"Hit up Divine Merci Restaurant, tucked away in Mattapan, for nearly perfect diri kole ak pwa. First, you must appreciate the magic of the Haitian marinade epis to understand why the rice is so good. The sauce, a blend of aromatic herbs, vegetables, and spices, enhances the flavor of this buttery rice and bean dish. It shines alongside an order of piping hot boulet (fried meatballs) and an ice-cold papaya juice." - Ashia Aubourg

I can personally say I’ve been to 90% of the Haitian restaurants in the hood and they are the best hands-down. Their chicken is juicy and fresh, the rice is immaculate. Wonderful portions and the biggest portions are gonna get around the way. The environment is very nice. It’s very clean inside and welcoming. Above all the owner goes out her way to create an environment and provide a service that is elite compared to the other Haitian restaurants in this neighborhood. The owner is behind the register and in the kitchen and that’s what you call a boss! Don’t miss out!

This food was disgusting; I honestly wouldn’t even consider it Haitian cuisine. It’s truly a disgrace to the Haitian community. Do yourself a favor and save your money.

Customers be aware this restaurant owner is a ripoff, she don’t put the right price for the food on Ubereats then decided not to send everything. I ordered as a punishment for the price they want to charge me for the food. I contacted Ubereats and was refunded the money for the soda she wants to scam me for the money. I will NEVER order from this place again. The owner doesn’t care about the customers issues from their mistakes. She very argumentative to convince that she’s right in whatever wrong doing she’s doing.

That marinad with pikliz was fire, akra was a bit oily and the griyo was cooked well. Would definitely go back.

This place could have gotten 4 or 5 stars. It is nice, the sitting area is clean the food is very good (Tasso kabrit, rice, legume and sauce pois). However, the last time I went there I ordered fritay and they only gave me 10 banan, 3 marinade and Tasso. I got to my car and check to food and so that there was no patate and no akra. I returned and asked the lady who is in the kitchen came out and gave me a major attitude for asking for the rest of my order. She then tried to give a hotdog to compensate for the Akra and the patate. I found it to be a bit deceitful by not telling me that the Akra and patate were not ready. I had to wait for her to fry the Akra.

2nd time in Boston, my bro was in a hurry to get Haitian food. Told him to wait for our cuz for recommendations but he couldn't wait. He found this place. That place was really nice, people were really nice as well. The food tho was not up to par for Haitian food at all.

Google
their side orders are overpriced. The cost is the same as an actual plate of food. 26.29 for 2 sides (fried pork & smothered veggies no meat) ridiculous. I have never gotten food from here before and my first time is my last. On a scale of 1-10 the sides where a 5. I did take out but if you are going to dine in then just know the music is loud.

Yelp
Monday, November 6, 2023, I called the restaurant Divine Mercies and asked if they had black rice and Lalo and was told no. Ten minutes later a call came in from the same restaurant Divine Mercies, and I was told yes we have black rice and Lalo. I placed my order then I drove from Jamaica Plain to pick up my good. After I tasted the first spoonful of rice and Lalo I was very, very disappointed because both dishes was burned and tasted horrible. I will never order food from this restaurant again.

Yelp
Great Haitian food at a reasonable price! My favorite here is the mayo moullen with legume or Raghu!!

Yelp
Food was ok but I ordered chicken and received fowl which was tough but I went back and got the chicken it was ok

Yelp
Their sos pwa had no taste and taste like baby food. Their red sauce taste like it came out of a Tomato paste can, and their meat is dry and tasteless. Terrible Haitian food experience.
