tremendous, especially Shannon (our regular server). Also, the managers are always rolling up their sleeves to help the staff - something you don't see in a lot of restaurants...
