Cool and cozy bar to stop by for tasty beers in Oakland. It is one of the bars on the Oakland Ale Trail so make sure to grab the ale trail pamphlet when your there. Once acquired just ask for a stamp at each of the bars on the ale trail and be rewarded with a free growler! I plan to go back to Diving Dog soon for trivia on Monday night.

Kick ass beer selection with a cool atmosphere! Has vats to make your own beer for a price. Bartender was super friendly & helpful.

Amazing place all organic natural beauty is the brewhouse you should definitely recommended him to throw fits good and it's right across from the Fox theater come by bring your friends and have a fresh beer and giant recommend try the flight

Great selection of beers and we were there to finish up the beer we brewed. It was like VIP because they let us in before its open to the public. Super nice staff. The beer brewing was super fun.

You can brew your own beer here. That is awesome. I don't have the room or knowledge to do it right but diving dog takes care if that for a small price. PLUS they have a great selection of beers on tap.

It's an okay spot. Lots of taps so nothing to complain about there. You can brew your own beer there with their equipment, which makes for an interesting experience if they're brewing while you're there hanging out. They turned on the water to wash something while we were there and it was loud as heck. I'm glad I went at least once.

Great experience. Very knowledgeable and friendly bartenders. People at the bar were friendly and willing to engage in small talk. I'd recommend this place to anyone coming from out of town looking for 2-3 beers and a chill atmosphere.
