Best Vintage shopping experience, ever. Stumbled on this shop by accident while visiting Jamaica Plain. The selection of clothes, the music and the VERY nice and friendly staff made for an awesome experience. Turned out it was their 5 year anniversary so everything was 15% off, which was already great but then they also have ‘regular’ discounts based on how long an item has been on their racks. These still counted even with the 15% discount for their anniversary. I can keep typing because we’re just so happy with the experience. Thank you guys! Keep it up.

I've been here many times, and I absolutely love it. It's a very warm and inviting place, and everybody is very kind here! They're very helpful and knowledgeable. You can tell they like being there. I worked with stylist Esraa today, who is an absolute gem. Her sense of style and personalization is amazing. She found me some incredible pieces I immediately had to buy! If you're looking for unique and alternative fashion and need help finding stuff that suits you, she's definitely your best bet. I will definitely keep coming back. It's one of my favorite places in the Boston area. :)

my twin and i visited in november of last year after i had my check up appointment at longwood surgery which was just conveniently nearby. two floors of vintage clothing, records, and rock & roll paraphernalia. i love the grunge nostalgic feel of the basement level, there’s an old tv with vhs films playing on it & they’ve got a killer gaming setup of which i can pop in a tony hawk pro skater game and relive my glorious failed gameplay! very fun, i’ll definitely swing back here with my friends more this summer

I absolutely recommend, the prices are reasonable for thrift/consignment AND there's so many beautiful handmade items in store. location also has parking lot in the back which I've made use of. thanks so much!! I have been going to Diversity for a couple years and used to recommend it to everyone. After my last experience, I can’t recommend. The owner, whose name is Brandon I believe, helped me when I came in. My visit started off rough as he said he could not find my consignment account despite recognizing me from consigning other times. He got me set up with a new account but not all of the clothes he took were added to my new consigner account. I tried calling and asking about it the very day because a sweater that was very special to me was not on my account and now I was worried what else might not be on my item list. I had to call back several times for the problem to be solved because no one would return my calls. Unfortunately, my dear sweater was sold almost immediately for way less than I was comfortable with, but because it was not on my account I could not flag the selling price as an issue for me so the item could be pulled off the floor. Again, the owner helped me when I came in. He told me that at the end of my consigning period they will hold the clothes for 6 months in the back. When I called to pick up my things they told me that was not the case. The items stay on the floor and the store keeps the full profit after the consignment period. This fully contradicts what’s the owner said to me. I remember specifically asking him to clarify that they pull the clothes off the fooor and hold them for us consigners because that seemed unbelievable. Another thing he got wrong was my consignment pickup date, apparently the date he wrote for me was wrong and my pickup date was earlier than what he gave me. Despite messing up my account himself I was never called by the owner to be reassured that all the other items he took were actually added to my account so that I will be paid should they sell. You might as well donate your items to a shelter because Diversity will not make sure you are properly cared for and paid for the items they take. Seriously disappointed in the service and the owner.

We came here on our anniversary to pick out outfits for each other for dinner. There's a great selection of clothes for all, men, women, nonbinary, etc. They don't have dedicated parking, but the public parking behind the buildings on the strip is easy to get into. When we went in, both staff members were friendly and super helpful. They let us know there was more downstairs, didn't even realize there was a downstairs! I picked out a great top and pants for my husband and he picked out a cute dress with jean jacket for me. The clothes were weather appropriate but there are also options for cold weather in various spots because it was still getting cold at night in Boston. The probably best part was all the art that was available from independent artists. I got so many stickers and posters to gift and hang in my house. Cat tarot cards are great and I'm so happy we stopped in here because the vibe was 10000% better for us than other thrift shops. I also got book earrings, an elephant bracelet, and another pair of earrings. . The prices are reasonable and there's some great things in there even from the 90s.

Ian is very welcoming and a great conversationalist. They are very selective what they curate. This means less crap to sort through. I like that the tags already have the 25% and 50% off prices with dates. As a bargain hunter I was able to score a good deal on a half-price item. FWIW, be sure to go to the lower level. I found a much higher percentage of discounted items there.

" Better then sliced bread " This diversity consignment shop is everything. The vibe is everyone belongs and I love that . I am new to the consignment game about a year in . However this consignment shop is very comfortable and just not like the other consignment ms . Big selection and store is organized and the vibe is welcoming.

I'm a big fan of Diversity Consignment. They have an incredible assortment of clothes, bags, shoes... all in really great condition. They curate their stock incredibly well and their inventory goes on sale regularly. I love hunting for deals here! The staff is usually pretty helpful, sometimes they can act a little hesitant to assist but they're usually great. There's a little sitting area in the basement that anyone can hang out in. There are changing rooms here as well! Would recommend stopping in!

Sell clothes and receive cash or store credit. Don't throw away clothes when you can sell them here and buy some new to you items! Don't forget to look at the bottom floor and clothes by the pound room for just $2 a lb! Out of season or clothes which overstayed their welcome end up in the by lb are and money is donated to local charities.

Great place for unique and cute finds! They have everything from bags to records to local art, instruments, and jewelry. It's also a great place to consign your preloved items for a nice amount or trade for a higher credit. The service is always top notch and helpful. And don't forget to check out the downstairs and their by the pound section!
