The idea of this place is very cool. It was not obvious to us that the entire concept changes every 4 months and this seems like it will be quite a tough challenge to pull off. The term pop-up bar implied to me a much less permanent concept.
All of that aside, the drinks are extremely unique, I ordered their take on a Manhattan and it came in a glass sphere of ice, very dank. My girlfriend ordered their take on a margarita that was tasty as well. The margarita included a black salt rim and a very dank candied flower petal as a garnish.
We didn’t try the food as we had already eaten, but the food menu looked pretty uninspired.
Overall the atmosphere was like an acid flashback - in both good and bad ways. The drinks were dank and the happy hour prices were a great value. One critique on the drinks would be that they seem to be overly sweet, not something I could have more than one or two of.
We will at least return to see if they pull off the next concept and possibly during happy hour when we’re in the area.
